Unforgettable Stays
My twin daughters and I always have such luxurious experiences here. The service is phenomenal. The hotel staff members are attentive and courteous. The food at Jean-Georges is divine! Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills continues to make the girlsā birthday celebrations worthwhile and is by far our favorite hotel!
Be the first to Reply5 Star Review!!
I am a Hilton honors member and my experience at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills was beyond incredible! When I checked into the hotel, I was upgraded to a suite that had amazing views of the Los Angeles skyline. There were fresh flowers in the in the bathroom and incredible attention to detail. The staff was polite, welcoming and made us feel like royalty. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well and didnāt want to spend hours waiting to be seen in the Emergency Room or Urgent Care. So I asked to have a house call doctor come to the room. It was a wonderful experience and felt better shortly after the visit! My staycation/ Valentine's weekend was saved! A huge āThank Youā to the concierge for recommending AM PM DOC. They were quick to arrive, compassionate and caring! Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay phenomenal! I will be planning more vacations with you guys!
Be the first to ReplyThis property does not care for people with special needs, disgusting policy
The Waldorf Astoria has an interesting policy for Hilton members who perhaps want to stay there on points. The short version: This property has purposefully chosen to put those who book with points into rooms normally reserved for those with special needs (mobility, hearing, etc) in an effort to make a few bucks. Reserving these rooms ahead of times for able bodied points users and removing them from the pool for people who NEED them to book. For reference before I go into it, hotels set their points prices, and which categories cost what, so this is a fully conscious, purposeful choice by this property. Hilton's can set 'Standard' points values, and several levels of 'Premium' points rooms which cost much more and are usually nicer. At this property, however, the only Standard (cheapest!) rooms you can book are their various handicap accessible or special needs rooms. What this means is anybody looking to stay here on the standard level of points is forced to take available room inventory away from those with special needs, and the hotel SPECIFICALLY has planned it this way in order to try to make some bucks off those rooms for special needs they had to build. Have mobility issues and want to book a few days out? Sorry, inventory may likely show zero since reserved by people staying on points. The hotel does claim it will move people out of those rooms when they check in and into regular rooms (so why aren't those regular rooms 'Standard'?) but that doesn't change the fact that until that happens, those rooms are booked and unavailable for people who actually NEED them to book and the fact that the hotel has specifically chosen this practice of utilizing these special rooms in an attempt to make some more money and keep these people from booking -actual- Standard rooms in their inventory. This issue was raised with the hotel's general manager who does not care.

This place is worth the price. The rooms are great, new, and clean. Mattresses are comfortable. Gym is nice. Rooftop JG restaurant is fun even when itās cold and dark outside. The location is tiptop. The staff is very professional. Enjoy Beverly Hills.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Oasis of Luxury in Beverly Hills
Stayed here for Valentineās Day with my free annual Hilton certificate. Got upgraded to a Deluxe Double Double room with Hills view. Room was wonderful - beds and bedding were extremely comfortable, technology worked flawlessly. Shades, lighting, internal controls were controlled by multiple in room switches and in-room iPad. Chrome cast to the large TV worked seamlessly from the iPad I brought - HBO, Amazon, all worked fine. Bathroom was luxurious - water pressure and temperature were all great. We were given small pastries, complimentary bottled water, and a $50 food and beverage credit upon check in. So, of course we went and had a drink at the rooftop bar at night. MAKE RESERVATIONS! Despite it being fairly chilly - the rooftop was rockingā¦thankfully there are heaters and blankets if you needā¦ drinks were tasty and standard LA premium prices. The gym was large and boasted the latest Technogym brand equipment. It wasnāt crowded but got busy around 900am. It was too chilly to enjoy the rooftop swimming pool. Everything from elevators to pool deck required room key or Hilton app access (which was kinda cool). Hotel also had a free shuttle (large Escalades) that could shuttle hotel guests (pick up or drop off) within 3 miles. We didnāt get to use it, but we did walk to the Westfield mall (about 10 mins away) and Rodeo Drive (also 10 minutes away, but in the opposite direction). The Waldorf was nice and central to all the action. We also had brunch on the rooftop the following morningā¦Lobster burger and the Wagyu Cheeseburgerā¦both were delicious. Lastly - service all around the hotel was very premiumā¦everyone was friendly and offered to help us with bags and other items. Valet was quick and helped us load luggage at departure. Thanks Moiz at the front desk for the upgrade and the hospitalityā¦was a wonderful stay and plan to come again soon.
