We went for dinner, and got the chef's tasting menu (4 courses) + wine pairings. Each course had multiple items, so we ended up taking food home because we couldn't even finish everything. It worked out well though, it gave us a really good sampling of a lot of menu items. The first course included some kind of fried kale, which I expected to be heavy but wasn't. It was light and airy, and topped with stuff that gave it really good acid and balanced out the fried coating, and was wonderful. The naan was fantastic - different than what I am used to, as it was much crisper than what I have had in the past. But it was seasoned really nicely and I really enjoyed it. I think my favorite was the tandoori chicken - the chicken was moist, the sauce had caramelized in places, and it came with roasted broccoli which was charred and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Definitely the highlight of the meal, although I thought all the dishes were really good.My one complaint about the food was dessert - we got some kind of rice pudding, and something that was basically a bowl of condensed milk. Perhaps these are traditional Indian desserts (?), but the rest of the food was elevated and refined, and I thought they could have done more with the dessert. The wine pairings were also nicely done (white, then rose, then red, then sparkling). Each wine paired nicely with the course it was served with, although I feel they could upgrade their wine list a bit, and I personally would have preferred a second red vs a rose.Bottom line - for $50/each, plus $26/each for the wine pairings, an excellent deal for excellent food.
