Went to Bestia for my 27th bday and had the best experience! Food was *chef's kiss* and the ambiance and service were both top notch. We made a reservation for 7pm and was probably seated at around 7:30. This place is very busy and it can get pretty loud inside. Food is family style and our serve suggested we get at least one item from each food section in the menu.-Spicy lamb sausage: so good, the mint is a nice touch-Squid ink chitarra: my fave of the night. flavors are well blended with each other and lots of lobster-Slow roasted lamb neck: the meat is so tender!! and the portion is pretty big-Peruvian scallops crudo: has a tangy citrus taste that pairs well with the scallop. Would order 10 more-Bone marrow: delicious, but id say the portion is teeny tiny-Mambo Sun: this drink was YUM. highly recI'd order everything again except for the roasted lamb. They have valet available but street parking is doable (it is a pretty sketch area so park at your own risk).

We were worried about splitting a pizza before our pasta, but I'm glad we did due to the portion side. Keep in mind that I am the opposite of an almond mom and I like to eat, so this is subjective.Service 10/10 our server was amazing and others checked on us during our time thereCocktails 10/10 no words, just delicious! And each round came to us within a few minutes! Ambiance 6/10 absolutely freezing in there. Our food was cold within a few minutes which was a bummer. We were seated at a high top table in the bar area which was spacious. But there is no foot rest on the table which forces you to use the one on the chair. that combined with the stiff wooden stool made for a slightly uncomfortable experience. If it was a quick bite or drink it would have been ok though.

Food is delicious, pizzas are really good thin crust Italian style. It was my birthday I took my kids with us and they didn't care from them so ambiance isn't as good as ... place is too noisy and is difficult to have a conversation.

Everything started very well. The host greeted us properly and advised us to order a drink while we were waiting for our table. Shortly, our table was ready and we got called. Our server was very professional, and I would say a little pushy trying to upsell, but it was ok. Food and drink looked and tasted good. we got a meat platter, steak tartar, toasted marrow bone, a lamb pizza, and a panna cotta.So why 1 star? Because we all got sick that night and my wife was sick for 3 days. I suspect the steak tartar, but could be one of the other foods.

The food was delicious. Ordered the Caesar salad, gnocchi, lamb, neck, and branzino. Everything was delicious. The seasonings on everything the herbs was just out of this world. I did not want to share the gnocchi with my husband, but I had to lol. Even the virgin cocktail was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

He took our order and we never saw him again until ordering dessert, and to pick up our money for the bill. He didn't even serve our food! Other people did! So service there was...meh... could have been better.Some of the food we ordered was a bit salty for our taste, like the SQUID INK CHITARRA and the BEEF CARPACCIO.But the CAESAR SALAD was excellent as well as the SEA SCALLOPS! Yum! Yum! Very light and refreshing. Recommend them.Overall, place was loud, hip and busy, but some of the food was good. Just service with the main servicer disappointed us. Hopefully there are better main servers there.

Had a party of over 10 people last night with a bill close
Had a party of over 10 people last night with a bill close to 3k. People are left disappointed as main dishes lamb and branzino came both way too salty. It was inedible and unacceptable. One of my guests is ex chef and he could not eat these dishes. Amongst all appetizers, pizzas, pastas and main dishes that we ate the best was caesar salad. That explains everything. Chef sucks as he ruined beautiful fish and meet with that amount of salt.
First time trying this place.
We tried roasted Marrow Bone, peruvian Scallop, Beef Tartare Crostino and others. Wow..food was amazing. Definitely #1 restaurant in LA. Service also good.

We sat at the counter. Pizza was awesome. Would suggest the one with spicy lamb sausage. Cavatelli was amazing as were the other pasta dishes we tried. All to be further outdone by the donut dessert which was light and fluffy!

Bestia is an Italian restaurant that does have great service and a decent ambience. It's food although, was also decent, but it just was not up to par with some other expensive Italian restaurants. I found that the dessert was the best part of my meal. I ordered the roasted bone marrow and that was good but my main course of pasta ended up having a bone in it and it crunched on my teeth. My server took this off my bill but the food just didn't have the wow factor for the price and portion size. Not to mention my girlfriend ordered a glass of wine that was supposed to just be basic $15 Pinot noir and we were charged $35. This wine was basic and not a fancier wine for that price. Decent at best for Bestia.

I went the other week for my mother-in-law's birthday and it was my first time sitting inside in awhile (it was a little chilly out, but they do have those tall heaters). It was less noisy that I remember inside which was a plus! We were a party of 5 and ordered the following:-Peruvian scallop crudo (loved the scallop, sauce not so much)-Beef tartare crostino-Roasted marrow bone (2x) - a big fave, love the gnocchetti! -'Nduja pizza (sooo good) -Burrata pizza -Chestnut & Mushroom Agnolotti (pretty sweet, not for me)-Cavatelli alla norcina *** must-get for truffle lovers!-Squid ink chitarra We topped it off with the coffee & donuts dessert! I've been to Bestia at all hours of the night an it's always so so busy. Great vibes, a little hard to hear inside if you're sitting by the bar. If you're there for date night, I suggest making reservations for outside.

Really nice vibe and a cool outdoor area. That being said, it's overrated for what it is. Can probably get better food in many places.

Great service and super fun environment! Favorite was the bone Maro pasta, if you go for the black squid ink pasta with lobster tell the chef to go easy on the salt! Cocktails were delish. Leave a few extra minutes for the valet. ENJOY!
Modern Italian dishes, lively atmosphere!
I met a friend here for a late dinner and it is a very lively and fun place. You will definitely need a reservation because it is really popular and seats tend to stay full until your reservation time. It is located in an industrial area (converted warehouses, etc) but the inside is very clean with an industrial/modern decor. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. The menu is based on “family style” so you should plan to have 2-4 dishes for a couple. We shared the bone broth and muscles for starters and they were both great. Each dish is a new take on classic Italian recipes. Everything I saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing so try something new if you aren’t sure. They won’t disappoint!

The place is a lot of fun and the food is amazing, tough to get a reservation so plan ahead. The pizza, pasta and the whole fish all good choices.

This was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. The appitizers, pizza, and pasta were excellent. I would definitely go there again if I go to Los Angeles again.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
