Everything here is simply fabulous! You could literally just order the bread and butter, and have the best experience. Not only does this restaurant have fabulous owners, but the staff is very friendly as well. whenever my family comes to visit this is the first place they want to eat when they land.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious!! So happy this is a mile from my house.
The pizza, the bread, the food in general is phenomenal!!

the waitress with the tattoos is extremely inappropriate, disrespectful, and insulting. she kept making rude and disgraceful comments towards my daughter the entirety of our dinner. it was not only awkward, but disgusting behavior that left our entire dinner party uncomfortable and unsettled.i was in utter shock that a server could even think that these remarks were appropriate and was overall ashamed and embarrassed by this behavior. will not be coming back. meatballs were nasty too.

Bettina is a fantastic pizza place that serves some of the best pizzas in town. They offer unique combinations of toppings that are always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly, and Zack, who works at the bar, is always willing to recommend a great bottle of wine. They also have a fantastic deal during happy hour, which is everyday until 5:30pm, where you can buy a bottle of wine and get a margarita pizza for free. And don't forget to try their chocolate chip cookie - it's simply divine! Overall, Bettina is a must-visit for pizza lovers looking for a delicious and unique pizza experience.
Be the first to ReplyBettina is one of my favorite places to dine in Santa
Bettina is one of my favorite places to dine in Santa Barbara! To start, we tried the Riviera sunset and blueberry fizz mocktails. The blueberry fizz was a little too sweet for my taste, but the Riviera sunset was a winner with its balanced ginger flavor. For appetizers, we ordered the seasonal burrata antipasto. The jelly film on top had a horseradish/wasabi taste that was a little unusual, but the burrata itself was fantastic. The bread that came with it was also super soft and perfect. However, the real standout for me was the sweet potatoes. I order them every time I come here and they never disappoint. The starchy, smooth potatoes perfectly complemented the slightly salty sauce. For the main course, we ordered the Rotolo pasta and Campo and prosciutto pizza. The Rotolo exceeded my expectations with its milky, creamy sauce and perfectly textured pasta. The Campo and prosciutto pizza had a thin crust, which is my preference, and the baked prosciutto had a satisfying chewiness.Lastly, we had the olive oil cake for dessert. It was a great way to end the meal with its smooth and cakey texture. While it was a basic cake, it was executed perfectly.Overall, I highly recommend Bettina for its cozy ambiance and delicious food!
Be the first to ReplyFood was good.
..Would've been even better had we had a warmer atmosphere where our food wouldn't freeze before we ate it. We had asked several times if the cracked door could be closed as it was blowing extremely hard wind directly towards us...first attempt they didn't even do anything about it they just said it had to be open for the pizza oven but they would ask the manager *didn't happen. Btw (there was a whole other close door in the back side of the restaurant where there was NO guests sitting near but they refused to open those), second attempt they went to ask the manager and she literally LAUGHED and said no?! The host continued to explain that it just needed to be open but couldn't seem to at accommodate by changing the open door to the opposite swinging door to keep the cold wind off of us-mind you the door wasn't open until about 15min after we had sat down...None of it made sense and just made us want to leave after being treated like shit. What a shame that such a good place can have such immature shitty people working there and completely ruin the experience...(most of the staff were really nice) front of house and the wannabe joke of a manager were so unprofessional to say the least... Bummer we won't be returning or recommending this place again..
Be the first to ReplyBettina is a modern American restaurant in the Montecito
Bettina is a modern American restaurant in the Montecito Country Mart in Santa Barbara County. It's one of those low key type of single story outdoor malls which doesn't look like much but houses a number of luxe and creative small businesses.Bettina primarily serves world class wood fired naturally leavened pizza that is delicious and interesting in an understated and classic way. Their other dishes are very tasty as well. We ordered:*Sweet potatoes served with a charred scallion dip-ask for a side of the spicy Calabrian chile aioli and dip away *Burrata & Pepperonata served with preserved lemon and pine nuts-so so creamy and oozing *Meatlovers Pizza *King Trumpet Mushroom Pizza *Passionfruit Pavlova Pizzas are the main event but the other dishes make it an entire complete meal. Well pizza can be a complete meal too to be clear.Ordered ocktails followed by a bottle of Pierre Gimmonet & Fils,l Champagne. Great wine list. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and professional service by the entire front of house staff. I'll be back soon.
Be the first to ReplyHad a reservation for dinner on a Saturday night.
We had to wait a bit for them to set up our table. The woman at the front was very nice and accommodating. I think she went above and beyond for customer service. We ordered:- sweet potatoes- little gem salad- lobster ravioli (off menu)- pepperoni pizza- passionfruit pavlovaOverall the food was okay, not amazing but also not terrible. My favorite dishes were the lobster ravioli and the sweet potato appetizer. Our least favorite dish was the passionfruit pavlova for sure, not our thing.

