We came here to try it to see what all the fuss is about.
Food was very good. Although some of the beef and chicken in the pad see ew and fried rice were a bit dry and tough. It took them a little longer to bring water and offer extra napkins to us. Must order: Garlic Prawns: delicious, perfectly fried and seasoned. Tofu: super delicious, crispy and pillow texture Pad see ew: the noodles were well seasoned but the meat was a little tough Rib eye: very tender and well seasoned! Mango sticky rice: I don't like mango sticky rice in general but this place has a very delicious one! Pass on: Tom yum hot pot: it was ok, a bit too sour for my liking. They also charge an autom But overall we were happy with our meal, will definitely be back during a time where it's not as busy to give them another try.
Be the first to ReplyHad dinner 4/15/2024 with a friend.
Service was very good, but the food wasn't that good. I had drunk in noodles with chicken. Sadly they were either over cook or left over from the night before...awful! The dish lack vegetables and just wasn't worth the rating and or price.

The food is alright, but the service seems to rush you for everything, bringing everything out all at the same time, and a very noisy dining room.
Be the first to ReplyI had high expectations for Lotus of Siam after I had heard
I had high expectations for Lotus of Siam after I had heard a lot about it from friends, but ultimately I was disappointed by my meal here. I made reservations a couple weeks out for the three of us Tuesday dinner at 5:45. We arrived on time and were promptly seated. It's a big restaurant and has nice decor. I personally thought the tables felt a little bit too close together, which felt unnecessary as it's a big space. I started off with the Royal Ricky mocktail for $8, which had a delightful lychee flavor. The menu is huge and offers many options that I don't see offered at Thai restaurants. We asked our server for recommendations, and he said their most popular items were the garlic prawns and crispy duck from the Mom's Highlights section as well as nam kao tod and tod mun plar (fish cake) from the shared plates section. Almost every dish can be ordered from a level of 1-10 spice. We tried the following: Garlic prawns ($35) - the most popular item here and the reason why I came to this restaurant. Sadly it was a mixed bag. I found them super bland, probably because I asked for no spice, but if that's the case they should have added more salt for flavor at least. However, they were fried really well. Even after sitting out for a while, they still retained their crispiness Crispy duck ($37) - the duck and red curry separately were both okay, but my friend and I both agreed that the two didn't go well together. It felt like the restaurant put two non matching things in one dish. Also, the duck wasn't particularly crispy so not sure why it's called crispy duck and not just duck curry. Plus for the price, I'd expect to get more duck, but again portions are very small here Nam kao tod ($15) - the crispiest rice I've ever had. I actually quite liked this dish and thought the crispy rice went well with the sour pork sausage Golden tofu ($12) - tofu was fried well but had zero flavor. The sweet and sour sauce it came with was mostly sweet with only a hint of sour, and there definitely wasn't enough sauce for all the tofu. We ran out halfway through and had to eat the super bland tofu on its own :( Pad thai with veggies ($18) - the dish tasted okay, but this was the smallest portion of pad thai I've ever seen. My friend was disappointed by the size.

Food was Amazing! The atmosphere in the evening was incredible with good ambiance. Little disappointed in our server.
Be the first to ReplyWe had lunch reservations here on a Sat at 2pm.
You definitely need reservations if you are planning on coming here because they are always busy. I've been wanting to try Lotus of Siam forever!! We ordered 2 thai iced coffees, thai iced tea, papaya salad, stuffed chicken wings, coconut tom kha gai, pad thai with chicken, and garlic shrimp. They gave us chicken lollipops instead of stuffed chicken wings which we didn't notice until we already started eating. The service here is very slow and poor. Multiple times I tried flagging down a waiter for extra chili powder, but instead of getting it they would say let me get your waiter instead. By the time I got any extra chili powder I was almost done with my food. The food is also just not spicy. I ordered medium spicy on the papaya salad because I didn't want to force my friends to eat super spicy food with me but we all agreed it was not spicy at all. My favorite dish was the garlic shrimp! It was so crispy and unlike anything else I have had before. I also really enjoyed the chicken lollipops even though it was not what we had ordered. I don't think I would come here again because I think it is overpriced for the serving size and the poor service.

