The food was pretty good but the service was unbearably slow. Our server forgot to order someone's entree and the dessert never showed up. Would not return to this restaurant
Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning.
Patio seating is nice. They have great heaters if you happen to need one. The burger on the lunch/brunch menu is a steal. About $10 for a very high quality burger with fries. Cheaper than a fast food restaurant and 100x the quality. This is one of my favorite places to order lunch from because of their burger special. Also got the egg white omelette which was good. Pretty standard for an egg white omelette, didn't match the price. They also served fresh homemade bread and sweet butter which was delicious as well. Definitely check out STK for brunch!
Music and lively crowd.
Pretty good place for groups. We (2 of us) had a reservation and we were seated close to the time. Unfortunately we were put at the table closest to reservation stand and bar. Our server was excellent and not only knew her stuff, but was really nice. After being bumped by 15 or so loitering idiots, I asked the restaurant manager if he thought this was ok? Our food was ready to be served but we didn't have a table as the manager was moving us to a less moronic place. He did get us a table upstairs outside, where if the temps were warmer would have been great. But no outdoor heaters made the space a bit chilly. (Special thanks to our server for getting us a blanket) Our food arrived and was adequately warm. The food tasted good and our new server was nice. Overall, servers 5 stars, food 3.5 stars ambiance 3.5 stars. Management 1 star, restaurant leadership and awareness of guests 1 star. Best bet, go somewhere else. The bill was ridiculous, and absolutely not worth the price. Too many great places within walking distance to pay that kind of money for a slightly above average meal. One bright note was the chef and I had a great conversation on the way out and he definitely knows his stuff.

Love STK! The food is always amazing and Francesco is the best bartender ever! Very knowledgeable and inviting! We always end up staying longer because of the great service.

Play by play experience: showed up at 7:05 for a 7pm reservation. They asked if we wanted to be seated inside or outside and we responded we'd like to be seated inside and they said it would be a 15 min wait. We waited 15 min only to be brought upstairs to a new hostess stand where they said only outside was available. I'm the type that gets cold easily so it was concerning in less than 60degree weather but we had already waited 15 min and wanted to be seated to start dinner, they promised there were fire pits out there. After being seated, the fire pit went out. Took them 20 minutes to get it turned on again, our table and other patrons were noticeably cold until they figured out how to turn the fire back on. Next part of our terrible experience, they brought out our mains (short rib and lobster linguini) but took our silverware with the apps, we waited over 5 min watching our food getting cold then reached over to the other table to get our own silverware. Worst part of this- the $55 short rib was 90% fat, barely any meat on there and we had to send it back. We just ended up sharing the lobster and leaving as soon as possible. Don't waste your money here, you're better off at Outback Steakhouse.

The staff was friendly at first then when it came time to pay the bill they made me and my husband sign a sheet of paper and write our address on it and a lot of other information the server said their system was down but everyone else revived regular receipts. We looked up what that sheet of paper was and it was verification so that we wouldn't call the bank and dispute the charge. Me and my husband are black so we feel this was racially motivated. Racist manager and disrespectful to assume and impose stereotypes
One of the best steaks in town.
Blue point east coast oysters were fresh. The meatballs were a 10/10. Lobster Mac was loaded with lobster. The spicy watermelon martini was amazing! I can't recommend this place enough.