Be the first to ReplyFruit fly on my food!
I couldn't believe I would find a fruit fly on my food. When I informed the front desk restaurant, she just simply squashed the fly on my plate and asked if I wanted to change the fruit. Then, a second later, the Supervisor came and said sorry, its just a fly that got in the fruit, as if like it was no big deal! Are you kidding me? With this hotel's caliber and considering its a 5 * hotel, it's normal to have a flies? They write it off my bill since it's a right thing to do.
Be the first to Reply5/5 so good you have to stay to believe
5/5 in every single way. The staff are discreet and professional. The rooms are exceptional with amazing amenities. We stayed as a family of 4 and enjoyed the rooftop pool with incredible views. Shopping is close by and the hotel food. And drink is reasonably priced. We will 100% be back.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing with more misses than hits!
Firstly I am a regular traveller to Beverly Hills and usually stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel (last visit June 2022) which is an exceptional experience with flawless service. However the cost has become eye watering this past year. Which is why we decided to try the Waldorf Astoria on this visit (Jan 2023) as it was only for two nights. First impressions were good, friendly check-in experience and our room was larger than expected and very comfortable. Then unfortunately it all started to go downhill. On our first morning, there was no table at breakfast for our group which included two hungry children and the staff seemed very uninterested in solving our predicament. To make matters worse it was pouring with torrential rain and we wanted to stay in the hotel to eat. We asked the bell staff for two umbrellas to walk to a nearby diner, and they were all gone, once again no attempt to assist. We returned to the hotel in the afternoon at 3pm, to find that our room had not been serviced. I called room service and housekeeping promptly arrived but took over 1.5 hours to clean the room and we had to make ourselves scarce. Due to the rain, the rooftop was closed so we were forced to sit in reception with two tired children. There was also no turndown service which is an expectation at a five star hotel charging over $1000 per night. At check-out, when our car arrived to take us to the airport, our bags had mysteriously disappeared and were found in a cupboard. No words. Unfortunately the hotel has no soul and the staff are just going through the mechanics. Guests are not made to feel special, you are nothing more than a number and I kept getting asked my name and room number. This doesn't happen at the BHH! We were also charged $700 for a transfer from the airport to the hotel when we agreed to pay $400 which is already ridiculously high. The driver tried to claim that our flight arrived an hour late, which was a bare faced lie. The hotel did kindly refund the difference once we gave proof of our flight arrival time. Pros New, large, clean rooms Dyson hair dryer Alexa smart room comms Large bathroom with separate toilet Complimentary hotel car within 3km radius with friendly drivers Great views over BH and rooms have large balconies Cons Housekeeping Restaurant staff. Food was average btw and expensive. Black film in bathtub Small shower and door swings the wrong way Bathroom toiletries were stingy...one small shampoo and conditioner for 4 people Uber drivers can't find the entrance Unlikely to stay here again as there are many better options.
Be the first to ReplyYou will be disappointed for the money
The room with a terrace was a good size and very clean the bed very comfortable BUT the shower was super small / water pressure adequate just - food was well below the standard of a 5 star hotel and the pricing was high. - food not fresh - if you want a grand experience there are simply better hotels
Be the first to ReplyLuxurious rooms and personal service at WA Beverly Hills
We had a fantastic stay at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria! Having been to this property multiple times to have a drink at the rooftop restaurant, this was our first time staying as guests. Needless to say, we were extremely excited. We pulled into the valet and were immediately assisted with our car as well as our luggage. We were checked in by Lauren who was fantastic and made us felt welcomed from the get go. Unfortunately our room was not ready at check in, so we headed to Rooftop by JG to wait. Our only complaint about the stay was that while check in was at 3pm, our room was not ready until about 5pm. Our bartender, Lilly found out about the wait, and went out of her way to really accommodate us. Huge shout out to Lilly for recovering a negative into a positive experience. The room we were assigned to was 417. The rooms were beautiful and felt luxurious. The toiletries were from Diptyque. We absolutely enjoyed the balcony and the view of Beverly Hills. We were staying the night to celebrate my girlfriends birthday, and upon entering the room we saw a small chocolate pastry wishing her a happy birthday. Overall we really enjoyed our room and the wonderful staff here at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria. The location is central to everything in Beverly Hills and just a short walk from Rodeo Drive. We really wanted to shout out Lauren and Lilly who really showed personal and great service!
