Delightful Morning Dive
Amazing flavors, crazy high prices, small portions, delightful service, simple refreshing atmosphere, predictable menu with just a couple surprises, and accommodating enough for our group of eight dropping in for Sunday brunch. Noticed an odd lack, at these prices, of gluten and dairy free options, unusual menu with biscuit or none dividing most entrees, we did fine but my buddy realized too late his nine dollar drop of oatmeal had granola on it which with his dire allergy to pistachio demanded a polite request for a replacement. I was thankful how nice and easy another nut free portion showed up. It's rich and creamy however needs some gold leaf at the price point, like my kid sized shrimp and grits. All our dishes were at best half the amount for my Indiana food expectations. At least this restaurant has their system down to a refined science, we started in line outside but it moved along quickly. They set us up indoors, felt special to time the rush well enough to all sit together. Our orders appeared quickly, my brown sugar oat milk coffee latte was the only budget friendly item on our table. Easy to drink and well balanced, on the sweet side as most brown sugar drinks are, went so well with the bonuts: incredible mascarpone topped dream cakes diet sized and ideally dipped in rich blueberry sauce. Those were easily the breakfast winner. My shrimp was sparingly added to my small dish, fine southern cooking meets Nashville real estate. The others did combos of biscuits and gravy, hot chicken, and scrambled eggs. Our white boy thought the hot chicken was way too hot, blessed me to take over, and I loved it! A nice sized bird dipped in the red sauce ripe to match Hattie B's, a solid fix for any morning, others must have thought so too with theirs as it all disappeared quickly. There's little to fault this popular morning appetite fix, good rewards program to help the prices, super good staff, and hot spot location.
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere and great food!!
The Egg plate that I ordered and the East Nasty that my wife had were excellent! We also ate the Bonuts as well”dessert.” First time here but definitely not my last!
Be the first to ReplyReally good!
Visited here one morning for breakfast whilst visiting Nashville and having heard recommendations for this place. There was a large line, but don’t let that put you off, it went down quickly, and the ordering process was efficient, we were seated within a few minutes out on the patio. We opted for the Biscuit Donuts (Bonuts) to start topped with lemon cream and a blueberry sauce, these were really good! We then opted for the Biscuits topped with Nashville Chicken along with Biscuits topped with the famous Sausage Gravy. Both options were good, but the star of the show was the Nashville Hot Chicken, which was so tasty, tender, and juicy. Sadly, the sausage gravy wasn’t the warmest, but we still enjoyed the flavor. We love biscuits, but we were disappointed by the biscuits here – despite the entire restaurant being based around biscuits. These biscuits are trying to be different, more modern and are more like a flaky puff pastry than a normal doughy cakey biscuit you would know. Although we enjoyed them, we both said that we would have preferred an actual normal biscuit, and you shouldn’t try to change what works!
Be the first to ReplyNot that great from the wait
The chicken was so delicious but this place is called biscuit love so you’d think the biscuits would be light and fluffy and perfect just like grandmas but you would be wrong. They were hard and tough to chew so my experience was not a good one! This place is all hype! Staff was nice but food was just ok. Wouldn’t go here again.
Be the first to ReplyDid not live up to expectations.
The woman who took our order looked bored and wasn’t especially friendly. The piece of chicken on my biscuit was tough and half of it was inedible. The biscuit itself had great buttery flavor, but was not flaky and soft like I hoped. Coffee was very good, but no one offered a refill. Maybe refills on regular coffee aren’t free? My daughter ordered the bubble waffle, but didn’t like their house syrup and they didn’t have any regular maple syrup. All in all I don’t get the hype. It was average at best, and for the price I’d rate it as poor.

Loved Biscuit Love. We were staying in Hillsboro Village so could walk to the restaurant for brunch. We went twice - biscuits are delicious! Had biscuit with eggs and grits. Staff was very nice. Cute gifts. And the lemonade with brown sugar was really good too!
Be the first to ReplyGreat place to have a hearty breakfast
This breakfast hot spot is a great place to indulge in some breakfast classics or try something new and interesting. The name itself says how the biscuits are...filled with love! They are delicious, flaky, buttery goodness. You can have them with butter and jam or filled with eggs and your choice of meat and cheddar cheese. The cinnamon role biscuit us to die for. There are plenty of other choices as well. Get there early or plan on waiting a while. Lines get long fast and the place is kind of small.
