Did this burger spot live up to the hype!?!? The answer is yes their bone marrow beefy melts deliciousness just Ooozes flavor from every single bite. They have an outdoor eating area and a nice inside. Perfect for a date off the beaten path with some cool bars around. Deff a burger destination spot. The service was great too constantly checking in and filling the water and I was able to have my dog outside. .In short:- Great burger destination spot- Great date spot- Dog friendly outside area for well behaved dogs- Will be back

Be the first to ReplyWas looking for a great restaurant for a large group dinner
Was looking for a great restaurant for a large group dinner that could accommodate us outside and Virginia's delivered. Not only was the food amazing but the staff was 5 stars from helping set up the reservation to delivering the food in perfect fashion. Highly recommend Virginia's for any group dinning or really just a great meal.
Be the first to ReplyI have to say we were excited to try out Virginia's.
Went by for brunch. We got there a little before 2pm, so there were plenty of tables empty, and we got seated right away.It started off badly though, thanks to the oddly uncomfortable service. We got tap water - it smelled like soap, so we mentioned that to the host who was serving us, that could we get it changed please. He pushed back on giving us fresh glasses of water, saying we should order bottled water. I suggested that maybe the problem was the glass itself, but he said their glasses were clean and changing the glass would make no difference. We had literally sat down just a few minutes back -- it was so odd to experience this reluctance to change a glass of water. He finally agreed to give us fresh glasses of water after going back and forth about it.I wanted to order the salmon toast, but I'm severely allergic to avocados (which came with it). I asked if I could instead just get a little bit of some kind of greens. He was adamant that there could be no substitutions. I pointed out it wasn't quite substitution, I was just asking for a little bit of greens so it wouldn't be just salmon on a piece of toast. He wouldn't budge. There was nothing else I wanted on the menu so I got the salmon and paid extra to get poached eggs with it.When my food came, it had a little bit of greens with it. That's all I'd been asking for, the kitchen did it automatically - so if he'd only asked them he would have known a tiny bit of greens came with it, and I wouldn't have had to order eggs on top which I hadn't wanted in the first place. It was such a negative experience thanks to the terrible service, it was hard to enjoy the meal .As for the food, the poached eggs were overcooked, dense and almost dry. The salmon gave me an upset stomach in the afternoon. My husband's burger was good, though nothing special.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long time as I'd heard good things and my husband and I both ordered the burger as that's what every other table had and it looked good. ย For $31 for a burger and fries it was pretty disappointing. ย The bun was so soggy it made it difficult to eat. ย The shoestring fries were good though. ย Will stick to going next door!
Be the first to ReplyVirginia's is such a hidden gem.
The restaurant is adorable and all of the servers are so kind. They bring your food quickly and are very attentive to the tables. The table bread was very good, and the salmon toast was High quality and flavorful. I would 100% come back!
Be the first to ReplyWe had an early reservation purposefully for the 1/2 price
We had an early reservation purposefully for the 1/2 price burger deal which is advertised all over the place, even on the table. 5-6. Waiter took his sweet time to take our drink orders and food orders, didn't think to have to specify that we were ordering 2 burgers with the assumption of the special. When we went to pay, they charged full price and argued that the order was input into their machine at 6:01 so sorry too bad. Unprofessional and a bad end to an otherwise mediocre meal. Argued thoroughly against it bc of the moral of it all, but will not return. Poor management and policy. Inside also needs a renovation. The one star is solely for the fries, they were good.

The best burger I have had in NYC and a very nice beer selection here, too. There is sometimes a happy hour burger deal, which is excellent! Highly recommend for casual night.

Good for people who: want to grab a quick, cute breakfast in the east villageBad for people who: prefer to see while in the bathroom My friend and I went here around 1 PM on a Saturday and there wasn't any wait and had a decent amount of tables still open. All the tables are under a roof structure so you don't have to worry about sitting in the sun. The staff were pretty attentive and were always around whenever we needed something. My friend and I split the cod sandwich and french toast which were both great. We got the fries with the cod sandwich and they were some of the best fries I've had in a while. The french toast had coconut flakes on them which I've never seen before but I'll definitely be doing that to my own french toasts from now on cuz they were so tasty. The only complain I have about this place is the bathroom. It was so incredibly dark inside that I actually thought the light was turned off so I flicked the light switch but then realized that they were were actually already on. I told my friend about it because I was so shocked and she told me she did the exact same thing with the light switch when she went earlier. Honestly was a little gross imo considering I had no idea how dirty the bathroom was because I couldn't see anything... Would still come back though. Just would try to use the bathroom elsewhere...
Be the first to ReplyWe hosted my boss's retirement party here.
For almost a month we called several different restaurants in the city, but it was a pain to get a table for 12 ppl. The day before the party, a coworker recommended this and we cancelled our other reservation and came here instead. The staff helped us plan the surprise and were just so nice. They have a great wine selection. I really enjoyed several of the apps and loved my entree of choice - salmon. Highly recommend this place if you have a big group, but also go if you don't :).
