When I heard about this place, I was not ready for the absolute deliciousness I encountered. I was thinking of a Mcd's gross doughy biscuit, not the flakey god-like goodness that I received here...mind blown! The set up is not what New Yorkers are use to, there's an entrance, where u immediately stand in line. When you get to the front, you place your order, pay, and then they seat you. I ordered a Southern Benny, which is an open faced biscuit with shaved ham, 2 eggs over easy and gravy. TRUST ME ITS THE BEST THING YOUVE EVER HAD. My husband got the Princess, with a piece of "hot chicken" on his biscuit, and, to top it all off, the most delicious fresh squeezed OJ that would make Florida jealous. Run, don't walk to this place.

Amazing cheese grits! The staff was very friendly and they kept the coffee coming. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, and as an Okie, I do know a thing or two about gravy. Their biscuits were on the dense and crispy side; if big fluffy biscuits are your thing, these may not be for you. The denser, crispy biscuits must be a Tennessee thing. They were still tasty.
Be the first to ReplyI've had good meals there in the past but not today.
Wait was about 20 minutes. I ordered the SEC. The biscuit was cold and hard - almost needed a knife to cut it. Definitely not fresh. The sausage was luke warm and the egg on top was cold also. The gravy saved it a bit as it was hot. We spent $140 for five of us. Service was good and servers were pleasant. I won't go back to the Gulch location. Plenty of other good places in Nashville.

Looking for southern biscuit goodness? This is the place for you. Has the feel of 12 south mixed with a southern diner. There are a myriad of biscuit sandwiches to choose, or you can just have it by itself. Whichever way you choose is delicious. The biscuit is so soft and flaky and so delicious. Then for the east nasty you add a perfectly prepared piece of fried chicken and some of the best gravy you've ever had, and it's a meal you never want to end. Oh and they make doughnut bites from the same dough as their biscuits. Those are as incredible as you might think, especially dipping them in the homemade jam they come with.

There's a reason why this place is a must in Nashville, it's so so good!! This location is far less crowded which I loved. Get the grapefruit, it tastes like candy!

Wow, awesome experience @ Biscuit Love in Hillsboro Staff was so nice & accommodating. Great breakfast food Highly recommend this stop when in Nashville. 5 Stars
Be the first to ReplyThis staple was on our list when visiting Nashville.
We picked this location because it seemed less frequented in comparison to the original location so we were hoping to get service quicker. We didn't wait long perhaps 15/20 minutes. The restaurant was well lit with natural lighting throughout which I really appreciated. We ordered: The B-Roll (10/10) - this was delicious. The bun itself was hot and gooey and just pulled apart, the pecan sticky bun sauce was tasty and sweet, while the pecans gave it a nice crunch to the texture. Plain Biscuit (5/5) - We had to try the actual biscuit solo since neither of our dishes consisted. It was flaky and buttery. The jam wasn't needed but it certainly was a nice addition to add a pop of sweetness. Bill Neal's Shrimp and Grits (6.5/10) - the grits were tasty, creamy and smooth. The shrimp were interestingly small, like dime size so I can't account for whether they were seasoned well or not because they were so small and had a very low impact on the dish. There was a gravy on the dish that packed a good amount of flavor with the green onion and mushroom. There was just nothing to make me say I needed to get that dish again. Chicken & B-Waffles (4/10) - the chicken was simply not Korean fried chicken. It was fried chicken in Korean sauce, that's different. Korean fried chicken is super crispy because potato starch is added to its batter and the chicken is fried twice. This second frying also cooks off the excess water in the chicken from the first frying, allowing it to stay extra crispy for a long time, even with a glazed surface. This wasn't that. Additionally, whatever batter was used didn't hold well as half way through the dish, I was picking up pieces of chicken only to find the batter left on the waffle underneath. Secondly, a bubble waffle is tricky to start with because they don't have the texture and fluff of a normal waffle so it's important to get the batter right, this waffle was flavorless. Note: If you're just going for the biscuits and to-shares, it's a 5 star experience. However, I personally like the complete package and if I had to chose I mainly go for the entree's. Based on what we ordered, where one entree was a "customer favorite" and the other a new addition to the menu, I could only give them 3/5 stars.

Food is really good. This time wait/host staff was ridiculously rude. Felt really unwelcome.

Took a lot for me to even write a review as this is the first yelp review I have ever made but because I was so disappointed by the service and management I felt It was necessary. I got the "new" veggie bowl that was $15. For the money I paid I got 1 biscuit, 1 egg, and sauce with very few zucchini pieces. As It is supposed to come with peppers, feta cheese, etc. I do not eat meat and this meal wouldn't have filled me up even a 1/4th of the way. As much as I didn't want to I took the food back and the Manager was SO unprofessional. She was short, didn't give me the time or day, or offer an apology(not that I even expected one) but as a Manager you try and make up for the dissatisfaction... my first time trying Biscuit Love and I at least know now I will never be coming back.

