We did the seasonal 9 course meal. Everything was exquisite. The chef came over and talked with us for a bit. It was an all around wonderful experience. I will definitely go back. I am dreaming about the mashed potatoes and the yuzu sauce. Be prepared to spend $700

Joel Robuchon is that true, true 5-star/Michelin type experience. No detail is overlooked. Everything that is served both tastes and looks incredible. Service fit for a king. Being it was my first time there, of course I had to have the tasting menu. It's courses on courses on courses of pure deliciousness. Everything starts with their famous bread course. I thought initially that the bread course only came at the beginning. But it actually comes multiple times, so try to take it easy on the bread even though it's so good. My favorites from the tasting menu: Caviar Imperial (caviar on lobster in a crustacean gel w/ cauliflower puree), seared scallop in green curry with stuffed pasta, truffled langoustine ravioli, caramelized black cod w/ bok choyBraised beef cheeks w/ red miso and whipped potatoes, whole fruit chocolate ganache, and passionfruit cream over coconut sponge and chocolate praline.After all those courses, they hit you with the dessert cart. At that point, I was *so* full, but "powered" through with chocolate mousse macaron, milk chocolate truffle, chocolate eclair. Joel Robuchon is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most people, and it doesn't disappoint even at its stupid expensive price tag.

Best. Meal. Of. My. Life. Every course was exquisite! I ordered the degustation menu. Some courses were rich and delicious; others light and refreshing. After 3 dessert courses, they brought out a dessert cart and asked me if I wanted any additional mini desserts. Of course I said yes! And then after that, they gave me a bag filled with a chocolate chip banana cake and a personalized copy of the menu! Service was amazing! My waiter was French and so kind and polite! This restaurant is a must go to establishment you need to experience at least once in your life!

the entire experience was exceptional + deserving of every accolade. speaking as someone who hasn't had a ton of fine french food, i thought the preparations were stunning, simple, and surprising in the best way possible. overall the best meal i've ever had, from start to finish, and i cannot overstate how much fun we had and how great every single dish, piece of bread and dessert was that nighthow we got here --called the mgm concierge for reservations about 3 months in advance; arrived at 530pm to experience the degustation menu, with the entire meal lasting about 3.5 hours. we cleaned off every crumb and bit of sauce; chef christophe came out to greet us after, and though i left incredibly full, was feeling fantastic the next morning -- which is to say the pacing + portions of each tasting were just perfect for usi had been wanting to eat here for a long, long time, and for this team to have created something that can live up to expectations years in the making is totally incredible. this is art, and a must visit for -- well, you, probably, since you're reading this review and have made it this farthank you for giving us such a wonderful evening; it was a night we will never forget, and we cannot wait to come back with the people we love, over and over again

We chose the main course with 12 dishes and it was amazing! The only dish we didn't like surprisingly was the Caviar which was just beautiful! Other than that everything was tasty and interesting! The restaurant itself is very beautiful and luxurious and the service is of very high standards!

Not sure why it’s had to make a reservation here, when the place is half empty. Made the mistake of not insisting to be seated in the main dining room, which did look nice. We were seated in the “winter garden” off the main dining room, decorated with a wall of plastic ivy and a tacky faux painted ceiling a la Ceasars Palace. Acoustics let us hear every word from our neighbors seated too closely. So cramped that the bread and desert carts did not fit next to our table and I had to turn my head 180 degrees resulting in a third rate service experience. Waiter starts off by explaining that the bread is baked fresh every day — are you kidding me? Then proceeds to tell us our choices will be “warmed up”. Next serving of bread did not get the rewarming treatment. We did not want to go with the $400+ tasting menu, so went with one of the a la carte menus. There, half of the dishes came with a hefty supplement, which was tacky. Seems like they don’t show you the menu in advance online for that reason. Food was okay but not memorable in taste or presentation. Waiter explained that the mashed potatoes were what made Robuchon famous and we thought he was joking. The mashed potatoes tasted like, well, mashed potatoes. The 3 Michelin stars from 2009 are proudly shown at the entrance. Well, it’s 13 years later, the chef has long passed and the restaurant is not even listed in the Michelin guide anymore. Hint: there is a reason why, see above.

Yummy! This place is so delicious and beautiful! So happy we got the chance to try this place because it's one of my favorites. Definitely recommend trying this when in Vegas! We had the 10 course meal and we were so stuffed we had to take a nap before going out. At the end of the meal we had a tour of the back kitchen and was able to meet the chefs who prepared our perfect dinner. It was a lovely experience, thankyou!

We visited this restaurant back in 2018 and decided to re-visit. Yes, it is expensive but we are great believers that you get what you pay for.

Here, it is stunning. Like literally mind-blowing and I would be very surprised if you experience anything like this anywhere else.

We have been to some of London's top restaurants and this is better. In fact, it is the best dining experience we have EVER had...period. I had the taster menu and my wife had the vegetarian version.

To top it off, the staff are incredible and a big shout out to Steve behind the bar who made our experience an even more memorable one.

I am not qualified to talk about how yummy everything was, but for sure they take you on a flavor journey. The wines were exquisitely paired, and the bread and dessert carts a real treat. The appetizer was a standout: crab on top of caviar surrounded by a gel with small caviar-like balls of sauce suspended within. Delicious. At no point in the night did my palette reject what was being served, and each dish surprised in both texture and flavor. If you're into food, this is an experience I can definitely recommend.

We've been to three star Michelin restaurants all around the world but this by far was the most delicious of them all. The service is second to none, from the bartender, to our servers Kit, Angela and Andrew, hospitality reigned down on us from every corner of the room. Troy the sommelier found us the perfect Bordeaux: a 2004 Chateau Palmier Margaux 2005. It was earthy and ethereal. He decanted it which I was nervous to do at first but it blossomed like a gorgeous flower and peaked perfectly in approximately 40 minutes. We loved being able to share some of it with our servers. Definitely come hungry. The degustation menu is expansive and heavenly. My absolute favorite dish was the Ossetra caviar served atop of king crab in a crustacean gelee dotted with cauliflower purée. It's definitely an experience we want to relive. We'll go back over and over every time we're in Las Vegas.

Thought a lot about it, and came to the conclusion that I feel this would be operating a two Michelin star level if rated today.It's a catch-22 when a restaurant crafts itself around the legacy of its deceased chef. Despite how much Robuchon revolutionized food in the 80s and 90s, this trapping prevents it from standing toe-to-toe with the restaurants revolutionizing food today. From the repeated use of traditional aspics, to the huge chandelier in the center of the room, I felt some elements were unnecessarily trapped in the past. I hope that criticism doesn't come across too strongly; I understand it's a stylistic decision on the restaurant's part, and that this is meant to commemorate a chef in ways many other chefs would be lucky to have. There is a lot to like about the restaurant. The plating and preparation were flawless, and of course the marking and clearing were perfect. My personal favorite was the sommelier; he was the best somm I've had the pleasure of encountering at a restaurant. I had the lowest tier wine pairings ($299) alongside my degustation and my partner had the mid-tier ($599). Tasting both these alongside each other made me realize how different the approach was for each price point. Eager to return for the highest level pairing ($999).

This app is filling a void - there's a real market to tap into here. It's just annoying to see some reservations getting sold out here that end up in a no show - the restaurants aren't benefiting in such cases unless they charge a no-show fee. Besides this issue, I'm looking forward to the app community growing and would love to continue to contribute towards it's growth in any way that I can!

Wow! First time using this website/app. It was almost hard to believe the quality of customer service I received as soon as I posted my offer. Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
