Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

It's fine if the sellers are just individuals that can't use the reservation. But just curious: 1. What's preventing people from creating lots of email accounts and write a script to book all the reservations FOR FREE then resale it here? 2. Since restaurants can be partners, can they benefit from the bidding? If so wouldn't this just be ridiculous? So a restaurant can sell reservations just like selling a ticket? Great question! If you haven't already, next time making a reservation, utilize the AT virtual credit card offered to secure your booking through Resy. This virtual card number will travel with the lifespan of the reservation once the booking is sold to another user. Alternatively, another fail-safe option AT offers, is a '1 hour prior to your reservation' notification in case the user has not unlock the booking for use. Which then allows you to cancel to prevent a No Show for the venue!

Thanks for the question! Yes it is completely normal! Once you place your bid, all sellers with a connection to the venue will start to work on fulfilling your desired time and date of the reservation. This process can be instant or may take a few days as most locations are either fully booked or hard to get! Stay tuned!

Hey @HolisticQuestion30, whenever a bid expires, can't be filled or is cancelled by you, your funds are deposited in your AppointmentTrader Main Account in real time so you can use them for another bid instantly and don't have to carry multiple authorizations on your credit card for a number of days. You can access the funds with the credit card number that is shown next to your main account (labeled 'Show Card Number'). The real-time access is also true for any funds you earn from selling or reselling a reservation. You can use this card-number at any place online that accepts credit cards. (Currently limited to USD, multi currency support is planned.) Hey @IlluminatingLip, Yes your card gets charged when you place to bid to secure that the funds are actually there, as many bids are for a future date the amount gets placed in your 'deposit account' (Portfolio->Accounts) but if a bid can't be filled or is cancelled by you while no one is working on it (the AT lingo for a bid that you place for a reservation that you would like to get but no one answers) the amount is moved from the deposit account into your main account so you can instantly use it again, which is cool in the way that you can place 10 bids and instantly reuse the balance amount for other bids once a position can not be filled, without having a bunch of authorizations on your credit card. There is another thread in this forum that answer this question with more detail but here is the blurb: [...] your funds are deposited in your AppointmentTrader Main Account in real time so you can use them for another bid instantly and don't have to carry multiple authorizations on your credit card for a number of days.
