Ridiculous wait that’s not worth it considering the mediocre food and service. Hostesses are not good at efficiently seating people in an optimal way. Multiple tables were open but they had us wait an extra 30 minutes because we were early for our reservation for 2. The hostess could’ve easily arranged for us to be seated at any table but insisted no tables for 2 were open. Restaurant choices in NYC are endless. Skip this and go to a better one that’s more accommodating.
Good combo of customer service, good and wine. Great venue as well.

Beautiful restaurant!! I have been wanting to come here forever and couldn't get a reservation, I finally got it with my husband and stepson. We were so excited! First, the restaurant is beautiful but we knew that, we love RH! Gorgeous chandeliers over every table! However service was not grate. We were missing a table setting and the server decided to debate with my husband over it. Apps came fast. We had the artichoke fried and burrata on toast, not great! I am shocked that they did not allow for us to pick our burger temp. And I would much rather have liked to have a five guys burger as compared to this one. The meet wasn't great, it was dry/overcooked. The truffle fries were stiff, but my husband loved the arugula salad! I was NOT impressed!
Disappointing fare and service for what is expected to be RH standard: overpriced brasserie at best with a pretty view.
Stroll through the chic multi level store or use the glass elevator to reach the rooftop terraced restaurant: beautifully and simply decorated, not over the top, attempt at some nonchalance, tables well spaced, buzzing ambiance. Average food that arrives quickly at your table, for an expensive final bill, served by waiters who are not attentive and busy. The fries happen to be good. Seating not flexible, as hostesses determine your table based on different variables that depend on your party. Dependable and not upscale. Simply what one would expect from a good overpriced brasserie, that happens to be located in RH. A fun experience for tourists who want to experience the old Meatpacking district of NYC.that’s been gentrified. Cobblestones remain sans blood, thankfully.

Tried walking in today for lunch with my bf.
The host said there was a 25 minute wait and we said okay to put our names down but they told us they don't do a waitlist and we should just sit around. How do they keep track of who comes first for walk-ins? Meanwhile we go to stand and wait and I catch three of the hostesses staring at me from the host stand and whispering and laughing together... everyone who works here looks like they're still in high school and have a weird attitude because tell me why I felt like everyone was making fun of me and my bf for simply being there? Super immature and classless girls. 25 minutes go by and one of the hostesses tells me they have a table for us but they need the table back in 45 minutes so we have to leave by then.... That's something we would've liked to know before we waited that long for a table...just ordering and getting our food would've taken 20-30 minutes how are we expected to eat that fast? We left and went to 'catch nyc' around the corner and the service and food was amazing, the hostess and staff there actually treat you like a paying customer. Never coming back to RH.

A friend and I dined here on a Thursday afternoon - we were in NY to see a show and wanted something simple but good. We drove from Philly and ran into traffic so we had to adjust our reservation and were glad when we learned that there were additional times open close to our original reservation time. When we did arrive we had to drive around for a few mins to find parking and eventually did (calling this out so that you ensure that you give yourself enough time to find parking if you drive); also, we called the restaurant as we were driving around (and unfamiliar with the area) and spoke with a woman who was kind enough to recommend multiple parking options. You enter the restaurant through the store, Restoration Hardware - when we walked in we were greeted by the store associates who we informed that we had a reservation at the restaurant and they pointed us to the elevator. Once in the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and then escorted to our seats. Both my friend and I knew what we wanted because we reviewed the menu in advance since we thought we'd be tight on time. I ordered a lobster roll, Truffle fries and a ginger beer. The food came out very quickly and the presentation was great. This was my first lobster roll and it was tasty although not quite what I expected - the roll was fresh and buttery and was lukewarm; the lobster was fairly tender and a little cold. My expectation was that the roll would be warmed (not hot but have a little warmth to it), the lobster meat was as I expected. The truffle fries had good flavor but were not hot and a tad too crispy for me. The ginger beer was good. My friend ordered a burger and the truffle fries also. She finished her burger and said it was good. Neither of us were able to finish our fries and agreed after that we should've placed 1 order for the fries because the quantity was more than we expected. I also ordered a chai latte, which was made with Almond milk. The chai latte was ok, I prefer mine with Soy milk but that was not an option. The ambiance of the restaurant was bright, clean and a little quiet, there was soft music playing. The service was ok - our server was very attentive and knew the menu well and was able to answer our questions however, I was disappointed by the temperature of the food... The value for the food was good. Overall, I would try this restaurant again but I would do so when I am not tight on time so that I can give them a chance to correct what's not to my liking, if needed.

