Thank you for ruining Thai food for me because I can't eat
Thank you for ruining Thai food for me because I can't eat Thai food anywhere else!! LOL. This was the best meal of the weekend, out of Nobu, Spago, and x pot. This food is AAAAMAZING. Next time I come to Vegas I'm coming here for breakfast lunch and dinner. This place haunts me. Me and the bf are on a hunt for a place that even comes close to this in LA. And unsuccessfully, to say the least . Food: Short rib khao soi, satay and fried prawns. Could eat this every day of my life. This has to be one of my favorite restaurants of all time. Super authentic and yummy food. You can taste the quality in every dish. Looking forward to the day I come back to Vegas because I'm stopping here first and trying everything on the menu.
😍
This is the best Thai food you will ever eat.
Portions are not as large as when I first ate here but the quality makes it still worth going. Gotta get the prawns when you come here, but everything else is excellent.

The food here is generally pretty good but I think that it's because most of it is fried. Food:Fried pork spare ribs - pretty good Sea bass with noodles - very goodFried chicken dumplings - very goodCrispy rice with pork sausage - ok Fried prawns - very goodDuck khao soi - pretty goodMango stick rice - delicious Pandan flan - very good
😍
Recommend Chef's Special Panang Crispy Dusk Curry.
Asked for 8/10 spice level. It was medium spicy for someone who likes spicy food. Recommend making a reservation during the weekend. Would go there again.

If you haven't tried this place yet then you're definitely missing out on something amazing! Every dish they have on the menu is delicious. I'm so happy they upgraded from their previous and much more closer to the strip area. It's always a great time here at Lotus of Siam! Come hungry and leave satisfied!

Definitely need to update my review after a super disappointing experience today at lunch. We ordered the mee krob, drunken noodles with crispy duck and the garlic prawns. Mee krob was good, tasted fresh. The crispy duck was gross- tasted old and rancid. The flavors of the drunken noodles were lacking to say the least. The garlic prawns were good. However, when I ordered I asked for heavy sauce and lots of garlic because obviously that's where the flavor was at. When we got our bill it was an EXTRA $3 EACH FOR THE GARLIC AND $3 FOR THE SAUCE. SO $6 for the prawn dish. WTF. Our server did not disclose the extra charge. When you add 20% to an already expensive dish it definitely ruins the experience and leaves a bad taste in addition to the gross duck. Won't be back.
If you think this is authentic then you haven't had authentic. I'd recommend trying anywhere else. We had really high hopes and we were very disappointed***edit after restaurant response. LOL goes to show what kind of management you have with a response like this about me not liking the food...
🙂
This review is a few months late.
I went on a Friday with a couple of other people without a reservation, and we were seated probably within 5 minutes, but we might have gotten lucky. We ordered a lot of food and drinks. The nam kao tod (crispy fried rice) is a fun, must have appetizer. I ordered the crispy duck curry. I'm not a huge fan of duck anyway, but it was tender and juicy and the curry was delicious. I also accidentally ended up having two cocktails and they were both very very good. It's also worth mentioning that the service was excellent. Overall had a good time.
😍
I honestly love this place so much.
If I lived in Las Vegas I'd coming here every week. I absolutely love the pad Thai and the crispy rice appetizer! The satay chicken is probably the best satay chicken I had in my life. Every time I go, I'll forsure get it. It's ways good to make a reservation but the pass couple of time I been walking in and surprisingly I get seated faster then the wait time suggested. If you're ever in the area give it a try! Oh try the ton yum cocktail too! But most importantly get the pad Thai!
🙂

Pricy for sure but damn the food was really good !For the three of us we ordered- Crispy Duck Khao Soi (4/5): the duck was tender but sadly not too crispy. I could have actually done without the duck altogether, especially since it tasted a little too alcoholic for me. However, the curry itself was rich and delicious and the egg noodles were perfectly chewy without being mushy- Short Rib Panang (4.5/5): the short rib was super tender and flavorful. The panang curry was also extremely flavorful. Wish the portion size was bigger and found it odd it didn't come with rice (+$4)- Garlic Prawn (5/5): believe the hype! The garlic prawns were INCREDIBLE. Perfectly fried with a savory umami flavor. Even the shell had so much flavor! Get this x1000 even though its pricy- Fried Banana Roll (4/5): these were good! Super tender and sweet in the inside with a crispy wonton exterior. Also tasted some coconut flavors inside which complemented the bananaThe bill ended up being about ~$50 per person after tax and tip and we weren't totally full. Service was also a bit slow- with the whole meal taking an hour and a half despite ordering right away. Would definitely come back though if I was ever in Vegas again
🙂
I visited Lotus on a trip to Vegas.
I sat at the bar and the guys at the bar were very attentive. I thought the food was good and fresh, but I've had better. Also, the portion was small. I had a total of 5 shrimp in my dish and it didn't come with rice (a basic Thai basil dish). My cocktails were good at $16 each. If I had to do it all over again, I'd try somewhere different, but the great reviews led me here.

