Gymkhana London Reviews from The Last Year
The service was great.
However I wouldn't consider this as a Michelin star place. The food was a 3.5/5. The drinks were decent.
Poor experience
We were so looking to a Michelin 2 star experience We experienced the opposite We were seated in the basement in the traffic lane We ordered and the meal started to come There was no Michelin presentation The main course arrived cold and was redone after we asked the wine server who served heavy to sell more wine to tell someone about our cold food as no one asked us how our dinner was Finally when I asked for the check the white coated arrived and asked how was your dinner We told him and he gave us a credit but that didn’t help the poor service food presentation we experienced My wife is still suffering from this avg Indian meal
The best restaurant experience with out of this world food
Ignore all of the negative or mixed reviews, Gymkhana is 100% worth visiting! The food is unlike that of other Indian restaurants. The quality is superb, especially the Chicken Tikka. Everything we ate was brilliant but that in particular was an unexpected winner. The Aloo Chaat and Butter Chicken Masala were also well worth the hype. We were sat upstairs in a booth and the vibe in the restaurant was brilliant. We didn't feel cramped or rushed in any way. The service was excellent, with multiple members of staff on hand to help in any way. We'll definitely be returning in the future!
High class indian restaurant
It was our first visit to Gymkhana and it was an outstanding and delightful experience. This is indian cuisine on the highest level. Ambiance, decoration, reception, service and of course the food were absolutely faultless. Every single dish we ordered was delicious. Highly recommended.
Superb North Indian cuisine and faultless service
This was our first visit to Gymkhana, which received a second Michelin star earlier this year, the only Indian restaurant with two stars. That also meant that this was our first visit to a two-star Michelin restaurant. We were shown to our snug table downstairs. The decor is discreet as is the lighting and although the seating for the five of us around the table was fairly snug, it was nevertheless entirely comfortable. We ordered a number of dishes and appreciated our waiter's suggestion that what we had ordered was entirely sufficient, rather than suggesting that we over-order as has often been the experience at other restaurants. We had two vegetarians in our group so we had to order a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The kid goat methi keema was absolutely superb, with such finely chopped meat that it probably tasted even better without the accompanying pao. We also ordered the kasoori chicken tikka and the waiter suggested ordering an extra piece to match the number of people. One member of our party felt that the chicken was a little on the tough side. Among the mains, the quail seekh kebab was superb, beautifully flavoured and generously plump (two in a portion). The mushroom biryani was excellent - we really didn't miss the meat. It was also delicately flavoured and didn't induce a feeling of heaviness that you sometimes get with biryanis. To me it was the bread basket that was one of the standouts - every constituent of this collection of Indian breads was fluffy and ebullient - it was the most magnificent bread basket I've ever seen and it felt a travesty to devour it. Honestly I could have eaten nothing but the naan and the butter chicken sauce. The dal lasooni and khatta meetha baingan were also excellent and the gulab jamun was absolutely spot on - exactly as it should be - not the sickly sweet that you sometimes come across - and the presentation was superb. The masala tea was memorable too. You wonder what makes a restaurant, like Gymkhana, earn a Michelin star (or in its case two) whereas other restaurants cannot. The quality of the food goes without saying and the ambience of the restaurant is of course convivial. The presentation of the dishes and their timing is crucial too but I think the standout was how impeccable the service was - not stuffy/stiff at all and yet not obtrusive. The service could not have been better in any way - and that's testament to the quality of the staff that they employ and the training. Two last points, for a two-star Michelin restaurant, this is a bargain. I was very surprised how inexpensive it was. Of course if you want to impress someone, that option is very much available via, say, the tasting menu. But we were completely happy with the a la carte menu. I would add that the petits four were magnificent too. On a more sour note, do they really have to charge for tap water? I only saw this in the bill but if they'd said it was chargeable perhaps I would have opted for bottled water.
