I absolutely love Wynn/Encore.
So much so that I just returned from a trip there and that was my third trip since October. The Wynn rooms are beautiful and we had fabulous meals at Mizumi and my favorite, Sinatra. The service throughout the property is top notch! There is one exception however - the casino. I play high limit slots and I like variety and want to play the newest games - Wynn is severely lacking in that respect. Much of the casino floor is dedicated to 1 cent machines with low minimum bets - you can't change the denomination or the size of the maximum bet. Games on the floor tend to have a maximum bet of $50, if you can find them, and there aren't many. In addition to the low limit games there is a lack of new games. I want to play the newest games and I can't at Wynn. The high limit room is tired and there are no new games to speak of, I think the newest is Huff & Puff and I know there are at least two new generations of that game that are nowhere to be found in the high limit room or at Encore. I just don't get it, a high limit player that can only play 10% of the machines in the casino. I would think the casino would want a player like me as opposed to the single cent player, but perhaps I don't understand casino economics. I really, really love the hotel and restaurants but we're considering different properties for our next trip. I'd love to hear from Wynn on what their plans are to modernize because it is a limitation and keeps me from an automatic return. Last, they really need to institute automated W-2G's, that's a major pain to wait for those. The casino staff is generally nice (with the exception of the cage) but it does take a lot of time. There's more to say but we'll start here - come on Wynn, let me hear from you!E

You guys could care less about customers being happy. My husband checked in today to a king room where the smell is unbearable. Instead of offering a different room or even my husband willing to pay the difference for a nicer room, they claim they are sold out. Well I called reservations shortly after and there is a king size room and suites available. All we wanted was a nice clean room where we can breathe and not have a headache and enjoy the 3 nights we are staying in Vegas. It is one thing to be sold out, but you're not and lied and won't give us a different room that meets the standards of what Wynn advertises. We've stayed here for many years and will not be returning and will be checking out to stay somewhere else.
Be the first to ReplyI've stayed at the Wynn for years.
A few times, even stayed in the tower suites. After my most recent experience last weekend, I will never stay at the Wynn again. I decided to go to the spa for a body treatment. Within the first 10 minutes of the treatment, my skin started to burn, and my feet and ankles turned red. I was in excruciating pain, and alerted the masseuse. She then immediately tried to place the body scrub on a different area of my body and I experienced a burning reaction again. I needed to literally ice my feet and calfs during and for hours after the treatment. I was unable to get the full experience and spent my entire hour burning and trying to be comfortable after leaving the spa. I spoke to management about my very poor experience. They instantly responded with extreme hostility. I had zero intentions to sue the Wynn- I signed consent forms and saw the ingredients and had no issues with what I signed up for. Upon relaying my terrible experience, I was expecting some sympathy and was instead met with the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. They informed me that I must make a police report. Yes, a police report! For a bad experience at a spa. Makes absolutely zero sense. I told him I did not want any problems as I was only in Vegas for 24 hours and I wanted to enjoy the rest of my stay. All that I expected was a bit more decency in the customer service aspect. After speaking to concierge, they informed me that they will speak to management to get back to me regarding a possible voucher to get another service at the spa at a different stay, since my whole 60 minutes I was burning and in pain. This morning I received a very rude and in-compassionate email from management saying no apology, and just sending me a list of the ingredients in the scrub. The lack of good customer service in a highly rated resort is concerning. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I will advise my tower suite member siblings to also never stay here again. Only stay here if you would like terrible and rude customer service.
Be the first to ReplyMy two sons and I just returned from "guys weekend "
My two sons and I just returned from "guys weekend " Thursday to Sunday at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas to celebrate my 70th birthday and my older son's 40th birthday. It was the second time that I have visited the property. My wife and I stayed here about eight years ago. The hotel is beautiful, immaculately maintained to a very high standard - impeccable. The Wynn staff were all exceptional very friendly and helpful ! As you would expect from one of the top resorts in Las Vegas the price of everything was above average . A basic mixed drink ranged from $20-$25 draft beers at $10 -$15 . The restaurants were also all very good but expensive . You will not find a .99 cent shrimp cocktail at the Wynn ! LOL ! An example I stopped in the Wynn coffee shop one morning for a salmon and cream cheese bagel. It was outstanding, but at $18 it was just slightly overpriced $15 would've been fine in my mind but the extra three dollars made me feel a bit like I was being "gouged " especially since I was gambling. It was cold and rainy unfortunately when we visited so we didn't get a chance to use the pool or play golf . A high end shopping mall is attached to the Wynn with many exquisite designer stores which are interesting to visit and potentially treat yourself to something exceptional to remember your trip . We also rented a car at the Hertz desk located in the hotel and drove 30 minutes to visit Red Rock Canyon, it is quite beautiful and definitely worth the short trip . However note that you must have a reservation ahead of time to be allowed in the park the fee was a very reasonable $20 per car . A big plus in my opinion of premium prices at the Wynn is that the resort attracts an affluent fun crowd with many international visitors . This gave the resort a nice vibe. I did not see the rough crowd or drunk college kids like you might potentially find at some of the other casinos, or especially in old Las Vegas . I highly recommend the Wynn be prepared to pay premium prices for everything but you will receive great quality in return!
Be the first to ReplyThis hotel does not honor its commitments.
You may make a reservation for a room and present the confirmation of that reservation and still be denied with impunity. Extremely poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. Dr. Kuhn

Just wanted to share, I was checking in and the poeple noticed it was my birthday and did a free upgrade. I thought that was extremely nice of them. The service here is a 10, and people are super nice. The rooms are the best on the strip IMO

Enjoyed it except for many smoking areas dedicated for the game machines. Visitor's can be seen playing inside the casino areas. There were a few restaurants but you have to walk a mile or so to find the one you want to try until you are tired of checking their menus which were not inviting! Will I stay there again in the future? It all depends on their nice accommodation for my family!

