🤮
Was less than impressed.
Extremely Slow service. The best part of the meal was the appetizers. Took 20 minutes to get a second drink. It was 45 minutes just to get the French onion soup that tasted like someone spilled a container of black pepper and sugar in it. The main course I ordered a fillet rare plus and the signature baked potato. Needless to say my steak came out med to medium well depending on which half and my baked potato was not hot enough to even melt the butter. After a second steak came out over cooked I gave up. The manager tried to offer a free dessert for the bad food and it wasn't until later she offered to take my meal off that I didn't even eat. I was really looking forward to eating there but ended up being so disappointed.
One of the best steaks we have eaten Dined outside was very comfortable very little road noise Wait staff professional and friendly Desert was amazing Sides are for two or more Broccoli Rabe and Brussel sprouts we very well prepared and delicious Brownie and creme brûlée simply amazing
😍

Giselle was our server and she was just amazing! The food was pricey but worth every penny !! They treat you so well and make you feel like royalty! We did not spot any celebrities lol will definitely be back when I'm in Miami!! If you there see Giselle she is the best server !

If your looking for an amazing steak and swanky vibes (not your local family style Chops vibes) , this is a must have place to visit. I went there for my birthday and did break the bank but I loved it!!! I don't recommend their seafood as I have had more authentic seafood in New Orleans and other places. This place is a "meat and potatoes" type of meal.
😒
Prime One Twelve is just okay.
..a place to go if you just want to be seen. It's flashy, loud, and full of some people who clearly think too highly of themselves. My steak was just ok, and you would think that for it being a steakhouse, they'd be amazing. Not so much. The service was great, though. Everyone was really nice, but they're not the ones preparing the food.
🤮
This is one of my favorite spots to visit in Miami.
Unfortunately it's lost it's quality for food. The name & the vibe is all you're paying for. The food is trash now & it's so unfortunate. We paid over $500 to box up the food to bring it home with hopes it'll have a better taste for leftovers. We were highly disappointed. You know how you don't want to send food back or even ask for management in those type of restaurants it's kind of embarrassing to have to do so. In reason why we didn't, we shouldn't of had to come on Prime Steakhouse...Oysters cold, crab cakes dry, crème brûlée hard & cold
😒
Prime One Twelve was so accommodating.
I called in at least 4 times to revise the reservation and they were super helpful. I also felt like the initial section we were seated in was too tight, voiced my concern and was immediately moved to a more spacious section. Oh! And had the pleasure of have my martini chauffeured to and from the tables we were seated at to avoid an accident. Might I add, this was voluntary service offered by multiple waiter/waitresses throughout the restaurant. For food: we decided to try their tomahawk special which was a whopping $250 on this night. It was an a la carte and shareable as it was 50oz. We paired this with the lobster Mac and cheese. The absolute best thing in their menu in my option. The steak was not the best. We asked for medium well and it came charred at the top which disrupts the taste a great deal. I took one bite, unfortunately. It also missed the mark on being flavorful. My partner agreed and we decided to just bag it and take it home to doctor it up. For drinks we had the blackberry sidecar margarita and an old fashioned and they were both good.
🤮
Absolutely terrible customer service.
Beyond pretentious- unless you had a flashy car, AP watch and gave the impression that you had money they paid you no attention. We had a 9 pm reservation, and they made us wait an additional hour plus after our reservation before seating us. Kept trying to get us to sit on the patio when we clearly weren't interested in doing that they kept seating other groups instead of ours. Will never recommend any place that clearly treats their patrons differently based on presumed income. Shame on them.
🙂
I was fortunate enough to have a boyfriend who brought me
I was fortunate enough to have a boyfriend who brought me here for our anniversary dinner. They greeted us with warm wishes for our anniversary when we checked in with the hostess which was a nice touch. Our server did as well but that was the extent of the anniversary hospitality. We started off with our drink order. I had the watermelon martini which was delicious. And the complimentary bread was good. I particularly loved the cheddar bread that they had in the basket. On to the entrées. My boyfriend and I decided to split the lobster salad and the filet mignon as well as the truffle mac & cheese. I was underwhelmed by the lobster salad. There wasn't much lobster and although the portion was generous, I missed the lobster. The filet mignon and the truffle mac & cheese were the highlights. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and so tender. The truffle mac & cheese was so good that I didn't want it to end. We ended with dessert. It was an apple tart of some sort along with ice cream. And I loved that as well. overall I had a wonderful experience at Prime One Twelve. Service was top-notch. Our server was constantly stopping by to make sure we were OK. It was rather loud in the dining room area. So if you're looking for a quiet romantic place perhaps sitting outside may be better.

