Always a staple in Miami .
We used to fly in for the weekend from LA , DC , no matter where we lived , to eat at Prime 112 ! All of theses years later, ( we're locals now 9 years) and still enjoy dining here! Their sea bass is prepared so deliciously it will rival any seabass you've ever tasted anywhere else! We love the fresh seafood selection for starters . My husband grew up in New England and even says how great the Maine lobster cocktail is here! he loves the Kumo oysters and you can't find better and bigger shrimp than the shrimp. They have here at prime 112.! I love that we can order just one because it's literally the size of our face lol. Tonight I had the filet mignon instead of the Seabass and it was so freaking good and tasty that I didn't even even need to use the two sauces that I ordered with it. It's hard to find a good filet mignon anywhere even high end restaurants because I feel like a lot of them are using meat glue to glue pieces of meat together to make it look like a center cut fillet and that definitely was not in question here at Prime 112 tonight. You can't go wrong with any of their sides, but the truffle corn is always a staple for us even though I don't like corn I love trust truffle, and my husband doesn't like truffle, but he loves corn and this dish together is just delicious for both of us! The salads could feed 4-6 people, so just know that when you're ordering. I promise you you can't go wrong with any of the food at 1:12 it's truly the best food. Their service is phenomenal as always. The restaurant is crowded, packed and loud. It's definitely hustle and bustle. there's always an athlete or someone famous there to spot. But, If you're looking for a beautiful aesthetic and slow, nice relaxing calm dinner this is not the place for you! Amazing food all around.
I like the atmosphere of this restaurant.
It feels premium. We were sat promptly for our reservation. Our server was Erica and she was excellent. I ordered a Margarita and it was good, but mainly ice and a bit on the weak side. He liked the Prime Whiskey Sour. He said it was well balanced. The filet mignon we ordered was OK. It was not bad nor good enough to pay $89 for. The Brussel sprouts were not good. They were overflowed in our opinion. I did really enjoy the cheesy scalloped potatoes. The Caesar salad was OK. I had to ask for more dressing. The baked potato did not have enough oomph. It was pretty bland and they forgot the chives. Last, was the fried oreos. These were very good but I could only eat one. The night was pleasant but certain aspects could have been improved.

We had dinner at Prime 112. Great choice! The ambience was nice. Service was excellent. Kevin, our waiter was the best. We all enjoyed our food. Everything was delicious. We shared the sides because they were a la carte. Nice portions. The four of us had marinated seabass, pan roasted chicken, short ribs, and filet mignon steak.😋

Do not use the valet parking. We paid $25 or so for the valet, only to get a parking ticket for $56 from Miami-Dade County. I don't think we will be going back any time soon.
Nice ambience, and the service was very good.
No problem on those two aspects. RE: The food... We had a variety of seafood items. Portions were fairly large; quality was modestly above average. Given the pricing, we were hoping for materially better quality.
This is one of my favorite classic steak houses in Miami.
The seafood and steaks are always impecable and the sides let's not even talk about them. It can get overly packed so be patient but it will not disappoint

Needed anew place to have a nice steak dinner so we tried this one out. Good service nice ambiance we had the short ribs, new york strip, lobster mac-n-cheese, asparagus as well as some great desserts. Overall we were happy and will come back!

It's upscale dining, so the low lighting and high prices match! I had short braised rib I think it was...delicious!! Hubby had fish with crab, can't remember the menu name here either but it was just okay. He ended up not finishing his, which speaks for itself to me. We shared sweet potatoes and they were so good!! Service is great! They have plenty of servers, so there was never a need to wait on anything.