Be the first to ReplyWynn is probably one of my favorite hotels in Vegas and
Wynn is probably one of my favorite hotels in Vegas and I've been to the higher end hotels here. One thing I wish the Wynn is able to do is hire someone to do A.I. or have a better technology/app. 1. We should be able to book a massage via app. 2. We should be able to book turndown service via app. 3. Ask for services or extra towels via app. 4. When the maid is done cleaning the room then the app would alert us. There were so many times when the maid or turndown service is late then I have to walk to the room, she's still working on it (late), then I have to walk back down the elevator and wait an extra 30 mins. 5. Order room service via app. 6. Book a restaurant via app. For the life of I am never able to book a restaurant through the app. 7. The digital key works via app + It would make life so much easier. Then there should be an A.I. if we allow it. Hey, so and so, we have tickets to a show for this price or opening to massage at 2 PM would you like to book. I suggest someone from management to look into Royal Caribbean app where the booking and person's itinerary is added to the app.

Ended up in Vegas again sooner than I expected to meet some friends who were in town for a training. I'm not going to lie and say that I don't notice the difference from before Steve was fired but it is still the best hotel in the strip. I will also say after visiting resorts world again that its definitely the safest hotel on the strip. I did not feel unsafe at any moment walking up to my room by myself after winning a jackpot. I'm not saying don't be aware of your surroundings or trust that totally I'm just saying that I definitely would have asked for an escort had I been at any other hotel.

wenr to Vegas this weekend and visited one of my favorite spots the buffet at the Wynn, as usual the food was great- but Sunday the service was even better, my waiter Nathaniel, was so friendly & so attentive! he really made my entire dinner! I will surely ask for him as my server again on my next visit!
Be the first to ReplyThe Wynn is a beautiful property.
It is more of a resort than a hotel, with greenery and waterfalls throughout the property. They even have an incredibly large atrium area with living trees and plants and walkthrough pathways. We arrived and the registration lobby was full of people wanting to check-in. However, every reception desk was posted and the lines moved forward quickly. We found our room and it was so nicely laid out. We had a corner room and had a great view of the Strip and mountains. The bathroom was amazing and had all the toiletries you would want!! The bed was comfortable snd the room was immaculate. This hotel has many amenities, on the pricier scale: the boutique shoppings as well as designer stores, the restaurants and coffee shops. Funny enough, this hotel does not have a Starbucks. It was too cold to experience their outside amenities. Planning to come back when it is warmer !!
Be the first to ReplyThis hotel is not good for business.
Pleasure, maybe, but business, not. The internet connectivity is a disaster. You get roughly 3-4mbps, and I paid $30+ for 24 hours to boost me to what was supposed to be up to 20mbps, but I only got 4.5.I spoke with management about this, and they told me that it was not possible to get good service for a hotel with 3000 guests, especially for people who use Apple products.I had expected a high end experience here. But this hotel's technology is wallowing in the dark ages.
Be the first to ReplyComing off a long flight it would be nice to grab a water
Coming off a long flight it would be nice to grab a water and have them offer a bell hop for the luggage. Perhaps it was time of night, but with the prices per room... it should at least be offered. People in our group were requested to stay near us and we were 20 floors apart and in different towers. Zero they could do. Breakfast was underwhelming with about the grossest sausage I've experienced. Seemed freezer burnt. Room service was late, not even warm and dull. Table dealers seem like they hate their jobs as much as they hate you. You get little to NO credits for table betting and you spend lots of money there and hours! I would appreciate a comp every so often for dropping $$$$ on blackjack but not here. Last but not least, the room was basic and if you want to be impressed I'd shop elsewhere.

My favorite place in Las Vegas! I've stayed here many times. Both at encore and Wynn. It's amazing every visit. The service and attention to detail is unrivaled. The Wynn has the best food on the strip Every restaurant as well the room service is excellent. Fresh ingredients and home cooked. Some of my favorites are delilah. And red 8. The housekeeping is also very detailed and meticulous. The rooms are well appointed and beautiful. The casino has breathable air and gorgeous stores. unlike most smoky stinky casinos on the strip. It's really the best hotel in Vegas. I've stayed everywhere and none of the other hotels are anywhere near as nice. I like the Wynn better than the cosmo or Bellagio or palazzo, Delano, aria or Waldorf. It's the best
Be the first to ReplyOur first time staying here.
One of the more "classy" casinos in Vegas. The ambiance screams money.. the staff was friendly and standard rooms are even nicer then standard rooms elsewhere. I have a few complaints.. my biggest one is the lack of water pressure in the shower. It is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I'm not exaggerating when I say the water hardly sprays out. It's like washing yourself with a cup of water. And had I known this info before booking a room here, I most likely would've stayed somewhere else. My second complaint is the reservation process for the restaurants. You can only make reservations for parties of 4 or more. Which gives you zero chance to take your loved one out on a date to one of their highly rated restaurants. I still rate it 4 stars because like I said earlier it's a very nice casino with a great atmosphere.
