Such a picturesque setting for a drink.
It was a tad confusing finding how to get here once in the hotel itself, we were staying at The Line, but we found our way there. Reservations, I think would be mandatory we had made them. Even then, you only get 1.5Hrs to enjoy, before you are shimmed out for the next guests. Which is fine, just know that coming in. We did. Once we were settled, our server came over to take our orders. Affable server who provided us with options available during the HH and asked if we were going to be snacking, etc. We weren't eating, we had reservations to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant Arlo Grey. Just a few drinks and conversation until we heading that way. I will say that the price point was lower then I would of expected. HH 4-6pm $4 Pearl Snaps downtown is an impressive bargain. They have a full bar/wine available as well as house Cocktails. Although we didn't order munchies, There was a rather active group of ladies who had ordered the cheese and charcuterie plates and hummus. If you were to eat with your eyes, then these looked splendid. They offer brunch at here if case you are so inclined. Service was a tad spotty, but the manager/chef? did come around and pick up the slack when they got a tad busy. It's the industry these days. We didn't pine to long waiting on our drink refills and such. Ambiance, well the cool prayer flags hanging from the rafters were all out of prayers I fear. Very well worn indeed. Shame really, since I'm sure they are brilliant in the sun when they were first installed. There is a really cozy whicker furniture vibe going on here. Summery, light, airy feel with the decor belonging in Nantucket. Never been, but I could see how Martha Stewart would give it two thumbs up. There is a indoor area with AC, if that is your jam. Make that reso tho.

Love the rooftop vibes! I've gone here every time I've visited ATX and the menu changes every so often. The food is shareable portions and it's best because you get to try a little bit of everything. They have really good strong drinks. The waiters/waitresses are always attentive and close by when needed.

The view is certainly a nice touch to P6, and the shade does a pretty considerable job with the heat. The Coconut Gin Cocktail was very refreshing in the 95+ degree heat. The food, however, underwhelming. This spot is more for the view and "cute" chic. As expected, many girl dates and bachelorettes. You can expect many persons taking Instagrammable photos. Would recommend for a pre-dinner happy hour or cocktail.
We visited p6 on Sunday night.
Our nephew really wanted to see the bats. We had a wonderful time. Even though the bats decided to stay in for the night. lol. The rooftop is lovely, the views are incredible, and the staff is so incredibly friendly. Our server, Evan, was terrific! The hostess was so sweet to write down a bat website for our nephew so he could learn more about them and watch videos. The sunset from the roof was truly beautiful, and we even watched a sunset proposal. I'm certain those photos are spectacular. It was so special being there to witness a proposal in such a great spot. I wish them all the best. The food was tasty and light, which hit the spot on such a hot day. And on Sundays, all bottles of wine are $20 off! The hotel valet was only $10 for 3 hours at the restaurant. And the valet only takes Apple Pay and cards, no cash, so be prepared. Highly recommend.

The charcuterie board and drinks were fresh and just the right combination of flavors. Amazing humus! I liked that we could be dressed up or elevated casual for happy hour. We went at 4:00pm which was the only time we could get a last minute spot so, make reservations!! Service was great. Because this place is the hot patio to be at, it's gonna be busy. Note: They respect reservations including the ones ahead of you so expect them to politely tell you when your time is up. For me, it's no big deal but Karens beware. Oh and *echo* gorgeous views.
The customer service was severely lacking.
The hostess was very kind and greeted us right away and showed us to our reserved table. She was the ONLY employee with good service. We sat at our table, outside in the heat, for over 15 minutes with no greeting from a server. I had to ask someone walking by to get us water. After getting water, it still took another 15 minutes for the server to finally come to our table for the first time. She was not polite at all and walked up and said "are y'all ready to order?" After she hadn't even greeted us or apologized for the delay in service. I completely understand being busy or in the weeds, but what wasn't cool is that I saw our server continuously checking on all of the other tables around us. She saw that we were sitting there waiting and it felt like she blatantly ignored us. She continued to not check on us after that and we only saw her again when she brought our checks. This place really needs to improve their service if they want repeat customers.

it was like a maze. parking is limited, best to get dropped off there. really cool atmosphere, outdoor seating, vibes, fresh air, beautiful view, and moisture fans to keep you cool if you're sitting outside. I think the food is the only way to enjoy here. not so much for the drinks. ordered the scallop, super delicious, and affordable for the price. a must try! large potato wedges were super salty, not worth the purchase. however, the crisp was enjoyable. overall, cool spot to enjoy some great food and scenic rooftop views.