Service and penny pinching
We booked the cocktail lounge “42” from 1700-1830 and the main restaurant from 18:00 onwards. We arrived bang on time. The ambience of the cocktail lounge was amazing, as were the Indian influenced cocktails. However we were initially being pressured to leave and go to our table 30 mins early, and encouraged to take our cocktails with us rather than remain in the lovely surroundings. This was even though we spent just short of £200 on cocktails (2 each for 4 of us). It left us feeling short changed so we insisted that we wanted to finish our cocktails where we were. What made this worse was as that the waitress in the cocktail lounge made a charging mistake when charging to our credit card. They under charged by £1 on a £200 bill. Their mistake not ours! She then proceeded to come back with the credit card machine and ask for the £1!! Her mistake - why didn’t she simply deduct it from the service charge which amounted to £25 rather than chase £1?? This didn’t resonate as the behaviour of a Michelin starred establishment fixing their own mistake. The meal in the restaurant was superb and matched expectations having been before on business. We loved the fact that the table waiter and the sommelier both didn’t try to oversell the dishes. We had a great bottle and a number of the 4th Rifles Thornbridge beer made especially for Gymkhana. But the cocktail lounge treatment left a very bad taste
Would give Gymkhana six stars if I could.
Was lucky enough to grab a table when bookings for the week I was in London opened. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. First, the food. Unlike many fine dining restaurants, they feed you. Generous portions of hands down the best Indian food I've ever had (and I've had a lot). The butter chicken, pappadums, and Goan prawn curry were all outstanding. The smell of the naan was just absolutely heavenly. The service was as good if not better. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and saved us from over ordering (see above re portion size). He said we'd just have to come back to try the rest of the amazing food on the menu. The only thing that would keep me from going back is being unable to find a table because it's so (rightly) popular. But if I can get a table, I'm going back every chance I can.
We had drinks at 42 the Gymhkana cocktail lounge.
Good drinks and nice ambiance. But absolutely no food available. Not even a chip. This should be clear on the website.
Fine Indian Dining
An exceptional Imdian-food experience. Service could evolve a touch to keep up with quality of food but otherwise spot on.

Had a great dinner at Gymkhana - we got the pappadum, samosas, butter chicken, briyani and garlic naan. The highlight of the meal was definitely the briyani! Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. The food was quite pricy however, but we knew that going in, especially since it is a 2 MIchelin star restaurant.

Review is for Bar 42 only - the sister bar connected to Gymkhana - leaving here because yelp doesn't have anything for Bar 42. 5 stars for cocktails alone, giving 4 because the snack options were sparse and quite disappointing for being part of such a highly praised restaurant. Anyway, come here for the cocktails! This is by far the best lychee martini I've ever had - Nobu no longer holds the top spot. Wow. So clean and fresh and not syrupy sweet. I had 4. Whoops. All of the drinks on the menu looked incredible and I'd love to branch out and try some of their other cocktails. I'm sure they're all good. For the food, they really don't offer much which is a bummer seeing as they are part of gymkhana. For the table we ordered: The nuts (cashews & almonds that tasted like they had Trader Joe's everything but the bagel seasonings); the kalamata olives (it seemed people liked these, and they were flavorful, I'm just not a big olive gal); the chips/crisps and yogurt dip (crisps were light and airy and tossed in aromatic seasoning powder, the yogurt was just plain yogurt with chives). You've gotta order them because it's all they offer but I want impressed and think they can do better. Out of the three I chose the chips and dip.
Such a miserable experience! After making a res 4 weeks in
Such a miserable experience! After making a res 4 weeks in advance they would not let our 15 1/2 yo in the restaurant and turned us away (in the very fine print). Such arrogance and pretension. If you place any value on family, I would pass and spend $$$ on a place with any heart and value for the patron experience. What a disaster.
Flavorful and Delightful
Just a delightful restaurant. The cuisine is excellent. The waitstaff were perfectly attentive without being pushy. The only thing I would caution if doing the tasting menu is that it is a lot of food! I had eaten almost nothing that entire day but still couldn’t finish. If we were to do it over, I would choose to purchase a la carte.
