I absolutely love the food my only complaint is the service.
We consistently have had to wait 20 minutes (sometimes longer) to order after being seated. I always feel bad for the waitstaff because it is so crowded and tables are extremely close together. The food on the other hand is exceptional and perfect go-to spot for cheat days. I highly recommend the feta and spinach spring rolls, grilled octopus and pikilia to start. The impossible kebobs are also really good as well as the smashed potatoes. Their cocktails are also fantastic.
😍
We went last night - sat outside.
Weather wasn't the best but it was fine and there was a heater so was comfortable. Food was good, waiter was stretched a bit thin and made some mistakes, nothing horrible. He did his best but we had a few bumps, nothing earth shattering. However Ashley, the manager, was amazing, so accommodative and friendly - she took care of all the aforementioned bumps and also alleviated any trepidation we had of going back, she clearly gets the restaurant biz and should be commended. If I could split the rating I would give the food a 4 and Ashley a 10. Next time we will sit inside ......

Lola Was Great!Beautiful ambiance, beautiful staff, beautiful setting! My friends and I had variety dishes off their menu and we enjoyed everything! We had the-Chicken Gao buns-Mushroom Raghu-Spinach Wrap-Lola Salad-Grilled steak & fries. All was great! If i had any criticism, I would say the fries could've been fried harder, but it could be bias given my preference on how i like my fries! Food is reasonably priced!

Was very excited about trying this place after being recommended by a friend. Had a reservation, and ordered some shared plates. The food was good but not out of this world. My complaint is with the service. They were rushing us out the entire time by numerous people coming to our table and asking us if we were done with our plates, when they were half filled with food. 5 different employees came over and asked us if we were done... it was over the top. Made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. We spent an hour and a half at the table... we did not overstay our welcome. If I'm paying $200+ for a dinner I shouldn't be rushed out. Very disappointed.
The food was good, for the most part. Definitely not worth the hype, though. Drinks were fine, not spectacular. Pita bread was absolutely delicious. Potatoes were so salty I tried to each one from the bottom of the bowl (no salt hopefully) and it was still to salty to even eat. The service was also subpar. I know most restaurants are understaffed right now but when I'm paying $50 for an entree I expect the waitress to check in at least once while we are eating. She didn't check on any of the food until after we were done. Also earlier in the night, I finished my drink before the appetizers came. I would've loved another drink, but she didn't check on us until we'll after the appetizers were gone. Like I said, sure whatever for a mediocre dinner but for such a "nice" and "trendy" restaurant I expected a little better from the waitstaff. Overall review- not worth the hype. Go somewhere else.Edit: want to add that I told the waitress my dietary constraints and I'm pretty sure something I ate had dairy because I had a huge stomach ache after (didn't even eat meat so couldn't have been from that).

Came for a Saturday night dinner, the restaurant is very popular through social media as I had to make a reservation for 3 weeks in advance and only got seated in the veranda (outside somewhat heated). The outdoor veranda is still pretty cold as we all wore out jackets the whole meal despite the powerful heaters. The decor is very nice and feels very Greek. Food was ok, not sure if I'd go back - wish there were more Entree Options. Ordered the spanokipita and plitziki sauces to start. Portions are ok nothing large. For mains we ordered the Moussaka (which only had an Impossible meat option), Kebabs presentation was wonderful but the food was average due to the limited menu options.

I was in the neighborhood and was looking for a place to grab a quick bite without having to wait an extended period of time due to Sunday brunch. The ambiance was cute and cozy. Since the weather was surprisingly nice, we sat in the heated outdoor section. The food came out relatively quick. We both ordered the Lola salad & the pikilia. I love a nice Greek salad and it sure did hit the spot. The pikilia was served with pita. We selected the tzatziki, hummus, and kopanisi. My personal favorite was the tzatziki. Would I come back? Probably
🙂
Great atmosphere and very helpful staff.
Food overall was excellent but a little pricey. Had the chicken kabob very nice and wife had mousaka good and tasty but a little heavy. Had the appetizer of dips has very nice!!! A very pleasant evening with family and friends.

Ambience: 3Service: 1/2Food wait time: 3.
8Food : 4.5Price: higher than experience overall, but not bad for food quantity and quality. I would say if you don't mind being crammed like sardines - sitting side by side other couples/ friends and hearing their conversations this is the place for you. They fit as many people as possible in a small space. They make it look more romantic in the pics - it's a beautiful spot but would say more of a summer spot. They took me to our table rather fast and said it's a good spot bc we won't get pumped lol. The server was the biggest turn off to the whole experience he made us order everything at once which was annoying. I feel we should be able to place apps and then decide on dinner. It made us feel rushed he left us and took time to come back to even take our order (I wanted to order many apps and didn't want all my food at once). It's not a cheap place per se for them to be forcing you to move like a hamster wheel. Ordered:Trio of dips -greatVegetable spring rolls-greatWhite fileted fish -greatSeasoned fries- good but very salty (great for large group to share)Napa wine Cabernet - $20 a glass said it was 2016 but gave us 2018Pretty decent size portions - had I of known I may have used this as a group spot over intimate party. Also with the ordering in advance you can't really go with the flow and your hunger level.Overall I may come back but I wouldn't let them hampered wheel me. Also not for a date more of a group bc of the seating situation and lack of privacy with conversation.