Let’s start by saying our reservation was for 6:30 and we were out of there by 7:10, spent a longer time eating at mcdonalds… our servers really rushed us and the restaurant was empty! Food was good … prices ridiculous we spent 275$ on a 48oz porterhouse, kind of crazy (though if you peruse the menu online it says the price was 140$) we should have said something but was so flustered and rushed we just left ( took a doggie bag of everything ) writing this review so people won’t be idiots like us

22oz bone in rib-eye. Truffle cream corn and Five cheese truffle Mac are also really good. Finish it off with the garlic and herb butter. Oreo cheesecake is also very good.
Great steaks but felt rushed to eat and leave
Excellent food but we felt very rushed, even though it was a Monday night. The restaurant space is beautiful, the menu diverse, and steaks were great but since we spent $250 for 2 people, we would have liked to relax a bit and not feel pressure to eat and leave. Will pass on Prime 112 next time we’re in Miami.

If they go to sit you at Prime 110 just get back in your car and leave. They will tell you it's the same but it's not. Cold food, horrible service and just a hot overflow room they use on the weekends. Which is a separate building. They take you outside walk you around a corner to another building. Also the server took it upon himself to hit the 22% gratuity for my husband then hand it for him to sign. Absolutely do not understand why people love this place.

arrived at 750 due to traffic. wasn't seated until 9. sat until 1030 without dinner being served. manager came out apologized for 'mistake with apps.' we were for ok with that. sat another hour and then manager came out again. this time I preempted him and said if there was problem we would like to cancel our dinner. he fought me on time as I said we have at this restaurant over two hours... he disagreed. he agreed to waive our dinners. we never ate dinner . we left at 1045 pm. a place for pretty people but it is too crowded and they can't handle it.
Terrible experience
Absolutely terrible service. We had a 8pm reservation and wasn’t sat till 9:45pm and that was only after we finally complained that a party who had a 9pm reservation got sat before us. Definitely go somewhere else.
Not worth the 1.5 hour wait
Our reservation was for 8:30pm and although we arrived on time, we had to wait 1.5 hours to be seated. Finally we were seated, not in the main restaurant area but in the restaurant section of the building next door. Wait staff was incredibly slow. By the time we got our main dishes it was nearly 11pm and our steaks and sides were luke warm. For the price, you expect your food to be hot…at the very least. Don’t recommend at all.

Big portions for many dishes, with matching big price. We had the fois gras which was cooked perfect. And it was nicely balanced with the watercress and pineapple chutney. The escargot was ok, nothing special. The lobster bisque was ok too but I found the lobster meat a bit chewy and not as tender as Maine lobster can be. The steak tartare was good, large portion. The Brussel sprouts and pancetta was decent too and had some caramelized onions for a base. The goat cheese arugula and beet salad was large and good for 4-5 people. Service was nice. Outdoor seating was on the dark side for my preference in being able to see the food.

Can make better steaks at home with live fire and prime cuts of beef. Most everything was 25%+ over priced. Unfortunate for a place that claims to have re-invented steakhouses.

Was told we would have to wait 25 mins to be seated inside so we Opted for a table outside. Was seated right away outside. Had the calamari as an appetizer. I had it returned to the kitchen. It tasted like it had been fried in old cooking oil. It was also chewing. I ordered the short rib. It was delicious. It was cooked perfectly. It was tender and just melted in your mouth. The greens were good and soft. The greens didn't over power the grits. The grits were smooth and flavorful. I would have never put grits with greens and short ribs but it paired perfectly. Even the fried onions on top tasted good. I had a watermelon cocktail that was strong. The waiter was very informative on the menu and specials. I'll make sure I sit inside next time. I'm definitely going back.

When arriving we were greeted immediately and seated. We had to walk out and around to the other side to be seated. We followed the hostess. The place seemed pretty spacious. Dim lights. We ordered a couple drinks and the appetizer and entrees with sides to split. Food arrived in a decent time. The waitress we had was good but not as attentive when we looked for her or needed something...it was obvious she had a lot of tables. It was Valentine's Day so we won't hold it against her. But I would recommend.

