Worst service I've ever experienced. A group of us came here for my best friend's birthday. Initially we went to a table in the back and ordered drinks. After we finished the first round of drinks, some of the people in our group wanted to check out the scene at the bar that's up at the front. Not thinking anything of it, several of us went over to the bar- for a brief moment (while two of the people in our group stayed at the table). We were planning on coming right back to our table. We had only been over at the bar for 5 minutes before our waiter came up to us saying "no one is sitting at your table anymore, and I would really like to make some money tonight" with this statement there was also a subtle, but clear, insinuation that he thought we were going to dine and dash. Even though when I walked back over to our table one of our friends was still sitting at our table. I guess they had gone to the bathroom while we were up? Well maybe if the waiter had been paying any attention to our table he would have noticed that being the case. Instead he chose to create a dramatic, unnecessary situation. If he had just played it cool and not immediately freaked out everything would have been fine and he would have made his money, but by being presumptuous and rude he didn't make any tips. Self fulfilling prophecy. I don't pay for attitude boo. When we, in a calm and respectful manner, called him out for his behavior HE, instead of having an adult conversation with us, immediately pulled a Karen said he would send the manager over and abruptly turned and left the table. No one in the group wanted it to go there, but there we were... 20 minutes passed and the manager finally appeared at our table. We explained the situation and he apologized and said he would send a complementary birthday dessert for my friend to make up for the trouble. Get this. When this "special" dessert arrived it's just three pitiful scoops of plain vanilla ice cream. The saddest apology dessert I've ever seen. It seriously felt like a joke he was pulling on us! Well! We look over to where the manager and the rude, instigating waiter were standing (huddled in the corner) and talking. We saw them glance several times at us and they were clearly snickering at my friends and I. It made a bad situation worse. For the rest of the night ALL the servers ignored us and didn't bother to get drinks for us that we wanted to order. My friend's boyfriend finally had to get up and get a server to give us our bill. We still would have been sitting there if he didn't- I'm sure. This is supposed to be a classy spot, but instead of professionalism we were forced to interact with a manager and a waiter who were the embodiments of vindictive, petty children. This isn't a cool kids club- it's just another wine bar restaurant. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE BOO.

My son found this restaurant before our trip to Los Angeles and was really excited by the charcuterie. We went for lunch and it did not disappoint. We arrived without a reservation, and they were still able to seat us outside. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. The drinks were good and my son was very happy to see that they had some non-alcoholic cocktails. The waiter helps us pick out the meats and cheeses for the charcuterie and it was delicious. That was all we ate so I can't comment on the other food items but our neighbors food looked really good also. We will definitely go back to this place when we return to LA. Highly recommend.

Does my have to be my new spot for me and my girlfriends to go to to catch up drink some wine eat some food and just have a overall experience. The food was amazing. The wine we had was just oh my so good. The people there were so friendly, but wait time wasn't that much of a way because you can go to the bar and order your wine and talk to your friends while waiting for your table so that was great. Overall great experience definitely coming back with the girlfriend again..

I'm posting this review for both the "main" location and the BH storefront because that's where I placed an order to pick up from.I ordered 2 items online on a Sunday, and my card was charged the next day. Their order confirmation page says I'd get an email when the order was ready to pick up, which I had selected to be the BH location.A week later I haven't heard anything, so I called both the main customer service line and the BH location. No answer at either. Called back again to customer service, someone finally picks up and said that BH was having a special event and that's why they might not have picked up. But they see my order, they will check on it and get back to me... nobody does.Several days later I call both locations again. BH tells me somebody particular has to check on pickup orders and they're not in, they'll call me back. Customer service doesn't pick up, so I leave a message. No calls back from either.Several days later I try again, exact same thing. So I also email Wally's at the customer service address listed, and submit an inquiry through the webpage with specific info about my order (order #, date and items purchased, etc). No response.I call customer service one more time a couple days later and get a snarky person answering who transfers me to a voicemail while I can tell she's rolling her eyes. At this point I decide to call my credit card to dispute the charge, because it's pretty clear they're not looking to fulfill the order. They pull up the transaction and say that Wally's has actually canceled the charge on their end, meaning they canceled my order but never bothered to tell me about it.The funniest part is that shortly after that, I get an automated email from Wally's saying Thank you so much for your order, we hope you enjoyed it and if you have any feedback please reply to this email and let us know. I write them back listing out all the same info and expressing my frustration. The next day I got a bounce-back email saying my message couldn't be delivered... sounds about right.Definitely won't be ordering from them again.