We really enjoyed dining at Gymkhana and thought the food
We really enjoyed dining at Gymkhana and thought the food was amazing! The service was prompt, the servers were all very friendly and made us feel at home and did not miss a beat throughout the entire meal. The ambiance was cozy so we felt at home and we could enjoy each other's company and talk at a normal level. The food was AMAZING - very flavorful and loved the different bites throughout the meal. We definitely will be back and will highly recommend this place to anyone visiting London.
Simply superb
Exceptional lunch. Fantastic service and atmosphere. Al a carte menu gives wide range of choice. Lamb chops incredible and loved the pork vindaloo. Very busy even for lunchtime. Great wine choice too
Had heard so much about this place that I decided to
Had heard so much about this place that I decided to venture solo without a booking this rainy wet Tuesday morning. The hostess was absolutely fantastic and welcoming and gave me a table on the condition that I return it in 90 minutes - not a problem for me at all!! The servers were very knowledgeable and warm and quick with an explanation of the menu and dishes. I ordered two starters, nimbu pani, mango lassi and masala chai. Wiped the plates clean. Amazing taste. Left feeling fulfilled. It's not often that a much hyped up place lives upto its high expectations - luckily today was once such day overall. Great ambiance resembling "Gymkhana's from the yesteryears. Loved every minute. Thanks Gymkhana team.
Very pleasant but better than less expensive competitors?
The service was good generally and especially good from the head waiter. The food was very good but not staggeringly ‘oh my goodness’ good. Dishoom is a very close competitor I think. Not sure how it gets a Michelin never mind 2 and £175 is plenty for a couple of starters and mains with breads. I only had one beer! Nice touch with the complimentary Lassi but you didn’t need it as the food was not too spicy. There was 2 puddles of pee under the urinals which you might expect in a city pub but not a Michelin Restaurant. I don’t think I would go again but pleasant meal.
We had an amazing experience at gymkhana .
The food was was delicious . The service was excellent. The place is beautifully decorated and the seating is very nice . Loyd took care of us with utmost care and was extremely attentive and provided helpful tips about the food and portions. His personal touch stood out the most to me. All the staff we came in contact with were genuine and very nice . The aloo chat , the chutney accompaniment to the papadams were very tasty. The chicken tikka and salmon were also super tasty. As for the Naan , I thought it was bit on the harder side but still flavorful.
Amazing food and great service.
We tried the tiger prawns, the butter chicken, the saag veggie, the rack of lamb, and course a side of garlic naan. Amazing cocktails and then head upstairs to 42 for a night cap.
Extraordinary from every aspect
Gymkhana is truly extraordinary from every aspect. First, the restaurant is a very attractive, comfortable and quiet space. The tables are well spaced. Second, the staff at all levels are just superb-----from managers to hosts to waiters. All staff are warm, friendly and extremely helpful. Waiters were knowledgeable and very patient and described fully all items of interest on the menu. Thirdly, the food is exquisite……perfectly cooked and spiced and attractively presented. Portions are more than adequate. As to a recommended item, I would suggest everything on the menu. Gymkhana has two well deserved Michelin stars. Michelin describes three star restaurants as “worth a journey.” Gymkhana certainly falls into the “worth a journey” category. I will go as often as possible. A remarkable place!!
Overhyped, overpriced, underwhelmed
Food was decent but not spectacular. I've had far better in London and elsewhere. Everything started tasting the same after a while. Service was a little plodding. Overall underwhelming.
Both excellent and disappointing
On vacation from the United States ... Indian cuisine is my favorite ethnic food. Ambience was excellent. Service was solid but our waiter was difficult to understand. Best tandoori chicken I've had in my entire life! Fair play! The buttered chicken was good but not special. But oddly, this Michelin star restaurant served easily the WORST naan bread I've ever eaten. How do you screw that up if you're a restaurant at this level?? That such a simple thing tasted subpar affected the entire meal. I'm from New Jersey, which has a huge East Indian population and a wealth of good Indian restaurants. I can find better naan in pretty much any strip mall Indian restaurant in my state. Bizarre.