Absolutely one of the best pizzas we've had in Southern California. Thin crust, wood fired, great char and chew to the crust. Slightly spicy pepperoni, curled just right! We got the meat lovers, the meatballs and a Caesar salad. We cleaned all three plates. Very well designed space too and friendly service. It was busy even though it was lunch and we arrived almost right when they opened. We'll definitely be back!

A solid experience! Came here for a belated Valentine's Day dinner and left satisfied. Started with the sweet potatoes and loved them! It came with a cream cheese sauce that paired nicely with the sweet potatoes. Got the lemon-sausage pizza based on a recommendation from the server - hands-down the best pizza of the night. Didn't think I would like the lemon but was presently surprised by its interacting flavors with the sausage. Got a meat pizza as well, though it was not as good as the other pizza & was a bit on the oily side. Would come back again!

Many people rave about Bettina, and it has a Michelin Bib Gourmand rating, which is our guiding star. However, the two take-out pizzas we ordered last night were exceedingly disappointing. The toppings were far from generous. The sausage pizza had about eight very small pea-sized pieces of sausage on it. The chanterelle mushroom pizza a similar quantity of mushroom. That's about two tiny pieces per slice, which means most mouthfuls don't contain the topping you purchased. When I order a pizza with a certain topping, I want the topping to be a significant presence, not something I have to look hard for to find - especially when they costs $30 each!! The owners need to get back in the kitchen and make sure they are being properly and generously topped. For $30, I want topping on every bite - is that too much to ask?
Be the first to ReplyBettina is a fantastic pizza spot with a great happy hour
Bettina is a fantastic pizza spot with a great happy hour deal that can't be beaten. If you purchase a bottle of wine during happy hour, you'll receive a free Margherita pizza - and let me tell you, it's delicious! The crust is perfectly crisp and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. But what really sets Bettina apart is their bartender, Zac. He's super friendly and knowledgeable about wine, always giving great recommendations to pair with our food. The atmosphere is perfect for a quick bite with friends or family. Overall, I highly recommend Bettina for its amazing pizza and exceptional service.

*for more pics and reviews follow @venividivicifoodie on Instagram*Lunch today was at Bettina in Montecito. A super trendy, but quaint spot with AMAZING pizza and a chef out of Brooklyn. Some of the best we've ever had, in fact. Airy, chewy, but not doughy, the crust sets the standard for Neapolitan pizza. I was surprised by the amount of grease, but couldnt care less! The white bean and prosciutto soup was lively and complex. But the 'nduja (chorizo's cousin) stuffed dates with sea salt were really incredible bites. I love stuffed or wrapped dates and these are standouts, for sure! No wonder Michelin loves this pizzeria, awarding it Bib Gourmond status.

Carly was such a sweetheart and went out of her way to take care of me. The non-alcoholic cocktail was delish and so was the pizza! There was a slight mixup that was my fault and she made up for it ten-fold!!! Thank you Carly for a great experience.

We were not able to make a reservation, but the host and hostess went out of their way to make us feel welcome so we could enjoy our takeout order. The gluten free crust was soft and chewy, which was really good. We will definitely visit again, but plan ahead with a reservation!
Be the first to ReplyFood was really good.
Service was rude. They serve Italian food and had to check to see if there was enough ingredients to serve our party of nine. At least the person who brought us the food was friendly. It was almost as if they wanted to go home early.

Sit at the bar if a table isn't readily available!

stopped by to eat here after reading online is was a great brick-oven pizza spot. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza and when we got home it was absolutely covered in pepperoni!!! I mean, it honestly should have had like 5% of what was on it never seen a pizza like this lol we thought we were being Punk'd (we did not order extra pepperoni) and just covered in grease. It was not eatable will not be coming back here again. see pics.

Food is good but hospitality is subpar, rude staff, and overpriced for what it is. Management should figure out how to hire properly. Hostess and waitresses seem like they could be detrimental to the business. I read other comments and it seems to be a reoccurring theme.
Be the first to ReplyThe freshest margherita pizza I've ever had.
It was love at first bite. You can taste the frsh tomatoes. Soo good. Will definitely eat here again.
