It was a pleasure to dine at Joël Robuchon and I can
It was a pleasure to dine at Joël Robuchon and I can confidently say it was an experience of a lifetime. From the moment my husband and I entered, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality set the tone for the entire meal. Our server was exceptional in every way, from his in-depth knowledge of the menu to his attentiveness to our needs throughout the entire meal. He was able to answer all of our questions about the dishes and ingredients, and even offered some great recommendations for my husband who is vegetarian. He was also incredibly personable and made us feel right at home. The server assistants also expertly brought and removed all our dishes in a quick and careful manner. The sommelier possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of wine and expertly paired each course with a perfectly complementary glass. His passion for wine was infectious and added an extra level of enjoyment to the meal. Each selection heightened the flavors of the dishes. He even discussed whiskey with my husband. And then there was the food. Hats off to the chef for creating the best dishes in the country. We were blown away by the artistry and execution of every dish. The flavors were bold, complex, and rich. The presentation of each dish was carefully constructed and beyond beautiful. The tasting menu will take you on an unforgettable journey with the chef. The extra dish that was brought to me was also delicious with a glaze that was silky and delicious. My one regret was that although I was able to finish almost every plate, I left much of La Canette on the plate. It's difficult to choose my favorite dish as the chef truly has a gift for combining ingredients. I would definitely recommend the Menu Dégustation to be able to enjoy every delicate and exquisite dish including the Les Crustacés, Le Foie Gras, Le Black Cod, and the La Canette. The desserts were gorgeous and light capping out the perfect meal. As a vegetarian, my husband also felt the same attention was afforded to every dish he received and remained especially enamored with the risotto and Robuchon's famous potato purée.Overall, our experience was top-notch. Thank you to the absolutely amazing server and sommelier, and incredibly talented chef that made us feel like royalty. I highly recommended this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience, it is a must for anyone visiting Las Vegas.
Tasting menu is to die for and wine pairings were perfect. Some of the best fish and dessert i have ever tasted. Worth the $!!!!!
😍
You spent what? Yes, and I'll do it again.
Three of us dined there for my 60th. My buddy ordered the Vegetarian pre-fix and Village Wine pairings. My wife and I did the full 12 course, she ordered 2 glasses if wine that went well with what she had. with. I had Grand Cru wine pairing. When I read something about people returning food because It wasn't good, especially if you are doing a tasting meal, I say it's on you. The flavors and profiles Unfortunately at times requires The same palate for enjoying extraordinary food as it does extraordinary wines. If you don't like something, sure that's ok, but it doesn't warrent A bad review like what I have seen Especially when you have expectations for everyday food experiences. Anyway, sorry about the rant. The food, the service, and yes that Grand Cru wine experience was worth it and I would do it again. And I will.

Exceptional! Best in my experiences of fine dining
Exceptional! Best in my experiences of fine dining tasting menus. Delicious dishes, beautiful venue with sophisticated ambience, immaculate attention to details of service without being overly dramatic. I will definitely return when opportunity arises...
😍
What an incredible dining experience! Fine dining but not
What an incredible dining experience! Fine dining but not pretentious. I'm so thankful for the kind hostess who accommodated us as walk ins. Servers were genuinely nice. Knowing Robuchon's amazing bread service, I opted for the 4 course and my husband the 5 course. I was so full I couldn't enjoy the dessert cart but they offered to box some to take with us!!! The best part was enjoying the good food with the amazing scent coming from the diffuser behind me! Would love to know what the scent is!
😍
Amazing!! Definitely worth it.
The bread was some of the best bread I have ever had. We will be back next time we go to Vegas for a smaller tasting.
😍
😍
Well, this was THE dinner.
I have peaked in my dining career at 33. At points I forgot to take pictures because I was totally immersed in everything being presented. Upon entering we were greeted by the host and asked if we had a reservations. From there, the hostess asked if my SO wanted to check her coat. Once service started I was so locked in and in heaven. We both did the menu Dégustation at 485 pp. If you are coming here I can't recommend this option enough. You are taken on a journey of Joel robuchon's life, every dish that made a name for himself. I was so lost in euphoria during every bite I had. We also opted for two different wine pairings, one at 995$ and one at 395$ both were spectacular and I would encourage couples to do the same because the sommelier will have amazing stories about the vineyards of both pairings. I could go on and on about this special night but if you love food, and love amazing service, you have to dine here at least one time. I am literally forever thankful to the care that was given to us, the detail and flavors from the kitchen, and the genuine feeling like we were part of their crew. They made a special night, one of the best nights of my life. They sent us home with a gift box for dessert. A loaf of dessert cake. A visit from their gm. We shared stories of where we were from and realized we knew so much about people from the same area. This will be forever the dinner I talk about the rest of my life. Thank you to the crew at robuchon.

