Beat meal I have had in years, and I have had some good ones. Staff was friendly and attentive, atmosphere fun and casual. We had the chips and dip, carrots, broccolI, brisket & market fish, and s'mores...but are looking to go back and try more...It is pricey, but if you are a foodie I highly recommen.

One of my favorite restaurants! Ordered 5 items and had 4 top favorites. Detailed breakdown below:**Service, 5/5** We had a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes even though we were a half hour early. Once seated, the staff answered all our questions about the drinks and food, offered suggestions, and brought out the food quickly but one to two at a time for a super well-timed eating experience.**Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** Decor is rustic and, very fittingly, camping themed. The bill holder is a traveler's notebook, which is adorable.**Price & portion, 5/5** A bit on the pricer side, however the ingredients are really high quality and each dish is so expertly cooked and put together. If you had a tasting menu with these items, the price point would be much higher.**Presentation of the food, 5/5** Always stunning!! Everything was beautiful, but I was most impressed at the broccoli surprisingly because it looked like a whole head of broccoli but was actually individual stems, which made it super easy to eat.**Taste of the food, 9999999/5** Could not choose a top favorite because everything was delicious!- Porridge bread, 5/5: The bread had a lot of seeds and had a really hearty flavor + great chew. The butter had charcoal salt which was a fun detail, and was super tasty! - Hamachi crudo, 5/5: The yellowtail was so tender and the slices were so thick. The charred cucumber and watermelon complimented the dish so well and it wasn't too citric at all. - Broccoli, 5/5: Awesome flavor and yummy crispy florets, but in the end it was mostly just broccoli and I probably wouldn't order it again. It was really good with the wagyu skewers though!- Wagyu skewers, 5/5: The skewers came with a lemon and allepo pepper spread, but the wagyu was absolutely perfect on its own. Well seasoned and great flavor, plus extremely tender. - Oysters, 5/5: Warmed but not cooked through -- no fishy smell and so tender. The pickled mushrooms on top weren't too sour, so the oyster was able to really shine. Big fan!- Silencio Bruno cocktail, 4/5: Tasty and fruity! But I'll try something a bit sweeter and more floral next time.**Other notes** Gender neutral restrooms. Free street parking. Highly recommend a reservation.

Their bartenders know what they are doing and are open to making modifications. The food here is absolutely delicious. Once you try the food you'll see where the restaurant got its name. They have a dog friendly, heated patio with fire pits. You must try the s'mores!

Drove all the way down from Northern California to try this restaurant. Loved the trendy interior & the food was really delicious. Especially loved the "chips and dip" with smoked salmon and trout roe - they offered to refill our potato chips too!! Service was very friendly and warm. Would definitely revisit!!

What a fantastic meal and dining experience.The open kitchen concept adds a cool element, getting to see all the wood fire food being made.The food - every single thing we got was as jaw dropping as the previous. The bread paired with the butter was incredible. The oysters were flavorful combined with the pickled mushrooms. The crudo was beautiful and delicious. The artichokes (by far my favorite) packed a punch of flavor with the black garlic aioli. The octopus was PERFECTLY cooked; not chewy at all. So tender. And the market fish (sea bass today) was just as amazing as all of the above.With a constantly changing menu, I can't wait to come back here again the next time I'm in Carlsbad to try some different and new things. What an amazing gem to have in the middle of this town. I highly, highly recommend coming here whether you're visiting Carlsbad from out of town or are a local. This is one of my new favorite restaurants in the San Diego area.Cheers, Campfire. I'll see you again soon.

You know what the most wonderful part is- apart from, obviously, the incredibly delicious food? The staff. The kitchen is not your stereotypical "hell". The chefs and kitchen staff are happy and friendly and clearly are a family. Our waitress Sammy was incredibly thoughtful. For example, when I told her I didn't really taste the smoke of the mezcal in the cocktail, she consulted with the bartender and came back to ask if I'd like to try it with Madre mezcal. They were right- totally got the smoke I wanted. The food was outstanding. It doesn't matter what you get. It will be extraordinary. Congratulations, owner John Resnick. You're so young and have already created a beautiful place to dine and work. Stay humble and keep creating gorgeousness.

This app is filling a void - there's a real market to tap into here. It's just annoying to see some reservations getting sold out here that end up in a no show - the restaurants aren't benefiting in such cases unless they charge a no-show fee. Besides this issue, I'm looking forward to the app community growing and would love to continue to contribute towards it's growth in any way that I can!

Wow! First time using this website/app. It was almost hard to believe the quality of customer service I received as soon as I posted my offer. A private chat forum with me and the person helping me find the best option. Constant communication and a wonderful experience using Appointment Trader. I'm surprised it took me this long to find AT but this will now be my GO TO for hard to get restaurant reservations. It was like having my own private concierge.

My first experience using AT was awesome and the AT support saved the day! When my booking transfer initiated two days earlier but didn't complete by the day of the reservation, AT was able to expedite the transfer and confirm a table at Call Me Gaby in Miami Beach. I highly recommend this service. Reservations sell out in minutes as they become available at this restaurant. I was able to get a table at the exact time we wanted, on a peak weekend night. Amazing!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
