Call Me Gaby Miami Beach Reviews from The Last Year
Fabulous find! Ate here twice as the menu was wonderful.
Dinner then lunch. I'd eat there again because the first dinner was wonderful, lunch was fabulous and still menu items I want to try. Don't miss Call Me Gabby.
One of the best Italian dinners we've had - coupled with perfect atmosphere and staff!
First time here - we actually ate in the new location in Aventura and IT IS AWESOME! Perfectly prepared pasta - one in a simple light sauce and the other clams (our daughter almost licked the plate clean!), and all followed with wonderful Tiramisu. The entire experience was even better when we interacted with the super warm and friendly Hostess, Manager (Anstasia?), waiter Roberto along with his associates! Well-done Gaby - we'll be back regularly with friends and family.

One of the best prepared Italian meals ever! Perfectly prepared/presented pastas, super-friendly and professional support staff from the moment you arrive (Hostess), to the fantastic food servers (Roberto & associates), to Annisa the manager...we'll definitely be back with friends and family. Thanks folks at Call Me Gaby...
Perfect date night spot.
The vibe here is romantic and unique, think historic Tuscan/Italian village but in South Beach... a gem. Get the focaccia bread, it's absolutely incredible and paired with the meatballs we're talking dream team. Oh and the gnocchi was fabulous, very rich.

The pasta entree with pear and other amazing flavors was to die for! Highly recommend getting it if you go here! Vibes are pretty cool as well with the stringed lights - feels like you're in Italy!! Great spot and great service!
Nestled in South of Fifth's dining gems, Call Me Gabby adds
Nestled in South of Fifth's dining gems, Call Me Gabby adds a chic and romantic touch to Miami Beach's restaurant scene. The gorgeous outdoor dining patio is perfect for a romantic evening or a stylish gathering, offering an inviting ambiance. The first-floor lounge sets a laid-back tone, while the swanky upstairs bar and tables cater to parties of two or more, creating an intimate yet lively atmosphere. I judge a restaurant by the quality of their dirty martinis and I'm pleased to say that Call Me Gabby does not disappoint. The martinis are expertly crafted, though I did miss the blue cheese olives, which would have taken the drink to the next level--if you know, you know. The charcuterie board is a must-try, loved the presentation of hanging meats complemented by the orange jam, candied walnut halves, and olives. The warm toasted focaccia bread is another highlight, and for all you prosciutto lovers, do not miss the Angelina pizza--it's a delicious! While the food and ambiance are top-notch, the service is a bit slower than average. However, the overall experience is makes for the perfect intimate night out. Good quality food combined with an excellent vibe, makes it a must-visit spot in South of Fifth.

Dinner Review: Don't be alarmed, this place is on the pricier side. However, this is what you can expect: Great theme/ambiance, Super Friendly Staff, delicious food. I ordered the following: Watermelon Salad (Super Refreshing) Little Gem Bolognese (Must have) Fettuccine Veal Ravioli- Ravioli of the day Andrea (Must have) Molten Chocolate (hits the inner sweet tooth in me) Overall, would dine here next time I'm in town.
Do not recommend this place for solo diners.
They don't like seating people without a group or a reservation. I had to share table with 3 unknown parties. Everyone was uncomfortable. Couldn't even get out of the sofa seat. Food was mid. Paid $32 for the pizza in the picture. Charged $7 for small Coca Cola. That's a rip off. I will never go again.
This will always be one of my favorite restaurants in Miami.
The white wine sangria is so good, but only the daytime bartender makes it correctly so our first drink was great and the second one had way too much pineapple juice in it. The pasta and watermelon salad are the two must orders on the menu. I've tried recreating the salad before, and the best part is the crushed pistachios.

We were a group of four and sat out on the patio, which was beautiful. The watermelon salad was delicious. They have tons of great pizzas to choose from and everyone around us was eating pizzas! I had the salmon and it was perfect. We also tried the veal and mushroom risotto and both were delicious. Very fun and relaxed and the service was great. This place has a good vibe.
Rip off!!!!!
2 salads served frozen $100. They add 20% tip for a party of 2 at lunch. They have no idea on how to make a real Nicoise salad. Lentil soup served at lukewarm temperature. Crooks.
Great food and service
Very good casual dining in the south of fifth residential district on South Beach. Food and service were both excellent, mussels, lobster risotto, aubergine parmigana and a very tasty Antinori Vermentino at $82 - total $203 plus 29% service/tax $265. Ocean drive eateries are OK but mainly tourist led, Gaby is a nice restaurant.
I have been excited to go to Call Me Gaby for a long time
I have been excited to go to Call Me Gaby for a long time now and it didn't disappoint. The food, ambiance, and service were all excellent (my son even raved about the bathrooms). We enjoyed everything from the salads to pizzas to pastas (especially the ravioli special) to dessert.
Call Me Gaby was fantastic! Food, service and atmosphere
Call Me Gaby was fantastic! Food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. I would highly recommend if you are in Miami beach.
Nice food on a great location
Great location. The restaurant has a nice mediterranean fill. All the dishes were well prepared. Service was attentive and professional.
I hate that I loved this place because I'm so anti-sceney
I hate that I loved this place because I'm so anti-sceney joints and this was exactly that but the food was soooo excellent. We had an 8:45 res and they were nice about seating us without the entire party present. We did request outdoor seating which they couldn't accommodate but it wasn't a big deal. The vibe is lively and upscale. Music is a tad too loud for my preference. Drink menu is fun and cocktails are reasonably priced at around $19-$20. I ordered a gin martini and it was well made. Everyone in my group enjoyed their drinks. We ordered the focaccia, the eggplant app, two pizzas, and a pasta to split. Everything was delicious but the pasta (FIOCCHETTI ALLE PERE E TARTUFO) was the star. Apps are around the $20 mark and mains are around $25-40. Service was decent - nothing to write home about but relatively attentive. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Again, probably a bit more expensive than it should be but the quality holds up.