It was OK, but not great.
The fondue was really good. But fondue is basically always good. So I should say, the fondue here is a standout. The lamb chops, if you like that, were spectacular. The drinks were weak. The place is not very memorable, but not bad either. Moussaka was OK. The octopus was grilled nicely, but could have been better. To solidify itself as so so mediocrity--they didn't have any dessert, just small cookies. It's OK, but I wouldn't go back.

.. the food was good, no complaints there, but the drinks were not anything special. The service was good. Portions were not that big. I probably would try another place next time.
The atmosphere inside is fantastic. Modern, in-style and fun. The cocktails were prepared perfectly and the food was solid. Ordered crispy artichoke hearts which came with a much needed mint aoli to cut some the oiliness of the dish. We also had the flaming saganaki which was decadent. Our entree was the best part of the meal which was the shrimp orzo which was over the top fantastic. The sauce had the right amount of smokiness and richness that supported the perfectly cooked shrimp. Great meal, great service, great for a date night or whatever night you want it to be.

Came across this place as I was in my way to another bar, it was so preform the outside we decided to stay #noregrets ! Great drinks, great food! Had the chicken gyros in bao buns and WOW delicious! Can't remember the name of my drink but it was tequila, strawberry purée, lime and basil? Idk he didn't make it too sweet just like I asked. Love it here! Will be back :)

My husband and I were passing through the neighborhood and decided to try Lola Taverna. Here is a breakdown of my three star review:- Service 0 stars - food 5 stars - ambiance 3 stars We arrived at the host stand which is located outside and were asked for our vaccination cards and IDs (totally great). The host was super rude and said you need to put on your mask (mind you I was going to put on my mask before entering the restaurant; however, we were all standing outside and no one else was around). What could have been said is "before you enter the restaurant you will need to put on a mask".The host then tried to sit us outside when there was only one other person in the restaurant at the time (it was 30° outside). We asked to be seated inside and it was still freezing because they keep all the doors open and the ceiling fans on.The server came to our table and acted as though we were putting her out by wanting to put in our order (there were also tons of people working so, if she wanted to go home she probably should have asked her manager). The entire staff acted in the same fashion as our server and had a sense of arrogance about themselves as though they were better than the guests dining at the restaurant. We ordered the following:- Fondue (so delicious and they give you tons of pita bread)- moussaka (this dish was top notch and it's vegetarian, made with impossible meat)- hanger steak (my husband said the steak was cooked to perfection and the fries were extra crispy)Lola Taverna needs to get its act together when it comes to the service; I would love to come back to try other items on the menu; however, the service is truly a disgrace and will keep me and other guests away.Hopefully someone in management will read my review and have a talk with the team about how to treat paying customers.

Went for brunch this weekend.
My review (and only 3 stars) is based on a couple of items. 1. No one picks up the phone at all. I called several times, but kept getting a "phone disconnected" message. The website and the times on Resy don't match, so getting that straight and also having someone pick up the phone would be helpful. 2. The Resy app is very unclear. The choices for seating were for "Veranda" or "Indoor". I called to clarify what the heck a Veranda is but since no one picked up, I went with the assumption that it was outdoors. Tip for the restaurant- keep it simple and just call it indoors or outdoors. No need for fancy names, we need to know where we are sitting!. 3. When we got there, we were seated INDOORS in some area that looked like an extension of the main restaurant. My group was already seated so I could not move people, but if we made a reservation for "Veranda" I don't understand why you are calling the indoor section a Veranda. With covid cases on the rise, I wanted to sit outdoors, but wasn't given a choice. And by the way, the tables are very close together which did not make me feel safe at all. 4. My last gripe is that my coffee came in a paper cup and just black (I had to ask for milk). It looked like I could have gotten it from dunkin donuts. I understand supply chain/labor issues etc and have sympathy for small businesses, but this just seemed strange. Also, food was fine - I didn't have issues with it. The logistics should be easy to solve and if they do that, will make the restaurant better.

Quality prepared Latin dishes
Had a late lunch here. Lunch/brunch menu is kind of small but everting on it looked really great. Our meals were perfectly prepared

The dip trio was great! We did 2 Tzatziki and the hummus, and a couple glasses of wine! This spot is definitely a "thing" - always busy! I'd likely make a res if you want to come and sit down, especially with more than 2 people. I can't speak on the food other than those dips. It was great, very much a vibe, but also expensive (at least for what we got). Would I give it another shot? Definitely! Am I running to go back soon? Not so much. If I do go back, I'll keep you updated!
