Food was good but not great.
Very slow service. Friendly waitress but rarely showed up at our table for refills of wine or water. We would have ordered a lot more drinks if someone had taken our orders.Food was good but not great nor memorable. Way overpriced for what it was. Many betteroptions available in Vegas
😍
Zuma is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants.
I usually go to the New York location for special occasions and was super excited to visit the Las Vegas establishment. Of course the service and food did not disappoint! My partner and I usually share the Cod wrapped in a banana leaf but this time we got our own. That's how good it is, you can't share it! We also got the potato, lychee martinis, dumplings and scallops. Each food item was a 10/10 and so were the cocktails. Great service, great food and the ambiance was beautiful.
🙂
The service was amazing.
Was with a big party and we're cared for as if we were a party of 2. They made sure we were happy and well fed. The Yellowtail was so good. If you are into sushi, this place is worth the wait.

Definitely one of the most enjoyable meals in recent
Definitely one of the most enjoyable meals in recent memory!! My wife and I ate here recently to celebrate her birthday. Zuma pretty much fits the vibe as any of the other fine dining restaurants located inside the Cosmo.....think glitz, glam, with a sprinkle of nightclub. The cuisine here is described as "Japanese fusion," basically authentic Japanese with a contemporary twist. The best way I describe the place to people who have never been is telling them the food is similar to Nobu's. But that is where the similarities end.Compared to Nobu, I found the food at Zuma to be much more flavorful, better proportioned, and just overall a better dining experience. We wife and I both opted on the premium omakase set for $168pp. While we waited for the first course to come out we both ordered some cocktails. I got the "Burning history" and my wife got the lychee martini. Both were expertly crafted, nice and stiff without being overly sweet. I had seen it before on social media and knew I had to order it. The bartender will bring a whiskey barrel stave to your table and blowtorch it. They capture the smoke in your glass and then add the cocktail of Suntory whiskey, ginger, honey, yuzu, and egg whites. Absolutely delicious, one of my all time favorite cocktails. My wife and I both loved our cocktails so much we ended up ordering another round before dinner's end.Now on to the food! The premium omakase was 10 courses and we felt it was the perfect amount of food without being still hungry or overly stuffed. Highlights were definitely the toro tartare with caviar, the nigiri and sashimi platter, the chili ponzu ribeye, and the Chilean seabass. All were to die for as they say....haha. All in all it was a very pleasant dining experience, from start to finish! We're already looking forward to when we can return here!! Highly recommended!
😍
Excellent service and delicious menu items.
Food is fresh and delicious. Price is on the high side, perhaps great for a special occasion. Wagyu beef, blue fin tuna, fried tofu, yellow tail, giant scallops, Osetra Caviar all done with a Japanese flair.
😍
Hip ambiance and love that it's an open kitchen right in
Hip ambiance and love that it's an open kitchen right in the middle of the restaurant. We had bar seating and had a front row view of the action. The attention to detail with the chefs using tweezers to get the food presentation just right placing a single leaf of cilantro! Everything is family style which lends to trying many different dishes. We started with the edamame-standard and good. Yellowtail sashimi-slam dunk. The flavors of the sauce were on point! Also had the other sashimi dish listed, can't remember the name but it had garlic in each slice-sooo good! Mushrooms flavor were out of this world-I could drink the sauce. The king prawn was the real star of the night for me-the yuzu citrus flavoring was phenomenal. Highly highly recommend. The skirt steak was seasoned well, the Chilean sea bass was bland-nothing to write home about. The king crab-not a fan of the butter sauce. Service rocked. The dishes come out as they are ready and the servers clear and clean up the table as you go.

