Joel Robuchon Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
We have tried some French restaurants but never a big fan.
So far, Joel Robuchon is my favorite. A kind reminder if you make the reservation through MGM app or website, there are only two options listed: Tasting menu $525 which we got and the other option is Express menu (you can decide which one to get on site: $235/$295/$335) and they also have vegan menu you can request on site. Wine pairing option and drink menu are available as well. If you stated the special occasion while booking the reservation, they also offer complimentary cake for the birthday or anniversary. And every table (not every guest) gets a loaf of pound cake to take home. I liked most of the dishes, but the lobster, the scallop, and the cold creamy foie gras are my favorites. The famous French duck always scares us when it's too raw, so our server was nice and told the chef to cook it to medium as we saw other table's duck is pretty raw. The bread cart and the dessert cart are fun to your eyes, and you can select what you like to try and ask for more later if needed. It's a very intimate (not spacious) but classic interior design. There are 3 different areas of the restaurant: The waiting area with open bar, only open to the restaurant guests, the main dining room, and the artificial garden outdoor seating area. The service is actually pretty lean back and friendly, comparing to the solemn servers in Eiffel Tower. We enjoyed the time here. Will return.
We had our anniversary dinner at Joel Robuchon in Las Vegas
We had our anniversary dinner at Joel Robuchon in Las Vegas this year. It is always a pleasure to celebrate with our beloved daughter. Joel Robuchon is the only 3 Michelin star restaurant in Vegas, which is the highest rating in the Michelin system. However, it should also be noted that Michelin has stopped rating restaurants in Las Vegas since 2009. We had our expectations set very high, although it was a very nice experience indeed, at this price point, there's room for improvement in our opinion. The venue was decorated to resemble a luxurious Art Deco townhouse that even had a lush garden terrace. It had beautiful and intimate seating, the couch that Daughter and I sat on was fluffy and comfortable! Since the restaurant was small, there's always some staff standing in close range watching you, sometimes it could feel a little awkward. Each of us had the Degustation Menu and I expected the food to be nothing less than perfect. We liked most of the dishes. My favorites were Le Caviar Imperial, La Tomate, La Saint-Jaques, and Le Black Cod. However, I have to deduct 1 Yelp star because of the high price and the last savory dish -- La Canette. At $525 per person for the Degustation Menu, when we compared their quality and quantity of food to other 3 Michelin star restaurants such as Alinea and Grace (now closed) in Chicago, it is overpriced. Also, there was no wow factor to me. Actually, the piece of duck in the La Canette dish needs a lot of improvement. The skin was not crispy as mentioned in the server's description, the layer of fat underneath it was so chewy and rubbery that even a knife couldn't cut it away. The duck meat was just OK. Hubby said that his whole piece of duck was chewy. After having some excellent Peking duck and roast duck with crispy skin and tender meat recently, this piece of high-priced duck was a disappointment. Service was impeccable. Our main server, Andrew, was very friendly and attentive. Actually, all the servers were nice and professional. As I read from other reviews, the bread cart and the mignardises cart are always impressive. The presentation of the complimentary cake to celebrate our anniversary was lovely! The small pieces of the anniversary cake that we actually had were not too sweet and were refreshing, and had a sorbet texture to them! It was a pleasant surprise that they gave us 2 gift bags of Lemon Pound Cake to take home after dinner! It tasted dry the next day when we tasted the cake in the hotel. However, when I microwaved a piece a couple days later when we were home, it tasted good and moist with a nice lemon aroma, the lemon rind was nice too. All in all, it was a good and luxurious celebration dinner in Vegas!
What an experience! Every part of this meal was absolutely
What an experience! Every part of this meal was absolutely luxurious, from the ambiance and decor, to the delicious and gorgeous courses, to the amazing service. I had been waiting years to come here and finally got around to go by making the time. There were a couple things I wish were different. For example I wish the bread they gave was warmed up. The baguette was hard like a rock. However, most of the other breads were delicious...comte cheese bread, brioche, and gruyere cheese bread. Every course was just a work of art. The service was so delightful and the waitstaff were a delight. They were extremely attentive, personable, and made sure the experience felt like you were the only one in the restaurant. I cannot wait to come back and I can't recommend Joel Robuchon enough. It was a meal of a lifetime and I look forward to coming back. Tip: Save room for the dessert cart and the Joel Robuchon potatoes. I have never tasted a more heavenly potato purée. They offered me another serving, and while I really wanted to, I had no more room to squeeze that in.
The ambiance was quiet and fine dining.
