It was out of desperation that we found this restaurant.
We wanted to try a different restaurant only to fight rush hour traffic to see a sign on their door stating that they are closed for the next two weeks. Some quick thinking on my husband's part brought us to one of my go to places for great gluten free pizza. As we pulled into the parking lot lot we realized that it had closed down. We looked around the lot and realized that we had never tried The Black Sheep. I entered hungry and cranky. The room was very stylish and our server Joel greeted us as soon as we walked in and seated us at a nice table. My cranky meter is going down. It almost went back up when I was told that they don't serve Iced Tea. My jaw hit the floor. What kind of restaurant doesn't serve Iced Tea? I almost took off a star because of this. The menu looked very promising. I asked the server if they had any gluten free items and he informed me that there could be a possibility of some cross contamination because they are not a certified gluten free restaurant but he marked all the items that didn't contain gluten in them or that can be made gluten free by omitting certain ingredients. I was left with a majority of the menu to choose from. I felt like a kid in a candy store. We started with the Pear and Apple Salad and the Shrimp Wraps. The salad is tied with the Crispy Duck Salad at Chyna Club for the best salad in Las Vegas. It had poached pears. Thin slices of apple, candied pancetta and pecans with blue cheese creme brûlée. The crème brûlée was absolutely amazing. I'm not a blue cheese fan normally but the pungent flavor was not evident in this dish. It was just creamy and sweet. I would have licked the plate if I was at home. The Shrimp Wraps were like an elevated lettuce wraps with perfectly cooked shrimp. The Slow Braised Short Rib was so tender it could be eaten with a spoon and it was as tasty as it was tender. It came with kimchi fried rice and a sunny side up egg. I was asked what temperature I would like my Flat Iron Steak. I ordered it rare as always. It came with a potato au gratin square, watercress and endive salad and au poivre sauce. I think if you ask what temperature you like your steak then you should present it at that temperature. Mine came at medium rare teetering on medium. If it were a full steak in a steakhouse I would have sent it back but I don't feel that the over cook of the steak ruined the dish in anyway. The Black Sheep is a great place for a date or to just enjoy fabulous food with friends at a chic but comfortable eatery. Every dish is plated beautifully. The service is top notch as well. I would however recommend making reservations because it is quite small. I think there were only about a dozen tables.

The food is ok, not as delicious as I thought it would be especially all the great reviews. But there wasn't bothering me at all since we all appreciate food differently. The service is very BAD, I wanted to order appetizers first but he said we should order everything at one time. I don't understand why. But we did it. The sad part is we waited for close to an hour to get our entrees and the restaurant is half empty! I almost wanted to walk out before the food came.

The staff was welcoming, environment trendy but not stuffy, and the food outstanding. We will definitely be back!

Dim lighting created a cozy vibe, the perfect balance between elegant and relaxed. Wooden tables, comfortable chairs, and soft music set the perfect scene. Love supporting a Vietnamese chef - feels like a taste of home with a twist. This was our 5th time here... hands down one of our favorite restaurants in vegas! Fried beef crisps were addictive, crispy and flavorful, and disappearing way too fast haha! Steak tartare was perfection, fresh and seasoned just right, a burst of flavor with each bite. Grass-fed ribeye was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, though a bit pricey. Not something I would get every time but great for a special occasion! The old fashioned comes with a skewer of prosciutto, and is one of the best I've had in quite a while. Service has been fantastic and servers have always been super attentive every time we've been here.

Smaller space than I imagined but still classy. Our server, Dale, took such great care of is described each dish perfectly and with enthusiasm (and we ordered pretty much the whole menu). Appetizers: Hamachi crudo Steak tartare on beef crisps Calamari Salmon skin tacos Pork Bao buns (off menu) Hard to pick a favorite, they were all good in their own way. But we finished the calamari, bao buns, and tacos right away. We had to pace ourselves with the others since they had a kick to them. The Hamachi was refreshing. Entrees: Whole rainbow trout Short ribs with kimchi rice Duck confit (off menu) Trout was lightly seasoned and boneless! Short ribs were like butter. This was my favorite out of the three. The duck was crispy and paired well with the couscous. Desserts: Dark chocolate tres leches Madelines with pistachio cream All entrees were delicious and big portions. My group was able to share and get a taste of everything. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Like what our server advised, it's more of what you are in the mood for. The desserts were the perfect amount of sweetness to top off an amazing course. Will be back to try the rest of the menu and hoping there will be seasonal items as well. It is a great place for a business meeting or just chatting with friends.