By far one of the worst experiences I have had at a
By far one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant! I am not one to sit down and write a review , but some time has passed and I still feel strongly about my experience. I made reservations for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary on 2/4/23. Our reservations were set for 8:30 Pm and we showed up 20 min early. The hostess checked us in and said please wait and we will call you once your table is ready. We waited 30 min and I asked how much longer before we would be seated. The hostess replied 25-30 min stating 12 people ahead of us. We understood it was a busy night so we decided to continue waiting another 30 min and after another 30 minutes of waiting , I asked and received the same response of another 30 min with 12 people ahead of me. By this point in the night I witnessed people being seated that arrived after us and people still waiting that arrived before us. During my short conversation with the hostess I also witnessed another waiting customer hand over cash saying "see what you can do" and the hostess quickly pocketed the cash. With my suspicions confirmed we counted our losses and waited another 30 min while we looked for reservations at another restaurant, we found a last minute reservation and I decided to ask the hostess one last time for an update and was told 20-25 min wait with 9 people ahead. At this time we left. We waited over an hour and half past our reservation time with no end in sight. In my opinion , this was a complete failure on the restaurants management team. Either they take less reservations or honor the reservations made and give accurate wait times. Had we been told the wait with a reservation is over 2 hours we could have decided to leave. Instead we got stringed along with bite size wait times that were only said to pacify our request for an update. This lack of consideration not only cost us time but the money we were paying a baby sitter to watch our kids. I hope this was an isolated event and not a reoccurring theme at prime 112. For anyone considering going here for dinner please think twice and save yourself from the dissatisfaction of my experience on 2/4/23.
🙂
As always, parking first .
..def Uber. The location is a serious south beach hotspot which is great but with that comes parking challenges. They do have a good valet service though. Most of the cars are rolls Royce, Bentleys and the likes of Ferrari. We felt pretty dull in our vehicle LOLAnyway, we went for drinks right before the start of South Beach Wine and Food festival. I love the outfits of the bartenders - suspenders and all!! The drinks were great and typical south beach prices...around $22 per drink. We got lychee martinis and they are delish!! The highlight here is the complimentary bacon! It is so delicious and seems super high quality! I think we ate all as they had to bring out another container! We want to go back for dinner...and free bacon!
My husband and I came for dinner and both left saying it was the best meal ever. Very very very expensive but it was a treat. We started with the crab cakes and split the Signature Salad (its huge and a meal on its own!) then I had the filet and my husband had the special a wagu filet and lobster tail. Both of us enjoyed. We shared a garlic mashed potatoes also (best ever!!) WE each had a cocktail and a glass of wine and split the red velvet cheesecake for dessert. Our server was excellent and everything was spectacular. Hope to visit again if we are ever in Miami.
We were looking forward to visiting Prime but unfortunately we were very disappointed. Our booking was for 7.30 and we were told to wait at the bar, the restaurant was packed with no where to sit. People were waiting for tables everywhere. We waited an hour and a half for our table and we spoke to others who had also been waiting for over an hour. We had to ask four times how long it would be and were palmed off with excuses. On the last occassion when i asked when we would be seated, the man was so rude and only responeder to tell me everyone else was also waiting. Why continue to accept bookings when they are clearly over capacity? The food was mediocre and our waiter disappeared so we were unable to order more drinks. I would avoid at all costs, there are much nicer places in Miami to eat
We had not been to Prime 112 since before Covid 19 hit. We loved coming here because the food and service were always up to par. We also visited their other restaurants, Prime Fish and Prime Italian. We decided to come here for our Christmas Eve dinner, which is always very special to us. Because we believed nothing had changed, we didn't check Yelp's rating before coming here. It was 2.5 stars. Big lesson learned by us. We arrived at our reservation time. Valeted the car ($20). The valet staff were really nice, happy guys, and were very welcoming! We were seated right away, close to our usual spot. We noticed there is no 6 feet of social distancing between tables, but it was too cold to sit outdoors. So we went with the flow. We each ordered the Shrimp Cocktail for an appetizer, two 8 Oz Filet Mignons, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Lobster Coleslaw, and Cauliflower Mash accompanied by 2 Merlots. For the dessert, we ordered the Smores concoction. We were very disappointed that our Filets were very dry and tough to cut. I had to really press down with my knife. This situation didn't happen here a few years ago. Also, there was barely any flavor to the Filet. Maybe they were out of seasonings. We were both surprised. The Cauliflower mash was good, but it was a skimpy amount for two people! It doesn't cost much at the grocery store, but we were charged $20+ for the small dish. The rest of the dinner was good but not extra special. We also added Lobster Mac n Cheese to go, which wasn't as good as it used to be! We looked forward to their wonderful Smores dessert! It's not the same as before! Gone was the better quality, sweeter chocolate that was so delicious. Instead, some bitter dark chocolate was in its place. There was no ice cream either! There was a huge amount of peanut butter that didn't taste fresh as well as sparingly added melted marshmallows. It tasted terrible. Talk about disappointment! Before we left Prime, we agreed we would not be coming back here for a very long time! Our bill was $414.90 for the two of us. Merry Christmas! The service was good! Very attentive! Note: The trendy Miami restaurants are currently competing like crazy to be in the Top 10. I am sad to say Prime 112 used to be at the top. It was the hottest restaurant in town. On Christmas Eve , there was standing room only waiting to get inside, even standing outdoors in line. Not this year. There were maybe 8 people sitting inside on the bench and a few men outside chatting. Parking is by valet, street, or there is a lot about 2 blocks away.
My favorite steakhouse on the beach outside of Smith & Wollensky. It has a great ambiance for a date night and the food is delicious!

