Service was outstanding.
Prices were good for the food. We ordered the porterhouse for two was a good cut of meat. The sides as well was very good. I wish they played music a little later but at 11 o'clock they turned down the music. I think on the weekend it would be better but overall I would definitely go back. The food was good and service was great.

Tis the season for vendor meals and I had dinner here with one of the companies I work with and I was very satisfied with the experience. Upon arrival, you walk right into the bar, which was loud and heavy with an atmosphere of testosterone, as the local finance bros tried to out-shout one another to exert their dominance. Once you get to the host stand, it calms down a little bit and the dining room itself , while loud and lively, is serene compared to the bar. There were seven of us and the service team overall did a satisfactory job of taking care of us (I didn't get the last drink I ordered but that's fine). The onion rolls to start were great and since I knew I was having steak, I didn't eat lunch so I was starving. There were a lot of appetizers ordered for the table and I sampled the tuna tartare and some clams, which were good. For my main, I had the sirloin and it was honestly amazing. Definitely cooked perfectly and tasty...a generous portion without being overwhelming. For sides, I sampled some creamed spinach (amazing) and french fries (also terrific). I was too full for dessert, but they brought out a sampler platter and I loved the key lime pie with schlag as well as the chocolate cream pie. Like a recent review of a lunch I had in midtown, I'm glad I wasn't paying because this place is not cheap. But rents are high in midtown and I'm sure there are a lot of folks on expense accounts so the prices are in line with the nearby competition.
Be the first to ReplyI went for lunch and I must say it was superb.
The steak was juicy delicious and the quality of the meat was exceptional. Also, the accompanying sides were impressive. Creamy mashed potatoes to the grilled asparagus. In addition to outstanding food, the service was professional and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcomed. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding steakhouse experience that will leave a lasting experience.
Be the first to ReplyI too join the chorus of the more than disappointed patrons
I too join the chorus of the more than disappointed patrons of Wolfgang Puck. Just yesterday, we called the 54th outlet saying we wanted to order a lobster. We were assured that they had lobsters. We arrived at the restaurant and had our cocktails and when the waiter came over to take our order, I ordered lobsters. First I was greeted with the chorus that they had no large lobsters and that they had two small lobsters. Then they came back saying that they have no lobsters even though the menu, which shows no price, shows that they offer lobsters. I wound up ordering overcooked lambchops. We asked the manager in view of the circumstances for some kind of concession. All he could come up with was one dessert and coffee. Given the circumstances, this was totally unacceptable. So please warn anyone away from going to Wolfgang Puck. They too will be disappointed as I was. Besides, the manager was rude.
Be the first to ReplyThe steak was great and all the food we tried was good.
The meat was seasoned and cooked extremely well. Service was good but we were next to an extremely loud table of frat bros and that made it hard to enjoy the atmosphere. The menu was also a bit confusing because the meat came alone without sides which had to be ordered separately but that wasn't exactly clear on the menu. I also know it's Manhattan but the prices were absolutely out of this world high.

Went on a Thursday night without any reservation and we were seated immediately. Very spacious restaurant and very much a fine dining experience. Waiters were very attentive and friendly. Our water was constantly refilled and our table cleaned of crumbs. The food itself was good. The steak was a little on the drier side, but it was cooked to medium rare per our request and pretty tender. The lobster was de-shelled and well seasoned and very easy to eat.

One of the better steakhouse experience I've had- complimented by a perfect tomahawk cut and glasses of wine. The server was attentive and informed me that I was about to order too much food for just two people (which was thoughtful). The manager genuinely wanted the best experience for us, and recommended the Limoncello- which was homemade and definitely very pleasant.
Be the first to ReplyNot sure if I've been to Wolfgang's before, but this visit
Not sure if I've been to Wolfgang's before, but this visit definitely left a positive impression. I got the NY sirloin and I usually can't finish a whole steak, but this one was too delicious...cooked to perfection with a nice char and tender interior. Also added oysters, shrimp cocktail, and sautéed spinach to complete the meal. Wish I took more pics of the food, but seriously I dug right in. As far as service, Sokol is the best waiter I've encountered, hands down! And to top it off, we bonded over our cat pictures lol. Everyone was accommodating, including the hostess (who was killing it with her pink monochrome outfit) and manager checking in with us multiple times to ensure we were enjoying everything. And shout out to the staff belting out a Broadway-worthy rendition of happy birthday to me. Can't thank them enough for a great night!