Be the first to ReplyThe best in Beverly Hills
This is my favorite hotel in Beverly Hills. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. The accommodations are spacious and equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are large, the beds are comfy, the bathroom is luxurious, the closets are large, the views are nice (with a large balcony), the furniture is new, and very comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to be attentive to your needs. This feels like my home away from home whenever I visit my LA family. A definite return next year.
Be the first to ReplyMisses the mark - try Beverly Hills Hotel instead!
I used to love this place but they have really fallin off. My last stay on July 2nd was the last straw for me. For $1k - $5k per night hotel there are bunch better options in Beverly Hills. If you are reading this trying to decide which option to choose - I would go Beverly Hills hotel or Bel Air Hotel - depending on what you are looking for - and then look to the Edition hotel and the Peninsula and 4 Seasons before coming back to WA. Iāll tell you why and tell you about some of the amenities WA offers and what actually occurs. 1. Service level - supposed to be 5 star. Upon arrival I was told that my room wasnāt ready unless I wanted to spend another $1500 for a room upgrade. I intended on upgrading my room and called an hour before I arrived to tell them this - however despite that fact I could book the next room up on my phone at that exact moment- the front desk insisting he couldnāt do that and I needed to double my spend. When I showed him the availability of the room I desired he bag an to argue with me. It made no sense and the guy couldnāt keep his story straight. It was quite embarrassing having to argue with the front desk at an establishment such as this. 2. Small dog stay - we spent an $200 for a small dog fee which was to include a bed and food/water bowl. Since the bell hop didnāt bring the dog supplies up, we were told by the bell that he would return with our dog supplies immediately. I gave him a $20 tip which I feel is reasonably generous tip. That didnāt happen. We called in and reminded them we were still waiting and needed it promptly. We got ready for dinner and 90 minutes later we needed to leave for a night out and realized no one ever came with the supplies. We had to call again and were told they would come up with it. Another 20 minutes later no one had arrived so we had to call a 3rd time and at this point we were late for our dinner reservation but we were not going to leave our dog with no food or water for the night. Eventually it arrived and I didnāt tip the guy and he was visibly disappointed. How much extra am I supposed to tip after I tipped $20 and had to ask 3 times for this? 3. Concierge on the app - super cool idea. They help you with āwhateverā you need just by using the Hilton app. However most of the time we had to follow up after my message āhi just following up on thisā. Last time we were here at the WA the same thing happened and they were unable to get us reservations stating the restaurant was filling committed but I was able to open my open table and there was a table available and I booked it that way. This time is was a similar story where I asked about reservations but this time they didnāt even bother to reply at all. So donāt count on the concierge to be getting you into any fine dining you canāt just get yourself on open table. 4. House car- This is one of my favorite features of the hotel they have a brand new rolls Royce phantom to take you to dinner in. However whenever I tried to book I was told it was already booked. When you go down to valet and ask they tell you to book it through the concierge but when i did that I was told itās booked until 10pm that night. How is it being booked when no one can book it? They only take people max 3 miles from the hotel so for the car to be booked from 6 to 1030 solid they would have to have 27 different booking already. Maybe there was I donāt know, or Maybe there is a secret way to do that now that was different from last time. Who knows. 5. Room upgrade with Diamond membership - when I went to cabo Waldorf last year when I arrived they greeted me with a cocktail and a free room upgrade as explained as a feature of a hilton diamond membership. And I am reminded often in my emails why I should keep paying my American Express fee and how great all these extras are fro being a honors member. However at BH WA, if I didnāt remind them every time it wouldnāt happen and then on this time even asking for it wasnāt enough. He had to argue with me about it front of other guests. They need to change their marketing to say that you get this extra as an honor member but only if you are ready to make a big fuss and look like an a-hole in front of other guests. At a 5star hotel this should be handled discretely and in advance. 