Stunning ambiance and great service.
Accommodated well for a party of 9 and the food was great, however many things were à la cart with the main entre.

If you come to NYC for a trip.
RUN. Do not walk. RUN. And don't stop until you reach the RH, take the classy glass elevator to the top, and if the weather is nice, sit on their beautiful patio and enjoy the impressive views! While doing that you will be delighted by wonderful and friendly service that brings you some of the best food you will taste on your entire trip regardless of where you go in NYC! This place is and absolute MUST!

Beautiful restaurant, yummy food, great service.
Food is over priced but worth going for the ambience.

Great food & atmosphere
Restaurant is absolutely beautiful with the perfect lighting and view! Drinks were delicious and the food was really good. We had our dinner indoors but they also have outdoor seating for when the weather is warmer. Really welcoming place!
😍
Such a gorgeous rooftop with breathtaking chandeliers.
Great service and everyone comes dress to impress! Ambiance, breakfast, decor and of course champagne is why I'm here. It's my forever brunch spot on a Saturday or Sunday for when I'm in town in NY. Great for people watching too! I highly recommend.

10/10 experience!! The ambiance is perfect and you can spend a lot of time browsing the lower floors of the building while you wait. Our food and drinks were amazing! Best wine I had in NYC.
🤮
Food was basic and overpriced.
Can't take pictures or use flash apparently which doesn't make any sense. Server was rude and did attend much to my table. Won't be coming back

I had a reservation for 7:00 pm at the th and when we arrived 5 minutes early they informed us that our table wasn't ready. we assumed that it would be a 5-7 minute wait, however it turned into 35 minutes. meanwhile, we watched many other parties of 4 be seated ahead of us. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and the waitress was really great. However, for the price, the quality of the food is mediocre. A member of our party asked for salmon cooked rare, and it came out well done. I ordered the burger, which had 2 Patties and was incredibly hard to eat. Overall, the waitress and service were fine but the food is not worth it. There was also no offer to comp anything after we had waited for 35 minutes when we had a reservation.

This restaurant is absolutely stunning! RH Rooftop on the fifth floor of the beautiful interior decorating venue, RH (formerly known as Restoration Hardware), has the style and modern touches of the other floors of the furniture gallery. The restaurant oozes beauty and class, and the food also measures up! The RH burger was absolutely delicious, but the standout was definitely the truffle fries. Those were the best that I'd ever had hands-down. Also, I appreciated how the music was at the perfect volume and played through the entire building. My suggestion is to make a reservation as it is a popular place, but not overly bustling. Also, the terrace would be amazing in the spring, so I would recommend checking that out as well. Lastly, the rooftop boasts and extensive wine list, but doesn't have a cocktail menu.

I went to the guest house, and let me tell you, the food service and Ambiance is out of this world it's an intimate setting perfect for a first date.
🤢
Went there with my fam for a birthday celebration.
Place was beautiful. Service was excellent. Now for the food. Started with meat board and gem salad. Both very good.Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, but it was a salty. Didn't touch the extra salt it comes with Lobster roll was mid. Nothing to write aboutBurger was good, but salty.Caesar salad with grilled chicken was good. But chicken was salty. For dessert we had gelato and cookies. Even the cookies were salty!Loved the restaurant, but everything was too salty. Maybe go there and order food with less salt
😍
All the food is amazing here.
We ordered the Crispy Artichokes, the Burrata, Caesar salad, RH burger, charred Broccolini, and French Fries. Everything was so good! Would definitely recommend it.

