a very expensive bar
Went to Wallyโs for an early dinner and overall, itโs a good place to have early drinks before a lot of the restaurants open, but the prices are extremely expensive. Sitting at the bar or in the front tables is a good place for people watching. Everybody coming into and out of Resorts World goes through there. The interior decor with all the wine bottles is very chic and upscale. There are a lot of large tables for groups to visit after a conference or bachelor party. The wine list is quite expensive. A single glass of Duckhorn wine is $39. With tax and tip thatโs almost $50 when you can buy a bottle of that wine at CVS for less. 300 to 400% markup even for Las Vegas the prices is obscene. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. I opted for the truffle pizza based on online reviews, and it was $30. Presentation was messy and they put the shaved truffles on top of the arugula so the truffles couldnโt melt and you didnโt get the nuttiness you're supposed to when you mix truffles into pasta or eggs. Overall, itโs a nice bar, but I would only go here with an expense account. There are better bars in Resorts World with better views.

We had a reservation across from Wally's @ Viva. Too noisy for us old folks. We walked over to Wally's without a reservation, and they accommodated us. Very nice, especially the Server, and the Sommelier. Filet was great, and wife liked her dish? Would recommend!
Be the first to ReplyWally's is the spot
2nd visit to Wally's and it was just as good as the first. The drinks here are amazing as well. I highly recommend the spicy marg here! Good spot for a drink and few apps before hitting the tables!
Be the first to ReplyToo "hip" for us
Maybe this place is better for dinner or late nights, but we stopped here for lunch while staying at Resorts World. This place has LOTS of wine and spirits - I guess you could really spend a lot on drinks and maybe that's a draw. My husband just wanted a beer at lunch and they had about 3 available, so go somewhere for beer. It's a nice looking place, but it's somewhat "hip" and maybe oriented toward a younger crowd. We sat at a long counter-height table, with another couple sat at the other end (so they were two seat away from us). They have a massive charcuterie list with tons of different cheeses; if we had been in a charcuterie mood, this would have been great. But we opted to go for the spicy salami pizza and the Caesar salad. Note: I found the menu to be all over the place - lots of choices, but it seemed somewhat haphazard/not cohesive. The pizza was alright, but the sauce was way sweeter than we expected - the menu noted "honey" on the pizza but we thought it was too much. The Caesar salad was, um, interesting: it was served in a bowl with a bunch of romaine lettuce leaves standing up in the middle bound by "croutons" that were basically very thin slices of garlicky bread that formed a ring around the base of the romaine lettuce. One of those situations where it looks cool, but is kind of a pain to eat because you have to disassemble the lettuce tower and chop those up, break up the bread pieces, and stir the rest of the salad (because all the dressing was at the bottom). We really wanted to eat our salad without all the work. And it wasn't even that great of a Caesar salad! Service was average; prices are high. Music was too loud. But I guess it might be a great place to get drinks and snacks.
Be the first to ReplyA little overpriced
We wanted to have a nice meal, with just the two of us,so we decided on Wally's . We have been to Vegas many times before, but somehow the service ,we were so used to,have gone down! This is the 2nd high priced restaurant where we felt, the waiter was annoyed, that we were there,no smiles,no ..nice to see you, no nothing! Just a stare, and not a nice one! The baguette with brie was nice The lambshank was great The $99 steak was average The $75 bottle of rosรฉ, was nice The capucinno i ordered was yak The Irish coffee we ordered, looked like nothing we ever had before,a coffee, with a small glass with some sort of liquer in it,not Jameson whisky,no whipped cream. We wanted to say something to the waiter, but we only saw him ,when hรฉ put the bill on the table, and by then,we were so done with him,so we said lets just pay and go. The dinner for two moment was somewhat ruined by then anyhow. We have been here for 15 days ,this is our last day,but had we been here longer,we would not go back for a second time. Very expensive and a waiter with a nasty stare, not good.
Be the first to ReplyLost me as a customer.
Good food and drinks, but the owner assaults the patrons with Hip Hop and Rap "music" making the dining experience VERY unpleasant. I will never return so long as that annoying "music" remains. I am certain the owner thinks it's cool, but he has lost this very deep pocketed customer his poor choice of "music".
Be the first to ReplyLots of wine choices, but on the expensive side
We went for a quick bite before attending an event. There were empty tables all over the place, but we still had to wait for 15 minutes?? Probably not enough help? Service was good --- but 10 minutes before anyone showed up at the table to take our order. More of a charcuterie place -- they have a lot of choices. We had a choice of 5 for $48. Everything on the board was good - but wouldnt say anything exceptional. Rest of menu was expensive -- $35 for a burger?? Discovered the food court after - that looked really good with lots of choices and it was packed. If you are super into wines - I would recommend you go.

We stopped for a late breakfast early lunch. They were completely full but said we could sit at the bar and order so we did. Bartender was great food was amazing. Will definitely be back.
Be the first to ReplyLA Wine Bar And Restaurant In Vegas
Celebrated LA area upscale restaurant noted for its almost endless selections of wines from all across the globe. This is the Las Vegas edition in the Resorts World complex. Not an inexpensive dining experience by far. Note that they offer caviar by the weight. But when many other sit down eateries don't open until later, Wally's opens at 10, 9 on weekends. There are ways of cutting the expense here. They do offer sandwiches. Or you can share a pizza. But note that the truffle fries are above $22 (depends on the time of day). Of course, if you're on holiday or expense account you might be able to tolerate the price points. So don't let the cost detract from your vacation experience. Maybe, go for it! With some discretion.