The New Standard for Indian Cuisine
The interior design, especially in the lower level is immaculate. I decided upon trying their Lunch Tasting Menu. My favorite dishes were the Saag Makai and of course their iconic Butter Chicken. The Butter Chicken is literal perfection. The Aloo Chaat starter was also uniquely tasty. The Goan Cafreal Salmon Tikka with Tomato Chutney was marvelous as well. The service was great, my water was promptly refilled the whole meal and silverware was reset between every course immediately after the removal of my previous dish. The wait staff were knowledgeable and informative on each dish presented. This was a lovely meal and the lunch set menu offers a great value and variety. I left stuffed to the gills with barely being able to finish all the courses. Without hesitation, book a reservation!
Excellent Set Lunch Menu
Our first time at this establishment and I am glad I haven’t read the negative reviews - for us everything was perfect: the food, the service, the ambiance and the drinks. We were there for lunch and we opted for the set menu. The Achari Paneer Tikka, Kasoori Chicken Tikka and Goan Cafreal Salmon Tikka were excellent but rather too big portions for an appetiser. The Goan Prawn Curry and Kid Goat Methi Keema were again excellent. For £49 a head it was an excellent value for money as well.
A Disappointing Return to Gymkhana: A Birthday Celebration Turns Awry
As I stepped into Gymkhana, my expectations were high, having previously enjoyed the excellent food and service for the first time back in October 2022. However, what was meant to be a birthday treat for my better half turned into an unmitigated disaster, revealing a stark contrast to my prior experiences. The first letdown was the table placement at the front of the restaurant. Having previously dined in more secluded booths, I failed to notice the poor spacing at the front. The proximity to other diners compromised any semblance of privacy, making maneuvering between tables a troublesome affair. The table setting seemed too casual for a Michelin-starred establishment, lacking the expected formality with cutlery placed haphazardly atop folded napkins. The absence of table linen further added to the un-Michelin atmosphere. Despite these initial disappointments, the sommelier managed to momentarily salvage the experience. The Chablis, perfectly chilled to the correct temperature, was poured with precision. Sadly, this marked the pinnacle of Michelin-worthy service for the evening. The downfall began as we placed our orders early, only to encounter a language barrier with the waitstaff. Then, despite my Indian origin, I was surprised to be asked if I needed the menu explained. The Punjabi Samosas and Gol Guppa were ordered, the latter arriving first. In an unfortunate turn of events, my girlfriend experienced discomfort as she began to eat, feeling the unwarranted gaze of the waitress fixated upon her. One can't help but wonder if this uncomfortable scrutiny arose from a misguided assumption that the white girl at the table lacked familiarity with the proper way to consume Gol Guppa. While the Gol Guppa proved delightful, the experience was further marred by the intrusive clearing of plates and cutlery while my girlfriend still held a morsel in her hand. This unnecessary haste left us feeling harassed and rushed. In a departure from the customary inquiries such as "Is everything to your liking?" and other tactful phrases, the relentless repetition of the question "Is everything good?" struck a chord as an excessive and somewhat aggressive departure from the norm. The intrusive nature of this inquiry not only deviated from the expected dining pleasantries but also left an impression of unnecessary and overbearing scrutiny, further diminishing the overall dining experience. The Punjabi Samosas, when they arrived, were mediocre, falling short of the standard found in many local curry houses. Despite the attentive sommelier, an overzealous waiter repeatedly topped up our glasses, pouring an excess of wine. This rushed service continued as the table was cleared before we could finish our starters, and we were immediately questioned about our main course preferences. The subsequent re-setting of the table was equally chaotic, with cutlery carelessly placed in the center of my setting (not to the side, or either side!), and my girlfriend's utensils slammed down and awkwardly dragged across the table and adjusted by the waiter, for whom the act of repositioning the cutlery required a somewhat awkward contortion across the table. It seems that the less-than-ideal table pitch played a significant role in this. Even as my wine glass was continually over-replenished, we decided to call it quits by requesting the bill at a mere 15 minutes past our booking time. To the credit of the manager, he inquired about our abrupt departure and insisted we not pay for the unsatisfactory experience. Regrettably, this visit to Gymkhana proved to be far from the relaxing and enjoyable dining experience we had anticipated. It appears that an outstanding experience at Gymkhana may be reserved for individuals bearing the name Giles Coren. For the rest of us mere mortals, the alterative prospect of paying someone to orchestrate such an ordeal, leaving us feeling aggrieved and our wallets ablaze, might be more preferable. Thus, it is with disappointment that we declare our decision not to return to Gymkhana.