WOW. JUST WOW. The meal truly demonstrated entire spectrums of both texture and flavor. Each bite was a mini fireworks in my mouth. Crunch. Spicy. Tangy. Creamy. Ugh so good. Our favorite dish was the roasted duck. Generous chunks of duck dunked in creamy savory khao soi. My second favorite dish was the khao soi dish for the same reason. The crispy rice salad and steak tartare were phenomenal as well. So much flavor in every grain of rice and piece of steak. The best part was, Thai iced coffee had the perfect amount of sugar and caffeine to keep me alive from the impending food coma. What a magical enriching experience!
🙂
This place is classy Thai and it's always packed.
Recommend you get a reservation or you show up before dinner hours to be first in line. The crispy duck with the khao soi noodles was amazing. Must try crispy duck!!

Best Thai food in Vegas!!!!!!! Hands Down, northern style
Best Thai food in Vegas!!!!!!! Hands Down, northern style Thai food, chef received a James Beard award. The drinks are fabulous, they have a drink that donates $10 to a local animal shelter so had to try that. Was in town for a concert, this place has been on my bucket list. Had the appetizer of veggies, pork rinds and chili dip. This is a traditional dish and was wonderful. Then had the sea bass with papaya salad, delicate and delish, loved the grapes that were added. Also had the Khao Soi with duck, this dish is sexy AF. It's creamy broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and rich crispy duck. It was to die for!!! We finished with the Thai tea flan that was accompanied by a banana spring roll. It was the perfect ending to this meal. When we waited for our Uber to pick us up afterward, we chatted with other people leaving that had the same look. We all were just in a food coma, an amazing one. This place will take you toThailand, it authentic, you can order any dish to your spice level, nothing is Americanized. Trust me and next time you visit Las Vegas go here!!!I will be visiting every single time I visit from now on!

We have attempted once to get a table here (it was a 2-hour wait) and tried to reserve online for years during our trips here in Vegas. We got lucky this time and snagged a reservation for lunch on a Sunday. The service is impeccable and the food came fast. We ordered several items but I only took a few pictures since I was completely sidetracked by the delicious food!Appetizers:Garlic Crispy Prawns (Pictured) - eat the crispy shells!Egg rollsMain:Khao Soi with Chicken (Pictured)Crispy Duck in red curry (Pictured)Pad Thai with ShrimpFresh chili fried riceSome disappointments...they didn't have:Whole Red SnapperMango with sticky rice Not only was this one of the best Thai meals we had, the Pad Thai transported me back to Bangkok! Normally the Pad Thai I had in America are too sweet for me. The duck simply melted in your mouth! We will be coming back in 2 months and will be sure to reserve early and re-order some dishes and get my fish and dessert.

Have been wanting to try this place for quite some time
Have been wanting to try this place for quite some time now! Came with a patty of 10 on a Saturday night. We tried to make a reservation early in the week but they said that they didn't have any available and suggested that we just come when the restaurant opens for the best chance of being seated. We arrived around 6 and luckily we were able ti be seated fairly quickly. Service was friendly and fast! My favorite dishes were the duck curry and the garlic prawns. These are must gets! We also tried the Tom yum soup which I thought had too much of a fish sauce flavor than I'm used to, pad Thai, pad sew, papaya salad, Tom kha soup, chicken lean, squid larb, and crab fried rice. These were all very good and high quality, but nothing that I haven't tasted at Thai restaurants in LA. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm glad I finally tried it as I've heard the chef here cooked for Thai royalty!
😍

My husband and I had gone here many years ago and had a bad experience but after talking to some friends decided to give it another try. We focused on Northern Thai favorites this time and got the garlic prawns, crispy duck khao soi and the Chilean sea bass with suki sauce. Everything was delicious. The khao soi is a delicate peanut buttery coconut taste with a spice that creeps up on you. It was so good with the egg noodles. The shrimp tasted so good with the crispness. I didn't think I'd like to eat the shells but I did and they were good! The fish was perfectly cooked. It was light and flaky and the suki sauce spicy and flavorful. We decided it was the best Thai we've ever had. We have reservations for next week.

