Tucked away in the lower level of the convention center is this truly wonderful Trattoria. The service staff was excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly. The wine list is extensive and the menu had a great variety of choices. I love Milanese and they had a chicken Milanese which was lovely. The atmosphere here is relaxed and the decor was very charming. One of the best meals I have had in Las Vegas. You must try this place.

My wife and I travel to the Strip from North West Las Vegas just to have Jidori Chicken Parmigiano. This restaurant is the only restaurant in Las Vegas that serves Chicken Parmigiana made with Jidoro chicken. However, it's a gamble that the Chicken will be cooked properly. Today the chicken overcooked. We should have stayed at our local Italian restaurant. However, if you're lucky enough to have the Chicken Parmigiana here that is properly cooked, you won't find Chicken Parmigiana better ANYWHERE.

The Trattoria is inside the Ahern Hotel. A little off the strip but not that far. Went here for breakfast and it's not busy. Like the quiet ambiance. Not sure during dinner time. Food was great. Sourdough waffles was soft but crunchy. Perfect for light breakfast. Price was decent in my opinion.

what a wonderful dinner we had for New Year's Eve this year! I had a vegetarian option for the five course meal and my husband ate the regular five course meal. Both were absolutely superb, the atmosphere was beautiful and elegant in the service was amazing. Everybody was super friendly and nice we had the best experience and would recommend this restaurant!

We weren't expecting such wonderful food, when we decided to try the restaurant as we didn't want to drive and we're staying at the Ahern. The pasta is all homemade in house fresh everyday. The service stellar. Antoinette was our server and she was superb. We highly recommend this restaurant.

She loves Italian so we came here and were super excited. Yes it is a little bit off the beaten track but it is soooooo worth it!Ambience is perfect and the seating is super comfortable. Service was incredible. Requested our server make a choice for my daughters drink and he came up with something out of the box and fabulous. House Cabernet was also great. Caprese salad, garlic bread, and Alfredo were all delicious and provided plenty of padding for the alcohol!! They also granted my daughter dessert on the house for her 21st!

We made reservations for 5:00 and when we walked in, we were the only table. Our table ordered garlic bread and it was tasty. I wasn't very hungry, so only ordered the Caprese salad. It was really good. My friends got the fettuccine Alfredo and I tasted a couple bites and it was one of the best pastas I've ever had. (I might have been a tad bit jealous!) We had a birthday at our table and she got a free dessert. She chose the coffee tiramisu. We all truly enjoyed it! Our server and the staff were all very attentive and everything was fantastic. We asked why there was no one there since it was so delicious and were told that they had a new chef and we're just doing a soft opening. She said their grand opening would be coming soon. If I was you I wouldn't wait. Get there!

Went here for an office holiday party last week, this place was certainly NOT up to Chef Marc's standards!! Group of 7 and nobody's meal was better than mediocre at best!! Spaghetti and burnt meatballs??!! If you can't get spaghetti and meatballs right you just as well close the doors. Shrimp scampi has always been my favorite, (clearly with Chef Marc)but this was awful!! No sauce, noodles all stuck together, shrimp was dry on top. Wow!! Garlic bread was soggy and way too much butter, you could wring it out!! Carrot cake was straight from a stale buffet about a week old!! This place is a joke!! Never going to last....sad!!

Recently replacing Marc Sgrizzi's 6th restaurant in the past decade Trattoria by Chef Joel will soon be reformatting inside the Ahern Hotel, but on Saturday four guests sat down for a look at whats to eat on the tasting menu overlooking an open kitchen. Not a new Restaurant as opposed to basic rebranding, Joel Ott’s name replacing Marc on the marquis in Ahern’s lobby, it is alongside construction curtains that diners will find tables plus a counter suggesting what looks to have previously been a Buffet. Familiar with Ott from the Four Seasons, a pleasant man happy to discuss ideas present and future, Trattoria’s Tasting menu features straight-forward Italian Fare alongside “flights” of Wine that see everything described and poured at once with numbering to pair each with a course. Using a mix of robots and staff to serve, though the counter utilizes Ahern’s culinary team, course one offered a Beets and Burrata Salad followed by Spanish Octopus a bit overcooked alongside crispy Potatoes. Not sure if the Tasting changes frequently, all items served essentially portioned down from Trattoria’s usual list, the “Chicago-style” Calzone impressed all despite criticism from a supposed Deep Dish expert while the Meatball at its side was crumbly thanks to too much cooking time just like the Cheese on top. Improved with housemade Pasta, Osso Buco Ravioli reminiscent of Batali’s famous Beef Cheek version, Chef Ott’s Chicken Parmesan elevates a classic by cooking it extra thin and crispy beneath vibrant Tomato Sauce also served atop Rigatoni. Surf n’ Turf to finish, Prime NY Strip and Wild Shrimp prepared Scampi-style each cooked flawlessly, Dessert may not scream “Trattoria” but it is nonetheless successful with Carrot Cake and Sticky Toffee Pudding both better than most in Las Vegas and Irish Cream Chocolate Mousse Cake an unexpected winner.

This restaurant is in the Ahern Hotel. When we went it wasn’t very busy. We were seated right away and were greeted by our server. It was a leisurely meal. The server was attentive but not smothering. The food was very good. I had the spaghetti and meatball and the meatball was huge. My husband had the chicken Alfredo dish. He felt that there was too much spinach in the dish. For dessert they had some traditional offerings - carrot cake, tiramisu, and cheesecake - as well as some new ones. We went with cheesecake and the carrot cake which were both delicious.

