Fantastic authentic Japanese restaurant with great views of the Opera House! We use to live in Okinawa Japan for 3 years and have been in search for fresh tasty Sashimi. We were told by our hotel concierge that this is the place to check out. It did not disappoint!! The service, food, Japanese whiskey and view were 10/10! Arigato Gozaimasu Shu and staff!

Visited from Canada with my boyfriend and decided to dine at this restaurant. We had an absolutely fabulous experience. From the view to the staff, we really were treated wonderfully. We ordered the 7 course meal and did not feel rushed. We were able to experience a taste in every bite we had. The hot pot wagyu was amazing and it is worth every penny! If you ever get the chance to stop by Yuki's at the Quay do yourself a favor and set some time aside to have a fantastic meal with truly wonderful service.

Pretty solid food, a bit pricey but it gets rid of the crowd and the view is truly amazing! Make a reservation if you want outdoor seating. One of my favorite places in Sydney

$85.00 for the most amazing Japanese food. Incredible view, breathtaking food (see pics) with amazing service will definitely be back! They also have a $45 lunch special for 3 courses

Have been a few times. The food is terrific and the prices are low. Good views unless a ship is docked at the quay. Don't go if a cruise ship is docked there because you can smell them emptying the toilets from the ship. Anyway, is a great restaurant and I will return.

As mentioned by other reviewers, the setting and view are spectacular. The food and service are great. The only quibble I had was the low-end laminated menus you expect to see in a $5 noodle house, which was quite out of place in a high-end, expensive restaurant. That, and they serve 3/4 of a glass of beer. Also, rather than a slice of lemon in your water glass, almost as if they are trying to cut costs and lemons are the price of saffron, only a tiny sliver of lemon. That said, the sashimi and sushi were top class, very elegant.

Located at Circular Quay, Yukis has a fabulous view of the harbour, Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The glittering lights reflecting on the water creates a tremendous backdrop from which to enjoy a delicious Japanese restaurant. With the hundreds and hundreds of Japanese restaurants that operate on Sydney's streets, it's sometimes hard to imagine how one could be distinguished from another. After all, sushi, sashimi and oodles of noodles are typical and simple Japanese fare. Ahhh, think again: Yuki's is certainly a cut above the rest; offering authentic Japanese food under the watchful eye of Head Chef Norihiro Nakatani. Its proximity to the sea certainly puts you in the mood for sushi, and you won't be disappointed. The food they offer is traditional, fresh and beautifully presented. Think sushi, salads, sashimi, tempura, stir fries and grilled fish. As I say, there's nothing out of the usual on the menu but it's more the quality and taste of the food that sets it apart. It's also great value - considering you're getting top quality food prepared by traditional and highly trained chefs which leaves Yukis miles ahead of most other Japanese restaurants. The service is great, too, and all-in-all, I had a brilliant meal.

If Yuki's served kebabs it would still be one of the best restaurants in Sydney. If you had not guessed, being perched on top of the passenger terminal gives you one of the best views of the Sydney harbour and Opera House. Unfortunately instead of a kebab... you'll be forced to eat things like soft-shell crab, natural pacific oysters, yellow fin tuna sashimi or roast duck breast with hacho-miso sauce. I am sure somehow... you'll survive. :-)While there are a lot of different (and often seasonal) things on the a la carte menu, it seems that when ever I go to Yuki's I convince myself to get the special course (think degustation). When coming to a place like this to eat, I find relying on what the chef thinks are his best dishes for the season all but guarantee a great experience. I am sure my selection had nothing at all to do with the fact that when I have come here in the past, the Japanese Government may have foot the bill.Either way, the food here is great, and the view is spectacular. Need I say more?