Horrible customer service

The manager ( i believe) an all red head woman. I went to ask her a question and she told me she was in a private conversation with her friends. To ask one of the hostesses the question. I proceeded to cancel my reservation, and left. I have never experienced such rudeness by someone in customer service. I was hoping to have found a favorite Miami steakhouse, but now I need to find another choice.
🤢
Mass-Produced Mediocrity, Not Worth the Hype (or the price)
Expectations were high, given the reputation and the prices, and I’ll admit to being charmed by our server, and all the people who swooped in to clear away and clean up. But the food? Seriously disappointing. The oysters were good, but the wedge salad was drippy not crisp with soggy lardons followed by a ‘meh’ Meyer Natural NY Strip and cold-ish ‘slow roasted’ Brussels sprouts that reminded me of clams. If it hadn’t been for the truffle creamed corn the main meal would have been a total washout. ps skip the fried Oreos, the ones at the fair are better.
😍
My buddy recommended this place and it did not disappoint.
We got the bone in filet and sweet potato mash potatoes and amazing. Definitely recommend this place for sure.
🙂
One of the top cuts in south Florida.
Typical pricing for Miami Beach but it is an experience worth trying.
🤢
The 2 stars are for the waiter.
He was accommodating. The food however was sub par. Sent my bone in rib-eye back twice because the meat was tough. Everything else was average except for the dessert. Run, don't walk away. Better places to have a much better steak dinner.
🤮
First time here with 9 other people.
I ordered a steak, medium well ($105). The steak was "charred" per the server. I advised him that I didn't care for the "charred" and his response was "how's the inside of the steak, that's what matters". I ordered truffle butter to try to compensate for the overpowered "charred" steak and I just couldn't get past it. I told the server, again, that I hated my steak and that there was blood on my plate from the medium well requested steak. He simple advised me that he would let his manager know. I called afterwards to speak with a manager and I was advised that I could've had my steak not charred. Well that wasn't offered and if it was, I would've asked for that. The manger then offered two drinks and an appetizer. After you pay ($105) for a steak that you didn't get to enjoy, please don't insult me and offer drinks and an appetizer. I just felt like I could've been treated better in such an expensive restaurant. I'm sure the server didn't care because he already was getting gratuity. I have to wonder if I was of the same race of the server and most of the staff, that I would've been treated differently. This is definitely not a place that I would suggest to others.

