Brunch was very good
While the service was just OK, the food was flavorful and unique (for us) for brunch. Nice street side seating

We went to this restaurant on a recent trip to NYC. Wow! We will definitely be back.
We had the opportunity to try several different items and absolutely loved everything that we ate.
The marinated cucumbers and scallion pancakes were a great way to start!
We also loved the big chicken bun and the fly's head. The sesame noodles and zhajiangmian wavy noodles did not disappoint. I am sure that everything on the menu is amazingly delicious.
This was one of the best meals that we ever had! Definitely recommend this restaurant.
The service was excellent! The environment was comfortable.
If you are looking for a restaurant in Brooklyn, Win Son would be a great choice.
If you have room for desert consider going across the street to the Win Son bakery where the donuts and other sweets are also exceptional! (and leftovers make a great breakfast!)
Nothing on the outside, everything on the inside!!!
Small cozy and casual. Absolutely outstanding Taiwanese dishes. We had 8 of the 11 small plates and they were all delicious. The house cocktails are also creative and tasty. We will return.

Big fan of Win Son Bakery. It's one of a kind, offering Taiwanese breakfast-related items with a twist, as well as other delicious pastries and small eats. I typically enjoy traditional cuisine, but I was thoroughly impressed with what I was able to try -- both savory and sweet. Hoping to hit up everything on the menu eventually.

This is a neighborhood restaurant that is spectacular Taiwanese cuisine. Very casual dining with great service, interesting menu, very competitive prices. They do not take reservations, so recommend arriving at opening to get a seat or get your name on list for an hour wait. Recommend ordering a number of dishes and sharing.

Very good, very unique brunch. We split the sesame noodles, the turnip cake and the clams with basil. They serve the clams with a scallion pancake. Dipping the delicious pancake into the incredible sauce with tiny clams was unbelievably delicious. Tried the breakfast of champions and kenmen white lightning cocktails - both great. We weren't thinking about desert, but ended up trying the tian miantuan which was the perfect finish. When we arrived we were told around an hour wait, so we walked around the neighborhood, but ended up getting a text 20 minutes later than our table was ready. Really nice staff.

I live in the neighborhood and this is one of my regular go-to spots.
The best way I can think of describing the food? Spicy and weird.
You will get out of your comfort zone when you come here.
It is hard to get a table on weekends, it only takes reservations for groups of 5 or more. It is easier to get a table mid-week.
Best recommendation ever
We got this little gem based on a recommendation of a friend. Boy it did not disappoint. We had to wait at the bar for some time - but ended up at a sunny table outside. We loved the food, simplicity and edge of the restaurant. This spot serves smiles and creates smiles which to me is a great asset to have in a restaurant. Loved it!

This is by far the best Asian food I've had in a loooonoong time, and mind you; I'm a Asian cuisine freak. The title of the dishes are a bit tricky to understand, but the waitress was very helpful and all dishes were so good. People ordered 3-5 dishes, but we were full on 2, so start small. Go here!

I’m incredibly lucky to live right by Win Son and watch it grow. I’ve never had a bad dish there (Standouts are the chicken sandwich (trust me), the fried eggplant app, the noodle dish with the prawn, the dumplings) ... it’s gotten to be quite busy but if you show up right when dinner service starts it should be no trouble getting a table. They’re opening up a “bakery” across the street which seems to be more than just baked goods (I’ve seen mochi donuts, creative soft serve ice cream flavors, and a solid espresso bar thus far). It’s a place I love to take friends

I have eaten a lot of places but this place stands out! We ordered seven different dishes to share and each one was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy (we had over an hour wait) the wait staff was attentive, cheerful, and very helpful. It is a perfect combination of fantastic flavors, friendly staff, and reasonably priced. I will definitely come here again and again.