6 - pool and jacuzzi - they have a beautiful pool and jacuzzi on the roof but it closes at 7pm and we couldnāt use it. And the checkout is at 11am so you donāt have any chance to use it unless you stay for multiple nights since itās only for hotel guests. I called them and asked them for an late check out so we go to the pool and get lunch ($200 lunch usually easy) but they said I had to pay for a half night stay to get a late checkout (which is also included in my honor membership). At this point I was so frustrated with them I argued with them and told them itās included for me as a diamond member and they obliged to a 1pm but not a 4pm checkout despite that I was simply extending the Check out to go spend money there and I checked - they had available rooms the next day they werenāt fully booked. (I get it if they are fully booked). At BHH they pretty much always give me a 4pm checkout. 7. The food - the rooftop restaurant has a beautiful view - itās really nice - however the food is not good. Itās about 2-3x the price of a nice restaurant ($35 per cocktail) and I have yet to have a delicious cocktail or entree on the rooftop. I havenāt tried to the downstairs restaurant though. It might be great. I do still like going you just have to know you are going only for the view. Service isnāt bad. Itās like Disneyland or something where the food isnāt good but you like the attraction so you just kinda put up with it. Thereās always tables available at the downstairs JG when Iāve been even on very busy weekends so I doubt itās that great. But who knows. Iām contrast the Beverly Hills hotel and bel air hotel both has amazing cocktails and food. Iām out of time but I think you get the idea! Happy travels!
Be the first to ReplyPure LUXURY that is GENUINE!
The team at WABH is truly one of a kind! From check in with valet, concierge, and service at the pool we had an amazing time! The rooms are luxurious and views are unbeatable. Our highlight was Mimi and her incredibly fun and memorable service poolside. We also loved the personal touches in the room thanks to Joyce. We had our little dog Asher with us and they treated him like a VIP guest as well. Very impressed. The service was luxurious and so genuine! Very much appreciate all who make this hotel very special.

My wife and I had a short three day, two night stay here over a weekend in June this year. We fell in love with this hotel and want to be back in a bad way. Anytime we're in LA we'll prioritize staying here. The Room: We had a room on the third floor, facing south towards downtown LA. We didn't have that much to look at aside from the Peninsula Hotel and Santa Monica Boulevard, with a hazy LA skyline a few miles away. That's about the only negative things I can say about the room. What a treat of a room. Beautifully designed with classical touches, it felt elegant and special. The ceilings were high, the decor was attractive, the bed was super comfy, the Alexa connection for opening blinds or shutting off lights was handy, the closet was huge, and turndown service was great. I loved getting up early (EST timezone) and having a coffee on the balcony and then taking a shower in the huge bathroom. The Grounds: It's a city hotel, so there isn't that much in the way of "grounds" but the location and facilities were just fantastic. The pool on the top floor was great, free sunscreen, attentive servers, warm water, amazing views. The actual hotel entrances were grand and impressive. The lobby fireplace was nice! The Food: We had breakfast two mornings at Jean-George, which was pretty ok - a little pricey for the quality of food in my opinion. Not poor quality, mind you, just a little much for what you get. Had dinner at Jean -George on the first night there. Food was again pretty good, very expensive, and service was not entirely up to par with JG in NYC. I guess because it's a hotel restaurant and not a stand-alone? Food at the roof deck (also by JG) was pretty similar, but the service was better up there (which is weird a bunch of the staff works at both restaurants). We had some unfortunate mishaps with the concept of "no spicy ingredients" being interpreted as "chili flakes aren't spicy" when the food came out. Helpful waiters though and quick corrections. The Staff: The staff here really really seem to care. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and a joy to be around. We had drinks at the rooftop, and our server from a previous night recognized us and stopped by to say hi. The front door folks were super great and helpful with bags and car doors. The pool folks were super great as well. I felt really cared for while here. The drivers of the house cars were super professional. In Summary: Stay here because you're close to fun stuff, you have beautiful rooms, great food, and can get driven around in a Rolls.

