An amazing experience from start to finish.
The quality of the fish and the preparation are unmatched. I experienced flavors that I've never had nor imagined. Talking to the staff and the chefs you can feel the excitement they shared in the food.
Be the first to ReplyMind-blowing sushi experience at a mind-blowing price.
One of the best high-end omakase dinners outside of Kyoto. Excellent sake selections. Be prepared for the sky high price. But worth it if money is no concern.
Be the first to ReplyThis place definitely use top ingredients.
Uni truffle caviar are all presented beautifully. The taste is amazing too for $500 a person before drinks. The service is great. The chef does explain all the dishes in detail. It's nice if you like the price

This was a very exclusive omakase dinner that I'm attending this event. There were 11 other customer there in the private dining area when I walked in! We were all given the menu and the chefs explain to us what each and every item on the menu it was consist of. Their service was excellent and we were serve like royalties. Every dish came out with A++ freshness to their fish and the presentation was top notch. There were so many fish I didn't remember the names of them but some just melts in my mouth like butter. Their desserts was on point, we had fruits that we had never tasted before and it was imported in from Japan! It was a very nice intimate dinner and I will be back!
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best Kaizeki Omakase in Vegas off the strip.
We made a reservation few days before we visited Vegas. So lucky we got one. They only have 2 seating due to 1.5-2hr per seating for kaiseki omakase. All food flown in from Japan every Tuesday and Friday. We were the only ones in the private room. The service were outstanding. Our chef explained every single step and our server is very attention, keep rearranging and cleaning our area, exactly like how we eat in Japan. Omg!! The sushi rice is absolutely the best. As much as important the fish, the sushi rice does make a huge different. The chef made his own rice, special mix only how he likes it. They showed us the type of fish we had as shown in the photos, the wagyu a5 has its certificate tells you how old the calf was, the farm where it came from etc. So does the Crown japanese melon imported from Japan, one melon grown per tree. Amazing! After that, we all chatted about things and cars, where they came from. This place is top notch from the quality of the food and services.

It was more than a dinner. It was a whole experience. Service and food quality were the best I've ever had. From the moment you step through the doors, you're transported to a whole dimension where your taste buds get to experience nothing but pure bliss. You could come to Vegas and piss away your gambling money on slots or you could just put everything on black for one spin and take your date to Kame or eat McDonald's. Long story short, risk it all on Roulette for an opportunity at Kame. Sit, enjoy and experience Kame.
Be the first to ReplyI don't like this place one bit it's highly priced kabuto
I don't like this place one bit it's highly priced kabuto or yui is way better than this place plus the owner has a really bad reputation in Las Vegas amongst the Korean community and has been known to cut his employees pay and not paying his workers right I will never support a business where the owner does shady stuff and takes advantage of people for his own greed
Be the first to ReplyKame Omakase, the price and experience, comes down to
Kame Omakase, the price and experience, comes down to Japanese master craftsmanship in the art of preparing sushi, exquisite details and quality. Something that is often said can be found in Vegas, but really is not. This is now the third time that I have had the special privilege to enjoy a meal at Kame Omaskase. The quality of the fish flown in same day or same day plus a few hours and simply some of the best you will find in Las Vegas. With the 6pm seating, there were four of us in the smaller of their two omakase spaces. All locals, which the chefs informed us was like seeing a unicorn. They do not often see locals. We wrapped up and were leaving around 8:20pm. Their second seating begins at 8:30pm. Without repeating the quality comments of the fish and meat and unique fruits, vegetables and flavors one experiences while at this establishment (I leave this to other Yelpers), let me say that the devil is in the details. The shimmery gold vessel that is holding out cold sake that looks like a piece of artwork in itself. The single stahl restroom that is brightened and illuminated by a decorative tree partitioned by glass in the corner. The wooden bento box with the delicate watercolored picture of seasonal fall leaves that changes with seasons. The almost painstaking fine and exact assembly in which the chef prepares tiny delicate morsels of fish and flavors to be consumed in one bites Jessica was the assistant to the room that was taking care of our group of four. She is lovely. That Japanese level of charming, beauty, grace and care you expect from the culture. She is absolutely the tone setter of all that will occur in our two and half hours in this space and she does an excellent job. Gian our chef, a Hoppa of sorts from southern CA, is almost disarmingly witty and engaged in his craft with an enthusiasm of a little kid on Christmas day, providing finite details on every single item being prepared and unfolding in front of our eyes. Also know they were very easy to accommodate my pescatarian diet to my absolute liking when wagyu items were served. They were very quick to make sure what I would be happy with their replacement for me. Absolutely a 5 star on Yelp in my head, but if I was going to say one critique that skews to the irksome, is the bill. Absolutely not the price, but in the presentation of the bill, specifically the suggested tip lines that appear at the bottom of the hardcopy printout. These are very common out there in the world and I think are very useful too to a consumer. But the suggested tip amounts at the bottom of the bill include liquor or in our case sake. Now if someone is consuming a beer it would be one thing for this to probably go unnoticed. But with an excellent sake menu with price points in the hundreds, I simply personally think for an establishment who really does such a wonderful job with the details as I have described in this review, in addition to ones dinner being $500+ per person, that would be something that the management could thoughtfully address with their IT people. There is the slight undertone in my opinion by seeing this that they are pulling a fast one. But again, with that said and also being a savvy local in the trendy restaurant scene, I know to be looking at these things and still give them a 5 star. A special celebration like a birthday or anniversary or simply a lover and aficionado of sushi who misses being in Japan and experiencing some of the greatest Omakase moments to be found on the planet, Kame Omakase is a spot to visit.

