Honestly pretty disappointed.
We came during long weekend and had to wait for the seat for so long since they were running out of the outdoor seat. The wine and food is crazy expensive which I guess matches the hamptons price. Overall it wasn't anything special and I've had much better wine tasting experience.

This vineyard is super popular and hard to get reservations and I can see why. It's very pretty and aesthetic, has ample space for large groups. Saw a few bachelorettes and birthdays while I was there. They offer tastings as well as glasses. I opted for the tasting which was a bit pricey in my opinion. The wines were standard and didn't really stand out. I would go back for the setting and for special occasions
Be the first to ReplyNice find while driving around the Hamptons.
Made a reservation same day and glad we were able to snag a table. The location is picture perfect and the service followed suit. Got a table outside right at the edge so had an unobstructed view of the vineyard. Tried flights of wine and all were good with the charcuterie board to munch on. I would have love to stay longer and try other wines, but sadly...didn't make a full weekend out of this trip. And since we already had lunch, didn't get to try the other food items on the menu.
Be the first to ReplyJust went here with my wife and 2 other couples.
The waiter tried to scheme us with the bill. Overcharged us $150 and didn't give a itemized bill when the check came. Manager who was the man did not apologize or offer to do anything for us. The girl manager named Margie was very apologetic but we still believe the whole bill should have been taken care of because of this. CHECK YOUR BILLS, as they thought because we were drunk we wouldn't notice.
Be the first to Replyfirst they're site stated no res, than free tour at anytime.
we drove over an hour and we wanted to sit outside but the hostess said we needed res, than we asked for a tour no tours the hostess stated. They whole experience was like we bothered her. it took 20 min to get service, we had to ask for service. truly a horrible place, its very pretty but not the time at all to drive there for all the uncomfortable feelings of no no no !!
Be the first to ReplyLove to go to the Wollfer Estate.
But as there were no reservations we decided to visit the winestand on route 27. If visiting Wolffer last minute and can't get into the tasting room. Definitely recommend visiting Josh and his amazing staff at the winestand. Josh will make you feel at home. As if you were having a glass of wine at your own backyard. Also the amazing views of the vineyard is a plus. Thank you Josh!!

Beautiful setting, delicious wine and food and exceptional service!

Absolutely disgusting attitude by both the parking lot valet/attendant followed by the "manager". Dropped off a group there and usually had no issues waiting in the parking lot while the party is inside in the past. All of a sudden they won't allow any cars to wait and the parking lot is only for the "guest". Fine, busy weekend and lot was full so as I was telling the attendant to give me a second to inform the party that I'll be waiting outside, he continues to ask me to leave. Wasn't a huge deal so after leaving the lot, my party asks me to come back to get something from the car and oh boy this is where it really went downhill. Once I returned, the lot attendant now is yelling at me that I can't stay in here to wait even after I told him that someone is coming back out to pick something up. He didn't want to hear any of that. I walked inside the establishment to find the party and he runs ahead of me to "tell" on the manager. Before she even gives me a chance to explain, she immediately tells me that I need to leave. Wow ok. After telling her multiple times I'll leave after I hand off something to someone I dropped off, she continues to tell me no cars can wait here and that if I refuse to leave, she'll be calling the cops. Really? Then some random drunk guy overhears out convo and threatens to fight me while the manager allows it and just says that she'll call the cops on me? What a ridiculous encounter and did not expect this sort of treatment at all. Just because I was not a customer, they feel that they can talk to me however they want and threaten me? This will not be the end of it.
Be the first to ReplyWe booked the $95/pp wine tour and it was worth every penny.
Our guide, Fairley, was wonderful and super knowledgeable. In the main tasting room (which is absolutely gorgeous) she walked us through three wines and the history of the winery. Outside we learned about the different types of grapes, trellising, and the agricultural process. We then took a tour of the processing area and we're able to see some of the machines in process and had questions answered by some of the staff. We finished in the cellar, where we tasted more wine while learning about the barrels and the finishing process of the wines. This was the most informative wine tour I have ever been on. I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful entrance, beautiful rustic atmosphere inside, and out! We didn't need reservations walking in. As soon as you walk in there's a cute little gift shop and you can see the winery from the window. Bathrooms at the front and with changing tables! If you ask then there is an opportunity to taste some of the available wines / gin to purchase, all you have to do is ask. There's seating forward the front and a bar as well. You can get seated outdoors. We went in February and they have heaters on! Definitely comfortable enough to take your jacket off. You can see the property lit up with lights outdoors. There's a large menu enough to have a glass of wine, mixed drink, food, flights, and things to share. It seems kid friendly, there were some toddlers and babies there. Loved the vibe and can't wait to see it in the summer time!

