The long wait is worth it

This popular spot in Laguna Beach offers a wide variety of brunch favorites: from delicious pastries to savory egg dishes. The atmosphere is casual and busy. You stand on line to order at the front desk and then a waiter will bring your order to the table. The long wait standing on line to order was a bit annoying, particularly because I was hungry and cold. The food was VERY good: we ordered freshly squeezed OJ, poached eggs with salmon, and a latte. We still could have ordered a second coffee and a croissant, but I was not going to stand on line again. I think that if you were to order ahead on their app, service would go faster.

We went for early dinner food was great. I had the New York Reuben and Lental Soup, my wife had the mushroom pizza. The next day we went I had the eggs benedict and my wife had the mushroom omelette. Very nice fast casual dining.

Yes, the wait can be long; however, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun! Delicious gluten-free options. I had the corn pancakes, and they were so good I got them again the second time I visited. My friend had an egg dish that was amazing also.

We had breakfast there on a Sunday morning. Get there early! Food was good, coffee was great, wait for food was a bit long, but delicious when it arrived. Lovely to eat out on the patio.

My dad and I recently ate here on a vacation to Laguna Beach. We had planned to go for brunch on Sunday after arriving, but it was PACKED with a line way outside from the door to the street curb, so we came back the next day instead for breakfast. We got typical food - omelets, fruit, toast, coffee, etc. - and everything was good. The actual process of ordering here isn't the typical sit down with a dedicated waiter - you stand in line to order at the counter and then are on your own for refills/any other little items you need. We had a good experience, but one visit was enough. Being on vacation, we wanted the normal sit down service experience.

We always enjoy Urth cafes. Saturday morning is of course a time expected to be busy, so given the line out the door we opted to get into the short take-out line for simply a muffin and a couple of lattes. The lovely muffin was delivered by the person who took our order and money, then directed us to the end of the bar, where we waited THIRTY FIVE MINUTES for the coffee to be prepared. No pleasant.

Urth never disappoints and it is always one of our first stops when in the area. Try to go early or at off times if you don't want to wait in line. Inside and outside dining where you order & pay at the counter, pay, and then they bring you the order. Varied menu and something for everyone. My favorite things are the daily iced teas (usually 3 different kinds...this time was lemongrass lavender), and the white corn pancakes, but I got the white corn waffles this time, which were amazing. Soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Get extra berries on them.

We wait 30 minutes to get our tea and coffee but 5 minutes for the sandwiches and eggs. The restaurant is dirty and the staff so unfriendly !!!!!!!

Don't be fooled, save your money

The menu and online reviews initallly looked great, so we decided to give this place a try. There were several issues: the orange juice had black grime floating to the top, and tasted more like a juice drink rather than freshly squeezed orange juice. The guy seemed bothered when I asked to swap it out. The Urth Laguna Breakfast was terrible, too. What was supposed to be a basil garnish actually covered the entire plate and made all of the food slightly taste like basil, along with an unidentified funky taste that I just can't pinpoint. The eggs were orange despite not having cheese in or on them, the potatos had a funky taste that I don't think was due to the basil, and the sausage links were under cooked given they were still pink in the middle. Last but not least, the coffee drinks we ordered didnt arrive until we were ready to leave. Save your money and avoid this place.

Good place good service. We already two different salads, ordered one chicken dish some soups and some drinks. Everything was unique everything was delicious. I like how they practice social distancing in placing their tables outside. The servers are very helpful if you need any condiments or anything to help you right away with a smile. The food was fresh the serving time was not that long. Not disappointed with anything all good walked in happy I walked out happy. I forgot my server's name she was awesome I asked for a little spicy sauce and she gave me three different sauces all the different taste. Not only that she came back twice to see if I need anything else to make my food better. I'll definitely recommend this place and we'll go back again soon because my taste buds are still asking me to go back. Five stars for the service five stars for the food 5 stars for everything else.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
