Mimi's Hummus Brooklyn Reviews from The Last Year

So a very pleasant surprise on this Sunday evening from this spot. We came here as a third choice, but it should have been our first choice. We started with sharing Humus and it was dam delicious! Only drawback was they only gave one pita to share and it's a ton of humus. I had the falafel plate which gives you a choice of 2 mall plate salads I had the beets and cauliflower both were again really good. My date had mujadarra plate and cauliflower. She said it was great too. The real off beat surprise is the beer list with some of the best craft beers around! ( Grimm, Threes, Evil Twin and my new favorite Killsboro Kilssner ) I'll be back and you should make it a stop too

I had to be quick, but it was simply amazing and the service was exquisite. I enjoyed the falafel platter and it came out within about six minutes.

Ate here to see if this restaurant would be a great fit for a Sunday brunch with 15 friends. We are looking for a local spot to have authentic Moroccan food. The person who served me was quite pleasant and helpful. She answered all my questions about the food. I enjoyed my food immensely. The only downside to this restaurant is that they allow dogs inside. It's too small of a place for pets. One dog was jumping on everything inside the store area and it made me think about whether that was hygienic because of its paws all over the streets of NY.
Recent service and food quality has improved.
The outdoor space is great and the menu is varied. Really love this spot, it's now the best place in Cortelyou to eat. We
Not much to say except for don't walk RUN to Mimi's Hummus.
One of the best meals I had in a long time. Everything was AMAZING! The service was immaculate and welcoming. The ambiance was cute and quaint. A Cortelyou road gem I know I will return to over and over again.

Mimi's has been around the entire time I've lived in the area and I've always used the small grocery shop portion for hummus and other Mediterranean salads and spreads because the quality is incredible and they really do have my favorite hummus. The staff is always apathetic and weird, not mean or anything, just kind of.....perpetually annoyed. The atmosphere is hit or miss because of the layout and the fact it can get really hot in the greenhouse style "outdoor" seating. Prices are in line with similar places but in my opinion $8 is a little high for a small container of hummus. It's still really good and consistent, so there's that.

The server is very rude & unfriendly, small portions and overpriced . Even charge for condiment that should come with order... nothing special for $22 for falafel or anything else on menu

Returned for dinner last weekend and thought it was even better than the brunch we had last time! We really enjoyed the eggplant hummus ($14 - wish it came with one more pita!), the shawarma bowl ($17) and the branzino bowl ($22). Such homey comfort food.
I understand rent in Brooklyn is high but, after this meal
I understand rent in Brooklyn is high but, after this meal so is my cholesterol and sodium levels. Only thing down is my bank account. I would usually pass on leaving a review but this pricing deserves some critiques. The shawarma "bowl" was as pungent as salt water and had very little representation of what shawarma should be. The falafel was decent at best but seemed like something i could take out of my freezer and deep fry. Lastly, the pita, i thought i ordered pita but it was actually a frisbee.
Food was bussin.
Strolled in on a Wednesday night with my husband and we enjoyed a relaxing dinner. The store and restaurant is really cute. Service was busy but that's ok. You have to be patient but food and drinks came out quickly. Not sure what the other review was about but this street is not that busy for NY. We will be back.
