two for dinner on a saturday evening in late june.
this was my second visit (oddly, i forgot to yelp the previous visit). we decided not to have appetizers. the spicy margarita is a homerun! we ordered the whole branzino a la talla (grilled, skin on) and the chicken pastor which was a special. the branzino comes with 4 small white corn tortillas, pickled red onions and radishes, avocado, plus black beans and rice. i could eat this every day! the chicken pastor was half of a very large bird (so good value there) with a tangy, thin tomato-y sauce (it made me think of a mexican version of hot-and-sour sauce), plus pineapple on the side -- the pineapple was cut into small pieces then cooked but it was served cold (not bad, but i think pineapple should have been warm). red beans and rice accompanied the chicken. a very, very good dish; and a great value since you walk away with a lot of leftovers. their mexican rice is perfect. the dining room is small and skinny. both times i sat at the table next to and looking into the kitchen -- which is fine by me. 4 women run the kitchen. quietly. the outside patio was packed and very busy when we left through the front to go to politics & prose, next door. on my previous visit we had the chips service for appetizer which included the cashew "queso" which is outstanding -- get it with whatever you're having.

It's amazing how much Muchas Gracias has packed into its narrow dining room. The restaurant was fully booked on an early Saturday evening. It has a small bar area, a long dining room, and outdoor seating in a back patio. While the restaurant was crowded, the food and service were superb. The restaurant elevates Mexican cuisine that feels both familiar and yet unexpected. We tried the crab avocado salad (loved it), grilled steak, and enchiladas with mole. All dishes were delicious and the margarita was also a hit. Needless to say, reservations are recommended.
Was inspired to log back into yelp just to drop a 5 star.
Spicy marg 10/10, tres leches 10/10, aguachile 10/10, plantain 10/10, service 10/10, bartender 10/10, ambiance 10/10 basically perfect - I highly recommend will be bringing my parents here next time they visit if that means anything to y'all

Having moved from CA to the DMV, it took awhile to find Mexican food I was not comparing. We finally found it at Muchas Gracias. The quality of the food and the service is outstanding. I've only been there twice, but both times the server was so accommodating, and everything we ordered was outstanding. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Mexican cuisine with a bit of a flair, cozy place with not a lot of seating but what's there works well. Super duper cocktails! Love the salsas with the chips, not your typical salsas so that was fun. Loved the chicken mole enchiladas, simple but really good. You gotta try the plantains, they are sweet plantains served with a crema sauce and some sort of chocolate-y sauce, not really mole but super good, the combo of it all was awesome and different. The fish tacos were good but a bit boring, needed something more jazzy in my opinion, still good though! Loved the mushrooms & cactus served with the fundido. Everything was just really great, I totally recommend coming here just for the cocktails but also for a relaxed dinner atmosphere with upscale food. Prob not a great spot for very little kids because it's such tight seating, no room to do anything, but ok for a little bit older. Bathroom was very clean too!

Always love our meals from Muchas gracias.
We usually enjoy family tacos meals at home, but we adventures out amidst the snow for in-person dining. We had wonderful appetizers, the branzino.

My wife and I ordered from here on DoorDash for Day of the Dead and we really loved the Family Taco Guisado platter we also got with Baja Fish and Guacamole. Everything was delicious and fun to make and the Tres Leches was amazing too! We look forward to ordering from and/or dining in here in the future.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