Came here to celebrate my birthday , it was a nice intimate environment. The chicken and waffles were great!
Very disappointed in the quality of food and service.
I get that every establishment has an off night, but not to this extent. From start to finish, service is subpar at best. Had to ask for waters to start. Steak was dry, tough, and not worth the price. Ordered the King Crab legs, by far the worst crab I've ever had in my life. Very disappointed for the price we paid and the quality of food and service we received.
Wow. First time visiting and last time back. We were there for a friends birthday and it was a disappointment from start to finish. First of all, while the prices are pretty standard for Scottsdale they’re INSANE for what you get here. Started with a $21 martini, basic martini nothing fancy. Most other steak houses in town this would be served in a large martini glass with a shaker on the side… nope. Small martini glass no frills. Salad: Ordered a wedge salad, which we asked to be chopped (they would not) and the dressing tasted like it was out of a plastic hidden valley bottle, did not finish. $24 Main: Asked the server what she recommended for a steak, I typically like a ribeye, and I was told the Delmonico was the best they had “a super thick cut ribeye with lots of marbeling, best steak in house…” so I ordered that medium… LOL when I tell you I’ve seen a better looking ribeye from the counter at Bashas I AM NOT EXAGGERATING! It came to the table and I was shocked. It might have been an inch thick (that’s generous) and it was medium well plus! I don’t typically send things back but I did because I feel like when you’re paying $112 for a steak, at the very least it should be cooked the way you ordered it. The next attempt was rushed; brown around the edges and basically raw in the center and just tasted salty…. Did not finish. Multiple items at the table were sent back for being over/ under cooked. . I ordered a side of chimichurri and horse radish which is considered a “sauce plate” and consists of two tiny silver ramekins for $16. Sides: Asparagus- basic super thick and stringy $19 Mashed potatoes - had a chunky consistency and a burnt flavor from whatever char was on top. $19 Desert: Didn’t bother. Honestly, don’t waste your time. For $400 for two people I suggest you visit one of the many other amazing steak houses in a Scottsdale Steak 44, Maple and Ash, The Americano, Fat Ox, Ocean 44, City Hall… the list goes on.
Atmosphere: very trendy, party ambiance. Food: good. Service: good but slow
I had made Saturday night dinner reservations for 4 at 7:00, upon arrival, the placed was packed. Obviously a very popular dining scene. The entreway, very instagrammable with decorated wall to pose for your photos. The inside dining and bar were extremely loud, fortunately we were given the option to dine outside, patio seating which worked out perfectly. We were dining with out of town guest that we hadn't seen in awhile and wanted to catch-up. Our server, very nice young lady took our drink orders while we caught up and perused the menu. We ordered 1/2 dozen Oysters on the half shell, Jalapeno Pickled Shrimp Cocktail, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Filet and Lobster Surf and Turf with the Wagyu Unami Butter, Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, Asparagus and Yukon Gold Mash Potatoes. I will say the service was very slow, limited staff with a lot of tables to tend to... again it worked for us because we were catching up. The food all tasted good, wasn't a WOW though, everything prepared to order. My only complaint was the size of the shrimp which were hidden under the pickled jalapenos were only the size of a large shrimp... for $33, was not worth it. Be expected to have a hefty bill as we did. Would I revisit again?, maybe not with so many other steak places to go, but if you are coming for the experience it's worth a try. Atmosphere: very trendy, party ambiance. Food: good. Service: good but slow (understaffed for a weekend night)
We have come here for happy hour, dinner and drinks and we just love everybody! Caesar has waited on us a number of times and he is the absolute best!!! He is so attentive and very friendly!!! We look forward to seeing him and having an amazing conversation with him every time we are there!!
Great Service - Bravo Ale!
Went to STK for some drinks and applies - got served by Ale - so pleasant and personable - made us feel so welcome. She is THE gold standard when it comes to service - thank you Ale !
Quite Nice Sunday Lunch.
Yes, it's a chain. We needed some respite in Old Town Scottsdale following a crazy Saturday night. There is a large, wrap-around veranda at which to laze in the sun. The food is not spectacular, and the service expectedly average. Again, it's a chain, so I didn't have high expectations. The Wagyu Beef Burger is a bargain at $9.99. It was fabulous. I highly recommend it. The potato fries, aka French fries, aka pommes frites, were excellent. We didn't touch the table bread, since were having carb-overload with the buns and fries, but the thought was nice. On the other end of the affordability scale, $21 for a teeny Margarita, served in a tiny champagne saucer, was exorbitant. Overall, as expected. Would we return, yes, but only for their Wagyu Burgers, which we both believe to be their "loss leader".
Perfect spot for date night (ask for Kelton as your server!)
My boyfriend and I visited STK in December to celebrate the holidays. Between the menu options, ambience of the restaurant, and staff members, we had an exceptional experience. The food is always our favorite in Scottsdale but this visit was extra special as we had Kelton as a server. Kelton went above and beyond, offered menu recommendations, and never seemed to be in a hurry. He made every one of his tables feel welcomed and valued as he was a great conversationalist. When we return to this location, we will definitely ask for Kelton again!
Just had a phenomenal rack of New Zealand lamb. Golden potatoes and Brussel sprouts wonderful as well. Quality mixed drinks to complete the experience. Didn’t expect this…but definitely look forward to doing it again!
No ambiance, exceptionally loud and overcrowded

