Wilma & Frieda's Palm Springs Reviews from The Last Year
Poor service and subpar food.
Asked to have table wiped because it was sticky and they said they would come back and wipe it, never did. Waiters walked by as we had to wipe it ourselves with napkins and water. Ordered the pulled pork omelette and French toast and it was lukewarm, but tasted okay. Had to ask 3 different staff for the check before we were able to get it. Overall food was half decent, but the poor service alone would not have me coming back
Great food !!!! They have the Best breakfast, good service
Great food !!!! They have the Best breakfast, good service and nice staff. Long wait times but well worth it !! Enjoy! The enchiladas are amazing
This restaurant is pretty cute and easily accessible in
This restaurant is pretty cute and easily accessible in downtown Palm Springs. My food was good, I got a sundried chicken sandwich. However, for $20, I was expecting to be blown away. It's a good option, but if you're a foodie like me, it was a little underwhelming.
Really great food.
I ordered a steak salad and my 16 year old son said it was the best he had ever had! Service was very quick and friendly. We sat outside and were very comfortable. Overall I would definitely return!
The line is so long, after waiting that long I got raw hash
The line is so long, after waiting that long I got raw hash browns and a burnt English muffin. The iced coffee was awful, thankfully they didn't charge us for that. Definitely a tourist trap restaurant that isn't actually putting out good food
Amazing food and great customer service would definitely
Amazing food and great customer service would definitely recommend this place and visit in Palm Springs
Food is amazing.
This is one of our favorite places in town. I've had blackberry French toast and the banana caramel French toast. Both highly recommend. Staff is great!
We spent a lovely weekend in Palm Springs and started
We spent a lovely weekend in Palm Springs and started looking on yelp for places to enjoy a good breakfast right in the heart of Palm Springs downtown area. This restaurant has a great location and there is tons to see around it within walking distance. There is free parking in a small parking area across the street, if is full you can parking on the streets. Our hotel was within walking distance so we didn't have to worry about that. You can virtually join their wait list which is always a plus for me. Service was great and friendly, food portions big, and prices average for a typical nice and touristy place. My son's favorite was the blackberry pop tart they make. The blackberry French toast he ordered was very good and not super sweet. I ordered yeh zucchini spirals with eggs and that was not very good. The zucchini spirals were mushy and very bland, eggs were just fine. My mom ordered the chicken sausage, tomato, and goat cheese omelet and she liked it very much but her potatoes were soggy and not cooked all the way. The views of this restaurant are great and you definitely pay for the location and vibes. This review is a bit late but never too late.
Beautiful brunch on one of their cute verandas overlooking
Beautiful brunch on one of their cute verandas overlooking Main Street. All 4 of us were thrilled with our lunch and bfast choices. They were pretty slammed so a bit slow, but was not a problem.
Location and atmosphere is what you are paying for here in
Location and atmosphere is what you are paying for here in my opinion. The food is average a bit expensive for what it is. I got the filet mignon with eggs. And the steak was very difficult to cut with lots of tendons. The steak at least was cooked perfectly. My sister got Christmas enchiladas & those were good, at least the green sauce ones, personally I'm not a fan of red sauce enchiladas. Then my mom got the tritip Benedict. The meat was good, but eggs had runny whites. I also asked my for eggs to be over medium but one of my egg yolks cracked and cooked all the way through, and the other also had runny whites when its gross. So food was okay... but service was good. We had a waiter who was really patient & nice so I appreciated that with them being crowded for Mother's Day. Overall I'd try again maybe on a less busy day & where the temperature isn't 100 degrees because majority of the seating is outside.
Incredible Food. Nice views
We arrived as soon as they opened. The coffees were perfect. She had the Caramel French Toast. I had a Build My Own Scramble with the biscuit. Couldn't ask for better.
Breakfast
Highly recommend. Two locations. Both great. We enjoyed the food and service. We have been here a few times and will be back of course.
Palm Springs Best Breakfast. Period.
Hands down our go to spot for breakfast in Palm Springs. Big bright room with outdoor balcon looking over the strip. The staff are fabulous and the service is too. The menu is wild and expansive - but not stupidly so. The food of course is the star. Coffee is HOT - you’ve been warned. Never a miss. Love love love this place.
The Place to Go for Breakfast in Downtown Palm Springs
We visited Wilma & Frieda's the first morning we were in Palm Springs. They did such a great job, we decided to try to eat our way through the menu and returned every morning of our stay. I make my own homemade biscuits and am usually disappointed by biscuits in a restaurant, but theirs are outstanding! They are served with house made jam that really tops them off. Over the four days, we had the meat loaf and eggs, two different scrambles, JR's short rim and mozzarella scramble and a couple of other dishes that don't come to mind right now. They have outdoor seating or you can choose a nice intimate booth inside. Service was just great, as good as being in a fine dining restaurant. They're currently open for only breakfast and lunch, but anything on the menu is delicious!
A MUST for breakfast or lunch
We were in Palm Springs for 5 days and had breakfast here every day…..the food was so delicious and there were so many items on the menu that sounded so good, we wanted to try as many as possible. We loved it every day!!! My favorite was the grilled meatloaf and eggs….but everything we had was just perfect. And don’t miss out on the biscuits…..the best I’ve had outside of the south…. And if you want a little something to go, check out the house made pop tarts!! The service was consistently excellent from the wait staff to the people who poured water…..can’t say enough great things about this restaurant…..