The servers were extremely professional. The food was average, nothing mind blowing. They just use pricey ingredients. The uni pasta was way too salty. The wagyu steak was a bit tough. I spent $1200 for 2 people getting the 5 course meal. There were all these extra charges we didnt notice but thats fine. The main problem was the manager. It was suppose to be 4 of us but 2 were late and wouldnt let them join us. Then the manager was rushing us, telling us that they needed to close the kitchen. He was a complete dick!! He acted like a rich stuck up person. I wanted to walk out but didnt want to make a scene in front of my date. But even she was saying that he was acting like the terminator. He ruined our experience, and food wasnt even great for them to be so cocky. Cant believe they won 3 michelin stars. Dont waste your money here, its so over priced
Exquisite dining venue, truly worthy of the 3-star
Exquisite dining venue, truly worthy of the 3-star designation. From the ambience to the arrangement of courses, staff professionalism, everything was perfect. Truly memorable experience all around!
When Las Vegas had a Michelin guide, Joël Robuchon was the
When Las Vegas had a Michelin guide, Joël Robuchon was the city's single three star restaurant. Traditional French cuisine is served in a beautifully decorated dining room. Overall, Joël Robuchon falls short of what I have experienced at other Michelin three star restaurants. The interior of Joël Robuchon is exquisitely decorated. No expense seem to have been spared in the sound deadening materials used to keep the dining room silent or the ornate chandeliers, vases, and other decorations throughout the restaurant. It truly feels like eating in a mansion or castle's dining room fit for royalty. The food overall was decent. A typical bread cart with unlimited helpings is supplied, and the variety of breads is nothing short of spectacular. Similarly, at the end of dining, a diverse dessert cart with well over a dozen options is available. Unfortunately, a cheese cart is no longer offered. My wife and I opted for the Menu Dégustation and the mid-level wine pairing. The Menu Dégustation features several of Joël Robuchon's traditional dishes, such as the Le Caviar Impérial and mashed potatoes (both separate courses). While most of the dishes were excellent, a few were not. All of the seafood that I was served was rubbery and overcooked. Definitely not something that I would expect from a $525 tasting menu. The wine pairing really paired well with the food and probably was the best that I have had at any restaurant in Las Vegas. The pours were very stingy, though, and I probably would instead order a single bottle of wine next time. You are given a generous breakfast pastry for the next morning after dinner. While all of our servers were friendly and attentive, service was not coordinated the way it usually is at Michelin three star restaurants. Several times, there were not enough servers to serve our dishes, leaving the runner to awkwardly stand there with our dishes while no one was able to bring them to our table. Similarly, the consistency of their sommeliers is a bit lacking. Our main sommelier took a lot of time explaining what each wine was, where it came from, etc., but went missing halfway through dinner service. His replacement simply poured our wine and left. Not terrible, but definitely not at the same level as other Michelin three star restaurants that I have been to. Joël Robuchon is an amazing restaurant for its history - the namesake of the chef who holds the record for most Michelin stars awarded to them - but falls short when compared to other Michelin three star restaurants. When I think of such a restaurant, I think of a beautifully choreographed ballet, but this was more like a rehearsal.
Anniversary special meal .
From first entering until walking out with a bye bye bag ( which my wife loves ) we had an amazing experience. Staff were efficient and attentive without being in your face all the time . Nothing was too much trouble Food was incredible , imaginative, delicious and extremely well presented . Some may say expensive, I'd say worth every penny for a special occasion .
Ten and a half years ago, I proposed to my wife over dinner
Ten and a half years ago, I proposed to my wife over dinner at Joel Robuchon. Fortunately, she said "yes" otherwise I wouldn't have been able to take her back there to celebrate our 10th anniversary. A couple of months before our anniversary date, I called the restaurant for reservations and made a special request to be seated at the same table that we had been seated when I proposed. The person taking my reservation couldn't guarantee my request would be fulfilled, but it would be noted on my reservation. We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before our 6:00 PM reservation. After a very brief wait in the lounge, we were taken to our table precisely at our appointed time. Thankfully, in the decade that had passed since our previous visit to Joel Robuchon, the layout of the dining room was largely unchanged so, much to my joy, we were led to the table that I had requested. We knew going in that we were going to have the Menu Degustation and only had make a decision on drinks. On our previous visit, I don't recall if there were set wine pairings available with the tasting menu because we likely would've gone that route had there been. However, this time around, there were three pairings (Village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru) consisting of different wine selections set at different price points. We went with the mid-tier, Premier Cru pairing. Almost as soon as our order was placed, our dining experience began as the service team filled our water and wine glasses, wheeled over the cart of amazing breads, and prepared the accompanying butter. Our table was prepared for the first course and soon after, a precisely choreographed parade of thoughtfully conceived, perfectly executed, aesthetically pleasing, delightfully delicious food was brought forth for our enjoyment. The selection of wines were, not unexpectedly, mostly French pulled from Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, and the Rhone regions, and paired perfectly with each corresponding course. Rather than giving a blow by blow of each course...I loved them all!...just take a look at my pics of our menu and the food we received and see if it tickles your fancy. I deeply enjoy French fine dining and, in my opinion, Las Vegas is the best place in America to find it. Joel Robuchon is the epitome of French fine dining in Las Vegas, and it holds a very special place in my heart. It's not an inexpensive night out. In truth, it's definitely not for the faint of heart when it comes to the price tag as it can easily add up to and surpass a month's rent or a mortgage payment. That said, EVERYTHING about Joel Robuchon from the setting, the service, the food, and the wine was impeccable. It's the perfect place for the most special of occasions.