I've been waiting to try this place for months after
I've been waiting to try this place for months after multiple IG influencers highly recommended it. I will say it took FOREVER to obtain a reservation. I had to ask for help from the cosmopolitan concierge. I was told to make a reservation for more than 2 people so it will finally pop up online. I also called twice over the phone for 2 people & I was told it was completely booked. The moment I called for 3 people or switched the online reservation for 3, multiple spots popped up. I get it. This is a very popular & busy restaurant. I just wish it would be a little more friendly towards a party of 2.We ended up making a reservation for a party of 3 for my husband's birthday. His sister ended up getting sick, but we wanted to continue with this long awaited dinner. When we arrived the boulevard towers were completely shut down. All traffic were directed to park towards the Chelsea towers & use their elevators. I told my husband to call to make sure our reservation was still good. We understand there is a 15 minute grace period. We finally got there on the dot even after all the delays of the elevators being closed. Once we got there, we gave our names. One employee even said that 2 tables were opening up. The moment my Husband mentioned that our 3rd party was not coming, the hostess changed her attitude. All of a sudden, there were NO tables available until an hour and a half out. We asked why & she explained that we fell out of the grace period, which wasn't true. We explained the elevator situation & it didn't matterWe made our way to the concierge since they have been helping my husband & I make these reservations. We explained the situation. Their manager had to talk to the manager of Zuma & we suddenly received a text that a table was ready even when the hostess said it would be an hour and a half. I'm so thankful we knew someone with concierge to help us finally get seated So now seated at the high top area, which is fine. I was just so dang happy to sit down & celebrate my husband's birthday. It took me my drink to finally relax & enjoy my time there. Alonso was so friendly, accommodating, & very personable. He was a breath of fresh air compared to what we experienced at first. We've been eyeing this place for months & were told to do the omakase so we did just that. 2 signatures for $138/person. It was A LOT, but in an amazing over abundance type of way. One of the best & worth it omakases ever. We were surprised when Alonso told us we were only entering the 2nd course! We definitely slowed down after the sushi/sashimi portion. Once you get to the main entree part, they are able to box those portions so you don't have to force yourself trying to finish. At the end we had a birthday dessert with a variety of assorted exotic fruit, passion fruit chawamushi, & a key lime/yuzu type of cheesecake. It was all so refreshing! The portions were perfect, flavorful, and beautiful. There was not one dish I didn't like. I wanted to eat each plate clean! We pretty much did. Ambiance was fantastic & such a vibe! Thank you to Alonso for making my husband's birthday such a treat. Thank you to the Cosmopolitan concierge for helping us get seated. You know who you are. You all are amazing & we are grateful for such kind people!
Food was over priced for what it is. You're paying for the atmosphere and the location.Desserts were pretty good.Make sure to make reservations if you plan on dining here, it does get filled up especialky kn

Food-Wow! Top tier!!! We had a chef special, I forget the name, but it is amazing! My friend ordered for the table, I just INDULGED in the full experience! We started with appetizers, tuna sashimi, sea bass sashimi and fried sea bass bites. We also had the raspberry cocktail, our awesome waiter suggested it and it was DELISH!!! We ended up having 3 each lol! Fun on a Wednesday night for sure! Then, we had some more sushi brought out, salmon, sea bass, tuna. More delicious stuff! We had dumplings that were to die for, caviar sushi with the fancy chips, caviar sushi rolls! Keep bringing it!Then we had medium steak OMG!!! Melt in your mouth, seasoned so well!!! It was perfection indeed. The GRAND FINALE was this indescribable dessert creation that had sorbet, fresh fruits, some chocolate cream something, custard cream, the chocolate "man" etc...WOW!!!When I tell you, this was an INCREDIBLE experience in fine dining! I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back!

