Mid-week visit
I visited here for just the second time as I donโt live in the area. The restaurant is nicely situated on the high road at Chiswick and looks inviting from the outside. Upon entering we received a warm welcome from our waiter who showed us to our table in the main restaurant area, which is well decorated and has a nice ambiance. It was a belated family birthday celebration and there were four of us. Two of us started off with cocktails which were good. I had a Cosmopolitan and another person in the party had one of their own special cocktails and the guys had two beers. We all had starters, which were Gamberoni in Pastella con Lime e Riso Soffiato, Maionese alla Bisque (Crispy Batter Fried Tiger Prawns with Lime and Puffed Rice), Salumi e Formaggi Toscani (Selection of Cured Meats and Cheeses from Tuscany). Then for our mains we had the free range chicken, Filetto di Rombo, Patate Ratte e Carciofi (Turbot Fillet served Potatoes and Artichokes), Lamb cutlets and a ribeye steak. Two of us also had a sweet which were their Semisfera Rocher, Mousse ai Due Cioccolati e Riso Soffiato (Hazelnut Dome, Double Chocolate Mousse, Crunchy Rice Krispies, Cocoa Biscuit and Warm Chocolate Sauce) and I had their Torta di Carote (Warm Carrot Cake served with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Mousse and Carrot Jam). We also had a bottle of chardonnay to accompany the meal. Apart from the steak and lamb chops that two of them had for their mains, I would say that the main portions were quite small for what you pay for them and I was certainly disappointed with my sweet size wise as I have never had such a small piece of carrot cake. It was served on a large plate and whilst it was nicely decorated, it really needed more of the carrot cake as it was really small. Summing up I would say that the food that we had was all tasty and that itโs a nice place to go to, but price wise I would save this restaurant as a special meal type of place rather than somewhere to go regularly.
Be the first to ReplyDelightful ambience, great staff, superb food!
A restaurant that has it all. The products used are sublime and the staff are of a different calibre at the Villa. The setting is vibrant and the atmosphere is buzzing. Like your favourite โlittle black dressโ the Villa can be dressed up or down to be the perfect venue for any occasion. I cannot wait to go back. You have not truly tried sorbet until you have tried what they make here! Do not hesitate, go!
Be the first to Replydelicious food and fantastic service
I have only been to Villa Di Geggiano twice and both times were fantastic. The service was exceptional. They were very attentive and supplied us with lots of alcohol and olives. It was the first time I enjoyed an olive, so thank you for maturing my food palette! The pasta was superb.I couldn't fault the food at all. It is definitely one of the more expensive restaurants in chiswick. I recommend coming here in the summertime for an al fresco and white wine experience.
Be the first to ReplyUpscale Italian food
Lovely upscale Italian restaurant that delivers good food in a restaurant with really nice quirky dรฉcor. The service is excellent, attentive but not too intrusive. There is a good wine list with a few wines by the glass. I had the burrata as a starter and that was good but potentially served a bit too cold. For main I had the gnocchi and that was nice but could have done with a bit more flavor. Skipped dessert but had a lovely glass of grappa. With 2 glasses of wine, nibbles, starter, main and the grappa the bill was just over 100 pounds. A price tag like that makes this a restaurant for special occasions.
Be the first to ReplyIdeal Birthday Meal
This restaurant does excellent, high quality Italian food. It also had a good wine list. The decor is eye catching and modern, which creates a good atmosphere. The service was perfect, welcoming, efficient and friendly. I brought my partner here for his birthday and I was very pleased I'd chosen it.
Be the first to ReplyA must visit
I have visited this restaurant on many occasions over the past few years and I can faithfully say that everything has always been perfect, it has always been and will remain my favourite place to dine in London. Brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff and incredible food.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best affordable restaurants in London
Obviously the place to come for celebrations. As mine was two days previously we let the pianist off from a sixth rendition of happy birthday! Looking at the reviews, most have had the same very positive experience as us: either the blips were one-offs or they've actively used the feedback. We had excellent service and interesting well cooked food (including the wild boar pasta...). The dishes are not the 'usual' fare, so if you like Italian food but despair of bland menus, this should be on your go-to list. Must be knocking on the Michelin door. We also had cocktails - some standard, some quirky - beforehands in a lovely lounge area. On the pricey side but not extortionate. I'm sure this won't be our last time.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food
We had a lovely evening at Villa di Geggiano. The food is just oustanding and service is excellent. Spaghetti with Truffles were amazing and the tiramisu is to die for. No doubt one is the best restaurants in West London . The only criticism is that there wine by the glass options are very limited. People driving (who donโt or canโt get a bottle) donโt get much choice and also the actual glass of wine is very small. 125ml at best. But overall itโs always an authentic Tuscan menu of quality.