What a fantastic meal. Went straight to our table. The waiters were excellent - informative, helpful and friendly. The quality of the steak and lobster was out of this world. The sides were delicious. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. My only complaint - I was so full I couldn’t contemplate one of the amazing sounding desserts on the menu!! Thanks Prime 112. We’ll be back on our next visit.
😍
I come here every time I'm in Miami.
They have such a nice vibe, excellent customer service, and the food is exceptional!
Superb, expensive but superb. Just go if you want a first modern American restaurant with outside dining. Lobster bisque - soooooo good. Kobe burger - wonderful with fried onions. Roast chicken was lovely. 1 starter and a main course for 2 is enough for us and probably don’t need starter. Large portions and the service is as it should be. Just go!
Great vibes, food was fantastic, however staff were ok. The bartenders at the main bar were sullen and not so welcoming. The barternder at the quieter bar was really nice and helpful. They didn't have any red wine glasses which for a higher end restaurant is unacceptable. Otherwise everything was good.
😍
They're known for steak so you have to order steak.
I've eaten in many excellent steak houses and so far this restaurant is my favorite.

Stopped over in Miami for a night and I had to come to my favorite Southbeach restaurant, Prime One Twelve. This place is unique to say the least. Unlike the glitz and glamor of star studded SOBE, Prime One Twelve is located at the end of Ocean Drive, away from all the action. The building looks like a 1950's constructed house in Alabama which totally makes you scratch your head because of its popularity. Inside is nicely decorated but tight because quite frankly, Prime One Twelve is small. With that being said, the food is top notch and when it comes to high end restaurants, that's the #1 objective. The service is impeccable, so there you have it.. #1 and #2 is covered! Then you have a bar that serves unlimited bacon while you wait to be seated or dine in place. That alone had me at HELLO.. (Love at first BITE!). The night we came the Miami Heat were getting their eat on.. That was cool and speaks to the hype! If you choose to experience Prime 112 and you should, definitely make reservations or you may have to wait until your next Miami trip.. Lol!!
🤢
The hype is GONE; the class & glamour of this place.
.. out the door. Taste, quality.. DONE. SOBE is not what it used to be PERIOD.

Came in with a group a few nights ago and made a reservation on the phone.Food was mediocre. The sides were $15 each - the corn still had strings of husk and literally tasted like it came from a can and the mac and cheese just wasn't good.New York strip was cooked beautifully. The salad just had too much dressing.Cheesecake was alright. My friends drink was delivered to the wrong table and so I had to ask for it.*they don't split bills unless you want it split equally between each person & 18% gratuityThe waitress was lovely and the experience was worth it because Scott Disick was there haha

