The food and service was great.
A bit pricy but that comes with the overall experience. They would have gotten 5 stars if the tables weren't so close together. I was basically shoulder to shoulder with the people at the table next to me.

What's the BIG DEAL??I can honestly say, seconds after getting off the rooftop elevator, I knew it would be my new favorite spot. The ceiling decor, the dark wood, the VIEWS. This place truly was, a Catch.

The food here at Catch LA was really the only thing that saved us and even then it wasn't that great. Our server seemed like he didn't care to be there, we asked him questions about the food and he couldn't answer any of them with confidence. He told us that he needed to take our full order to be able to course it out correctly. None of our food hit the table at the same time. In between our appetizer and our main course our table was cleared. He brought 2/4 of our members chop sticks and never returned. My friends didn't realize that their food was an appetizer potion so when they got their "main" it took them about five minutes to finish. My entree arrived about ten minutes after the first person got there food and I sat without silverware until I decided to just take them off the table next to us. None of us got to eat our main course together. I think the server was a lot to blame here with his lack of knowledge, and inability to do his job correctly. Very disappointed with this restaurant and probably will never return. For the amount of money you'll spend here please go somewhere where you'll be valued as a paying customer.

The Hellfire roll was amazingggg! the little touch of asian pear brings all the flavors together, im definitely ordering again. the Lobster mac however could be better, it lacks flavor and only has that one piece of lobster. The Sesame Seared Salmon was very yummy though!

Very small portions for the steaks...my husband was still hungry when we left. Cool ambiance, except the service was very average at best. VERY slow...it took over an hour for the food to arrive. Which, in normal situations would have been just fine, but apparently they booked a reservation right after us and had the gall to tell us we couldn't order dessert because they needed to give the table to the next party. Very rude, especially because our bill was over $800. The waiter didn't come to our table for sometimes 20-30 minutes at a time and we had to flag him down often just to get more water, etc. Very disappointing experience. I would definitely go to Mastros for that type of money instead...we will not be going back.
Our waiter forgot that we had a birthday in our party and he didn't even care or say sorry about forgetting. Overpriced food for what you get and our waiter kept blaming his mistakes on the other employees.

I went here for a friend's birthday and I was so excited.
I heard a lot of amazing things about this place from others and online, so I couldn't wait to go. Walking in, there's an elevator and beautiful open pathway with a nice view and flower arch. When I went, it was during sunset and had the MOST stunning view I've seen at a restaurant in a while. However, the restaurant itself was fairly dimly lit (at least in the evening). Now, I went with a big group and that may have contributed to the service experience, but we also went with a course meal and it was pre-planned for a birthday celebration. Throughout the meal, service was pretty slow and not very responsive on checking up on us. We also had multiple entrees and appetizers and I thought that most of them were okay to meh/bad. The rolls were okay. It definitely felt white-washed and not very authentic if I had to say and the rest of the food was too salty according to multiple of my friends and I. The only dish I liked was the crispy shrimp (and desserts weren't bad too). The experience of the place and ambiance was pretty nice, but overall, I don't think it was worth it nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The ambiance is what sells the restaurant, absolutely beautiful place to take pictures. Great for couples especially because of it's dark aesthetic. The service was slow but they were really busy so I don't want to hold it against them. Also, the food was cold. Seafood here is amazing but I don't recommend anything else. The steak tasted FUNKY to say the least. Bar is small and cute, good place to talk. Worth a try!

I had the pleasure of trying out this place in Las Vegas
I had the pleasure of trying out this place in Las Vegas and ever since then, I have been craving it since . Their truffle sashimi is an absolute delight and exceeded my expectations. We also ordered other dishes and I must say that I enjoyed all of them. The food quality was top-notch and left me wanting more. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you're ever in the area.
Best service, best atmosphere, best food, you cannot beat this place! Every attention to detail was taken care of, the service is impeccable Tapley was an amazing waiter!! Best bar staff, best wait staff, best host staff anywhere!!
🤮
The young girl in the front was rude to start it off.
However, the ambiance was cute, the food was overpriced and not very good.