Seemed a little overhyped for me. Service was great though. Very organized. Vibe was obnoxious and seemed like it was staged in a way. They run out of food which lets me know it's all premade. Not fresh. Just heated up in pan. Weird rules and I prob won't be coming back.

I come here several Times a month. I love everything on their menu The only thing i would say is the staff isn't the best.. and that's always frustrating. But the food is so Good that i overlook that because it's my favorite restaurant. I love the chill layout and it's usually pretty easy to get a reservation

What can I say? Best meal we had in Vegas. Specifically went due to seeing Jamie Tran as a contestant on Top Chef and this place did not disappoint. Small and cozy restaurant with top notch service and creative food. Ordered two drinks and the bartender (who was also our waitress) was more than happy to make a whiskey sour the egg whites and it was very good. My husbands Old Fashioned was also excellent. Started meal with two appetizers...Imperial Spring Rolls and Pear and Apple Salad. Outstanding flavor combinations on both dishes. My husband ordered the Flat Iron Steak and I had the short ribs. Yummy all around and short ribs were so tender. Definitely would return if we visit Vegas again. Worth the trip off the strip.

The service was perfect too! We are locals and can't wait to go back. It's a small place, not super fancy but definitely makes for a good date night! The drinks and wine were also very good!

First off, I am a massive carnivore, yet on the last 3 visits, I have had the vegan sauteed glass noodles as my entree. It is that good. Wife is partial to the salmon, which is also excellent. Poached pear dish is a 5/5 choice. Next visit will include the salmon skin tacos. (Would have tried the tacos last time except that I have a salmon skin wallet which gave a bit of a pause.) Limited menu here, and we look forward to trying most every item. Service and staff attention to the dining experience is flawless.

Enjoyed our dinner here recently! We started with the pear and apple salad. It was so decadent. It was more like a dessert than a salad. Would have loved a little more arugula, but it was very tasty. Then we had the empanadas. The chimmichurri sauce was really good, but we wished there was a little more of that on them. I had the short rib with kimchi fried rice. The meat was so tender and the sauce was really good. The fried rice was amazing! My husband had the lamb with tumeric noodles. The noodles were the best we have ever had and the sauce you could drink it! We had the Madelines for dessert. We sat at the bar which we always love to do and had a great time with our server/bartender. It is a small quaint place and we really enjoyed it.

The food is amazing!!!!!!! I had the kimchi short rib fried rice with egg. My friend had fish with jasmine rice I think it was trout and she said it was amazing. The drinks were awesome. The poached pear salad was the show stopper.

Our waiter was knowledgeable and made many recommendations. Service was quick and food came out fast. We did go on a Sunday, so it wasn't very busy. The drinks were 5 star. I mean, amazing! There was a back side to that menu with wine and beers. The food was great, very interesting flavors that all paired nicely. The only complaint we had was the amount of food you get for the price. The location of this restaurant is in a strip mall, so it felt like it should have been a little cheaper. The ribeye was $48 for 6 slices. Aside from that, we had a great experience and left feeling full and happy.

This place always has the highest quality food and drinks. We are always so amazed by everything we order. Also the servers are total sweethearts! They explain the menu in depth and help you decide on items when you're not to sure. Always recommend this place!

Must Go - Amazing Food and cocktails
This was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was original, inventive and delicious. The cocktails and wine list were wonderful. Our waiter, Dale, was fun and recommended great food items from the menu. We went with Vegas friends who had been there before. Chef Jaime stopped by and it was great to meet her. There are many restaurants inVegas but this should be on the top of your list.

We had 8:30 pm reservations. This was our second visit in the past month. We are from out of town, but love the food. We arrived 10 minutes late, but our table was still reserved. We were seated and noticed a very large party was nearby. The restaurant was full, but not uncomfortably so. The service was attentive and spot on. You would never know there was a large party taxing the staff. The food was delicious and memorable. We ended up closing the restaurant, but the sraff did not rush us. The bau sliders and trout were keepers. We will be returning the next time we are in town for a sporting event.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