SO yummy, we got the cacio e pepe and the fiocchetti alle pere e tartuf. Both were amazing and I'd recommend getting two dishes and splitting with friends because the menu is amazing! The service was not amazing though, the waiters weren't very nice. Would definitely go again to try more it was all so delicious!
Decided to give this place another shot and gosh i dont
Decided to give this place another shot and gosh i dont know why. Yet again, the staff were rushing us out and the food is "ok". There are much better spots in Miami than Call Me Gaby; not to mention, they have zero gluten free pastas.... It's 2024- get with the program.. you're in Miami, not BFE. Overall, I'd rate this place a 2/5. The only reason I rate it a 2, is because the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming... otherwise, this place is a crapshoot. Don't waste your time here!
Delicious with a nice ambience and easy valet.
The fiocchetti with pear and sage butter pasta dish was other-worldly. Nice wine list. The service was very attentive.

Came here with my Italian friend who has lived in Miami for 9 years. It's one of her favorite spots. It did not disappoint. Just go..
Call Gaby make a reservation and enjoy one of the best meals in South Beach
Beautiful atmosphere with delicious, high-quality food and varied flavors of each dish, served with great attention.
Another SOBE Scene where value is lean
This restaurant offers tasty overcooked pizza and scant portions of Tuscan dishes at exorbitant prices. They don’t disappoint with drink prices either. Dinner for 4 comprising 2 appetizers and 2 small pizzas with 6 drinks totaled $400. Pluses include good service and decor. Very loud atmosphere makes conversation impossible and causes everyone to shout. If this is your scene then have at it. First and last for me.
Beautiful setting
The food was delicious the setting was beautiful but the best part was the server Carlos was super. The presentation of the food was great but the size was a little small.
Such an amazing restaurant, I've been here a couple times
Such an amazing restaurant, I've been here a couple times with coworkers and friends. The ambience is great weather at night or during the day! We've been here in the afternoon for lunch and the food never disappoints! We order the mussels and a couple of the flatbreads with salads and wine. Honestly I would suggest coming in the afternoon for a lunch break, super cute and cozy spot!
Worth a visit.
Had a very good meal here, and the service was excellent. Wine was a bit pricy for the value, but that's South Beach! We would come back here for dinner.
What an amazing restaurant in south beach! Started off with
What an amazing restaurant in south beach! Started off with the watermelon salad and a flatbread. The watermelon salad was out of this world! For the main dish I tried a unique pear pasta, never had this combo before but I must say that the flavors complimented each other perfectly. All the cocktails we tried were also very well balanced. Will definitely be coming back when in the area!
Amazing food!
Amazing food! Everything was good. So pick different dishes and share with the rest of the table! Will be coming back soon for more
It attracts a much older crowd than the average trendy
It attracts a much older crowd than the average trendy spots on South Beach. More like a locals vibe. But the place is pretty and it is " trending. " . If that is what is important to you.... You will be fine. It's super crowded and sitting inside is vey warm: you will be sweating while eating dinner. The food takes forever. We went with friends and our entrées came 50 mins apart, so they were done when our food arrived. The seafood pasta has a very strong fish tank smell. Couldn't eat it. The other entrée ordered was a Fiochettis (a type of ravioli) with Truffles and caramelized Pears, what we got was chewy spaghetti pasta with a salty parmigiano sauce . The waiter confirmed the order I placed was not for that. They brought me the wrong entree. They took it off the check. At that point it was too late to wait for the order to be re done. I am not that difficult but the pasta they brought by mistake was so salty so I left without eating dinner . If you are eating here stick to the pizza. It looked pretty good on the other tables.
The worse NYE experience
I’m really upset about writing this, because I love this restaurant. I choose you to have my NYE because I knew I was going for a great experience, sadly I had the worst service. We went to the bar and ordered a bottle of wine we wanted to have full dinner , but the bartender ( PARIS) offered only two pizzas which we said okay, but when we saw a person next to us having a full meal we asked he said he paid $275 which it was rude because I didn’t asked for the price. We ordered another one , we were hungry. But we saw another person ordering food so at that point I felt mistreated, the manager came over ,I didn’t get his name , but it doesn’t matter because he didn’t do anything. Also the pizza we returned ( PARIS) bartender offered to a single girl which I think it was a friend of his . I’m very disappointed with the poor management and poor service. I will make sure to tell people not to come anymore. I was always sending people to you guys , NOT ANYMORE. You guys keep that rude bartender PARIS RUDE
Nice place
Excellent service with friendly waitress you must try their FOI Gras Pizza it’s delicious we also had Ravioli which was very good too Conclusion Good friendly staff and Good food