Prime 112 is truly exceptional!! I've celebrated my last two birthdays here and each time has been absolutely amazing! Everything about this restaurant is top-notch, from the ambiance, to the food, desserts and drinks. This is by far one of my favorite spots to celebrate special occasions. I had the fried snapper which was humongous, and the dessert cakes are big and delish. Not forgetting to mention the tasty cocktails that they have to offer. Their lychee martini is Simply magnificent! Definitely worth trying!
We are here last night for my boyfriend's birthday dinner.
We were a party of 6 we had a reservation at 8pm. They didn't seat us until after 9pm. Dinner was mediocre. My boyfriend loves a good steak house so we've been to quite a few high end places and we typically always order a shareable steak. Here we ordered a 22oz bone in ribeye cooked medium, broccoli and lobster Mac n cheese. The steak was undercooked and kind of chewy. We did bring it home so I could cook it more for steak and eggs the next morning and it was sooo much better. The lobster Mac n cheese was very good, One of the better ones that we've had. When the bill came they had charged us for a 30oz ribeye so I'm assuming that the server decided to order the more expensive steak size rather than ask us which one we wanted. Had I known there were different ounce sizes to choose from i would have been more specific when ordering. The ambiance and food presentation was nice and everyone working there was friendly. However I don't think we will go back and eat there again. To me it is like all other south beach restaurants, over-hyped and overpriced. I would recommend Eddie Vs or Flemmings as an alternative if you want a good steak. We did have a couple salads for the table as well which were both okay. However, I have heard they have good burgers so if you're looking for that maybe go here.

After all these years I finally had a chance to try Prime One Twelve. I took my girlfriend for our anniversary dinner, it was a Thursday night and it was packed. I reserved a table in advance, the hostess were very nice and accommodating. I have to say for an expensive steakhouse, inside it felt very cramped. Anybody walking behind me kept bumping into me, there wasn't a lot of rooms in between tables. I ordered a filet mignon and my girlfriend ordered the wagyu churrasco. We ordered our steaks medium, and they both came back under overcooked. The sides were very bland, nothing was overly tasty. The food did not justify the price we paid, it's definitely a tourist trap.

The lamb was tasteless, there was some Dijon crust on the outside which was ok but did nothing to enhance the meat. The truffle fries were awful, I think the oil needs to be changed. I ate them because I was hungry but that was a poor choice my stomach was messed up the next day. My date had the chicken, I think Dennys could do better. I got the angel's envy old fashioned which was good, but no one asked me if I wanted another even tho my glass was empty half way thru the meal. The server, we had two, never came back to check on us. The margarita was also good, so maybe they should just stick to drinks. I didn't get dessert because the food was already a disappointment. Funny how this place was packed and the food was not even mediocre. I would not go back even if it was free
Outrageously Terrible
A terrible experience! This restaurant doesn’t seem to care about customers while it lives off its reputation. We arrived at 10pm with a reservation for 10:30pm that we had made a month earlier. The hostess told us the earliest we could be seated was 11:30pm. A couple standing next to us said they had been waiting more than an hour for a 9pm reservation. Outrageous!
Thoroughly Disappointing.
If you love reserving months in advance for a special night out only to be told your table will be at least an hour delayed then this “we don’t give a sh*t”establishment is for you. Abysmal.
An evening ruined
Booked a table for 10.30 New Years Eve. Gave up after 3 hours waiting . No call to apologise and ruined the evening. Incomparable to Casa Donna who actually do know how to run a restaurant!

Booked for NYE 2 months prior. Still waiting on the table a day later. Completely overbooked with a horrific booking system - so disorganised, people waiting for tables for over 2 hours. Staff clueless. Especially embarrassing compared to other places in Miami and over the world. Shambles!!!!!
Another great meal
If you book a table at Prime 112, make sure you are hungry. The portions are probably too big but wow everything is amazing. The beetroot salad and Filet steak are a couple of stand out dishes. If you are lucky enough to live locally then the ability to get a ‘to go’ box is invaluable

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