Be the first to ReplyGreat selection of wines by glass as well as bottles. Great bartenders.
Heard about their extensive wine list. Dropped in for a glass of wine at the bar before the Katy Perry show. . Huge selections of terrific wines from modest to super expensive. Your opportunity to try. Premier Cru Montrachet!. I had a glass of Sancerre. Best part, the bartender was super helpful in finding the right wine for my taste. I recommend sitting at the bar. There is a food menu as well .
Be the first to ReplyGreat Yogurt Granola bowl but slow service and high prices
We stopped for a quick breakfast because the other places in resorts world had gigantic lines. It was not quick but we did have the best yogurt granola bowl weโve ever had. That along with the fruit bowl was exceptional. Also has excellent fresh orange juice. Our service started well but then our waiters disappeared and it took a long time to get the bill paid. It has communal tables and prices are high. The people at the end of our table had numerous problems with their rather simple order being messed up again and again.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful visit of wine and caviar
I wanted to check out Wally's the moment I knew it was at the new Resorts World. We were in town for the Wine Spectator grand tasting, so our first visit would not have included buying wine. This is a retail wine store as well as a restaurant (in case you don't realize that standing out front). The staff was great talking to us even though we were not going to buy then. The prices per bottle on the shelves were quite reasonable considering that this is a place in a big, new resort in Vegas. If you can find a wine in your local wine shop, you don't want to buy that wine here. This is a place to chase down some rare and hard to get wines and enjoy them on site or at your room. Yes, they have some wines at an eye-watering price, but where would you ever see Harlan or Screaming Eagle by the glass? When we came back from our tasting, we had specific wines we were now trying to buy and the same friendly staff helped us. We ended up having some amazing caviar and enjoying the ambiance.
Be the first to ReplyDissappointing breakfast
I am not sure how you can screw up a breakfast, but at my recent visit to Wallys at Resort World I found out how it can be done. Service was slow on a not so busy day, and it took well over 25 minutes to get our food after ordering (eggs/crepes). I had to remind our waiter of our order as he seemed to be a bit distracted while talking endlessly to one of his colleagues. Once the food did arrive, it was luke warm. Another long wait to get our check and finally we were free-We went to another restaurant immediately afterward to have a much better meal. If you are looking for a nice experience and good food/service, I would not go to Wally's as there are so many better choices in Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyAnother great food but insulting price restaurant at Resorts World
We snacked here twice and while we loved the food and lively atmosphere, the wine prices were so are-you-sh%$%ing-me insanely high that I was just laughing. $35 for a GLASS of $20/bottle wine is a total FU from the hotel. If you want to try a rare and expensive wine, it's probably worth a visit once...where else can you buy a $1300 glass of Screaming Eagle wine!? :)
Be the first to ReplyCasual, but classy
Food and service were top notch! Location was convenient if you are in Resorts World and need a bite to eat in a casual, but classy atmosphere. Iโd eat here again to try the different menu items.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food with a unique flare
Good food & helpful staff. We sat out on the โpatioโ section, which was fine, however for a dinner that nice, the interior was much more suited to the type of dining experience that it was. The patio section is fairly loud & gives Iโm what should be nice a more casual feel. The food was unique & well prepared. Our sever allowed me to sample a couple of wines before selecting the one I wished to order. We would dine here again but next time would request to be seated inside the restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I tried this new establishment in the Newly opened Resort World and found it interesting.
My wife and I tried this new establishment in the Newly opened Resort World and found it interesting. They do not serve any beer. They serve mainly wine by the glass and bottle and they tend to be very expensive. The cheese board and charcuterie board were ok and depending on the cheese or items selected the price went up. The sandwiches were rather pricey even for LV and we passed. We would not try this Resturant again. We know of far better and time tested restaurants in LV.
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere and design
Went here with some colleagues (3 of us) as we were in Vegas for a conference. The place is screaming busy but once you check in and use the Vegas handshake, our wait for a table went from 1hr to 5 mins :-)
We started with a charcuterie board (a must) The duck liver pate is excellent, and their cheese selection is beyond impressive.
Wallys is a wine bar so don't be a wally and try and order a beer!
We had the burgers for entree (very good) but dont come here for the burgers. I'd do the Steak frites next time. They have an item called "Hundred Dollar Chicken" which I'm not sure I'd order!
The menu is extensive and adventurous. This is a great wine bar and I would use it as such and just come here for drinks and their amazing cheeses and charcuterie boards.
poor initial visit
dined for breakafast. few patrons. Food served was not hot..toast cold and crepes lookwarm. Had to wait 15 min for bill as server was telling personal stories to table next to us, OBLIVIOUS to us waiting.
Poor service and poor management. On plus side, hostess and very ample cleavage ( very) revealing skintight black top.
Wallyโs at Resort world direct from Beverly Hills!
Super fantastic service and food!
I love the Wallys in Beverly Hills and found out there was one in Las Vegas I was absolutely thrilled and not disappointed wallys Las vegas is 100%!
Bad
We had 2 mimosa and it was 35.00 and then the waiter did not give me my change. What a rip off. I hate when the waiter thinks he can keep my change. Would not recommend for that reason. He knew nothing about the menu. I wanted a bloody Mary and said he was not sure if the have them. What the heck. Know where you work.
Be the first to ReplyDonโt miss Wallyโs!
We stopped by for dessert and it was DELICIOUS!! Peaches and Cream and the deconstructed Chocolate Caramel Cream Puff were so incredibly satisfying! We will come back for dinner next time (โฆand probably more dessert!)