We went here for dinner yesterday From the moment we arrived we were under constant pressure to hurry up and get out,I'm guessing because we didn't order wine, but between 3 of us we spent $500.Ruined a very special evening.NEVER going back.Just wish we had been served with the same care as the other diners.
Be the first to ReplyNot a top end steak house.
Service was slow . Rib eye steak excellent but Chilean sea bass was inedible. Ok ambiance. Better options in New York.

We wanted to go here for date night and was just a bad experience. Our waiter was definitely drunk or high or something. Waited forever for him.. he kept dropping plates at our table and other tables he was serving at.. our steak was cold. Even the hostess and manager even apologized but didn't compensate us for such bad service.
Be the first to ReplyCame here for anniversary day dinner.
Ordered medium rare but it tasted more like medium or medium well.

Gosh, I was so disappointed to see how the food quality has deteriorated over the years. While the service was still an A, the steak was on the tougher side, was quite salty and just left us underwhelmed. The sizzling plate usually stays hot for at least 20 minutes, but this time it became cold so quickly. Shockingly, I even liked the German Potatoes a little more than the steak. With the selection for steak in the city, Wolfgang just didn't deliver and I feel you can find better elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was not as expected.
Most of us ordered steak and sides, but the taste and tenderness was fair. The wine list was poorly selected. For this kind of restaurant I was expecting to be able to select from a wider and more sophisticated list of wines. The service was ok. And the ambiance not as great. I would not recommend this place. Don't waste your money.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing! Such good food.
We got a bottle of red wine. It was not great but the meat made up for the bad wine. Wine 0/5, food 10/5. I've been to other Wolfgang's and they're good too. It was my birthday and the male servers awkwardly sang happy birthday to me and I loved it! It was so good! Thank you all for a great night. Nice low ish lights, low music, easy to hear each other and not close enough to other tables. Everyone was very professional that worked there. Will definitely go back!
Be the first to ReplyPerfectly cooked steak as expected.
Came here for a work dinner. Ordered the steak for four and a bunch of sides. Had clams and crab cake appetizer. The service was beyond nice. Never felt rushed even when we were close to closing time. The people here are fantastic and you are treated right. Definitely worth coming here.

Be the first to ReplyI am not sure what happened at this location as I've eaten
I am not sure what happened at this location as I've eaten here 3 times before and each time was very good. But the steak tonight was an atrocity. Ordered medium-rare, it came out flaccid, unseasoned, virtually uncooked in the middle, with nothing resembling any kind of sear or char on the outside. A Gristedes steak cooked by your ten year old at home would taste better.Other issues:- We asked for tap water and the servers instead continued to bring bottled water and poured without asking. - The creamed spinach was....not. It was instead a puréed green liquid with nary a hint of butter, cream or garlic within its morass. It resembled hospital food for patients who have just had oral surgery and can't eat solids. The problem is that this is an expensive meal, and it is a place where people celebrate special occasions. Instead, for my family's reunion tonight, we received a tasteless meal cooked with zero skill or passion. Please do not spend your hard-earned money here, not unless they revive previous standards.
Be the first to ReplyThe bacon alone won this review 5 stars.
Wow, I mean the piece was so damn huge its was almost a pork chop. It was nice and hot and just mouthwateringly tasty. The steak itself was good, not Peter Luger good but still good. The cream spinach was okay, I feel like they could perfect it a little more. German potatoes were a little burnt and bland but I guess that works well when everything else has strong seasoning to offset it.Service was good, I forgot my gift under the table and they called me back to pick up! So kind - thank you!
Be the first to ReplyWaste of money.
This location makes money off of the reputation of the other locations.1. Table was very wobbly2. My guest got elbowed by the waiter (wasn't acknowledge until we made subtle comments)3. Medium rare was actually cooked as rare4. "German Potatoes " were heavily over-seasoned - average diners have way better potatoes5. Steak sauce was heavily salted6. Utensils were dirty

Steak was undercooked, one waiter was positive, other was pretty poor. Would not recommend going here. Try other locations, pretty bland, consistent with other reviews. Not sure this shop knows how to cook steak.
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelming experience overall.
Food was not on par with the price. Service was fine but not much of a steakhouse compared to past experiences elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyHonestly, the worst steak I've ever had.
Service was horrible waiter didn't was not attentive, if I'm paying $75 for a steak I shouldn't have to add any sauce, salt, or pepper to the meat. The lobster Mac and cheese tasted like craft Mac and cheese, and the potatoes taste like box instant potatoes. Then to top it all off we ordered a seafood platter as an appetizer, the waiter said it was $45 and could be split between 4, the bill comes and they. Charged us $135 for it because he said it was for 3 he never told us that to begin with. The only good thing I like was the fries.-total cost for the bill $411, such a waste of money and time. If I could I'd give 0 stars.