Ok. A bit overrated. Must tell you that food was good. Not off the charts good, but being from Cali, Thai restaurants are a dime a dozen. I mean, go to Thai town or the Thai temple and you know what good Thai food really is. The prawn was really good and the crab fried rice was commendable. But for the price you pay... they better be. They like to upsell for sure. Instead of saying that standard meats like Chicken, Pork and Tofu is included, they fail to mention that beef and shrimp is an extra charge to an already expensive dish. Rice is not even included. I'm just saying, if you are going to charge me extra, make sure you add enough to satisfy the up charge you do.

Last time we had a horrible experience, but I won't go into that. This time, wow, they're back! Clean, friendly, attentive and oh-so delicious. I can't offer much more than anyone else, but damn, they reminded me how much I love this place. Perfect service, food and of course wine. Amazing!
Be the first to ReplyEvery time I'm in Vegas it's a must.
You can make reservations online. My favorite is the shrimp i don't understand how they do it but it's fried to perfection and you can eat the shell. First time ever my shrimp was soft large tasty( curry) medium spice. Fried rice pineapple was out of this world. The place is fun you can sit at bar the bar is first come first served they are very knowledgeable on all the menu plus serve amazing drinks.
Be the first to Reply100% worth the schlep off-strip.
All this was excellent: * Crispy duck * Papaya salad * Chicken lollipops * Soft shell crab Make a reservation. Service is streched a little thin, but otherwise good.
Be the first to ReplyI like the Nua Yang rama sauce( ribeye steak).
The flavour is amazing. The steak was delicious , juicy" in my mouth. The medium rare is the best one. the price is 39$ . But the quality is qood ,and the server is quick and friendly. The place is very big, clean and elite decoration.

Went for a special night for the wife and my birthday yesterday. The hostess seen my reservation but when she sat us down didn't hear happy birthday from her or our waiter. Food was good but my ribeye was dry. Egg rolls good, I was just disappointed when I reserved the reservation that I wrote in the message it was both our birthdays. To me that was the one and only time I will be going there. Other restaurants over the years told us happy birthday and even gave us a birthday dessert

Be the first to ReplyWhat more an be said for one of the best non Hotel/Resort
What more an be said for one of the best non Hotel/Resort restaurants in Las Vegas. Have eaten at Lotus from when they were in the dumpy shopping center to the location on Flamingo Road and it never disappoints The newer location is smaller that the older one ( I was told that the older location will reopen, remodeled and bigger than before) but the food and service was unchanged, both excellent. Very nice interior and plenty of parking (though we did take an Uber). Mostly forgot the names of the items we ordered but will never forget how great the flavor, taste and presentations of the food were. I enclosed a pic of the bill so you can see with we had. Make a reservation and go to Lotus, you will be going back often as I have.
Be the first to ReplyI'm from Utah, and always HAD to visit lotus of Siam
I'm from Utah, and always HAD to visit lotus of Siam whenever I'm in vegas. However I don't think that will be the case anymore. I decided to give this place another chance, as I truly loved their food from the original location, but unfortunately this place did not live up to our expectations. Only the fried prawns were good (but still not as crispy as the ones I've had before). The duck curry was also good (but could be more crisp). The larb was served without sauce, and they said they'd 'remake' the whole dish but they just added sauce on top. The stir fry noodles we ordered were also incredibly wet, and there wasn't much flavour. For the price we paid, it definitely wasn't worth it. I probably won't be back for anything except the prawns.
Be the first to ReplyIf your not Asian they will give you shitty service.
My mother and I walked in and was asked if we had a reservation we said no. The hostess then directed us to the bar we're we sat for about 5 min before they acknowledged us. Finally they came over and told us the kitchen was closed and that we were welcome to come back in a couple of hours. It was humiliating and they all whispered in foreign languages and mocked us. I hear the food is good though.
Be the first to ReplyThis place has terrific food.
We really enjoyed everything, the tom kha soup was absolutely fantastic, just the right mix of coconut and lemon flavor. The Khao Soi was the star, the sauce was a unique curry type sauce with delicious noodles and chicken. We also had the Musaman curry with short ribs, which was flavorful and rich, and the short ribs were melt in your mouth tender. The location is also an upgrade from the other one on Sahara, it's decorated beautifully. The service was good but also the waitress upsold drink items without mentioning she had and it felt like a sly way to rip you off. The prices are already very high and I can understand why some people think it's too expensive here.
Be the first to ReplyWe were excited to try it here and disappointed in the food.
We got a ton yum mi and lychee martini, I liked the Tom yum mi but she did not like the martini. We ordered garlic prawns and duck khao soi to share. The garlic prawns were good but not special, a little greasy, needed more sauce. The duck khao soi was really disappointing- the duck was very dry, the skin was very crispy but didn't have flavor, and the broth didn't taste like very much. It was like only coconut milk even though we ordered a spice level 6/10. The service was good and it is a nice restaurant but the total bill for 2 drinks, appetizer and entree came out to about $140 which is too expensive for poor food.
Be the first to ReplyOff the Vegas strip is a popular Thai restaurant.
We made reservations for 2 as Yelpers suggested. When we arrived the waiting area was packed, we spent the time looking over the menu. We ordered chicken lollipops (fried chicken wings), crispy duck khao soi, and garlic prawns. We should have paid better attention because everything we ordered was fried. The chicken lollipops were meaty and crunchy. The crispy duck was crispy as well and the sauce was flavorful (we asked for mild but it wasn't spicy at all) The prawns were beautifully presented. The shell removed but artfully attached at the base of the prawns and fried to be edible. It was like shrimp-chips. Service was quick and attentive. Overall the food was good but only the prawns stood out as special. I wish we ordered a more balanced meal. The Thai ice tea was watered-down.