VEGAN REVIEW Beautiful ambiance! But bring reading glasses
VEGAN REVIEW Beautiful ambiance! But bring reading glasses &/or prepare to use your phone flashlight to read the tiny print menu LOL Service is mixed... it's a busy restaurant, so it's hard to get your server's attention. Note they will not seat you until everyone e in your party arrives, unless you can order for the absent guests. NOW THE FOOD. For vegans, there is absolutely NO PROTEIN. The vegan menu depends solely on mushrooms & avocado. We got Brussels sprouts, fried cauliflower, veggie roll, kale salad. The food was FINE, but I expected a lot more for the $200 we paid.$20 valet. Just do it, parking is a mess down there!

The food was so good! And the ambiance was even better! I was so pleased with the service we had a little problem with one of ours meals and they made it up to us so well! Love this place! Great place for a night out!

We came for dinner on a Saturday night.
The entrance is beautiful and lives up to the hype - definitely makes for stunning photos if that's what you're looking for. We waited over 20 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. I understand the restaurant is very busy but this seemed to be a common theme - when leaving we overheard a man asking why they hadn't been seated since he they noticed multiple tables had recently finished. I also noticed a table for 2 not far from us that remained empty the entire time we were there. Some of the food was excellent while others were less impressive. Tuna rice cakes were a solid staple. Hellfire roll was tasty - spicy for those who enjoy a kick but didn't taste any pear in it. Baked King Crab hand rolls were served warm and tasted like mayo more than anything else. Lobster Mac and Cheese was tasty except for the breading on top which was extremely salty and reminiscent of Mrs. Dash. Sauteed Snapper was bland, didn't see or taste any lobster in the mash potatoes which also lacked flavor. The black truffle purée was tasty but very minimal so didn't improve the overall dish much. We also ordered a Catch roll and it didn't arrive until after our plates/utensils had been cleared and dessert offered (they must have forgotten about it) so we passed on it. Had the Carnival for dessert which looked a lot better than it tasted - ricotta donuts weren't warm and the dipping sauces were cold . Good but not great. Our server was polite, quick and to the point. Always seemed to be in a hurry and also gently pushing us to move along as well.
🤮
Poor experience due to weather and extended wait times even
Poor experience due to weather and extended wait times even with a reservation. We had reservations but we were told to wait 30-40 minutes out to get a table. I understand you can't control the weather but they should of let us know they were way behind reservations and seating people because patio spaces weren't able to be used. Hostesses were rude and didn't working something out after losing 15 mins of waiting. Thankfully this was our second restaurant of the night and celebrated our Birthday dinner elsewhere.
🤮
Arrogant and class-less
I waited 55 minutes for my table that I reserved 2 weeks before Some arrogant bouncer asked me not to follow up with reception and just wait at the bar for when my table is ready Atmosphere is loud, ok, full of “professional” girls
Amazing experience. The food was amazing, and the service impeccable. The branzino was to die for!! And we ended the meal with some divine chocolate dessert!
🤮
Good but won't come back
Good food but the way you are welcome and the service doesn't make you feel good. We are French and we're not used to such a poor service. We arrived 5 minutes late and the guy at the entrance told us our table has been given to someone else with a tone we really didn't appreciate. 1 minute later, the other guy told us that finally they had a table for us, as if we should have felt forever thankful for being able to eat in this restaurant. The dishes don't arrive at the same time so nobody eats together. You have almost nothing to eat in your plate and it's very expensive. The food is good but that's not enough to make us come back. We didn't know catch before tonight and we will forget it very quickly. Other places in L.A. offer very good food and make you feel welcome.
basically sushi tapas style. the food was delicious and tasted so fresh. highly recommend the octopus, salmon carpaccio, and the tartare trio. service was great, only downside was having to wait at the bar for 20 minutes for our reserved table.
😍
Delicious rooftop seafood restaurant
The food was delicious, especially the roasted branzino, Spanish octopus, little gem Caesar salad and the hit me chocolate cake. The service was great. We sat on the terrace which was quiet. Some reviews complained about having to wait but we were seated right away.

