I have never been to a Korean Barbecue spot that was half buffet and half order off the menu until now. I will admit I was a bit confused on how the menu worked until the employee explained that some items on the menu we could simply get up and grab. They had lots of good choices and as skeptical as I was about the buffet style meats, they were pretty good! Although the space is a bit small, it had a nice view of the LA streets. This place would be perfect for a date night! It was a good experience but we did find ourselves having to ask the staff for some of our ordered items multiple times. Besides that, I would definitely come back to try this place again!

Today, I came to Koreatown with my friends and ate this Korean barbecue. I felt very good. The meat was fresh and the taste was also very good. Especially ox tongue, it makes people feel happy, and will come again next time, recommend it to friends.

This place won't let you come eat by yourself, even when you offer to pay for two people. I completely understand that, when it's busy, it's not worth it for them to only serve one person because it takes up a table that could make more money but it's 10 pm on a Tuesday night. Half the tables are empty. If I'm willing to pay for two people I don't see a logical reason to deny me service besides "sorry it's policy." I live upstairs at Solair and sometimes late at night I want some kbbq. I'm willing to pay double the price for their food. Is that too much to ask? They don't even have to cook my food! I prefer cooking it myself. I do feel bad about giving only two stars. I think this is a 4 star place but maybe management will see this review and change their policies or maybe let the residents who live upstairs come down to eat when it's not busy. It's 10pm, my wife is at work, I'm hangry, and there's kbbq downstairs..but I can't eat it. I guess I need more friends who stay up late..but sometimes a dude just wants eat by themselves and relax ya know?
The food was bussin.
Loved the sides that it came with. Really ate it up! It's worth the wait in my opinion.
good food it was yummy.
i like it and taste good. the meat is good and service was goodz

I love when a Korean bbq place is well ventilated and the smell of burnt meat doesn't immediately engulf you as you enter. This place is clean and the servers are attentive and quick. They offer parking in back in an underground parking lot. First 2 hours are free. What I like aside from the cleanliness of the place is that they have their sides in a self service bar so you don't have to constantly flag them down for more macaroni salad or whatever you want more of. They also have some meats that are also self service like bulgogi. They also have a huge selection of meats you can order from their kitchen.

I love coming here with friends when we want to have a nice big meal. The servers are super nice and friendly. The meat quality is great and they have a lot to choose from. Getting the shin ramen at the end is a must.
Food was ok.
If you're going to eat here as a group (more than 4)..just don't go here. They'll make you wait until two tables open up which is ridiculous since we decided to sit separately (we're 9). Host said ok we'll clean the table but then gave our table away to other diners. The place is small so they will keep telling you to wait outside which in summer days is fine but not in winter or cold nights, you'll freeze before you can eat...but food is not that bad fir the price.

This place came as a recommendation from friends who visited another location. Conveniently located in the heart of LA, on the 2nd floor of a mixed use building. Parking was free for 2 hours but the structure entrance is hard to find (watch the IG link on their page for where to enter) and inside the structure is tight, so don't bring your big car. We had to wait about 30 mins, even for an earlier dinner time. They only seat you once your entire party is there. Upon entering, the floor was extremely slippery. I had to slide my feet (wearing sandals) instead of take a step so I wouldn't fall. Definitely not the best feeling. The menu has a lot of options and prices are reasonable for all you can eat. Some items come from the kitchen, but others are at the self serve area. The meat was of good quality with many flavor options. I like traditional Korean BBQ and all the flavors of bulgogi and other meats were not my style. After trying some Hawaiian flavoring and others, I went back to plain and it hit the spot. The restaurant is very loud. Although we had the first table by the kitchen, it was hard to flag down a staff for orders and refills. Good thing is the ventilation here is great. I didn't leave smelling like bbq. Overall decent experience, but I wouldn't rush back with so many options in the area.

All the meats tasted great! And very good seasoning! I liked the finger cut Kalbi and the wagyu brisket. Plus parking was validated! They also stay open until 2 am which is good for the late crowd.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
