Im so happy I stumbled into Anejo after the first 3 places I initially tried to have a bite had 0 tables & long waits. Thankfully not only did Anejo have tables but there was no wait! The restaurant itself is small to medium sized but typical for NYC. There is a full bar that you can sit at & a few different sized table choices. I want to say its tapas style but I could be wrong but the portion size of most of the items gives that vibe. I tried the fish tacos which were pretty good. The fish was perfectly golden fried. Sadly there were out of the shrimp ceviche so I tried the Tuna Ceviche & it was decent. For drinks I went with the Mezcal Margarita (i think) & it was SPICY but I love the smokiness of mezcal. I also tried the dessert Espresso Martini & I have to say it was the best one I have had! Perfect blend of espresso, vodka & cream. I would have had another if the bill wasn't over $230. I would for sure go back!
The chips and salsa and guacamole were awesome.
So flavorful. Guac is chunky and fresh. Chips are thick but definitely home made.
To recommend without hesitation
Very nice atmosphere and typical Mexican food. The Margaritas are excellent! We had the beef and fish tacos and both were very good, especially the beef one. Then pork enchiladas to roll around on the floor and tuna ceviche, also very good.

Superb Mexican Food
We went here based on Hells Kitchen restaurant reviews and loved it! The spicy mezcal margaritas were excellent and powerful. The nachos, seafood tostadas and especially the mushroom quesadilla were delicious. The latter was full of fresh mushrooms. We’ll be back!

My colleagues had tacos, of which they raved - one from SoCal near Baja said it was decent which is a high praise. Good Mexican restaurant in New York City.. very good modern food and a huge selection of spirits - especially tequila. Definitely recommended. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Both of my small plate items were disgustingly inedible, the mushroom quesadilla being one of the WORST things I've ever tasted in my entire life. Queso fundido arrived with the tortillas too hot to touch, and by the time I was able to handle it the cheese was cold and inedible (flavor also not great). Brussels sprouts were fine, guac was flavorless. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

Had the mushroom quesadillas and they were able to modify some dishes to accommodate the kids which we appreciated! Totally would recommend this spot!

A wonderful place to grab some bites and a drink with friends, a date or even solo. I stopped in for dinner while waiting to meet a friend later in the evening. I chose the chicken empanadas, corn dumplings and chips and guacamole. I elected for the Anejo margarita to round out my meal. The empanadas were my favorite. They were doughy, flavorful and satisfying. There was a nice smattering of sea salt on the outside which was a nice surprise and added to the overall taste. The corn dumplings were also very good, there were 4, some with meat and all very good. The sauce underneath was a nice accompaniment to them. The guacamole was great to smother on the empanadas and dumplings for extra flavor. Service was attentive and nice, not intrusive. Cute place and definitely recommend.

The pork belly tostada app was good, but not sure if it was large or tasty enough to be worth the price! Churros were also solid but it's hard to mess that up. Everything okay here, nothing bad, but there's definitely better places in the city.

Small quaint Mexican restaurant with awesome food and hitting drinks. Had rhe pleasure of having dinner before seeing a show nearby. Started out with drinks a charro old fashioned that had me feeling nice of rhe 1st sip. Definitely strong flavored and well made. On the menu it has beer battered fish tacos but I prefer grilled fish and I asked server if the kitchen would be able to grill the fish instead of frying it and she said yes and the grilled fish tacos were superb !!! Decided to add to dinner some Brussels sprouts and they were so good. To top off an all ready FANTABULOUS meal tried the Tres Leches cake and it had the perfect hint of coconut and sweetness. Definitely would recommend Anejo for the ambiance, great food and drinks. Trust me your gonna love it !!!
Lovely lunch in Hells Kitchen
Nice neighborhood place for lunch dinner or cocktails. We had lovely quick lunch with Chicken Tacos and Cauliflower tart with rice and beans. Spicy Margaritas. Food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I thought Margaritas were a bit on the pricy side $15 for premixed Margaritas is a little bit pricy in my opinion but then again you are in NYC. Overall nice experience.
Fun brunch
We had a great brunch here while visiting the city. Great vibe with a DJ, very nice staff, and on point with bringing the all you can drink cocktails. The owner was there and very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this place!

Very delicious mushroom fundido! And great selection of tequilas and mezcal. Very dark at our table which made it difficult to read menu but was great for atmosphere.

The tanteo flight was wonderful! I visited with my fiancé and another couple and we all really enjoyed our food! I enjoyed it so much that I went back during my next visit and took another friend. I will be back when I visit NY again!

Excellent Mexican near Hell's Kitchen, a ten minute walk from Times Square. Very nice and welcoming place, professional and kind waiters, really good food and in medium-large portions (suitable for sharing). The ceviche was excellent, very delicate. Well made margaritas and cocktails. Medium-high bill, around $60 per person including free. Advised!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