Panang Curry!! We're from Utah and this is always TOP of our list for eating in Vegas.
😍
Always a favorite restaurant of mine! Love Lotus of Siam.
We ordered take-out and it was just as good as we remembered. Their Pad Thai with ground chicken is delicious. The Panang with sliced beef was flavorful and creamy - I love their curry. Lastly, we had the fried chicken dumplings which were also very good. The order was ready for pick-up, everyone was friendly. I just wish it was closer to home.
😒
One of those typical upscale American Thai Restaurants.
Good decor, location, service, and everything except food itself. Don't know how this wave started here in states. It's probably good business, but I don't particularly like the idea of running a restaurant like a hair salon. We ordered the following dishes:-TOM YUM-THAI FRIED RICE-GREEN CURRY SHRIMP-SA.TAY BEEFBut we feel they are not real Thai food, particularly the Tom Yum Soup (See the Photo!!). And we didn't even taste the Fish Sauce in that. So, If you want to eat authentic Thai food, go to Chinatown, and choose any restaurant that is better and less expensive than this one.
😍
Fabulous Thai experience
What a wonderful place for Thai food. Their menu is extensive, the wait staff and service are exceptional. Our waiter advised us on his favorite dishes, and they were outstanding. Definitely worth dining here!

Got this recommendation from our Uber driver when we were
Got this recommendation from our Uber driver when we were going from the airport to the hotel so figured we would try it. We love Thai food and a great meal on a relatively cold day. We walked from the strip - a little bit of a walk, but not crazy. I always only order the Coconut Chicken Soup (as a meal). (Tom Kha Gai). I measure Thai places by how well they make that dish. (I even make it at home because I like it so much). Based on that metric, have to give Lotus 3 stars. It was good, not great and certainly not killer. A bit too creamy and less flavorful that I like. My wife got the shrimp Panang and loved it All in all, a good meal, different than the boring or stupid expensive food on the strip. Lotus was reasonably priced and we got seated quickly. If you like Thai, I suspect it is one of the best in Vegas - not sure that is a super high bar though. Also - certainly depends on what you order. Worth a try if you want Thai in Vegas

Wow. I mean, what can I add to all the previous reviews
Wow. I mean, what can I add to all the previous reviews that hasn't been said? I'm not sure how tourists find their way here, but Flamingo Rd is packed daily, so the word is certainly out (and has been for a while). I walked over from our hotel with our group that's here in business. I felt like we were under dressed, and we did not have a reservation, but we were seated relatively quickly without any dirty looks at our "fresh off the plane" jeans and hoodies. The food was tremendously good :-). So many reviews said it would be, and they aren't wrong. The service was extremely attentive and the atmosphere was defiantly more for taking a casual date than for our super casual group. I can't add anything that hasn't already been said, so I'll end with a request that they serve breakfast... because I'm the morning, there's a food desert around the hotel where you options are poor or non-existent.
Everything was good! My favorite is the garlic prawn, must try!! My only issue (therefore one star off) is that the portion is small. I ordered 10 items and thought we would have plenty to share among 6 adults and 2 kids, we actually ended up finishing most of everything. And each dish, each person would just have a little bite. But it is Las Vegas so I get it. The flavor was definitely there though!
😍
Possibly the best Thai restaurant I have been to.
I always order the northern Thai pre-fix menu. It comes with Nam prik ong, thum ka noon, northern lamb, braised short khao soi, and sweet sticky rice with coconut sorbet. A great deal with a variety of flavors. The staff is always courteous and attentive. The environment is inviting and comfortable with dark woods, tile floors, amber lights. Be sure to make a reservation since they are always full.
🙂

