Wow, French Toast
Jane was packed for Brunch, but we had a reservation so we were seated right away. Our waitress was amazing, excellent recommendations. The food was delicious ( avocado toast, omelette, eggs Benedict and The French Toast, mimosas and more) The overall experience was great! We highly recommend this restaurant.

The French toast is a must-try and the classic egg Benedict we ordered comes with buttermilk biscuits below the poached eggs. It's so damn delicious and the service is brilliant. Perf place to have brunch in downtown Manhattan!
Be the first to ReplyThe best place for brunch in all of Manhattan!
I’ve spent a fair amount of time at Jane over the last six months. Without a doubt, Jane is the best brunch place in Manhattan. Everything is superb, to include the service, drinks, food, and general ambience. No other place I found in Manhattan meets all these criteria every single time!

Jane is the perfect place for brunch on a beautiful day. Outside tables and friendly staff. Delicious food too. Highly recommend getting a reservation well ahead of time!
Be the first to ReplyBest Brunch I've Experienced
Two days ago, my wife and I dined at the Jane Restaurant at 100 West Houston St. I must admit that it was the best brunch we’ve experienced in several decades. The staff was spectacular and helpful, the drinks were strong and well-crafted, and the food was perfect; I had the most flavorful omelette I’ve ever tasted. As we left the restaurant, we decided to become regulars. Wow!

Most definitely one of the best brunch places in new york city...it lies in a quite cornet of the city..small and inviting...very nice vibe of the place...
we started with a glass of fresh orange juice and meatballs...the meatballs with spicy garlic bread were fantastic with an amazing tomato sauce...
the vanilla bean french toast was the best that i have eaten...the bread was moist ...the chicken sausages were decent nothing spectacular ...
fantastic brunch in an awesome weather...
Great Atmosphere and a Nice Meal
We booked at very short notice by phone this was maybe 19:00 and we were accommodated just fine. Staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. This is a good mid range restaurant not overly flamboyant just a nice place to eat and chat with friends. Food was nice and portions fine. two people, two courses, two G&Ts and two glasses of Cabernet total $130 +tip.
Would visit again if in the area
Yummy food and great service!
I have visited Jane four times now and the food and service are always consistent and wonderful. My favorite is the Gnocchi. The cocktails are lovely also. Thank you for never letting me down! Love this restaurant!

Food was fine. Service was poor. Tables were not clean. Staff seemed huddled in small groups. Impression was of a place that is poorly managed.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday at 12:15 and made the reservation through Open Table. They gave us the booth in the back corner which was quite spacious and good since we had an unexpected fifth friend join us. The waitress was quick to take our orders and consistently refilled our waters. I got the ham popover which had gruyere cheese along with a side salad. The popover was flakey and warm. It was a decent size for brunch but if you’re hungry, you might want to also get a side. We ordered a plate of fries to share for the table and that was a good move. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The bathrooms are located downstairs to the left. It was pretty crowded but you could also sit at the bar where it’s first-come, first-serve. They let us split the bill with five cards and there’s a tablet thing alongside the bill where you could fill out a survey on your experience. Overall it’s a decent brunch spot and it’s close to the Morgensterns so you could get a quick dessert afterwards.