This place is a once in a lifetime fine dinning experience
This place is a once in a lifetime fine dinning experience you will never forget. The ambiance is perfection, sets the mood for a romantic evening out. Forewarned, this place is very pricey but we'll worth the price. The service is impeccable, and attentive to your every need. We started out with some delicious cocktails to set the mood. They have two different kinds menu services; the tasting menu and then set menu choices where you pick a few items from entrees and then desert. Having these ranges of choices is great, and allows you to curtail dinning around those choices. They brought out bread and French salted butter to start the evening. We went with the roe to start with, moved onto the venison and game entrees, and slowly made our way thru the desert sweets they brought out. The food is unforgettable in every way. The deserts didn't stop there, they have a desert cart after that is impossible to say no to as well.Overall this fine dinning experience is worth the price, and you will never forget it! I know we won't ever!

Whatever I eat in Vegas, does not stay stay in Vegas.
It get posted and reviewed on Yelp! The food is high quality and you get unlimited bread and dessert. The two most dangerous and delicious part of your meal. If you don't eat a lot, skip on the bread until your last course. But don't get too full or else you won't have room for that dessert cart. I know, it's hard. I can sympathize. My favorite dish was the black cod with butternut squash purée. It was the most underrated looking but surprisingly delicious dish. The butternut squash purée was tasty, creamy, and paired well with the black cod. What made our experience extra special was when we asked our server if we could have our courses served in reverse, they said yes with their recommendations that dessert remains last because of the bodily response to sugar. Lastly, the decor of the restaurant is absolutely picturesque. The ambiance is romantic yet grand. A fabulous place to take a loved one to. Lastly, yes this is a very pretty penny. Reservations are required. Bon appetit yelpers!
🙂
Had a lovely time at Joel Robuchon.
Everything is just as you'd expect. Nice atmosphere, service and delicious food. Our group chose to do the wine pairing and it was excellent. Wonderful experience We won't soon forget.
😍
What an experience! Must visit!
One of the best dining experience, hands down! I've been fortunate enough to dine at many Michelin rated and other fine dining establishments and Joel Robuchon is easily the top 2 of my list! Unfortunately my husband and I weren't very hungry and opted for the smallest course, which worked out perfectly as the bread and dessert carts provided us with more than enough food that we can stomach. As expected of a Michelin restaurant, their service was outstanding! There were so many servers handling different tasks, such as one was responsible for solely holding a tray of food while other servers deliver said food. Usually it's the same server handling the food from start to finish. I wasn't expecting too much about the food because not all high end restaurants deliver flavorful food. They may look exceptionally beautiful, but they don't always taste as good as they look. My appetizer was good, not amazing, so I didn't keep my hope up. As soon as I took the first bite of my entrée (Ribeye) however, my taste buds went straight to heaven! It has got to be one of the best... if not THEE best... steak I've ever had! A5 Wagyu be damned! Sure it didn't melt in my mouth like a Kobe steak, but the flavor was extraordinary! Perfectly seasoned with every single bite! No bland piece to be found! My husband's venison dish was flavorful as well but it came second to my steak. The bread and dessert carts were my Achilles heels. I knew not to partake in too much carb prior to dinner but I couldn't resist their selections. The butter was flown in from France and was carved with a spoon tableside. It was just as good as the butter I had when we were in Europe. Very smooth and silky. Although I was stuffed to the max, I had to try some desserts as well. They were just simply too beautiful to the eyes that my stomach couldn't say no to. We had such an incredible experience that we'll be taking the rest of my family here for dinner in the summer. This is truly a place that one must visit in their lifetime.
I would consider myself a well traveled foodie and I have eaten at high quality restaurants all over the world. Joel Robuchon did not disappoint for food quality. However, I was overwhelmed by the price! I’m good to spend $300-$400 on an excellent meal. But my husband and I each had a three course tasting menu and with drinks our bill was over $700. My appetizer was tiny - a few shaved radishes with some lobster meat between. Four bites. I then had the Scottish venison as my entree. This was amazing!! Beautifully presented. But it was two tiny medallions equaling about 3 oz of meat total. I feel like the amount of food did not equal the price. Taste would be 5 stars but I can only give this place three stars because of the value. Too expensive for so few bites of food.

