Awful
Manager nasty it started to rain and thunder and dinner was soaked and manager told servers to rush out and give patrons a bill to pay immediately Like we were all running out in a thunderstorm. The manager told the outside patrons he was too busy to talk to us and never came back we paid!!! Rude!! He was extremely rude and the host and hostess were embarrassed for him!!

We had been huge fans of Wolffer Kitchen since it opened. It now has a new name and “renovation” the renovation was barely noticeable. The bar top appeared filthy but it was etched from years of drinks. The new menu is less than appealing. It offers starters and main dishes. The items didn’t seem to go together. It was odd! We did try to have brunch. The Bloody Mary was sooooooo spicy it literally burned the back of our throats. The bartender said they make it in big batches and made a new drink. It just was not good. We ordered Crab Croquettes that had the look and consistency of dark canned cat food. There was zero crab flavor. It was cold in the middle. The slaw it was served with had zero taste other than cilantro. The manager was pleasant but we thought it best to simply leave without eating.
Be the first to ReplyService was great, we sat at the bar
Tuna TarTar tacos and Burratta for apps. They were delicious. Then got the ribs, which are amazing, off the bone. Constantly asked if i want another drink, which is good. Got food very fast for how packed it was in there. Even though we sat at the bar, it felt like we were being taken care of like we were at a table.
Be the first to ReplyShock. The ribs were delicious
No, of course you do not go to the Hamptons for ribs. But, when-in-Rome..... They were delicious and ample. The setting of the restaurant is nice. Half of the ambience is the restaurant and half is just being in the Hampton. The food and service is good, but expensive (maybe not for fine dining in the Hamptons).
Be the first to ReplyWorst Service I've ever experienced
We had reservation for a large birthday dinner to cap off a beautiful weekend. Once we seated it was beyond obvious the servers didn't want to be there and were literally throwing down food then asking a minute later "can I clear this"? This happened over and over, people were told they could no longer order alcohol drinks only wine which was clearly made up out of sheer laziness. We are an extremely generous crew and I was horrified at the experience. On top of this they brought out more food than was ordered, a waitress agreed, then they were arguing taking those items off bill. Overall, it was a horrible experience after a beautiful weekend. I understand staff not wanting to work late if that is the case the restaurant should have never taken the reservation. The staff was beyond rude and food mediocre I will not be back.

Very bad experience, You order for 6 meals they bring you 8, overcharged of $3000 per person, not refunded yet, the food was bad, bad ambiance. When you tell to the « Manager » that you just ordered 6 and not 8 she asks you to « get out ! » … restaurant empty, you ask to be with your friend they find normal to put everyone seperated if everybody, service slow.

Their wine is better than their food. The free range chicken was fair the salmon was a little bland. It just should’ve been better
Be the first to ReplyGood mains, Terrible Desserts and mixed service
We had dinner in their outdoor dining area. First, we were service since it was about 50 and somewhat windy, but the outdoor is equipped with heatlamps and given the location, it is pretty well shielded from the wind, so it was very comfortable and a nice space. The service was mixed. We had a great waitress to start and about half way through our meal, she disappeared and we had a very young, rude gentleman randomly take over. I asked him about a dessert as it had bananas in it, which I don't like, and he said it was my prerogative that I didn't like bananas (instead of suggesting if they could do it without or offering a good alternative)! The food itself was delicious. I had the scallops which were perfectly cooked and my boyfriend has the filet which he enjoyed. The dessert on the other hand was terrible - we had the smores and the apple tarte. The apple tart had overcooked apples and a tough crust. The smores wasn't any better - basically a standard sundae with hard chocolate and marshmallows. So overall, pretty good but not our best meal in the Hamptons - I'd say the food at East Hampton Grill beats this place.
Be the first to ReplyAlternative to dining at the vineyard
We intended to dine at the Wolffer vineyard but due to an event and limited seating because of coronavirus we were unable to get a reservation 3 weeks prior to our visit so we opted for Wolffer Kitchen instead so we could try some of the wines. The meal was average, as was the 15.00 per glass wines. Overall this restaurant is overpriced but that’s the trend in this area. Service was good.
Be the first to ReplyGreat dinner with good wine and bad cocktails
Went here for dinner with four friends, we all ordered apps and main courses with a couple bottles of wine and cocktails- bill was $550 (pricey but not bad for hamptons in my opinion). All the food was great I HIGHLY recommend the scallops and the branzino both were 10/10. I love the wolffer estate rose so it was nice being able to order a bunch of wine without having to worry about a steep price tag since they supply the wine themselves. The cocktails on the other hand weren’t great, but knowing it’s a vineyard owned restaurant we should’ve known better than to order anything other than wine. Sat inside which was nice but if you’re going try to reserve seating outside instead. Wait staff was really nice and I would deff return and recommend to friends.

Had dinner here with friends and family. The menu is not huge but offers something for everybody from steak to fish to vegatarian. Nice cocktail menu & wine list.