Great hospitality from Valet through housekeeping staff members. My own personal concierge was very attentive and answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. The valet staff was very polite and treated my family and I with respect even though we only have an old Rav4.
Be the first to ReplyThe Hilton Antidote
The Waldorf in Beverly Hills, and I imagine Waldorf's and probably Conrad's in general, are the Bizarros of the Hilton universe, in a good way. Whereas Hilton properties are normally shabby, the Waldorf was elegant and well maintained. Whereas the staff at Hilton properties are neglectful at best and surly at worst, Waldorf's staff were attentive, warm, and accommodating. The two nights here this past weekend on free night certificates for the Waldorf's lowest-end standard room were far far superior to the best suites stayed at any other Hilton properties from my very extensive history with the Hilton brand. Special thank you to Tylor at the front desk, who texted me as soon as the reservation was made to kindly offer a king bed room instead of the 2-queen bed room that is normally offered for these certificates.

We took a Memorial Day weekend getaway to the West Coast and had the great privilege to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. We've stayed at other WAs around the world, and this one is comparable. Great location. Beautiful property. Spacious rooms. You definitely feel "special" when you stay here. Great dinner on top of the hotel. Delicious breakfast in the morning. If you get the chance, stay here!

Well first impressions do count! 1. I booked a pick up from the airport through the hotel. It wasn't there to collect me and when I rang the driver I was told to make my way out to the road and wait there - which i did, I waited, and then eventually the driver came past. 2. I got to the hotel, no member of staff offered to help with my luggage - they didn't even smile. 3. As. a diamond member I'd been offered a e -upgrade, which was paid for, they didn't tell me as I checked in that had happened - but it was for a quiet room on a higher floor 4. The room was noisy - a rooftop bar opposite - I went down to ask for a room on the other side of the hotel - they said they didn't have one but would try to sort it the next day - they never did. 5. the bed is lumpy - like a milliion people have slept on it So I decided to cut my 6 nights at the WA down to 2. I checked out. I found the hotel vibe is uncomfortable and unfriendly. The good points - the two stars are for staff members Rachenda and David who were kind and helpful. There is no need to be so sterlile in your service just because you are high end! I won't be back.

Been looking forward to staying here for awhile and this WA property mostly delivered. First the negatives: Check-in was less than ideal. I was hoping to PAY for an upgrade to a better room but was told the hotel was "booked full" even though online showed plenty of rooms being available. There just seemed to be a lack of confidence at the front desk on how to do this, however after arriving at our room I noticed it was not the one I had picked on online check-in and faced south instead of Beverly Hills like I had picked. The central concierge on the phone was able to fix when I reminded them I was more than happy to pay for an upgraded room. All of this wasted one hour of our time at check-in when it should have been a more seamless check-in for a WA (I was literally waiting downstairs for half an hour to sign the paperwork for the paid upgrade...). Dinner at JG was good however the food didn't seem to agree with us that night for some reason... Service on the Rooftop for a nightcap was quite good, however it was annoying that as a hotel guest, the tables with a view were for people dining and there was no view if you were sitting at the bar. For the room, it was a little annoying you had to call for an ironing board and iron as well as a steamer. Furthermore, the iron and steamer were frankly very cheap (Black and Decker) for the caliber of this hotel so it would be nice if they'd invested on higher quality ones because they did not work very well. The iPad of our room kept malfunctioning so it seemed more of a hassle and Alexa was very limited on what it could do. Now for what made this WA great: Housekeeping was really on point with turn down service ,cleaning, and stocking room amenities. Also the staff that mans the concierge phone line if you have any issues or request were extremely top notch and knew how to handle virtually and request with a friendly can-do attitude. Valet and front door staff were very friendly and fast. The young man who was working the pool was extremely friendly, remembering us from multiple days and always checking in to make sure we were happy. Views from the hotel were amazing and the rooms were extremely well appointed. Overall it was a very good stay but fell short of being amazing.