Our first time hereSmart to make a reservation!Nice good quality fancy menuFull bar, extensive wine selection & plenty of food options to satisfy any palette.Waiter knowledge, helped us navigate the menu. ***note to self order dishes one or two at a time so they come out staggered. I wanted to poo poo on this place, but couldn't.
The food here was excellent - I can see why everyone wants to come here.Living in NYC, we have some spectacular Thai food throughout the city, especially in Queens. So when my friends suggested we come here on a recent trip to Vegas, part of me was a bit skeptical it would really wow me. However, Lotus of Siam is worthy of the hype.Reservations are definitely the way to go here. Even with reservations, you see a line queueing prior to the restaurant opening - it's wild! Here's the food we got:Garlic prawns: Bursting with flavor and so crispy. Everyone seems to order this dishPapaya salad: One of the better papaya salads I've had, the perfect balance of spicy-sweet-sour-acid. My only wish is that the serving was a TAD bit larger for the price.Crispy duck curry: Duck was a prefect complement to the rich and flavor packed curry. Paired perfectly with rice.Drunken noodle: Was topped with fish, can't remember which (sea bass?). Regardless was so good.Lotus of Siam always shows up on food lists for Vegas, and I can see why. Definitely add it to your hit list whenever you're in the city!
😍
Lotus of Siam is my #1 Thai place to eat in Las Vegas.
I've enjoyed every item I've ordered here. I used to eat at the Sahara location until they moved to 620 E. Flamingo, which is located on the North side of Flamingo between (East) of Paradise and (West) of University Center Drive. Almost always busy and you might try to call ahead to get on seating list. I highly recommend Lotus of Siam. Service, atmosphere, and quality are standouts at this restaurant. This restaurant is visited by people from all over the world and all walks of life because of the quality and traditional offerings. You will definitely enjoy this restaurant.
🙂
I truly enjoyed my dinner.
Though confused about how to book a reservation, I was sat quickly at the bar. The food was delicious and authentic in nature. I look forward to returning and trying new dishes.

I've been wanting to come here for seven years!Snagged a reservation, almost in tears. My partner spoke so highly of this place, couldn't wait to try and stuff my face. This was one of the best meals of my life.(and I eat A LOT, to both my joy and strife)A consistent high standard for every plateunique, thoughtful, flavorful, first rate.I want to highlight the nam khao todEVERY DAMN GRAIN OF RICE CRISPY, GODI've been trying to replicate it at home(As are many chef and others, I'm not alone!)Also the damn garlic shrimp appas the kids are saying, "it slaps."Crispy, sticky, tender little guyscrunchy edible shells, to my surprise.Thank you for such a wonderful meal.Inspiring, delicious, gave me all the feels.I'd literally move to Vegas to live on this menu.Lotus, you star, keep being you.
🙂
Super delicious Thai food! 4 stars because it's pricey.
Ordered a Thai tea, the green curry , a bowl of rice, garlic prawns, and pad Thai- somehow our bill with tax and tip toppled over $90 for two people for lunch. We didn't go overboard on the ordering as we finished everything without needing doggy bags. That seems pretty extravagant for an off-the-strip lunch IMO. Food was delicious and service was good. We will be back next time we're in town!
We heard about this restaurant and have been going here for 4 or 5 years now, whenever we were in Vegas, now we live her and get to go frequently, which suits us just fine!
The service is always amazing. Joe and his team took great care of us tonight. We started with the crunchy rice, which is always good and one of their known dishes and our companions enjoyed the chicken dumplings.
I had the garlic BBQ prawns, which bbq isn't quite the right word, grilled with a green sauce, but delicious. My husband had a sausage dish, which had a kick, but good.
Our friends had stir fried rice (shrimp and crab) and the garlic prawns, another one of their specialties and loved it all.
We have never had a average dish here. If you are a fan of Thai and in Vegas, this is a must do restaurant.
😍
Flavorful and Delicious
Loved the short drive off the strip to Lotus of Siam. Reservations are a must. We didn't know what to expect. I did hear many good reviews from foodie friends who say this is their favorite Thai place in Vegas. We loved the atmosphere and the servers were kind a courteous. Garlic shrimp was amazing. Crab fried rice was delicious. Yumilicious!
😍
Best Thai outside of Thailand
I am very picky about my Thai food and Lotus of Siam never, never disappoints. The service is .very spot on. The drinks...the food are excellent. I started my meal with a Kumquat Martini...so bloody good. For an appetizer I had the Golden Tofu with a chili sauce...delish. For my entree I had the Seabass with Drunken Noodles....amazing. My dinner companion had as an appetizer shrimp wrapped in bacon...he said it was lovely. For an entree he had the Deep Fried Prawns in a salt and pepper sauce. Now, for this dish...you eat the entire prawn...shells and the tail. I tried two of them...okay...four of them and they were amazing. The shells and the tail...has the texture and tastes like a potato chip. Very cool. Excellent meal.
🙂
Good Food, not Covid safe
Really lovely, but pricy Thai restaurant. The food was delicious, but no Covid distancing. This was the one place I thought if we are going to get it, it will be here. Might try again when there is less risk. Staff was excellent.