One of the only spots around that has food served with their tasting. GREAT food. Simple snacks, but delicious. And I must suggest the sparkling rosé! My fav.

The flatbreads, delightful! The boards, well rounded! The interior decoration, stunning! But I think the best part of this winery is their server Bill. What an attentive, bright, accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and handsome young man. Will absolutely be back and asking to be seated in Bill's section!
Be the first to ReplyGreat wine, chill vibe at outside table, staff very nice.
I recommend sitting outside.
Be the first to ReplyThe best thing about our experience was our waiter, Mike.
The dining area that we were in was enclosed by leaky tarps. The space heaters couldn't keep up. People were cheerful, but there was at least one shouting patron at each table next to ours. One party left right after we got there. Someone at the other table observed our discomfiture and calmed his friend down. The Sauvignon blanc and reisling were good. Don't bother with the red wines. The nosh plate was underwhelming, especially for the price. A good way to spend an hour with friends if you temper your expectations. Maybe it's better in the summer.
Be the first to ReplyA group of 4 people visited the vineyard right after
A group of 4 people visited the vineyard right after Thanksgiving we appreciated the beautiful Christmas decorations that were already in place. When we arrived at 3PM, it was very crowded and noisy. We signed up for the tour ($85/pp) and it was well worth it! The tour guide was SO knowledgeable and clearly cared so much for the Vineyard. We also got pretty heavy pours of the 4 glasses of wine tasting that is included in the tour. Learning how they make wine and the history of wine vineyards on Long Island helped me accept their wine prices! I speculate it'll be much prettier during warmer months, but the place had a unique charm during the cold too :). The whole tour is about 60-70 minutes and the tour guide even answered more questions and helped us pick out some wine at the wine shop. We also sat down for dinner for food after, but sadly the food menu isn't much. They have small plates of cheese+meat boards and few flatbreads. We ended up getting a few things and eating a full dinner elsewhere! The location is very difficult to get to without a car, though it is possible to get there on the LIRR and a short trip on Uber/Lyft. Plenty of parking is available if you need it though!
Be the first to ReplyWine and service were good.
Not too many vegan food options though. The menu itself is super pricey. Can find the same wine at wholefoods on sale for a much better price at the end of each season. Pretty ambiance to sit with friends and catch up.
Be the first to Replyabsolutely a beautiful place to visit.
Definitely need reservations if you want to sit outside. Everything was very good, but nothing mind blowing about their food or wine. The flatbread with brie cheese, prosciutto, fig and honey was really good. The charcuterie board was OK, disappointing that they did not give crackers with it. I would definitely go with the flat fbread over the charcuterie if I were going to get one over the other.

We were in downtown Southampton for the day and figured why not check out this vineyard! I'm so glad we did. The location is breathtaking. I was in awe from how beautiful this place is! The staff was so sweet to us. You can walk around, take pictures and order their wine by the bottle. They have limited food items on the menu so we stuck with cheese and meat boards. The charcuterie was average. We also got the shishito peppers, those were great. They also have a large gift shop with branded items and their bottles of champagne and wine. I highly recommend Summer in a Bottle!! It was our FAVORITE!