Beyond Disappointing! To charge thosekind of prices and put out that low quality food is insulting. Three of us came for Father's Day dinner. 1 dish was very good. The sea bass. Everything else was below average. You guys used to be the best restaurant in town. Now... not even close. I will say, the bartender and our waitress were outstanding. We will not be coming back.
🤢
There are better options in Miami
I am giving 2 stars because the sides were good and the fried Oreo dessert as well. The Porterhouse steak for 2 however was a joke. Who charges $235 for that kind of poor quality beef that was not properly cooked ? First they sent us a steak that we ordered medium and it was cooked medium well with rare in the center. Then we asked them to fix it since we ordered medium and they cooked the same steak a little bit more and it came back medium well and the New York strip side was though as it could be. It was my husband’s first time in Miami and we were celebrating my birthday and that experience ruined the night since nobody wants to feel like they were ripped off and paid top dollar for a steak that we could’ve have done better at home buying it from our local grocery store. I expected the dinning experience in prime 112 to be on the same level as the experiences we’ve always had going to top notch steak houses. We won’t be back on our next visit to Miami. Few years ago I’ve had great experiences at this restaurant and even great porterhouse steaks. They really went down in quality.
This was my second visit to Prime 112. It will also be my last. I should have known better. The first time was several years ago when I went with a friend and her son. We were asked to wait an hour beyond our scheduled and confirmed reservation time. There was no complimentary drink or apologies made. Just a perfunctory: “we’ll text you when the table’s ready”. I returned to Prime earlier this month and this time, we were told it would be a 40 minute wait. We were seated an hour and 15 minutes later. There are too many other restaurants in Miami. Don’t waste your time with this one.
Some of the food was delicious. Some inedible. Packed in so tight that neighbors chairs banging into me. One ladies room for a restaurant of several hundred. For the money it was definitely not worth it.
😍
Sent to us from heaven after the hideous Greek meal the day before
Heaven arrives again! I have not been for about 4 years. - COVID and just not been. I cannot think why. It is soooo good. Starters of foie gras, lobster, bisque and and steak tartar followed by Chilean sea bass, stuffed grouper and (drum roll…..) A5 Wagyu ribeye sent us into raptures of delight. My son had the steak tartar and the A5 - I sampled the A5 - it was mega and far too much for 1 person because it is so rich. The fish dishes were delightful. Only complaint was that we ordered too many sides - server did not warn us but a small price to pay for the rest. The sides are large and the lobster Cole slaw was good, the cauliflower gratin lovely - the avocado fries can be missed. Admittedly expensive. Lovely ambience and food is an experience - a must once every trip, imho. Superb. See you next time - beat meal in South Beach. Park if you can diagonally on surface car park since valet is not cheap!
Service here was excellent ,however the 30oz bone in rib was only average. We ordered medium rare ,steak came medium well Sides were plentiful Great wine list Not sure it’s worth the cost
First time here. Reservation honored. Extremely busy and tables/seating placed back to back literally. You have to squeeze in your chairs even if you aren't overweight. LOL Of the 4 of us, only 2 steaks cooked as ordered. Otherwise, they were good. Side dishes and appetizers (other than oysters or crab cake) large enough to share.
😒
Great meats / average fishes / Pricey
Had the opportunity to have a table outside early evening. After a while, very noisy - though I understand that some people like that. Service was great, very courteous, fast. The food: as far as who ordered meat, it was excellent. For the one who ordered fishes, the plates came not as warm as expected and not as tasty. Deserts were great. A good experience, but very pricey - over US$200 per person with one bottle of wine... The menu is great, with many options! While I would not go back because of the prices, I tend to consider that compared to other top steakhouses (also with prices high) Prime 112 would not be on my list.
🤮
Flavorless Food and Poor Service
We took our son here for his 21st birthday and asked for a nice table. So they seated us at what must have been one of the worst tables in the place ~ right next to the crowded bar, all 3 tvs going. The service was inattentive and our waiter surly. The steaks were flavorless, and our son’s was not cooked as ordered. The other food was basic and bland. We had a much better steak dinner recently at a Longhorn for a fraction of the price of our dinner at Prime 112, which totaled $700 for 4 people.
😍
Do I recommend? Yes, yes, and yes! I'm definitely not alone
Do I recommend? Yes, yes, and yes! I'm definitely not alone when I say this is one of the best restaurants in Miami. The ambience is elegant yet inviting and the food is to die for! I've been here 2 times since my stay in Miami so far. Did I mention that I've been here for only two days?! I had the lobster appetizer, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts (no bacon) and filet mignon. Of course, I had the fried Oreos for dessert. In my previous visit, I had the grouper and it was equally delicious.

AAAAAAAARRRRGH!Great menu and arrived 30 mins early for a party of 7 (which would be a big, big spend group). Had missed breakfast and lunch and was starving. Made me sit in the waiting pen or could have a drink at the bar - they don't seat until others arrive. And I repeat, Aaaaaarrrrgh! I know a lot of restaurants have this policy, but I offered to order appetizers at the table. No go. F***ing ridiculous. Hungry customer with money. I WONT be back and suggest you think hard about going at all.