Underwhelming
We have been lucky enough to eat in some wonderful restaurants in London, but unfortunately Gymkhana is not one of them. The food was only ok and the service - whilst friendly - was variable. The wine list was expensive - even by London standards. It's also a shame that the menu contains only minimal information, as we like to be able to read about the ingredients and how the dish is cooked when choosing what we want to eat. While the staff did provide information about the dishes, it is hard to hold details of numerous dishes in your head! The meal and experience did not merit the £100 per head price tag. It was very disappointing, as we hoped for more from a restaurant awarded a second Mitchelin star recently.
Best Indian Food in London
I try to come here a few times a year as it’s the best Indian food in London. The quality and precision of the menu offerings is top notch. The ambience is fantastic and unique. In a town full of good Indian options across a range of price points, Gymkhanna remains king!
So disappointing
Were Seated downstairs and waited ages to be served despite being almost empty. Ordered papadams which were all different and not enough for four people so ordered another portion again waited ages. My starter was just ok as a vegan. I still think not enough variety for a vegan. My guests had kebabs which were certainly not tasty. I had a side dhall and when I say side it was such a tiny portion but was quite good. My aloo side was just like boiled potatoes and tasteless I mentioned this and it was taken away and I was not charged. My daughter had the paneer curry which even to look at was horrible it was a creamy colour and looked like something I’m Not going to say. My daughter hardly ate any of it and the waiter took it away and never said a word. The whole time we were sitting there huge plates of food were going past us to the staff sitting behind us. It was like Piccadilly Circus and very distracting. They certainly got bigger portions. My husband had the prawn curry which was watery with no marination and he counted 3 large prawns. No draught lager available just extremely expensive small bottles. I read reviews and chose this for a birthday meal. We have the most fabulous restaurants in Wembley and this restaurant comes nowhere near whilst I appreciate rent and rates are high in Mayfair the prices for what we thought as regular diners of curry are just extortionate. Maybe the chef had an off day. We will never return.
Food: ordered the aloo chaat, tandoori masala lamb chops,
Food: ordered the aloo chaat, tandoori masala lamb chops, chicken butter masala, and the dal maharani. The chaat and the dal were both standouts, with amazing flavor and immediate comfort. The lamb chops were also good, but a few of the pieces were a bit overdone. The chicken butter masala was a heightened version of your typical butter chicken, with more complex and layered flavors and spices. For dessert, we had a selection of sorbets (coconut & lime, mango) and ice cream (South Indian filter coffee), which were incredibly refreshing. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the dishes and recommending which selections would complement each other. Highly recommend a meal here.
This place used to be good.
Honestly it used to be one of the best Indian restaurants in London. But when I tell you it has fallen off a cliff I am not exaggerating. The food was barely recognizable. We got the tasting menu and in addition to the service being slow and the waiters seeming like we were in their way, the food...oh my god I was so disappointed. The naan was burnt and the black daal that we look forward to so much tasted bland and unseasoned. Save yourself a bad evening and go to Dishoom. Much better food and service.