GET THE LOBSTER ROLL! We were couch shopping downtown, and wound up at Restoration Hardware in the Meatpacking District. We didn't find a couch, but it was past lunchtime, and we hadn't eaten. They had no indoor tables, and it was 80 degrees and sunny, but we said we would try eating outdoors. The tables were all fully shaded, with comfortable couches, and the heat didn't bother us at all. Ok. On to the actual experience. The service was pleasant, easily accessible, and professional. The servers knew the menu, and when we asked about the lobster roll our server broke into a big grin and said, "It's amazing." We both ordered the lobster roll. She was not wrong. We spend the summers out east, in the land of lobster roll, and this was as good or better than anything i had ever had. The bun was perfectly toasted and lightly buttered, and it was overfilled with tasty large chunks of lobster meat, without the normal slathered on mayo. And just a touch of spice on top to give it a kick. We will be going back for more. And, according to my kids, it's a great place for late night drinks in the summer.
This was a great time for a friend and ai to chew and chat.
The staff are all warm and welcoming beginning downstairs. It was a very classy experience. I took off a star because they should enforce a dress code...no tanks or shorts. The crowd was a little too casual for me. The food was cooked to perfection, and the drinks were good.

The service was great! The views were exceptional! The tough thing to judge is the price ... it's expensive, especially because you pay like $20 for a good burger and just the burger (no fries) that's good but not crazy good. However, the views are incredible and that doesn't come cheap. It really comes down to what you're looking for. If you want a good view of the city for your Instagram then I recommend it. If you want a spot with good food and don't really care about your surroundings, then this ain't it. All in all, it was definitely a positive experience but an expensive one.

The atmosphere at the rooftop restaurant is so special, and the food was beautifully prepared. Service by Jorge and Kimi was top notch. Daytime was delightful, but I’m told nighttime is equally beautiful, so I’ll definitely return.

We had a wonderful brunch at this truly beautiful rooftop place. The weather was perfect for an outdoor meal but if it hadn’t been the interior was lovely. Terrific menu-cocktails and food excellent and service so friendly and efficient. Will must definitely return!

Shameful non-welcome
Whilst food is critical at any restaurant, service and sense of respect are the reason you pay what you do, even in Manhattan when every eating place knows little other than a full house. It’s the latter where this place came tumbling down. Met by a sour-faced concierge who informed us our table was not ready, shooing us out of the way to an already crowded waiting area to stand way past our reservation time. When we spoke up, calmly and pleasantly, this indignant soul then told her junior to seat us at by far the worst table imaginable, such that we could not remain there. The humiliation dealt is unnecessary when the point of the deal is the guest. Other staff, but only after voicing our disappointment, tried their best to remedy the situation and offered bits and pieces as olive leafs, which were appreciated. Nil apology from the offender on leaving, who must have been told of her attitude. Even though you have a line up at your doorstep, people matter RH, and remember that kindness and respect are free and start at the front door.
Fantastic Lunch Experience
Checked off all the boxes and more ... we were chatting with staff from Soho House and they recommended this spot. We arrived ahead of the lunch crowd on Saturday with no reservations mid April when the weather was unpredictable. We ended up with an outdoor table that felt like perfection to us, it was nicely isolated from others, the service was wonderful, the food was great. I would go back in a second. If you are dining for two, in the outdoor area, it will be very peaceful. Dining indoors, it is lovely, but more 'bustling'. Either way, it is a lovely area. I will return.