Drinks were okay. Food was just okay. I don't recommend the scallops. You get 2 small scallops served on a sweet purée for $26. Service was absolutely amazing!! If the food and drinks were better, I would have given this place 5 stars. Will definitely be back though!

Would of left 0 stars if possible, terrible service, waited 10 mins at a half empty bar, not even an acknowledgment, left, so many better places in Austin don't waste your time here

Beautiful indoor/outdoor patio lounge on the 6th floor of the line hotel. Pretty decent happy hour too. Definitely not a dinner spot but has good small plates and apps for snacking on!
Came here for my 5th yr wedding anniversary.
"Underwhelming" doesn't begin to describe our experience. The food was over priced, and under seasoned for small portions. The drinks were good but the service was horrible. In the single hour we spent there, it was very disappointing. The views are amazing and the ambiance fair. I'm so surprised NOBODY has mentioned that the rooftop is SURROUNDED BY VENT FANS! It's so loud, the music is so turned up forcing you to scream at whoever you're with. I get it, "you pay for the ambiance" but this place IS NOT WORTH IT!!!
Celebratory Sunset Drinks & Nibbles
We visited here while we were on holiday, from the UK! Situated on the top of the Line hotel, this place is ideal for sunset/alfresco drinks and nibbles. This would be an amazing place to watch the Bats, but unfortunately for us, it wasn't the right season. We ordered, 2 Carajillos, Hummus, Patatas Bravas and Pitta. We were also given 2 free glasses of champagne as we got engaged on this trip, this was a lovely touch. We love the ambience of P6 which was quite laid back and chic. We would definitely recommend for drinks and nibbles if you're looking for a nice rooftop bar, we found the sunset spectacular, so try and time it right as to when you book!

Made a reservation to enjoy some wine our last night in Austin. You can't beat the vibe or the views! On Sunday they do sip well Sundays so bottles of wine are $20 off. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was gorgeous and I loved the bathroom ceiling homage to our Texan musicians!

The restaurant was not nearly as upscale as the photos. The view was also partially blocked where we were seated. The pictures looked so pink and beautiful. This place really needed an upgrade. The servers were in regular street clothes which also gave it a cheap feel. The menu was extremely limited. I enjoyed the salmon but it wasn't anything special. The price was pretty high in my opinion too. I honestly think they need an upgrade. There are way too many amazing brunch spots in Austin to not be one of the best!

I have gone to eat and have drinks at this spot two years in a row for my birthday. Is slightly overpriced and portions are too small for my liking. Waiting staff is not very friendly here either so the only thing that really makes this place worth going to is the absolutely AMAZING VIEW of the lake and Congress bridge and south austin as well as the unique and cozy decor of the hotel lobby. Valet is discounted for 3 hours and is validated by P6 after dining. All in all one of my all time favorite spots to watch the sunset.

The view of Town Lake at P6 makes this a wonderful place to meet up with friends, celebrate a special day, or show off Austin to someone new in town. Friends and I have enjoyed a few birthdays here. The space is a long terrace with living room style seating from one end to the other. At sunset you have a clear view of the bats coming out en masse from under Congress Ave bridge. The low ceiling and missing wall overlooking the lake remind you that you are actually on the top floor of the hotel's converted parking garage. Nevertheless, you can't find a better place to enjoy a breezy evening after a hot summer day. They offer small plates and cocktails that enhance the experience but don't necessarily Wow visitors. Their chocolate cake and P6 martini, however, are a perfect way to finish a night. Valet is validated by the hostess. To find P6, enter the lobby of The Line Hotel, and take the elevator to the 6th floor. In the summer book ahead.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