Came for brunch on Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised that the wait was not as long as we thought it would be and the line moved quite fast. I got the egg plate and we got the B-roll to share. Both of those were amazing and definitely hit the spot! You should definitely come here if you're looking for an awesome brunch spot!
Be the first to ReplySo yum! Worth the wait.
And that mimosa was kicking in the right way!! We will be back.
Be the first to ReplyGet there early as you can, because the line can get long.
However, any wait is worth it! Try the princess for some delicious biscuit and hot chicken. Everything was great including the Bloody Mary that is one of my favorites. Once you order the food comes quick and service is good.
Be the first to ReplyFast service and good food.
I had biscuits and gravy and it was delicious. My son got French toast biscuit and he licked his plate clean.

Some weird things - I'm a buttermilk biscuit girl, and this was a crunchy biscuit situation. I'd probably not choose to eat their biscuits again but the service was good, the restaurant was packed and the coffee was eh. It was a great idea - but at least a B for me. Just not my style. I'd give it a second chance and I'd choose another dish.

For President's Day brunch at 10am we were happy to see only a few people standing outside the door in line at Biscuit Love (also seems like a poor system for a restaurant that gets so much business). The decor was very cute and they had a lot of good merch to browse while waiting in line. We ordered the veggie bowl and the egg plate - both were good, but the biscuit was a little hard. If you are someone who likes big portions/leftovers this is not the place for you.

We were surprised that there wasn't many people here on a Sunday morning at 9 am but after a semi ok breakfast I could see why. It's a cute restaurant and the staff is friendly though. We tried the SEC and the shrimp and grits. The biscuit has very hard and pretty flavorless. That was surprising since biscuit is in the name.... The shrimp and grits weren't really much to speak of either. The only highlight was the bonuts. They were amazing. We just wanted water to drink which apparently is frowned open because you have to get it yourself and refill it because they only have small cups for that. A water pitcher at your table would be nice. Overall we wouldn't go again and found it overpriced and lacking in good breakfast food.

don't get me wrong, the food here is really good, but we had to wait like 30-45 mins to get inside and seated. I don't think its worth the wait, as fort worth has similar options without the wait. We ended up getting the bonuts, princess w/ egg and cheese grits. Getting the above will knock out appetizers, entree and dessert. The bonuts are fried dough with jam and mascarpone and they come in 5. Definitely a nice thing to try. The princess is nashville hot chicken on top of a biscuit. We opted to order an egg on top. This was really good, and hit the spot. I'd recommend getting this if you do decide to come here. And the cheese grits was a side item, and it wasn't really worth it. The cheese grits were really small and it was 4 bucks. I honestly could've finished the whole cheese grits in 5 bites. For water, there is a water machine that is self served. After the people bring you food, i don't think they come around to check in on you anymore. As for parking, there is a paid parking lot right across the street. Street parking is near impossible to find. all in all, delicious food, but don't think its worth the wait.

Just stumbled on them one morning in Nashville after an over night stay. They weren't even where we originally planned to eat and I am sooooo thankful we found them! I LOVE Sausage gravy! They had the best I have had since I moved to Alabama 4 years ago. They will always be a stop for us when we are in Nashville
Be the first to ReplyThe first time I tried the food here, it was fine.
..but I did not think it was anything special. I decided to give it a try again and got take out and it was really tasty! The biscuit was so buttery and the bacon was thick cut which was perfect! I recommend getting some jelly to add to it!
Be the first to ReplyOur favorite breakfast stop by far.
Have been going here every time we are in Nashville!!!! Always worth it. The food is excused the service is great.

If you want people to use your on line menu, why would you password protect your guest wifi? I couldn't get the menu to come up on my phone and no wifi password provided. I needed information on gluten free options and the order taker just kept directing me back to the QR code at the back of a long line for the on line menu which I had already told her I was unable to access. I gave up and ordered eggs and bacon which should always be gluten free. It was a less than great experience. The food was fine. My family enjoyed their meal. I have had great experiences with finding gluten free options here in Nashville. This was definately not one of them though.

Not only is this place sooooo delicious but the atmosphere is relaxed and a very chilled vibe. The food is great with portions that are perfect, this is great because you will want to clean the plate! This is a early morning must and will give any day a great start!
Be the first to ReplyThe food was really good and priced fairly.
There was a long line but they do their best to keep it moving. Our party showed up at different times and they were able to still sit with us since they place their order at check in.The food comes out really quickly and the gravy on the biscuit was really good.We picked this location since it's further away from broadway and wasn't as crowded. It's just a $6 Lyft ride from broadway area.
Be the first to ReplyThe place is a nice medium size eatery.
Ordered the shrimp and grits. The fish was good and spicy. Also ordered a side of potatoes. They were a little salty. They have a self serve water station. I like that there is a choice of sparkling or water. The staff is very nice. Come earlier if you want to avoid the lines. The plate size isn't huge so come ready to eat but remember it's not a buffet unless youre willing to pay 20 dollars a plate.