It's delicious and very tasty! Best Thai food in Vegas! It's a must and right off the strip!
Be the first to ReplyThis has been one of my favorite places and I try to dine
This has been one of my favorite places and I try to dine here whenever I am in Vegas. The last time was in 2018. First time at their newer location. It did not disappoint. Food was amazing!! It's been a couple of months since I was there and I can't remember exactly what I had but it was all delicious.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food.
Simply the best Thai food I have ever had. I would wholeheartedly recommend making this a part of your vegas experience.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food, great service.
If you're in Vegas and you love Thai, definitely worth a visit. Ambiance was nice also, although I don't remember much - I was too distracted by the food. :)
Be the first to ReplyThe word for this place is simple.
Amazing! From the food to the service it all goes above and beyond. I will start by saying that this is the best Thai food I have tasted outside of Thailand and if I'm being honest even better than some of the food I had when I visited there. There are some things you cannot miss out on here. Two of those dishes are the Garlic Prawns and the Khao Soi with roasted duck. The prawns are huge and they have the perfect combination of salty and sweet taste. It's probably my favorite dish here. The Khao Soi with duck is a close second for my favorite. Sometimes depending on the day it's even too close to call. The duck is amazing but the sauce and noodle combo in this dish truly is on another level. One of my favorite Thai dishes is actually Tom Yum Kai soup. This is the soup that comes with a coconut cream broth usually with mushrooms and I get it with chicken but you can get what ever protein you like. This place has one the best Tom Yum Kai soups I have ever tried and I order it everywhere. Lastly for desert you cannot go wrong with the fried banana and if your feeling extra fancy and okay with spending 20 on an unreal desert get the mango sorbet on top. I have been here a few times now and it has become my favorite Thai restaurant anywhere. The service is amazing. The Waiters and waitresses constantly check in on you and make you feel like royalty. You should make a reservation here especially if your coming in on A weekend and especially if it's for dinner. The pro tip on this place is don't be afraid to do lunch here. It's probably less busy and you can get all the same good. I don't take it lightly eating anywhere at 5 stars, but this place has the high quality food and service to earn it. It's a must try in Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyThis place was extremely packed, however all of our food
This place was extremely packed, however all of our food came out quickly and fresh. It is a bit of an odd layout, and quite awkward when you are sitting toward the back of the restaurant and need to walk to the restroom in the front. There is hardly any walkway. But the hands down best dish are the prawns, absolutely a must order.