In 42 years I can honestly say with NO exaggeration that
In 42 years I can honestly say with NO exaggeration that this is the single best dining experience I have ever had. Know going in that the cost is very high but it is 100% worth it. From the greeters, to the walk to the table, to the bread cart and butter display, it was just like nothing I or you, unless you've been, have ever seen. Each server was so kind, from their tone, to their verbiage and gesturing. It was incredible. I wish I could tell you what to order but check out my photos - there is no best dish, they all are. Erik Wood stood out in that he was running things that evening truly made our experience the 11/10 it was. Erik is someone any restaurant / company is lucky to have due to his passion for people, food, the respect he has for staff, the kitchen and pleasing guests. Look, if you can spare the money for an unforgettable experience, please be smart and come here. I'd advise call as FAR in advance as they allow.
This is definitely a place that everyone should try at
This is definitely a place that everyone should try at least once. Robuchon sets the bar high for any other restaurant around. The service from beginning to send was spectacular. Great for special occasions since they are really good at recognizing it. I highly recommend the full tasting so you can experience all the dishes. Also the take away pistachio chocolate bread is on another level. Worth every penny!
What a remarkable dining experience.
Elegant ambiance, impeccable service, and incredible food. The tasting menu is definitely worth it!
Fabulous spot
Fabulous spot to celebrate special events. The food was magnificent. The wine was amazing. The service was really good.
Savoring Culinary Excellence: A Delectable Journey Through Joel Robuchon
My dining experience at Joel Robuchon was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was simply outstanding, with each dish showcasing the chef's creativity and expertise. I especially loved the bread and desserts, which were incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight to the senses. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, patiently explaining each dish and offering recommendations. Their passion for food and dedication to providing exceptional service truly shone through. It's no surprise that Joel Robuchon has earned three Michelin stars – the quality of the food and service speaks for itself. I can't wait to return and indulge in another unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!
Delicious food
Joel Robuchon is a great restaurant in Las Vegas. The food is delicious. The drinks are delicious. Enjoyed all their courses.

Robuchon always impresses. The dishes are beautiful and tasty. The food is delicious. The staff is very professional.
Truly world class food, service, atmosphere and amazing
Truly world class food, service, atmosphere and amazing ambiance. An evening to remember from all aspects. Highly recommend for any special or important events
I must say, my experience was absolutely fantastic.
Whether it was the quality of the ingredients themselves or the overall presentation, everything was truly exceptional.
The emperor has no clothes
Food was not good, i couldn't even eat some of it, plus the restaurant is looking a bit worn with the faded dusty greenery, our bill for 2 with tip was $720 and we felt taken. We felt weird about admitting the food was not good but we have eaten all over the world, so we do have some experience
Visited vegas in December for our wedding anniversary and
Visited vegas in December for our wedding anniversary and as we've made it a thing to do Michelin star restaurants for our anniversary every year, Joel Robuchon (the only vegas restaurant to ever receive 3stars) obviously became a must. Made reservations well ahead of time. The ambiance is true fine dining, elegant and no loud background noise. We were seated in the garden/patio-ish area that's pretty much isolated from the large dining tables in the main dining area. It was intimate and private and we loved it. There were other couples in that section too. Although the tasting menu is seasonal, they did have a couple of their signature plates there like the Le Caviar Imperial which is always the very first plate served. We didnt realize how full we were getting towards the end that i thought i was not going to be able to complete the whole tasting menu. The missing one star is for the several 3-5 dishes back to back with shaved truffle incorporated in them that the flavors started to mix it was so hard to remember what the previous dish was. Quality of the food surreal but just lacked that creativity i was rooting for. Overall though this was one for the books! I would still recommend it. Again the menu is seasonal and you might have a mind blowing experience.