I purchased a futures order for 2018 vintage Boudreaux and man what a hassle trying to get the product I paid for. Finally in 2023 (nearly 4 years since original order) and after numerous follow up efforts on my part I have my wine. At no time did the business reach out to me and I believe if I had not reached out to them, I'd still be waiting. After being told the wine was not in I did a quick search on their website and lo and behold, I see the same wine being sold for twice what I paid for it four years ago. When I mentioned this, they tell me my wine is actually in and they'd be happy to ship it to me. I buy lots of wine on futures and totally get that it takes a couple years to receive the product but this experience has been among the longest wait and worst customer experience...the worst being Premier Cru in Berkely (do an internet search for more details on that fiasco) and unfortunately my Wally's experience is eerily reminiscent. I will not be doing business with Wally's again.

$100.00 chicken ? Trust me it is worth it every penny. From appetizers to cocktails to entries and wines selection ... perfection the portions are big. We ordered the truffle lentil soup which is Amazing, the Purple and Blue Salad and of course the Million Dollars Truffle chicken .... Ducking amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Security guard is a jerk and hit on me and when I dismissed him, he had the restaurant refuse to sit me at a table after waiting 45 mins. Tamara was rude to me when I approached her about getting a text that our table was ready and when I questioned her why she was ignoring me, she mentioned to me that the security guard has instructed them not to sit my party. I asked to speak with the manager and his name was Marcello, when I spoke with him, he wouldn't even allow me to proceed with my concern and rudely as well as abruptly advised he is the GM the of the establishment and he chooses to not sit us at our table. This is sexual harassment as well as major discrimination in every kind you can imagine. I have never ever been treated like this in my life from a prestigious restaurant. I will be contacting headquarters as well as never returning to this low class establishment that Allows an overweight aggressive security guard to sexually harass a guest and be rewarded for it. This is gross negligence and must be addressed. Shame on this place!!!

The issue I have was that I was told I could not be there due to their dress code. I was wearing a very expensive sleeveless sweater vest and jeans. The sleeveless sweater vest was the issue. Mind you I had been inside the establishment for hours at the point someone had told me. As well, proceeded to watch women with exposed bellies, chests and bikin style tops walk right in. I get the clientele there is f**k boy men wearing all designer labels but it's 2022 and if an establishment is going to enforce a dress code it cannot be different for genders. I was better dressed and more put together than half the people in the restaurant. A man cannot have exposed shoulders yet women can have their breasts, bellies and ass out. Got it. Sounds pretty homophobic to me. Truly disappointing.

I had an incredible--and an incredibly memorable--meal here that l'll be talking about for quite some time. Why? Not just because the food was excellent, but because it's probably the most dog-friendly restaurant I've ever been to; meaning the waitstaff & the clientele AND the passersby. It's definitely a "clubstaurant," but it's beautiful, the quality of everything was excellent, portions were huge, and I would VERY gladly come back again. Separate from my amazing 10pm dinner experience, this is very obviously a legendary institution in terms of being an actual wine store, and I truly envy those who get to utilize this massive shop as their local bottle stop.

Such a nice place with excellent service and elegant crowd, service was top notch and our server was by our table checking on us the entire time, food was really good and delicious it's been a while since we had really good food after the pandemic. Only thing I wished they changed was the reservations, they don't take reservations only walk ins and the entire party had to all be there before anyone could get seated. Overall great place and will be back for sure

Profiling and discrimination have never been more obvious in Any establishment in this area. I'm not sure where this came from and when this started. I used to love this restaurant. It's either the management or the little brunette troll in the front that takes all Latinos, blacks and middle easterns who don't appear white or wealthy enough and they sit them down the sidewalk and away from the entrance. It's a shame this is happening at what used to be such a nice place to go. I'm sure Wally's will continue to thrive regardless, but it's very disturbing to see the happening on an organized level.

At 4:30 we were told we couldn't sit at the communal tables unless we ordered dinner, and that If we did and someone came we'd be kicked out. Comes from the top...this place has gone way down hill. Won't be going back. There's a million restaurants in LA. Do better

Most people just want to be seen and say I have been to Wally's in Beverly Hills. I had to wait for a drink where the bartender was flirting with women and having shots with them and acting as if he could not see me. After drink I tried to give him my credit card and the same thing I was ignored, later he comes over to me and at my table and tells me that he will have me kicked out if I tried not to pay. After I paid him I noticed that he had charged me twice for one drink. Left a message for the manager to call me......I am still waiting.

I really enjoyed this place. The vibe was mellow and the decoration with all their wine bottles was amazing. The baked Brie was delicious. I was amazed by the selection of wine, charcuterie, and cheese. The mains were lacking a bit though. The lentils were good but nothing special. The pasta was lacking a bit of flavor. The burger was good but I was expecting more. The service was great though. I really enjoyed but I would definitely try different mains next time or just go for wine, charcuterie, and cheese.

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