Be the first to ReplySummer lunchtime - an italian paradise
Lovely sunny weather, sitting under grape vines outside, excellent service, delicious food and wine and soaking in the ambience. Who needs to got to Italy, it's all here.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing!
Highly recommended! We had dinner and the whole experience from start to finish was great! Excellent food, very tasty and well prepared with delicious high quality dishes, the ambience and service is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines and cocktails too... canโt wait to come back!
Be the first to ReplyImpromptu anniversary
We stopped today after huge frustration with the Chiswick High Road traffic. It was an inspired choice. The menu is superb and the wine list works so well with the wild boar pasta dish which was delivered promptly to the table. The service and spirit of the whole restaurant team showed a dedication to the art of hospitality. I love being able to see into the kitchen and watch the masters at work. Weโll be back soon.
Be the first to ReplyBeware of the Art Room!
We were 20 mins late due to awful Chiswick roadworks (we did call en route to let them know) and found ourselves relegated to the Art Room because of it. It was freezing and very brightly lit - this was in stark contrast to the main restaurant which looked lovely. We were the only people in there for most of our meal so the atmosphere was a bit lacking! It spoilt the evening to be honest (our anniversary). I appreciate they have to manage two sittings but I thought it was a bit mean to make us sit there, especially as we were leaving anyway by 7:45pm to catch a film. Our waiter was absolutely charming.

Great 5 star restaurant! Service is 5 star deluxe, like in Michelin star restaurant.
Only positive emotions.
Food, drinks and presentation is outstanding.
Brilliant atmosphere.
Thank you, Villa de Geggiano team for all your hard work!
Fabulous outside lunch
We met friends for lunch outside in the beautiful garden. The food is very good, if a little fussy. Service is impeccable. Can't fault this place. Look forward to returning.
Be the first to ReplyThe Perfect Location to start the evening with friends
This is my second visit back to Villa Di Geggiano and my friends and I will definitely be visiting again! The first time we visited we sat in the main restaurant area for my friend's birthday and the staff were absolutely on point with their knowledge of wines and everything on the menu. I ordered one of the pasta dishes and it was divine! Our second visit was for more of a casual get together and this is where I was introduced to the lovely 'snug' type areas which are perfect for catching up with friends / having light bites etc. From the moment you walk in you get a warm feeling, almost like you're at home. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

Favourite place in london! Lovely Food, really friendly staff. Such a lovely venue for W family occasion or celebration. 10/10 would recommend!
Be the first to ReplyPoor service, too expensive
Food was ok, however portions were far too small for the price, especially the starters
Biggest disappointment was service. 4 of us ordered 2 glasses of wine, and a bottle. The screw top bottle was just put on the table, no offer to serve us the wine at all of for us to taste it.
Live pianist was very talented, but far too loud- we are there to meet friends and have nice food, not listen to a pianist.
The worst bit - after the restaurant had emptied at the end of service, it was suggested we may be more comfortable finishing our drinks in the bar, basically so they can clear the table. No problem with that per se, BUT when we said we would move we were left to take our drinks through ourselves- 4 adults, a baby, pram and wine, water etc. No offer of taking our drinks for us at all!!!
Basically for ยฃ110 per person for 3 courses and drinks, I expect MUCH better service and to not have to eat again as soon as I get home
Fabulous food
After my second visit to @villa_di_geggiano_london I was absolutely blown away. Renowned for its superb hospitality and generosity @villa_di_geggiano_london really is the place to visit for the perfect Italian evening when it London. With delicious food my favourite being ( truffle pasta) beautiful wines made at the family home @villadigeggiano in Tuscany and the stunning sounds from the piano being played in the background. It truly is the perfect place for an evening dinner. Every single detail has been considered even down to the interiors which really resonates with me. A massive thank you for making @joshbellisuk birthday so special with a stunning Italian cake and Prosecco upon arrival. I canโt wait to visit again soon.
Be the first to ReplyQuality restaurant, excellent cocktails.
This really is a quality venue with all the trims youโd expect from a classy restaurant, including the bill. But it was the cocktails in the bar that really impressed, made with great care and attention with premium products by an excellent mixologist, a very enjoyable visit.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible meal
One of the worst meals Iโve had in ages. The calamari was bland, lipid and cold. Both pasta dishes mediocre at best.
To add insult to injury they charged us for two glasses of โLaurent Perrierโ for ยฃ36 when we had ordered two glasses of Spumante.
Definitely never going back. There are much better places to eat in Chiswick by miles and miles and miles.
Not to mention the Musak played constantly.
AVOID.