Nearly speechless about this experience.
..so I'll end the review with that! But really, I never imagined actually eating here. I'm not the most motivated to venture into high priced restaurants. Having been to Paris, France multiple times with tons of authentic French cuisine, I still would stick to what I know. So the thoughts of foie gras and duck weren't that appealing. But I really put all my trust in Joel Robuchon. I was most enticed by the idea of trying his pastry as I am deeply passionate about patisserie and all French sweets. But I also thought that if anyone can make French cuisine taste good it'll be at Joel Robuchon. It started out right with seeing the diamond award. The bar area was quiet and inviting. I loved my cocktail, it was a Paris Cosmo and I spent a lot of time trying to find out what the blue garnish flower was that they put into it. It ended up being a blue corn flower and it was gorgeous. I think the menus are very fair. You can get a set that it really simple or go for the 10 course meal. The bread basket was just stunning. I could make a meal of that alone and had to use all my self control not to just keep eating bread. But the amuse-bouche was a cauliflower puree with caviar and broccoli. I don't eat caviar pretty much ever but it was just so light and not oceany at all. Very good. I enjoyed my chestnut veloute and cheese mousse as well as my poached egg. The Australian wagyu was good, a tiny bit chewy but the taste was great. Of course the classic signature mashed potatoes were really smooth and flavorful. But the piece de resistance was the dessert cart. Over 30 different varieties of French sweets everything from: tarts, gelee, guimauve, macaron, eclair, baba, chocolate bonbon, and so on and so on! I was full and had 2 desserts already but I completely could have had at least 1 of each from the cart but settled for maybe 10 different desserts. This was for my birthday and it was an incredible experience! Of course the servers are super elegant and have an authentic French vibe. Would completely return for another visit.
We've always wanted to try this restaurant, and a birthday
We've always wanted to try this restaurant, and a birthday seemed like a great opportunity to do so! Make your reservation (easy to do on their website) well in advance, as they fill up quickly! We arrived early and were seated in their luxurious lounge area and enjoyed two cocktails while the table was prepared. The Cosmo de Paris cocktail was delicious. Ice cold - perfectly balanced - and just amazing. This set the theme for the remainder of the evening. We were seated in a small side room which made you feel like you were in a small garden. There was no one at the adjacent table, but if someone was seated there I could see it being a bit crowded and not too private. There are two menu options. You can chose a 10 course tasting menu; however, you get no choices with this option (each course has only one choice). There are other options with differing numbers of courses, and with these options you have many items to chose from for each course. We each chose a six course option (amuse bouche, two appetizers, one entree, one dessert, and miniature sweet cart). Some options do have an additional supplemental cost - mostly options containing caviar. The amuse bouche was an amazing cold cauliflower soup with crunchy broccoli and crispy rice paper. Then came the bread cart. WOW! There were literally about 15 different types of bread which they bake fresh daily. Your choices will be warmed and presented to you along with shaved butter and olive oil which is presented beautifully from a separate cart. More bread is available throughout your meal, and subsequent bread is served from a small tray rather than wheeling the cart over again. I chose the beetroot salad and the lobster as appetizers. Both were amazing. The beetroot salad was so refreshing, and I wasn't sure how I would like the accompanying mustard sorbet. It was amazing as well! If they can make mustard sorbet delicious, they are true experts. The lobster was served as thin slices of lobster between thin slices of Japanese radish topped with black truffle. I have never liked truffle, but these lacked the pungent earthy taste I have had before. They were so mild! Overall another amazing dish! For an entree I had the sea bass. It's a small portion, but it had such an amazing taste! Perfectly prepared, and the lemon grass foam was truly stunning. Entrees are served with their signature mashed potato which has to be one of the best mashed potato I've ever had. Perfectly creamy and delicious. Save room for dessert!! I had the chocolate souffle ($10 additional) which blew me away. It was like a moist, rich chocolate meringue inside with a perfectly slightly crunchy, chewy shell. Then, after dessert, enjoy the cart of "sweets" featuring petit fours miniature dessert options. There must have been at least 20 different options to choose from including macarons and so, so much more. Service was very attentive if not the warmest, and the entire meal lasted about two hours. This was probably among the best meals I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying, and you leave feeling quite satisfied despite the smaller portions. I recommend reviewing their current menu ahead of time, as if you are a picky eater it is possible that you might struggle to find something you will like given their unique and often esoteric dishes. I cannot recommend Joel Robuchon enough!