Had a casual date with my friend, the vibe is great! We ordered Caesar salad, lobster roll and French fries. We both love the lobster roll, the bread is pan fried which makes it flavorful.
RH ROOFTOP Located in the beyond cool meatpacking/ far west village/ area, RH Rooftop has it all! The ambiance is truly beautiful, bright, airy and upscale (the chandeliers have chandeliers.). The fantastic ambiance is enhanced further by the plant-filled outdoor terrace and bustling and energetic city and river views. The staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating. While the menu is a tad limited, there are a myriad of vegetarian, gluten free, keto friendly, and , “dammit, I want red meat” options. Everything we ordered was really good! The arugula salad with grapes and cheese was abundant, delicious and fresh. The sautéed broccolini with chilis and lemon was also delicious. The crispy artichokes were pretty good. The truffled grilled cheese and tomato was decadently tasty and comforting in a gourmet-ish way. Why stop there? We then had salted chocolate chip cookies, oat milk cortados and fresh peach mimosas. All so very yummy! We fully understand the rave reviews of RH Rooftop, as the ambiance ALONE is worth a visit…. combine that with such good food and service, and , well, RH ROOFTOP, “you’ve got it going on!” We can’t wait to return.
FIrst time at RH Rooftop. Beautiful layout and ambiance. It was a Monday evening and the place was packed. One unusual aspect was no cocktails, only beer and wine. I must say they had a nice selection of wines by the glass and fairly priced. THe menu was limited and casual. I must say the food was delicious, great appetizers to share(we had artichokes and also burrata cheese). for my main course I had a shaved steak on a bun, it was wonderful, my friends had a hamburger and chicken. We all loved our dishes. For a fun upscale casual meal this is the place.

RH rooftop restaurant The Newest and Latest.
RH is Restoration Hardware Restaraunt You enter on the first floor and walk though the showroom to the glass elevator on the back. Take it to the top floor or rooftop and be surprised. Super cool. Relaxing and fun. Excellent cocktails and a limited but very delicious meals. Great service. We love it.
🙂
Great location, great food, blindingly irritating if you sit in the sun indoors!
Wonderful place to have lunch with stylish interior! Good food too, as we had the shrimp cocktail, hamburger and French Fries. Our waiter was very helpful too. Just bring your SPF 500 cause sitting in the sun indoors blazing into your eyes is really no fun at all - would have otherwise been 5 stars. Management should really think about installating some blinds.
😍
An oasis of elegance with great food and service
Chic interiors, lively atmosphere, great food and amazing setting for this unique rooftop in the hip meatpacking district. The terrace has super comfy couches and on a sunny day is the perfect spot to chill with family and friends. Service is friendly yet professional and elegance everywhere is the key. Not to be missed!

If I had to use one word to describe RH Rooftop it would be
If I had to use one word to describe RH Rooftop it would be overhyped. Come here if you are an Instagram model, but for everyone else, there are much better rooftop restaurants and bars in NYC to visit. To get to the rooftop, you have to take a glass elevator from the Restoration Hardware showroom downstairs. The rise is pretty cool and you can get some cool views there. The elevator opens up onto the interior portion of the restaurant. The decor is stunning, with lavish chandeliers and cushy sofas. Through a door, you will find an outdoor terrace with views overlooking downtown Manhattan and the Freedom Tower. There's an ivy covered wall, a waterfall wall, comfy cabana-like seating--everything you could want for a photoshoot! But as a restaurant, RH does not live up to expectations. The hostess had a really unfriendly vibe that did not match the ambiance of the place. Even though our table was ready and there were plenty of open seats outside, she made me wait to go out there till my friend arrived to get seated though it said in the notes I need to sit outdoors because of COVID risk. When I called my friend she was a couple of blocks away so it was not worth arguing about it or trekking all the way back downstairs, but just not great customer service and not what I've experienced at other places. The young woman who escorted us to the table was much nicer and was very thoughtful in pushing our table so we could have some shade but as it turned out the location her colleague had assigned us was one of the two tables on the patio without an umbrella so the attempt was somewhat futile as any semblance of shade disappeared as the sun shifted throughout our meal, becoming so unbearably hot that my friend had to finish her food standing up so she could avoid the direct sunlight and take advantage of the sliver of shade left near our table. At no point did anyone offer to move us or at least bring an umbrella over. I don't understand why, especially at the price point of this restaurant, they wouldn't ensure that ever table has cover. I chose to transfer from my wheelchair because the table was a bit low for comfort as it was designed around the comfort of those seated in the restaurant's arm chairs (which were indeed pretty comfy) but not necessarily with wheelchair users in mind. I can do that, but not everyone can. The food was just okay, very overpriced for what you get. The entrées don't come with any sides so if you want a burger and fries that will be $22 plus $10-12 depending on whether you get regular or black truffle fries. The burger itself was just okay, I didn't really like the relish sauce, and wouldn't order it again. The truffle fries were actually excellent, but the $20 price tag was definitely an eye brow raiser even in today's environment. The lobster roll was pretty good but for $34 but was way more bun than lobster. I've had $20 rolls that were more generous. I was surprised to see just one egg dish on the brunch menu even though they open at 10am.Overall, I would skip this one. Wheelchair access details: flat entry from the street, pull door is easy to open, elevator up to restaurant, flat entry to outdoor terrace. Bathroom is well-equipped with grab bars and enough space to transfer, but as it's in an interior design store and influencer Central, I couldn't help but notice that you can't see yourself in the mirror from a wheelchair.