Our family of four chose STK for Christmas Eve dinner. To some extent it’s expected that holidays are busy but sadly the “zoo factor” was in full force on Christmas Eve . My disappointment started with the observation of an overbooked establishment with at least 20 guests waiting in the entry; the crowd spilled over into the outside on the patio /stair landing entry to STK. This tragic sight of frustrated patrons was completely unnecessary and was clearly the result of poor capacity planning by the management. Crowding the entry were the additional tables must have been added to accommodate the seasonal crowd; how incorrigible it was to see putting on their happy face while trying their best to enjoy their $150 a plate at the edge of the bar that crowded into the waiting area. I took the extra step of calling ahead to confirm seating arrangements – asked specifically for a booth. After a 40 minute wait after our reservation time we were, much to our chagrin, seated in bar. The music was deafening and spoiled any semblance of ambiance; so loud that one could barely converse with the person seating across from you. That all said, our dining experience turned favorable with what can only be described as exceptional wait staff that provided friendly, accommodating and professional service despite the challenging onslaught of customer demand. Arrival of dishes was in line with culinary standards; wine decanting in all. A tip of the cap and complement the chefs as they took the high demand in stride with superbly prepared New York strips and sides. The Cesar salad was arguably one of the best ever with a balance of sumptuous dressing and croutons to die for. The bacon Mac and cheese was simply awesome. Perhaps I’m a tad old school for the apparent ‘hip vibe’ of STK as I’d prefer a quieter atmosphere.

It says a lot that when you stop into a new restaurant for lunch, and before you've finished your meal, you've already gone online to book a dinner reservation. STK Scottsdale has the perfect mix of perfectly aged steaks, an impressive wine list and perfect ambiance.
Food was absolutely amazing! Enjoyed everything we ate and drank. Caesar waited on us and his service was above and beyond! He made us feel extremely welcome. Thank you for everything!

Made a reservation at 7, finally got sat at 8 (Yes an HOUR after our reservation). There were seven of us, and we got sat at 2 very small tables that were pushed together and weren't the same height making it uncomfortable for the person who sat right on the crack. We asked the manager if we could move but of course no available tables, so the manager said he'd "take care of us" then didn't do anything. I got the Wagyu Flat Iron with the Wagyu butter, wonderful flavor but the steak was extremely chewy (cooked medium rare). The only reason I didn't give it a one star was because they had a great DJ and their corn pudding was delicious. The place is pretty but horribly managed.
Good was not great for the money. We go to the one in Los Angeles often and this was disappointing.
Came here for Happy Hour and it was totally worth it.
Great spot for small bites. Good deal for food and drinks.
Came to STK for the first time for my girlfriends 40th.
The food was amazing- I got the sea bass and the truffle fries! Our waitress Lilly was so sweet and attentive! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and the food! Overall GREAT experience! You just check it out!
The sea bass and blue cheese bread were AMAZING! And if you can, ask to be seated in Lily's section. She was INCREDIBLE... Attentive, kind and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back
Would be awesome if they left old Town so we can keep it
Would be awesome if they left old Town so we can keep it classy here . Loud obnoxious place.
I really wanted to like this place BUT.
..no! Our food was decent, cocktails were good, our server disappeared for the longest time so we complained and ended up with a no one. If you are wanting a romantic dinner this is not the place because they do have a DJ and the music is super loud!
Great food, beautiful atmosphere. Servers and bartenders are friendly and fun. Highly recommend coming here next time you’re in scottsdale!

Weird atmosphere for a steakhouse, it was a club vibe, very dark and loud music from a 2000's playlist. Meals did not come at the same time. Half the food was terrible the other half was good but not as great as it should have been. The restaurant was not busy at all but the server did not check in often. Overpriced for the terrible experience also the bathrooms smelled disgusting like sewer and were not clean!