Double date splurge time.
Came here because the hubby really wanted to check out a Michelin star restaurant in Vegas. We've gone to others before but it's been some time. The decor of Robuchon is accordingly decadent and a feast for the eyes. Service by the host/hostess was great with accommodating coat check and a bar area where you can sip a cocktail while waiting for your table to be ready. We did not go balls to the wall for the degustation menu this time - maybe another time - but I had the menu prix fixe with 2 entrees. Overall, I found the appetizers to be the strongest and most creative contenders. The entrees were good, but not mind-blowing (admittedly, I did not order a seafood or vegetarian entree, so YMMV). I did enjoy the venison for its extremely dark and hearty flavor, although the rest of my group didn't care too much for it when they sampled. Shoutout though to the bread and dessert carts, those were so delicious and fun. We found the weak point to be the service. Nobody was rude or obviously negligent - but if you have Michelin stars I am going to be rating you at a benchmark that is suitable for the number of stars you have. There were times when we made requests for things and we had to ask twice. There was no urgency to cater to diners' requests nor was there 'proactivity' in terms of service. Was there one major situation that they fumbled? No - but it was more of an additive effect of just the wait staff not being 100% attentive that made it feel like something was amiss. Again, if this wasn't Joel Robuchon and I wasn't being charged upwards of $200 for my meal, I would've easily given the place 5 stars. This is just based on what one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I'm down to try this again, for a very special occasion.
Yes!!! The tasting menu is the best decision we made! My
Yes!!! The tasting menu is the best decision we made! My husband got the wine pairing and it was to die for!! The wait staff was fantastic! The restaurant was very quiet and easy to hold conversation with your table. We will definitely go back! Also ... can I get a dozen more scallops?!?!?!
Chef Villanueva true to Robuchon tradition
Wonderful four hour gastronomic adventure. Not for everyone. 13 three star Michelin places in the entire US. (My fourth). New head chef keeps the quality in tact. Excellent warm service. Thoughful dishes, small and interesting. Not a place for a big cut of meat Bread and dessert carts are outstanding, as is the butter and olive oil service. This is an experience, not a meal. Food is personal. Bon Appétit!
It was here that I fell in love with foie gras.
Then california made it illegal. Then it became legal again, I think. The quality of the food goes without saying, it has three tire company stars, or had them once, technically. And the decor is beautiful and classy. But it isn't a great place for a date since everyone seems to whisper. It feels out of place in vegas, where people like to be showy when spending money.
Not so great.
My second visit here, first time was better back in 2018. It’s gone down hill and was kinda disappointing in fact. You can do better for your money.
Six months ago I had visited this French restaurant tucked
Six months ago I had visited this French restaurant tucked away in a back corner of the MGM Casino. I was pleasantly pleased by the ambiance as you first entered, elegant and small almost feeling like a private dining room made for a group of close friends. What follows next is the pleasant and attentive staff, willing to answer questions, keeping water glasses filled, a Sommelier who suggests the perfect pairing for each course, and a handful of waiters ready to address needs while you are dining. One of the delightful experiences this time was enjoying a cauliflower mousse as the first course. Chilled and velvety smooth, with a droplet of caviar, it was a delicious starter. The Chestnut soup was light and flavorful with a sweet onion foam on top. The Iberico was tender and topped with herbs and a hint of tasty sauce. But the biggest surprise was the truffle spaghetti! Who knew? This restaurant was well worth a second visit and will definitely be on my list to entertain friends in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful dining experience.
Joel Robuchon is one of my favorite restaurants in the US.
I find all the courses outstanding, especially his signature mashed potatoes. It's really amazing how such a simple dish can be elevated to the levels at which they're prepared here. This is one of the rare instances where I found almost each dish equally remarkable, so I'd just point to the photos on this one and say you have to go. On a side note, the dessert is pretty cute, but more about the aesthetics to me than the actual flavor. That's not to say that it wasn't good; it definitely was, but I'm just stating what I mostly got out of it. Also quite noteworthy is the presentation of each dish here. You'll be served some of the most beautiful meals you'll ever see, and that's just something that really stood out to me as well. The service is on-point, as you'd expect of a Joel Robuchon. The dining room here is pretty intimate. Comfortable chairs, good chair to table ratios, not noisy at all. I fly to Vegas just to eat here. I friggin love Joel Robuchon.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?

Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