Trattoria by Chef Marc was recommended to us recently while on vacation in Vegas. It is off the strip but worth the visit. The restaurant is big and open. The menu had lots of options and the food was delicious & Service was great. We had the charred Octopus, bufalo caprese salad and the garlic bread - so good. Followed by the homemade pasta with short ribs (deconstructed Lasagna) , the chicken parm with pasta. It was our anniversary and they brought us out a piece of Tiramisu on the house What a great meal

They have lots of space and are willing to work with you. I needed to seat over 20 people on a Friday night and thought I would never find anywhere willing to take us but Chef Marc personally called me back and made it work. It was great! The food was really good and very reasonably priced. The service was fabulous! Chef Marc really takes pride in his food and restaurant. Great place!!

We did the 5 course tasting menu sitting at the bar overlooking the kitchen. 5 amazing courses while talking with the chefs prepare each course. Let me just say it's worth every cent. Each course is amazing by itself, and together it's an epiphany. Pure foodie heaven. 2 days later, I went back. Utica greens and Chicken Riggies ( not on <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fthe.menu&s=655339954e543704c5dd6ad04ed684ab3ee04528c5c362bbb9c2454ae251d4f5" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">the.menu</a>, but a central NY staple) Pure heaven again. Chef Marc , Jose, and all the kitchen staff are dialed in and nailed every dish. I might go back to Vegas just to visit again. Don't pass it up.

The restaurant was beautiful and being able to see the Chefs at work is always cool.My date had the shrimp scampi and the shrimp were HUGE(yes I know that's an oxymoron). I had the wild boar and was disappointed in the flavor as it was extremely salty.

Husband and I shared steak and salad. Don's salad is so good. It had these crunchy crushed croutons sprinkled on it that were really good. They showed us the 2 steak cuts available. The tomahawk is gigantic and can be shared amongst 3 people. We got the smaller strip steak medium rare. It was very juicy and well seasoned. They even split the mashed potatoes to two plates instead of just giving us an empty plate for sharing. We also got a side of pasta (you can choose the type of hand made pasta) with marinara sauce. I added red pepper flakes for extra zing. There isn't a kid's menu but they were great with my very picky daughter by making a side of pasta with just butter and parmesan cheese. She also liked the complementary bread. We also got dessert. Chocolate Gelato for my daughter. Husband and I shared the delicious carrot cake. Easy seating at 5 pm. Attentive waiters. And it's always a plus when the chef walks around to each table to greet you or answer questions. Makes such a big restaurant more homey and a place you'd want to come back to.

THIS WAS AN EXCEPTIONAL DINING EXPERIENCE!I took my honey to Chef Marc's restaurant to celebrate his 39th birthday and we both decided to order the Chef's tasting. It was a multi-course meal and because we have no preferences or dietary restrictions, we allowed the chef to choose what he served us.We were seating at a high-top counter facing the open kitchen, and the dishes came in a very timely manner with about 5-10 minutes in between courses. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING, my particular favorites were the mushroom risotto, the branzino, and the carrot cake! I have been dining with Chef Marc for about decade, all the the way back to when his restaurant was called Parma and located off Buffalo and Washington. He was unfortunately out for the evening, but his staff was top notch. Hats off to his sous chef and team!!! The food was delicious, of course, but the service and conversation was even better! Thank you for a wonderful experience.If you're looking for authentic and FRESH Italian cuisine, please give Chef Marc's Trattoria a visit!

Our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas, tucked into the Ahern Hotel. Relaxing ambiance.and food that never fails to impress!

We started with garlic bread and an appetizer of “Utica Greens”. The garlic bread was perfectly crispy crusted, with a buttery garlic and cheese that perfectly paired with the Utica greens, a delicious appetizer of sautéed escarole, cheese and breadcrumbs, and a little kick of hot peppers. We opted for #2”heat” - just enough spice to enhance the flavor without burning the tastebuds.

Then we moved to the main course - I had chicken parmigiana- a huge, lightly breaded cutlet in a delicious red sauce with what seemed to be several different cheeses which just enhanced the very tender and juicy chicken. The side of pasta was perfect as well. Unlike so many restaurants that plop “naked” pasta on a plate and top with a little sauce, this portion was evenly tossed in sauce and cooked al dente. My husband had the riggies with sausage in a red sauce. The portion was large with an excellent sausage.

We finished the meal with an amazing dessert of cheesecake and homemade chocolate and vanilla gelato. The cheesecake is one of my favorites, but I’ve got to say, the chocolate gelato was so rich and creamy, it was difficult for me not to lick the plate clean - lol!

Service was excellent! We never once had to flag the waitstaff for water or ice tea refills. The wine list is impressive. Yet, despite a very nice crowd, every time we’ve been there, no one hovers over your table as if to hurry you along.

This time we saw a large party celebrating a birthday, several groups of business people, and definitely many couples. The ambiance is very relaxing, and while there’s background music, it’s not so loud you have a hard time carrying on a conversation. All in all a lovely spot to dine.

The most important part of any pasta joint is ensuring that the noodles are fresh and cooked properly. I'm happy to report that the noodles were not over cooked and they didn't skimp out on the portions. They provided complimentary bread as well! I was able to customize the penne alla vodka with chicken and asparagus. The egg plant parmigiana was also a hit. Check this place out if you're looking for good food that doesn't break the bank.

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