What a great place with the best service! We had the sweetest server! Cassidy was amazing!!! So sweet and attentive! Will definitely will be back! The food was amazing!!
Like eating steak at a rave
The steak and not your fathers old fashioned were fantastic! The service was a bit rushed and not personable. We had a reservation for 6:15, and by the time we got to our steaks, the music turned from loud to, “I’m trying to eat my steak in a club and can’t hear myself think let alone have a conversation with the three people I was dining with.” So once the music was that loud, it was almost uncomfortable to finish our food and it definitely made us not want to stay for more drinks or for deserts. We ended up going elsewhere to finish the evening where we could have conversation.
STK Experience always a pleasure
If you are looking for a fine dining experience, STK offers fine dining in many locations. I have dined at STK Steakhouse in Las Vegas, and STK Steakhouse in Scottsdale is very comparable in both cuisine and experience. The restaurant itself is located is a very safe area with many option restaurants as well. There is angled parking available; however, I imagine this area to get quite busy during mealtimes. We chose to valet park – it was only $9. We had a group of eight and were able to make a reservation without issues for a Wednesday evening. When we arrived, it was not busy at all, maybe a handful of couples scattered throughout the restaurant. The space did fill up though as the night wore on. Our dining experience took about three hours from start to finish, which is normal for an establishment like STK. STK is about the experience, and of course the customer service is sublime! Our large group was attended to very well during our entire experience. Now, as I mentioned, STK is fine dining and a steakhouse, so expect the prices to reflect that. There is a Tomahawk Steak on the menu for $157! The side dishes are prepared and served family-style. We ordered a few different appetizers for the table to start our meal – Burrata, Bacon and Calamari. All excellent dishes. Most of the members of our party ordered steaks, but I ordered the Salmon, and I was pleased with both the serving size and preparation. The side dishes we ordered ranged from brussel sprouts to mac n cheese. The serving size on each side dish could easily be shared among three to four people comfortably. STK as a dining option is a great experience to be had, but I will note that STK is a louder restaurant – not romantic in my opinion. If you are ready to party with your meal, STK is an excellent option. The music is up, and as the night goes on it seems to get louder and more “night club-like.” Not a bad thing, but just something of note when you are planning your dining experience. As always, in this post-pandemic world, make a reservation, and be sure to enjoy the experience of STK Steakhouse.
Seriously… do NOT waste your money here
DO NOT COME HERE WITH A LARGE GROUP. I reserved a table (note, just one table) for a group of 13 months in advance. We arrive at the restaurant and they told us it would be a few minutes before our table was ready. Ok fine. We proceeded to wait a full hour before being seated (which seemed to be the case with every party there that night) and they then told us they were breaking our group into two tables right next to each other, which were next to each other but we were in no way able to talk to each other. I saw this happen to multiple large groups who had reservations that night and they were just as infuriated at we were. I did not book the reservation for two tables, and if they couldn’t fit us at one table that should’ve been flagged when I was booking the reservation. The food was just OK. Definitely wayyyy overpriced and they messed up a lot of things (mainly steak temp) and they in no way tried to make up for the fact that we were having a terrible experience except taking off the steak they messed up off the bill. The hostesses were incredibly rude (and they clearly did not know how to do their job) and the managers couldn’t care less about our bad experience. Our waitress was absolutely lovely but that was the only good thing. My advice: don’t come here unless you are in a group of 2, or just don’t come here at all.
Ambere was great! Very personable, sweet, and talked us through the whole menu! Great experience and made for an enjoyable meal!
1 Star Catastrophic Fail
This place is a Catastrophic Fail on many fronts. I waited 5 days before posting this thus allowing time to mellow my review. I should have known better when 200 of the 500 people who reviewed this place wouldn’t have recommend it! But on Mother’s Day, Momma rules and she wanted to try it. Let me start by saying we were not the party from hell. We were all happy, smiling, laid back and in general a real fun table to serve. We were a party of 5 year round local folk. Since this is a 1 star review, let me start with the straw that broke broke the camel’s back and then work forward with all the minor events that make this a total 1 star catastrophic restaurant on multiple fronts. Two of the entrees ordered were the rack of lamb, to be cooked medium rare/pink. For a steak house this should have been a no brainer to accomplish. Both orders arrived a beautiful pink medium rare and absolutely DEAD COLD, not even remotely warm to the touch. Both orders were sent back to the kitchen and returned to us within minutes. The rack of lamb was now a piping hot medium well, brown in