I’ve been to all the three stars in the Bay Area, and holy cow I love this place. It’s probably my new #1. To each their own of course, but I loved all the courses, and I have a bias for dessert carts.
I have been to some of the very top restaurants in Europe this restaurant is by far the best. Atmosphere, service, comfort, quality of food, wine list was the most extensive I have ever reviewed. Expensive however not overpriced considering the quality food and wine served. The Master Sommelier was absolutely the most knowledgeable approachable comfortable educational ever. I have been 3-star Michelin France, Germany Spain Austria this by far better. Just incredible experience. We will be back and often!!!!!
If you have been to other Joël Robuchon restaurants, you will be very happy with the Vegas one as well. I've had a lot of their "main course" & "tasting menu" but one word of advice, go in starving to death and you will still leave like a fat King! Sometimes you must enjoy the finer things in life and treat yourself. Just do it. I'm not going to go on about the different servings, as this would never affect my decision on eating at a fine restaurant. Also, remember, any Joël Robuchon restaurant will need months in advance reservations. It's worth it though. We ate there twice this trip.
🤮
Be careful of the sommelier!!
In my opinion you need to be careful of the sommelier. If you don't know wine and aren't familiar be very careful ordering. They will give you a big book with a list of wines and they put a brand name ie. Krug near the bottom at about 350 a bottle but then there's a much more expensive bottle( also Krug) at the top so if you ask for the lower one he will quickly close the book and then bring it a bottle of Krug (the more expensive one) and if you haven't taken a careful look at the label you won't know which one it is. Then the bill comes and the bottle turns out to be $1500 instead of $35. It's an old trick they use in places like Rome or Barcelona but you wouldn't expect it in a place like this. Disappointed they decided to resort to these tactics to repair their bottom line after the shutdown. BE AWARE!!!
😍
Amazing best meal I have ever had.
We did the seasonal 9 course meal. Everything was exquisite. The chef came over and talked with us for a bit. It was an all around wonderful experience. I will definitely go back. I am dreaming about the mashed potatoes and the yuzu sauce. Be prepared to spend $700

Best meal of myLife!! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience! Service was amazing, food was excellent, I tried things I never thought I would and they bread and dessert carts were to die for!

Joel Robuchon is that true, true 5-star/Michelin type
Joel Robuchon is that true, true 5-star/Michelin type experience. No detail is overlooked. Everything that is served both tastes and looks incredible. Service fit for a king. Being it was my first time there, of course I had to have the tasting menu. It's courses on courses on courses of pure deliciousness. Everything starts with their famous bread course. I thought initially that the bread course only came at the beginning. But it actually comes multiple times, so try to take it easy on the bread even though it's so good. My favorites from the tasting menu: Caviar Imperial (caviar on lobster in a crustacean gel w/ cauliflower puree), seared scallop in green curry with stuffed pasta, truffled langoustine ravioli, caramelized black cod w/ bok choyBraised beef cheeks w/ red miso and whipped potatoes, whole fruit chocolate ganache, and passionfruit cream over coconut sponge and chocolate praline. After all those courses, they hit you with the dessert cart. At that point, I was *so* full, but "powered" through with chocolate mousse macaron, milk chocolate truffle, chocolate eclair. Joel Robuchon is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most people, and it doesn't disappoint even at its stupid expensive price tag.
🙂