If I had to recommend one restaurant in London, it would be
If I had to recommend one restaurant in London, it would be Gymkhana. Now this is my first Michelin star restaurant and the experience absolutely won me over. Starting with drinks, I went with something virgin: the Mango Ginger spritz and it was SO good I had to order it twice. My boyfriend went with the Muntjac Biryani, a game meat which happens to be a cute little miniature deer that is an invasive species haha. I couldn't, I was a Vegetarian for years before we met and I still 70% am. I went with the vegetarian tasting menu. The waiter and chef was so kind to include two servings complimentary (as per the regular one) so that my boyfriend was included in my tastings as well as a vegetarian biryani for me, so I could try his biryani. We didn't request this. They went above and beyond! My favorite dish was the paneer on the tasting menu. It was so creamy and delicious. Absolutely blew my mind! 10/10 would recommend and you must get the tasting menu! Come hungry!
If your not a fan, you'll be a fan.
It's absolutely worth going and returning. Service, presentation, taste and texture is absolutely amazing!

Abdul was the most knowledgeable person regarding everything we had and more. He is such a delight it was great getting to know his story on coming to the UK and it's even better knowing Gymkhana helps students.
The food is absolutely amazing here! Service and all staff
The food is absolutely amazing here! Service and all staff was excellent. Definitely highly recommend this restaurant to anyone once visiting London. It needs to be on your list of must try. Will visit again for sure!
Delicious food, great drinks, beautiful design.
We were welcomed straight away. All staff were friendly and the food was delicious.
We had a fantastic time at Gymkhana celebrating our
We had a fantastic time at Gymkhana celebrating our anniversary and my husband's birthday. This is five star service and food without being Uber pretentious. Our favorite dishes included the Kid Goat Methi Keema, Chicken Butter Masala and the Pork Cheek Vindaloo. We also tried the Punjabi Samosas and Kasoori Chicken Tikka. They were also very good, but not as stand out as the top dishes. All in all - service, vibes, food and drinks were excellent. You really can't beat the price for a Michelin star meal either.
It's not every day you get to dine at a Michelin-starred
It's not every day you get to dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant let alone a Michelin-starred Indian restaurant, but in London you can do this! I elected to get lunch at Gymkhana because a) it worked for my schedule and b) they have a really great lunch menu that is considerably affordable by Michelin standards. For £44 I got a delicious multi-course meal that I sadly couldn't finish. It was so much food and I wish my hotel had a fridge/microwave as I would have wanted to take the rest with me. Lunch starts with a pappadum selection including 4 different kinds of crisps: potato and chili, lentil, rice, and wheat and fenugreek. It also has 3 different dips/spreads including a lemon pickle and yogurt raita, coriander and mint chutney, and shrimp sorpotel which is made with dried shrimp and tomato. Each of the pappadums was really delicious as were all of the spreads. I ate way to much of this LOL. You also get a generous portion of aloo chaat which was SO GOOD and I also ate way too much of it before the rest of my meal arrived. You get to select an appetizer, and I got the Goan cafreal salmon tikka with tomato chutney. It really a totally new dish for me and a really unique experience. I really loved it. The salmon was so tender and juicy and practically melted in my mouth. The tomato chutney was spicier than I expected but a really nice complement to the fish. For my main course I chose the chicken butter masala, which is perhaps the least adventurous option but a perennial favorite and one I couldn't resist. It came with dal lasooni, saag makai (saag corn), and either basmati rice or a bread basket. OMG everything was so phenomenal I can't even express in words. I was impressed by each dish and immediately made note to try and recreate some of them myself at home. Aside from the incredible food, the ambiance is really warm yet sophisticated. I love the decor. The service was fantastic. Not only was my server on point, but the hostess and I am guessing one of the managers who was up by the hostess stand were very friendly and chatted with me after my meal and asked me where I was from and talked about my meal and other plans in London. Even the bartender was extremely friendly and vocal even though I was only walking by the bar to head to the bathroom. I felt truly welcome and never felt like it was a stuffy or stuck-up kind of place. If you love Indian food, you absolutely must put Gymkhana on your list for restaurants to try in London. You won't be disappointed.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?

Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