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced & not worth it, poor service
We came for breakfast this morning. It’s expensive for starters, and the food is just blah. My boyfriend found a hair in his food, and the waitress simply took it away without saying anything. We didn’t know if she was going to replace it or refund it, but at that point, I couldn’t finish my food. She returned a minute later with a new plate for him, no apology.
Be the first to ReplyFamily friendly!
The people who work there is why I gave it a 5 star. We had never been so they explained the menu to me and my 4 kids. Then, the service was super fast. My youngest’s meal wasn’t ready when everyone else’s was so they brought him a biscuit with jam while he waited. Super friendly!!
Be the first to ReplyYum!
Wonderful and quirky--any style biscuit you could ask for. The restaurant is very small, but the wait time for a table was minimal. I would go back.
Be the first to ReplyWorth the wait, but def go early!!
We were very excited to eat here. We walked there from Downtown (a decent hike, 15-20 minutes) around 9AM we got in line. This was a good time. From end of line to table (after ordering food) was probably 45 minutes. All the food was delicious and coffee was good! It is in a great area (The Gulch location) so we enjoyed walking around.
Be the first to ReplyWorth the wait, but go early to avoid it
My husband put this restaurant on our must do list for our Nashville vacation. We tried to go Friday around 10, but the line was out the door (you have to wait in line, then order then go sit down) so we went on Saturday early, like 7:30. No line and we were served less than 10 minutes after ordering. My husband got the Nashville hot chicken biscuit and I got the Lily (biscuit French toast with strawberry compote). It was all delicious. the biscuits are legit, as is the sweet tea with nugget ice.
Be the first to ReplyReally heavy breakfast, unpleasant queue
The system is that you have to queue before you go to the table and so everybody is looking at the menu in front of the cash till. It makes you stressed if you do not know the menu and do not want to make others wait. The biscuits are really nice but really heavy as is everything that accompanies him. I liked to try it once but would not return.
Be the first to ReplyGreat biscuits!!!
You have to try this place for breakfast if you're nearby. They have great biscuits and B-rolls (cinnamon rolls made out of biscuit dough). The line can be long during the weekend.

Went to Biscuit Love yesterday with a gf and got the nasty princess (Spicy fried chicken thigh on a biscuit with sausage gravy and cheese). Absolutely delicious. Food came fast, they have fresh squeezed juice for your mimosa and the fried donut dish they have was phenomenal!
Be the first to ReplyThe Food Was Fantastic!
First time there and the food was fantastic. There was a bit of line but not bad, but it apparently gets very busy on the weekend so plan ahead. My son said it was the best sandwich he had ever had. Not pricey at all for downtown Nashville. I live an hour and a half away and I am already planning my next trip down there for some breakfast!
Be the first to ReplyGood Breakfast
We came here to get a quick bite before hitting the road. The food was good, I got the Princess biscuit and it was good, but I think it would have been better if it was chicken breast instead of chicken thigh. The brown sugar lemonade was good as well. Only think I didn't like was that they give you a table number after you order and you have to go sit at that table. My cousin and his family were sat far from us so that was a bummer. Other than that, it was a good breakfast.
Be the first to ReplyThe biscuits are good
Arrived early on a Saturday morning before the line got rolling. Friendly counter service with complete answers to all our first time questions. Assigned a freshly cleaned/sanitized table. Tasty cold brew and hot coffee. My wife and I both ordered the egg plates. I was over medium and my wife over easy (no comments). The nailed both egg temps. The biscuits were very good. Square which is so efficient, crusty, buttery, salty tops with soft but cooked centers. Sausage patties with a nice mild late heat. The grits were disappointing and sad, very pasty and flavorless. It's a southern must to nail them all day long. Reccomended Slainte
Be the first to ReplyJust NEW!!! Something called a "Gertie"
We got to be the FIRST EVER to order an AMAZING dessert called The Gertie. You do NOT want to pass this up! Perfect combination of biscuit, banana, homemade peanut butter sauce and heath bits. Absolutely perfect!!
Be the first to ReplyYummy!
Good food! Biscuit and gravy was yummy. The cinnamon roll and coffee is delicious too! Definitely worth trying! Get there early to beat the line.