The food was AMAZING!! The wagyu beef with the Foie gras and caviar was quite possibly the best thing I've ever tasted in my life. Had the big meal. The service was impeccable, the preparation was a foodie show, loved everything about this experience.

Food was amazing. Definitely coming back. Everything was extremely fresh. We did the signature tasting menu and enjoyed every bite. We all left quite full. Great experience!

Fantastic! from stepping inside, to eating the last bite, the experience is certainly one of the best Omakase experiences I've enjoyed, at least top 3. I would best describe the food to be traditional cuisine with a highlights of modernistic enhancements. Seasonally modified to mother nature, curated very nicely. Full over distict twists and turns with each course which are well described at each pit stop.Well done!!!! Will be back!

This is the BEST omakase restaurant in Vegas! I tried the signature omakase, which I think everyone should try if you are heading to Kame. The chef Hideki was just so amazing and I already want to go back! He was very delightful and informative. He knew where all the fish and produce were from and had very good supplementary explanations. Fish were of course fresh and choices for omakase were just at the perfection. Not only that, the decorative plates just made your palate sumptuous. Rice for nigiri were, I would say by far, the best (which I thought Sushi Noz had the best rice). I am so happy to find out that there's a place to have good omakase in Vegas. The workers were very courteous and helpful. I love it when workers and chef concentrate on their work. Oh btw, I think my favorite one was the soup in the ! Very interesting.
Be the first to ReplyThis has to be the best upscale Japanese cuisine I have
This has to be the best upscale Japanese cuisine I have ever experienced in my life so far...quite expensive but worth every penny! We were told that the fish gets shipped straight from Japan overnight. I've never been to Japan but walking in through those doors and sitting at the bar makes me feel like I'm in another country entirely. Perfect lighting throughout restaurant, not too dim and not too bright. There was calm, relaxing music playing in the background. We were immediately greeted upon entry and the hostess even wished us a "happy anniversary" which was so sweet. My boyfriend and I did the $350 tier omakase which has 9 courses total. They explained the menu thoroughly and the chef even gave some background on the variety of fish we were going to consume and even brought out the fresh fish on a giant plate. Every bite was dainty yet delectable. The lobster sashimi with the caviar and uni was out of this world. The chawan mushi for appetizer was amazing as well. Every course was plated so beautifully. You can tell these chefs genuinely take pride in their food and craft. We paired our dinner with a sparkling sake and asahi black. We even received a complimentary cake for our anniversary, so yummy!I do recommend checking out their restrooms too, super pretty inside lol. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Parking is limited as the restaurant shares a lot with other businesses, including an apartment complex. I probably won't need to try Nobu now because I don't think it will be as good or authentic as Kame. Can't wait to return for our next special occasion!

If i could give this place more than 5 stars i would in a heart beat! Kame is a little more on the pricer side, but definitely worth it. Uni, Japanese waygu, and freshly shaved truffle? How could you go wrong!? The chefs are personable and drive the narrative of each dish from it's traditional styling and origins to cater to what you know and prefer in your nigiri experience. You can really tell that each chef knows their craft because each dish was displayed with such careful thought, I almost didn't want to touch it because it was so pretty!! Overall kame omakase experience was one of the best ones I've ever experienced. The atmosphere felt very personal and intimate and the staff goes above and beyond hospitality and service! My absolute highest recommendation.

For my 2,600th review, I wanted to write about one of the tastiest Omakase in Las Vegas named Kame. This place is one of the best spots for Japanese I have ever eaten in my entire life. The place inside after going through the doors is just quite traditional in Japanese style with light wood and clean style. Every day is the menu that will be listed of what you are going to be enjoying that day. We sat at the bar table of a party of three and had one of the best times. Service was epic and on point. The presentation of each food dish was elegant and nice. I did enjoy this dinner and I have raved about it to other friends to check this place out if they are in Vegas. If you like good food for sushi and appreciate the work and preparation this is the place for you. For sure make a reservation and you will be in your happy place by the end of the meal.

Be the first to ReplyA very special restaurant for dinner.
Simple, clean, tasteful decor. Sushi chef was energetic, knowledgeable and good natured. We learned what proper sushi and quality sake should taste like. My adult daughter said that after this experience, she will not be able to go back to regular sushi and saki - an eye opening experience. Multitude of flavors and hints of Dashi in many with smoky undertones. Virtually all fish fresh from Japan. Foie gras, truffles and caviar abound. Delicious. We will be back when we are in Vegas again.

