My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Villon this past Friday, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. We opted to sit at the bar, where we were promptly attended to by the talented bartender, Jay. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the menu were evident as he guided us through our culinary journey. Jay's recommendations were spot-on, and his friendly demeanor added to the charm of our visit. Now, onto the food - each dish was a masterpiece in its own right. We started with the apple salad, a delightful blend of flavors complemented by a surprising twist of ice cream. It was a refreshing start that left us eager for more. Next up was the octopus dish, which was nothing short of spectacular. Tender yet perfectly charred, it was a true testament to the chef's skill and creativity. For our main course, we indulged in the steak accompanied by potato gratin and green beans. Cooked to perfection, each bite was a symphony of flavors that left us speechless. To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a round of expertly crafted martinis followed by the Naked and Famous and Pisco Punch, all recommended by Jay himself.
