Figo Stratford London Reviews from The Last Year
Fantastic service by Mely
Fantastic service and nice atmosphere, fast service, very good food, setting was very good so I can, highly recommend!
Terrible customer service
Just for reference was really looking forward to dinner at Figo and I am frustrated that we felt to leave before receiving any service. I never write poor reviews and I hope this is my first and last. I visited on 14th March 2024 with my partner under a reservation. This was on a match day and the entirety of Stratford was full of football fans looking for somewhere to eat after the game. Quite clearly when we arrived at Figo on time it became apparent that they were overrun with more customers than they could handle, and that they were allowing large groups of football fans without any reservations. We were told to wait in the “lobby” area before our table was ready - keep in mind this lobby area is a cramped space just at the entrance door between the outside seating and indoor seating by the other customers sat at their tables dining, which meant ourselves and others were blocking staff coming past every second, which was just awkward. Fifteen minutes later we were directed to our table as we thought, despite having just watched a separate couple get seated before us after arriving after we had. Rather than seating us at a table we reserved, we were propped in one of the middle large tables shared with customers who did not come with a reservation. I quickly got the attention of what I believe was a manager and politely asked to be seated at a table just for the two of us, making clear that we were not like many of the football fans that were just showing up without a booking. The manager has shrugged this off stating why didn’t we just start with a drink first - keeping in mind they sat us down without a drinks menu!! After another five minutes of being ignored again we have gotten up to leave, and only then did staff take notice and asked if we needed anything. Like I said at the beginning, I was very much looking forward to this dinner. I absolutely love Italian food, but this is no way to run a business. You do not prioritise late comers with no bookings and subsequently provide a terrible customer experience for those who had the decency to make a reservation ahead of time. I will not be returning to Figo to give this another opportunity. Thankfully there are many choices of Italian cuisine to choose from in London. From reading other reviews I see others have had similar experiences.
10/10
Amazing spot to chill and have a delicious meal, servers were great especially one called Simone who was very helpful and kind and recommended many tasteful dishes, drinks and desserts to me. Overall 10/10 experience.
Good visit but beware
Booked for an evening table for 6 after Abba Voyage. Staff appeared confused and it was evident there wasn’t actually a table reserved for us, however we ended up being seated on the high tables by the kitchen, no big deal just annoying. Staff very friendly and attentive. Some of my party noticed the first round of drinks were strong and queried if these were doubles, bearing in mind we hadn’t been asked singles or doubles. Waitress informed her that they were doubles and this was standard practice unless singles are specifically asked for. This we found unacceptable not only for financial reasons but more importantly drinking more alcohol than you otherwise would have had and insisted all further drinks ordered should be singles. Most of the food served was very other than a dry carbonara and dry penne, more sauce please in future. The 12.5% service charge was a bit steep as it added an extra £43 to the bill but I understand it’s optional and reflected our satisfaction with the waitress service. If the drinks policy is as stated then I believe Figo should reconsider this as it gives the impression of taking advantage of its customers many of whom are passing through and unlikely to be back ie Abba Voyage, football supporters or Westfield visitors. On the whole a good experience and would visit again but with a little more knowledge and not be too hesitant in highlighting an unsatisfactory dish to staff.
Good experience
Food was delicious calamari, sea food spaghetti, tiramisu and Mely our waitress was very friendly knowledgeable and helpful
Great service on a busy day!
Great food and service helped by the fact that our waitress Mely was knowledgable and friendly. It was a busy day (football match and Mother’s Day) but there were many staff to deal with the numbers and it was a very relaxed and pleasant experience !
BRILLIANT
Managed to accommodate 8 of us at very short notice and 2 gluten-free Food was brilliant, garlic bread starter was pizza style but incredible, never tasted garlic bread so good! Penne arabiata was excellent - just enough spice and sauce - perfect! Rest of group have various pastas and pizzas and all finished leaving empty plates. Also a huge thank you for doing a wee happy birthday for my sister’s 60th birthday, much appreciated. The staff here are very attentive without being intrusive and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and when back i would go back. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.
A 5 star gem totally worth the journey!
This was a very pleasant experience for our family today. Simone especially made our Saturday. We will most certainly be frequenting this fabulous establishment. A 5 star gem totally worth the journey!
Great choice for family dinner
Thank you for the great service Simone. Food was great and atmosphere was fantastic. Nice wine too. A DJ to lift up the spirits. We're definitively coming back!

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