I came for the second time here, and you know what - it's beautiful, but it's overpriced. You're really here for how gorgeous it is, but the food was just okay. The lobster roll, definitely on the pricy side, was probably the worst lobster roll I've had all summer. Don't get me wrong, lobster rolls are pretty much all starting at a baseline of good, but the bread to lobster ratio was horrendous and the lobster comes piled on top of a roll that's not fully cut so it just kind of falls everywhere and just - overpriced compared to a zillion other lobster rolls in the city that are much better. The cheese and meat plate was like $40+, but at least it was pretty good. Truffle fries were good too. Really this place has pretty ambiance and is good for making you feel like a fancy bitch.
😍
Beautiful View and Location
Great ambiance, excellent location and good food. Service was not slow despite the crowded restaurant and the menu had very interesting choices. I did feel a little pressure not to linger, but we had plans after so that was fine. Highly recommend.

Wow. Prices yes, but if the weather is nice, one of the BEST rooftop places around (beer & wine only) ...the guest and staff were very attractive too. Suggest an early reservation...since it fills up fast...and you can go fantasy furniture shopping on the many floors of room settings too.

Omg the cookies r actually good.
Chewy, crispy, and gooey, without being too buttery. So good and if you like chocolate chip cookies get it!!!

This is going to be my favorite place in the Meatpacking
This is going to be my favorite place in the Meatpacking District. Great crowd. We were lucky to be sat without reservation. The food was delicious. We shared the arugula salad, and they were smart enough to split it into two separate plates for us. We shared the burrata with toasted sourdough bread and roasted peppers. Omg delicious. As if that couldn't be beat, it was the truffle French fries that stole the show! I kept thinking about that entire meal for a few days and can't wait to return! Will get the same exact meal!!

Gorgeous rooftop space on the fifth floor of the store with lots of shade and a wonderful view. I recommend making a reservation if you can and it does fill up around primetime. For outdoor dining, reservations can only be made up to 3 days in advance. I went around 11AM on a Tuesday, and it was not too busy at all. We could have dined without a reservation. Plates are a la carte, so you have to order sides if you want. I got the lobster roll, which was good and decently sized, although I still like Luke's Lobster better. I am a sucker for those midget sandwiches...the wild mushrooms side dish was spectacular. I would even venture to say that it outshined the sandwich. My friend ordered the shaved rib eye. A very hefty sandwich that you could not possibly finish if you order a side dish. It is not cheap, but the portions are good, in my opinion.
😍
Great place for a meal + conversation.
Ambiance and quality of food make this place the perfect combination. Staff is just the right amount of attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Last week they told me to download OpenTable and gave me detailed instructions on how to set alert for the outdoor area opening up. Today I called because something was sketch in the app and it turns out they opened up the outdoors and they told me the instructions (they gave me last week) were not for the outdoors even. Thanks for wasting my time!! Lovely way to treat people.... I'll never eat there or recommend to anyone.

Outstanding! The food, the service, the ambiance! Everything about this place is amazing! So classy and delicious. Can't wait to come back!
Celebrated my 30th birthday with my boyfriend and everything was amazing. From the ambiance to the service and food, perfection!