I spent a thousand dollars here on a fancy dinner and checked in my bag. Terrible service they turned my bag into casino security and put me through the third degree and hours of hassle to get my bag back. Ended up ruining my trip to vegas. Never will go here again. Food was not worth the crazy high price either . One star experience for sure.
😍
I dropped in looking to ge a lobster roll.
I googled Lobster Roll while in Vegas with a buddy of mine and this came up. When we go there the place looked nice, perhaps too nice for a simple lobster roll. The waitress explained they had not had lobster rolls for several years. I guess Mr Google didn't get the message. Any way we both ordered, he go jambalaya and I got crab cakes with a side of brussel sprouts. All of the food was delicious, though I'll have to say you didn't get much crab cakes for the price. The beer selection was quite limited but never the less adequate. The service was excellent. I would go there again.
We came here end of night and had their calamari which was delicious and not overly breaded or fried. Loved the jalapenos with it. We then got the super fancy roll and it was really really good.
2am and I couldn't sleep and realized it was because I was so upset by our dinner here. Where to begin. First and foremost, we specified that my son had a peanut allergy both on the reservation and in person with our server. When the dessert came, we asked again just in case and lo and behold, there was an item with peanuts in it that noone told us about until we asked. Very dangerous and very careless of them!!! Infuriatingly so, given the well known dangers of peanut allergies. Secondly, after spending 200+ per person, we all left hungry and unsatisfied. To clarify, my husband and I came here last year for omakase and we loved it and raved about it. We brought our kids and a friend and her son this year to enjoy the experience with us. The quality of the food is good but the quantity and portion control was just awful. For example, Last year sushi sashimi course, 2 slices 2 pieces per person. This year was 1 slice 1 sushi per person. Last year, two of us shared a large peice of black cod. This year, SIX of us shared 2 peices about the same size. Same thing with the rib eye steak. 6 people sharing a tiny portion when last year, 2 of us shared a slightly smaller portion. Truffle mushroom course was made and served in the same size pot and same total portion for 2 people last year as 6 people this year. And so on and so on. They have INCREASED their prices but DECREASED their portions. What a rip off. Timing of the courses was all over the place as well. Some courses came out fast and all together and then there were long periods of time between other courses. It was a good 20 to 25 mins before we got our last dessert course. Bizarre. Icing on the cake...... I specified that we were there to celebrate a birthday and they completely did nothing. No birthday message whatsoever. Whatever. We were already displeased by the time we got the check only to find out they charged us $6 plus another $6 for the one sprite my son ordered. We had asked for a "refill" on the skinny small glass of 90% ice and 10% sprite he got, and got charged $6 for it. Honestly??? The food was good but no matter how good, when you leave hungry after spending 200+ per person, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I can see that the owners managers don't really even care about their customers bc they haven't responded to any of the negative reviews on here. I doubt they'll see or care about this but needed to warn everyone. Such a disappointment.
Price does not meet the value. Sushi - tried 3 rolls (rating: 6 out of 10), Signature Ribeye (rating: 5 out of 10), Service (rating 10 out of 10).
Have been going to Zuma ever since they opened and the food is always great but each time i go the exeperience seems to worsen. They over book so the kitchen is always slammed and the food just comes out when they feel like it and there is no flow or rhythm with the courses anymore . on this occasion all out hot food came before our starters then we had some lovely rice delivered to the table but with nothing to go with it I would always go back but the management her really need to get a grip on service and make sure the experience matches the food.
Lovely atmosphere, amazing choices of food, staff very good and helpful. Definitely need to pre book to get a table.
😍
Cannot give anything less than 5 stars to Zuma.
Travelled the world and eaten at Zuma Dubai, Bangkok, Rome, Istanbul & Las Vegas. Every location is excellent. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu that's all I have to say.Favorites: Yellow tail in ponzu, miso cod, salmon and tuna tar tar, roasted potato. Need something sweet? The molten chocolate and ice cream is a must. Other dishes to try- the rock shrimp, grilled corn and truffle risotto. Drinks! The Lychee Martini- refreshing! Zuma is a must for every foodie.
🙂
Great food and customer service provided by our server
Great food and customer service provided by our server Carolyn! Our favorites were the arjun negi toro maki (fatty tuna) and pork belly skewers. If I ever came back, I would make a meal out of those items. Many of the other dishes were just basic, especially the chicken skewers. Overall, I enjoyed our dining experience but I don't have the urge to return.
😍
Everything is perfect about this place.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by cheerful staffs and, host took us to our high top table, taste of the food etc. All the items we ordered were AMAZING. I love how we can see how some of the dishes are prepared in the sushi bar and the rabat grill. Our waitress was super attentive and often checked on us. Her recommendation of the roasted potato with shiso butter was also one of my favourite item on the menu. The sushi was delicately made - in my opinion it was a bit pricey for its size and portion but it was nice to try out different fish in this assorted sushi platter. THE BLACK COD was hands down the best dish - the fish was truly cooked to perfection and will melt in your mouth. It's also a dish that I think requires more skill because once fish is overcooked the texture immediately changed. But Zuma did not disappoint, the fish was also marinated just right, perfect sweetness and texture. MUST TRY: roasted potato with shiso butterblack cod marinated in saikyo miso Not a place I would come regularly because of the price haha but definitely worth trying if you are here in Vegas. Tip: Reserve ahead because they are usually very full over the weekends
😍
The skirt steak was amazing.
By far the best restaurant in Las Vegas! The serves was amazing, and the potato. I recommend this place if you are at Las Vegas!
🙂
Ambiance 4/5Very nice environment.
Not too dark. Sets the right mood. Having most of the cooking in the dining area is an interesting touch however it can get a little loud sometimes.Service 4/5Good service. Waters were always filled, and empty plates were always taken. Server didn't ask what we were celebrating. Other nice restaurants I've been to ask and then even provide something for the occasion.Food 4/5Everything was good. My favorite was probably the beef Tenderloin. Super soft and juicy. Rib-eye was good but some parts were a little chewy. Dessert was okay. Nothing special. Everything was good but nothing was amazing. The Biggest Con At such a high end restaurant, you wouldn't expect to be using chopsticks that are the cheap pull apart wooden ones that have splinters everywhere and soak up all the sauces that a fast food place would have. Felt completely out of place and took away from the high end experience.
😍
Amazing food, great customer service, clean, cute decor.
Will Definitely recommend this place!
Interesting wine selection from small producers, had the omakase tasting menu … Surely a nice experience, quite pricey but hey, this is Las Vegas …

We came here for my birthday for Dinner and I am absolutely blown away! Everything that we ate and drank was absolutely delicious. The waitress was very kind and attentive and gave some good recommendations and also explained how the whole restaurant worked. All of the food came out hot and cooked and served to perfection. I enjoyed every single dish and cocktail, they are all very tasty! If you like raspberry - get the martini, the flavor was wonderful and it tasted like real raspberries. Potato! I am a potato lover, if you like potatoes - get the table side potato. Must have!! Desert - Chocolate hazelnut lava cake. Absolutely delicious. I love chocolate and hazelnut. This was not overly sweet either. It was perfect. I will definitely be coming back, as we frequent Vegas and stay at Cosmo!!
😍
Perfect Dinner with Love & more
Perfect Dinner with Love I would recommend the premium menu omakase. The best cocktail: Mexican Zombie Service: perfect