Went to Kame this past weekend with some close friends for date night and this place really went above and beyond any expectation. It is on Spring Mountain in Las Vegas and I have always passed by the place but thought it was just one of the many sushi places on that long street of good eats. But this place is definitely a hidden gem. It doesnt look like much from the outside, none of the dazzle as those on the strip, but I would choose Kame 10/10 over any on the strip. Sushi Chef Jian forgive me if i mispelled your name was very informative on each and every dish and which region of Japan. Everything was Fresh, presented elegantly and delisious. We will definitely be back. Can't beat Excellent service and Awesome Food.

For my birthday I booked Kame for their full no holding back top omakase experience. This was one of the rare times in my life I felt a bit intimidated to feast. Whether it's a 3-Michelin Star establishment or Portillo's Hot Dogs I never have a problem ordering the full menu and looking like a fat ass. I have so much respect for the quality-focused craftsmanship of the Japanese culture, a country I've always wanted to visit, that I deferred to the staff how everything was meant to be consumed. This was more than just small fork to large, they had entire patterns of consumption to match their desired feast experience. Not a single aspect of this entire meal was overlooked, including the silverware, serving plates, how it was served, the design of the space, and the detailed explanations of each course. Everything exceeded my expectations. The food was flown in nearly every day directly from Japan, and was beyond fresh. The hairy crab I touched was the sweetest crab I've ever eaten, and those cantaloupe like melons that cost $150 each were like tasting the best candy that Hogwarts could conjure. Their branded caviar added explosions of flavor to every application, and it was part of most courses. If you call yourself a foodie you know how much white truffles cost. Not only are they rare but I almost fell out of my chair in glee after the first spoon of soup they were a part of. The certified A5 meat tasted like happiness and the fresh horseradish root kicked like a UFC champion. Like a brilliant engineer speaking at CES to thousands of geeks, I took a million photos to capture all of the team's unique idiosyncrasies while on stage. We all laughed after every capture when I exclaimed, "nailed it!" My inner child lit up. Watching craftsman in their element is mind blowing. If you want to learn what omakase is about, Kame sets the standard in Vegas.

Top 5 meals of all time - we did the standard menu but will splurge for the more expensive option next time. Truly decadent presentation and food, sit at the bar if you can, mesmerizing to watch the chefs work. I am obsessed with this place.

I've tried many Omakase places but still think this is the best place I've ever tried. Their fishes were fresh, presentation was good. They have some dishes that I've never seen before. I like how their servers and chefs were really friendly & nice. I had a great & fun experience. There is absolutely nothing to complain about this place. MUST-TRY!!!! Make sure you make a reservation in advance.
Be the first to ReplyAstounding, unique, and perfectly crafted.
My hats off to the chefs. When you dine here for their signature omakase ($500/pp), you not only eat with your mouth, but with your eyes. Each dish is so beautifully and meticulously crafted, it is it's own work of art within it's plate.I appreciate not only how personable each chef is to each customer, but how meticulous the service staff is as well. Your every need is quickly and quietly taken care of before you may even realize it.I also appreciate the chefs showing us the products we were being served in their original forms; this restaurant prides themselves on serving the most high quality ingredients you can find.I will let the pictures speak for themselves to the artistic quality of the dishes. I included a picture of their menu as a guide to follow for my review; the ingredients change seasonally. There are almost too many highlights to point out; I will focus on just a few:- The chawanmushi is so soft and supple! Wow. It melts on your tongue.- The freshness of the oyster is astounding. The bright acidity of the dressing brings out its natural sweetness, without any ocean brininess.- This is the first time I've ever tried authentic geoduck! It's snappy and has a unique texture.- In the sashimi course, the crunchiness of the jellyfish is fun and surprising. The salmon is so buttery soft and tender, and lightly fatty, it's almost like taking a bite of cotton candy.- In the jewelry box (incredibly beautiful, as always), the chu-toro and o-toro are so tender. I could cry. The texture is the highlight; your teeth barely need to work as it's so supple that it just sinks into your palate, leaving the lightest taste of the hand-applied dressing.- The uni is so fresh and light! Wow. - The handrolls are fun and whimsical. - The A5 wagyu is fantastic. Just wonderful. Umami in smell and taste, but does not leave a heavy greasy feeling on the palate from the natural fat in the ingredient.- The risotto was a fun Japanese interpretation of the Italian classic! It is light and creamy, but not heavy, which I appreciate, since at the end of the meal, you're full to bursting.- The dessert was a perfect end to the meal. Rather than plying you with more sugar and fat, the chefs source rare fruit in Japan that has a natural clean sweetness.I recommend choosing the Yuzu sake to pair with the meal. It has a freshness to it that is welcome to cleanse your palate after each course, and goes well with the ginger!Overall, I'm deeply impressed by the whole experience here, and look forward to someday returning to share a drink with the chefs again, and a fantastic meal.