Decent food, great atmosphere
The food was good and depending what you ate the flavor profile was great. The RH burger was decent, but not much different to anything else. The truffle grilled cheese exploded with flavor. The steak sandwich was very nice. The charcuterie board was lovely and obviously needs pairing with quality wine. Definitely a cool place to hang. Go for lunch or brunch and then browse the four floors of furniture below the restaurant.
The venue itself is beautiful but the service was appalling. As a solo diner I was seated at the worst table in the restaurant despite many other tables being empty. I ordered the shrimp cocktail which was 6 shrimp and a small pot of cocktail sauce. When I asked if I could order a salad after the shrimp cocktail I was told that I should have ordered all my food at the same time (how was I supposed to know the dish I had ordered was not substantial enough to fill me up??). I therefore paid my bill and left. The staff were just out and out rude. Ruined my morning as I was so looking forward to it.
The first thing to say about this place is the food is superb. However, it’s (based on this visit) the service that badly let it down. The most offending bit was when out entrees were rushed out as we were still eating our starters and, despite us saying we weren’t ready, the food was almost forced onto the table. Totally unacceptable. The service, meanwhile, began as highly attentive and then quickly deteriorated into one of “couldn’t care less”. Overall, a hugely disappointing evening. You need to do better guys, you’re supposed to be a high-end restaurant.
Very nice view from the outside rooftop The inside of the building is very nice very trendy The food and cocktails are good We got the lobster roll it’s not as good as the one on the east coast I guess you need to pimp it a bit The truffle fries are great

Great location. Beautiful inside with friendly staff. The food was also surprisingly good. Great combo or looks and substance. Great place for lunch.

Great lunch in Amazing Setting
We had lunch outside and even though it was a scorching day, the shades and breeze made it pleasant. The decor is fun (it is like walking into a catalog) and our food was very good. The views were the best part being up above the city was really nice. We were happy we had reservations, even for lunch, as there looked to be quite a wait.

Unique Configuration with Excellent Food Nice Rooftop Space
So RH stands for Restoration Hardware which is a furniture distributor in the Meat Packing District. Just that fact alone suggests uniqueness and it is strange at first to see all really nice furniture in display spaces as you ascend in the elevator to the top floor. The building is not that tall so don't expect the usual majestic views you get from some of the other tall buildings with rooftop restaurants. However, they make up for it with the impeccable service and refined menu. The outdoor portion of the rooftop is nicely laid out though the furniture is a bit uncomfortable and low to the ground. The indoor area is beautifully adorned with glass and plants and is far more comfy in terms of seating. The menu is not huge but well selected. The four of us split the RH Burger (superb! at $22.00) and the SHAVED RIBEYE ON CHARRED GARLIC BREAD which was soooo satisfying (at $30.00). I might mention these were the cheapest items on the menu. When we got there (did not have reservations) and the restaurant was so booked they had people blocking the entrance to the elevator for lack of waiting space. The Maitre'd got us a table for 4 but we had to wait an hour. That hour was spent outside discovering new places at street level and the wait was well worth it. When we sat down we were immediately served drinks and our orders taken. We never hurt from a lack of service - great job everyone. Great place to experience a new experience.

Beautiful decor, complete with foliage and several small waterfalls. Wine selection was excellent and was generously poured, albeit pricey. -2 stars for poor service. One waiter in particular was inattentive and when he did come around was horribly rude.

I had been dreaming of coming to RH rooftop in NY and it
I had been dreaming of coming to RH rooftop in NY and it did not disappoint! Our server Charlene was accommodating, super friendly and made great recommendations. She was patient when we ask her to take pictures of us and snapped the perfect shot! I convinced my boyfriend to not get a burger today and he tried the avocado toast as recommended. I was reluctant about it but it was the most delicious avocado toast we ever had and was surprisingly quite filling! The RH Bellinis were refreshing. I wish the lobster roll came with fries but it was served a la cart style. A beautiful spot for brunch! Definitely make a reservation ahead!
🙂
What a beautiful experience we had at RH Rooftop.
The views were amazing along with the entire atmosphere. We came hungry so ordered a ton of options. We ordered avocado toast, burrata, truffled fries, arugula salad, lobster rolls, fried artichokes, and cookies. Everything was delicious!

I came here for brunch with my friend.
We ordered truffle fries , prosciutto board that came with fresh fruit , baguette and fruit jam, and smoked salmon board which also came with baguette , cucumbers , pickled red onions , and cheese spread . The food here is average . Among the dishes we ordered , there was not a dish that stood out. Then again , what we had ordered , they didn't really require any cooking . I must admit one of the main reasons I came here was for the decor and ambiance. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with chandeliers throughout the restaurant . It's a nice place to come take pictures. I might come back to try their other dishes that require more effort in preparing/cooking.This place is pretty expensive for brunch .The bill came out to $100 something without tip.