A vibe is a vibe is a vibe is a vibe lol Let's get into this ONE! Hands down one of the best brunches I have been too and yal know I'm a brunch girlie! Sissy and I went here in January for a cute sisters trip to NYC. I have been to other RHs but this one is superior to them all! Our waitress Aaliyah was amazing and super attentive! We had did have to wait about 20 mins to get seated though we had a reservation. I would recommend making a reservation about a month in advance especially if you want a weekend prime time slot. The interior of the restaurant did not disappoint and though there were many people it didn't feel crowded. We really enjoyed our food and our lemonades! This is the perfect place for lunch with friends, drinks with the girlies or just because ! Its location is perfect and has so many great shops near by you can walk to and from. Overall 10/10

A beautiful rooftop restaurant tucked into the heart of the Meatpacking District (and inside of a luxury furniture store) -- the ambiance was so nice and the waiters were really attentive. We stopped in for a dressed-up Palentine's dinner -- really fit the vibe of the whole evening, since you take the most gorgeous glass elevator to the roof where the restaurant is. The sharing plates were SO. GOOD. I'd highly recommend the Truffle Fries and Burrata for the table. The Pan-Seared Salmon was delicious, but portions definitely ran a bit small. The warm cookies and Vanilla Gelato was great, too. The meal was super relaxed and I enjoyed my time here -- would recommend for a fun occasion!

The atmosphere is very pretty, there are beautiful chandeliers hanging everywhere. The food is very good, and so is the service. I just came back a second time, with a group of 4, and everyone was happy. We ordered lobster rolls and truffle fries, salmon, and salads. Everyone enjoyed what they ate. Before you go, I recommend ordering a plate of hot chocolate chip cookies for the table and coffees. They have good coffee. (I was with 2 coffee snobs who are never happy with their lattes, or cappuccinos, and they were both satisfied). After we went floor by floor, through Restoration Hardware. My favorite floor to walk through is the lower level, where they have furniture for kids bedrooms. It is a real fantasy experience.

I visited RH rooftop with two friends and we were immediately impressed by the great vibe. We started off with a few appetizers; the artichoke was surprisingly very good. In addition, we ordered the shrimp cocktail and burrata, both of which did not disappoint. For our main courses, we chose the steak, chicken, and salmon. Each dish was relatively good, meeting our expectations. We also enjoyed two bottles of their more affordable version of Caymus wine, which was delicious. Although we initially wanted to try the burgundy that was unfortunately out of stock, the Caymus proved to be a fantastic substitute.

Our waitress was very sweet and attentive! The one thing I enjoyed was you are able to order your appetizers and entrees separately & they didn't not rush you!! The ambiance is beautiful and I wouldn't expect anything less! 3 stars are purely for the food/menu. For the price, I think the entrees should come with a side and you shouldn't have to order the sides separately for the price you are already paying. I got the burger and truffle fries and they were VERY greasy. I understand it's a burger and fries, but I didn't expect that much grease. I definitely like the atmosphere, but not sure I'd go back for the food!

I know they have a limited menu but it's literally a furniture store so no complaints from me. The interior is beautiful and offers a perfect background for a romantic date night or even just a quick bite to eat. The waiters offer amazing service and are very efficient and knowledgeable. I ordered the salmon (medium), with broccolini. Even though it was overcooked it was still really good. My husband ordered the burger (typical) but he seemed to really enjoy it. We also had a glass of Cabernet that was delicious but I can't remember the name of it. All in all, it was a great dining experience and I can't wait to go back to NY and do it again.

Beautiful restaurant but the service was horrible and there were not enough restrooms for the amount of tables. I missed half my meal because there was a server in the bathroom for over 15min. Did not have a good experience and will not be visiting again.
A Place to Treat all your Senses
This place has beautiful furniture and having a rooftop restaurant is just wonderful. I went solo because I wanted to take in the experience without the distraction of another person. Just me eating in peace.I had the salmon with the mashed potatoes and it was the best mashed potatoes I ever had. Staff was wonderful and this woman brings out the Peach Bellini that she made. It was fantastic. I went shopping and returned for my dessert. Latte with a warm salted chocolate chip cookie. Got the same waiter and he said he was going to personally make my Latte. The presentation and the taste was just so wonderful. So this will be my place to go when I just want to dine in peace with myself and take in the ambiance. Oh almost forgot to mention the fabulous water fountains throughout the tables is soothing. This place tingles all your senses.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