Best. Meal. Of. My. Life. Every course was exquisite! I
Best. Meal. Of. My. Life. Every course was exquisite! I ordered the degustation menu. Some courses were rich and delicious; others light and refreshing. After 3 dessert courses, they brought out a dessert cart and asked me if I wanted any additional mini desserts. Of course I said yes! And then after that, they gave me a bag filled with a chocolate chip banana cake and a personalized copy of the menu! Service was amazing! My waiter was French and so kind and polite! This restaurant is a must go to establishment you need to experience at least once in your life!
😍
the entire experience was exceptional + deserving of every
the entire experience was exceptional + deserving of every accolade. speaking as someone who hasn't had a ton of fine french food, i thought the preparations were stunning, simple, and surprising in the best way possible. overall the best meal i've ever had, from start to finish, and i cannot overstate how much fun we had and how great every single dish, piece of bread and dessert was that nighthow we got here --called the mgm concierge for reservations about 3 months in advance; arrived at 530pm to experience the degustation menu, with the entire meal lasting about 3.5 hours. we cleaned off every crumb and bit of sauce; chef christophe came out to greet us after, and though i left incredibly full, was feeling fantastic the next morning -- which is to say the pacing + portions of each tasting were just perfect for usi had been wanting to eat here for a long, long time, and for this team to have created something that can live up to expectations years in the making is totally incredible. this is art, and a must visit for -- well, you, probably, since you're reading this review and have made it this farthank you for giving us such a wonderful evening; it was a night we will never forget, and we cannot wait to come back with the people we love, over and over again
I was there for a business meeting and the food was just as good as I remembered it. The service was also excellent.
Really really amazing food and experience, the 12 course tasting menu was out of this world. Some really nice touches that made the evening extra special. Would throughly recommend.
We chose the main course with 12 dishes and it was amazing! The only dish we didn't like surprisingly was the Caviar which was just beautiful! Other than that everything was tasty and interesting! The restaurant itself is very beautiful and luxurious and the service is of very high standards!

No longer listed in the Michelin guide for a reason
Not sure why it’s had to make a reservation here, when the place is half empty. Made the mistake of not insisting to be seated in the main dining room, which did look nice. We were seated in the “winter garden” off the main dining room, decorated with a wall of plastic ivy and a tacky faux painted ceiling a la Ceasars Palace. Acoustics let us hear every word from our neighbors seated too closely. So cramped that the bread and desert carts did not fit next to our table and I had to turn my head 180 degrees resulting in a third rate service experience. Waiter starts off by explaining that the bread is baked fresh every day — are you kidding me? Then proceeds to tell us our choices will be “warmed up”. Next serving of bread did not get the rewarming treatment. We did not want to go with the $400+ tasting menu, so went with one of the a la carte menus. There, half of the dishes came with a hefty supplement, which was tacky. Seems like they don’t show you the menu in advance online for that reason. Food was okay but not memorable in taste or presentation. Waiter explained that the mashed potatoes were what made Robuchon famous and we thought he was joking. The mashed potatoes tasted like, well, mashed potatoes. The 3 Michelin stars from 2009 are proudly shown at the entrance. Well, it’s 13 years later, the chef has long passed and the restaurant is not even listed in the Michelin guide anymore. Hint: there is a reason why, see above.

Yummy! This place is so delicious and beautiful! So happy
Yummy! This place is so delicious and beautiful! So happy we got the chance to try this place because it's one of my favorites. Definitely recommend trying this when in Vegas! We had the 10 course meal and we were so stuffed we had to take a nap before going out. At the end of the meal we had a tour of the back kitchen and was able to meet the chefs who prepared our perfect dinner. It was a lovely experience, thankyou!