color with no pink left to be seen. A true miracle of the microwave era (or broiler). The lamb made a final trip back to the kitchen for repair. But like the carpenter who cut it 3 times and found it was still too short, the same plate were returned but this time in even worse condition. One order was reluctantly kept and the other order returned. Even a 5 year old knows you can’t keep cooking something to make it more rare! No one offered a “sincere” apology or offered to make a new order or bring out something else. In short, they hoped to create a fairy tail miracle by keep cooking the lamb to make it rare again (can you do that?). It was only at the end of the dinner did the manager come over to tell me that we would not be charged for the 2 orders of lamb one of which was picked at and the other never received. The manager was totally useless. Now on to the rest of the experience at STK. We ate outside because it was so noisy inside you couldn’t talk to one another. Outside the speakers were loud and not adjustable but tolerable. The $21 margaritas were ordered on the rocks with salt. All 5 arrived without salt and were incredibly lacking alcohol but tasted good. The water served with the meal was the temperature of tepid bath water (thankfully no soap). When asked for ice, it took forever to get. The “glom” of dough they called bread was cold (on their defense, maybe it was supposed to be cold?). The server knew little or nothing of sanitation. She partially bussed her own tables and then picked up water glasses by the rim with dirty hands from dirty bussed dishes (yuk). A busser would fill 2 water glasses, leave 3 empty and move on to fill glasses at another table (with more warm water) thus requiring a 10 minute wait for ice. After the table was cleared we were ready to order dessert & coffee. Instead of bringing a dessert menu, our server brought the check. We looked at each other, laughed and basically said “screw it”, paid the check and went for dessert down the street. We were ready to leave anyways! In short, this place is a joke. The prices charged are in line with Mastro’s, Ocean Club, Ruth’s Chris, Steak 44, etc but the service, food, atmosphere and MANAGEMENT are a farce. Look at the reviews. They have almost as many 1 star as they have 5 stars. Could this possibly be a case of 5 star harvesting from friends and family to offset their culinary failure?? In summary, you guessed it, with so many great restaurants in the area, I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND STK.
Great bartender and decent drinks. I love the outdoor patio. It is too loud for me inside. The prices were quite high on all the food and not sure it was worth it.
Good times, loud dining
I understand how they can charge such a Ridiculous price for a steak in Scottsdale. They even have a waiter in the bathroom holding paper, selling gum, and displaying cologne to try. It was impossible to hear myself think let alone people near me.
STK…a tasty & fun “must” to enjoy!!!
Absolutely FAB Happy Hour with great prices on signature drinks and gourmet apps til 6:30pm. Savannah & Jazz are friendly professional mixologists that creatively tantalize your tastebuds as do the chefs! German (pronounced Herr-mahn) interacts with patrons masterfully, open to ideas to make his patrons happy, as does his staff. Definitely keeping STK on our Top 5 Old Town Scottsdale places to Drink & Dine, often!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Just celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary at STK in Scottsdale Arizona tonight, was our first time at an STK restaurant and it was fantastic! The food was phenomenal and Brian, our server, was on point and super cool! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for great food, and awesome service in an elegantly modern and chill atmosphere! Sorry I didn't take any pictures because I didn't have my phone out....
Hello, I wanted to reach out in regards to my dining
Hello, I wanted to reach out in regards to my dining experience at STK over the weekend. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had a steakhouse. It started immediately when my friend and I walked through the door, we had a 845 reservation and did not seated until almost 905. After that we order drinks, appetizers and our entrees. We received drinks and apps in a timely manner. We did not receive our entrees for another hour and half and once our food came out it was all wrong. This was so upsetting to deal with and has left a stale taste in my friends and I mouth. We didn't even end up finishing our food. We paid a lot of money to dine in this establishment and this experience turned us away from ever wanting to come back.

Brian was amazing!!! Love his energy and passion for what he does. He definitely created a memorable experience for my husbands birthday. Great service is hard to find these days and Brian went above and beyond. We appreciate his service, STK's food and cocktails. We will definitely be returning!!!
I'd give this place 0 stars if I could.
Several people waited over an hour for pickup orders. Food is bland. Host was dismissive and rude to multiple parties (and I had an hour and a half to people-watch their interactions). There are so many better places in Scottsdale to take your business to.
Had a reservation tonight at 5pm, Ambere was our waitress.
Absolutely phenomenal service and the food was perfect.Thank you!
Bryan was an amazing server! The food was incredible .
I would highly recommend this place.