We took some friends out to dinner last week and they had
We took some friends out to dinner last week and they had made the recommendation to go here! We had never even heard of this place before (probably because we never go to cosmo). The vibe was great, dimly lit, crowded and great music was playing. Omg, I feel like we ordered EVERYTHING off the menu but here were some of my favorites: wagyu gyoza, hamachi, spicy fried tofu salad, miso black cod, sea bass and the corn on the cob.... We also got some type of dessert that was chocolate with caramel sauce inside- which was good- not my favorite dessert I've ever had, but it was ok- the dinner itself knocked my socks off and I can't wait to go back for more!
😍
Hands down, the best restaurant experience I've had in
Hands down, the best restaurant experience I've had in Vegas and one of the best restaurant experiences ever. Best sushi roll I've ever had -- speciality 'golden knights roll' with fatty tuna. Amazing ambiance, great wine selection. You can't miss here. Really enjoy the mix of fish and meat options -- caters to all appetites in your party. Scallops were a must. Calamari -- amazing. Everything we ordered was just on point.

With this kind of service, spend your money elsewhere!
We stayed at the Zuma last week on the 4th of July weekend, I've been trying to get a table there for the last 3 times in Vegas, and finally managed to get one, therefor was really excited and looked forward for this one. After a quick glance at the menu, we decided to go with the tasting menu, we were told it would be 5 courses meals with about 15 dishes. The dishes were ok, some stood out more than the others, but as expected from a Zuma name branded restaurant. The food was coming way too fast, the feeling was like they were trying to make you eat and leave, and turnover the table to the next guests, how fast was it? You would get 3 dishes, before even finishin one or two you would get 3 more, and 2 more, until we figured this out and asked the waiter to stop and slow down, we found ourselves eating the meat dishes cold. My recommendation: be attentive to the pace and ask the waiter to try not to go super speed, especially in smaller groups. Service wise, from the waiters it was okay. some dishes were taken too fast before we were done with, some right in time, some were misplaces and we had water spilled on 1 of us from the bowl of ice of 1 of the dishes. Until then everything was still an okay experience we had enjoyed, at the end we asked to talk to a manager before paying in order to provide feedback for the restaurant to improve, something most of places accept and take with gratitude. 3 minutes later the manager was at our table and he approached us very aggressively, literally attacked us verbally and accused us that we do not want to pay the bills. Now come on, do your homework Mr. Manager, we are hotel guests for past 4 days, we have credit card as caution in the system, we attended the other restaurants in the hotel including Blue Ribbon and experience was fine there, did you really believe we intended to walk out without paying? Even after trying to explain you slowly and for 10 minutes, you didn't understand why we called you and after realizing you falsely accused us, and not only he didn't apologize but also the attitude didn't change and kept on being so hostile towards us. So Mr. Manager if your priority is not to create a great experience for your customers, not being attentive to them, not being caring, then even with the best food in the world (which it wasn't) it will not matter. I wouldn't let this manager run anything, let alone the Zuma Restaurant. To sum up, after expecting to dine at the Zuma Vegas for so long, I definitely not recommend you to eat there until a proper management is found for this branch, find a better place where you are wanted to spend your money at. BTW as a disclaimer, most of my reviews in Tripadvisor have been positive, if I did took the time to share a bad experience here there's a true reason behind it.
😒
Great food - Ok Service - Horrible Management
TLDR; Good Food, Good Vibe, But don't complain! Let's start off by saying, the food is terrific. We took the Omakase, and most dishes were terrific. The best ones were the steak, shrimp & crab All fish dishes were also terrific. The worst one: Vegetable dish - inedible. (Which at the end of the meal, we were made aware we could have had changed. At the end, not when we literally left it uneaten) Which brings us to management. For a meal that costs 170 per person, we expect a certain level of experience. Some cons: * Food was served in a hurry, not taking into account the pace of the people dining. * Bowls that were chilling the food started leaking all over the table and diners. * Due to the pace, items like steak sticks were cold, and were re-heated, which ruined the dish. * Chilled dishes that were left on the table were left unchilled. This also ruined the dining experience. When we brought this to managements attention, things spiraled out of control. A person identified as a manager of the restaurant, accused us for not paying! We believe this was a loss in translation. However, the complains at this point were not heard, and the manager was on full defense. There are high expectations when you pay this much for a meal, and ruining the end of the experience did ruin the whole experience at the end of the day. So make sure not to complain, or you may be accused of something you didn't say!