Beautiful Rooftop Restaurant and Bar
My girlfriends and I had brunch at Catch LA. The restaurant/bar is beautiful and is located in West Hollywood. Great ambience. The restaurant offered a nice selection of entrees including vegan and gluten free entrees. We enjoyed our entrees (salad, burger/fries, avocado toast, white egg omelette and truffle french fries) Prices are reasonable. Service was good. I would definitely recommend a visit to Catch LA for an enjoyable dining experience.
the outdoor area is so serene and beautiful with plenty of spots for great pictures!

I've come to Catch LA a few times already and it's never disappointed! The vibes are super chill, the food is great, and the views are phenomenal. My partner and I came here for lunch and we ordered a handful of items to share. Holy moly, EVERYTHING was amazing! We got a roll (my partner's fav), salmon carpaccio (my fav), lobster mac and cheese, and truffle fries. The drinks we ordered were also great! It was my partner's first time here and he was so happy to be there. This place is great!

This is one of those spots that check all the boxes of an LA tourist visit. Great atmosphere, great views, great cocktails, great potential to see someone famous. Truthfully, you could forgive them if the food was subpar.Yet, its not. Its excellent. We ordered for the table, and the favorites were easily the Caesar salad (I'm not even a salad person!) and the crispy shrimp. Great flavors cleanly organized! We also got the filet skewers, which were divine but quite a small serving size. The sushi roll was perfectly normal but not a standout - I definitely recommend sticking to the Catch Classics or getting your waiters recommendations. The lobster mac & cheese was very delicious but I would have liked more lobster in it! The noodles and cheese were the perfect carb to round out the meal, though! The cocktails were yummy and didn't taste particularly strong, though you expect that when you're ordering something fruity. Altogether, expect the price to match the vibe. Its fun, its luxe, yet you can get a same day table. Definitely one to consider when you're in town!

Ambiance is A+, the lobby outside of the elevator is a haven for influencers in the wild watching. Sat outside and had a great view of the Hollywood hills, beautiful at golden hour. The crispy rice cakes were great, as well as the A5 waygu cooked at the table. Each piece cooks for about 12-15 seconds a side and ready to eat. Fun experience, would return.

Been here many times and this time took some friends who have never been and we got the worst service. When we arrive and checked in they asked us to wait at the bar area and as we are standing there a lady was throwing up and got it all over some guy standing at the bar that wasn't even with her party and there was all this commotion when they realized what was going on and when it finally calmed down and they sat us our server was very short not welcoming at all. She took our order for water and drinks and totally ignored us and when she finally came back to take our food order came off very rude and snappy. Not sure if it's your gimmick to up-sale but if you ask for bottle water they make sure to fill up everyone's glasses so they can go through at least two when I clearly only ordered one. Overall her attitude ruin our vibe and we were not happy and would never come back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Tapley was an absolute sweetheart!! I flew all the way from Boston to treat my sister for her 30th birthday at Catch for her first time & he made it so warm, welcoming, fun, & special. He is such an incredible server. He deserves all the hype!!! Would NOT have been as amazing of an experience without his charisma!! octopus & expresso martini was amazing!! Even gave us casamigos shots for her birthday! Shoutout to tapley!! Ask for him- he's amaZing!! Thank you CATCH & thank you TAPLEY

Great food and great service and great Ambiance.
Quite accommodating, we booked for 4, but we turned up 5, they make effort to accommodate us on a bigger table. Food was great and service was great. Overall a good experience.

Catch in New York is one of my very favorite restaurants so when I finally got the chance to visit the Los Angeles location I had very high expectations. The good news is they didn't disappoint! From service at the front door to the table, we were treated lovely. Service was on point, and the food was absolutely delicious as expected. What I love about this location is the design with skylights and the cozy decor. You don't really feel like you're sitting in a bustling restaurant, it's more like kicking back in a lovely garden enjoying the company of your friends. They don't have a ton of plants around, it's just something about the ambience that's very relaxing. Can't wait to get back!

honestly it's really over hyped, and your really paying for scenery and if your looking to eat an actual meal this isn't really the place. Pretty much finger food and sharing is recommended
Went for Saturday brunch. Had reservations. Checked in downstairs and given directions to get upstairs. Awesome rooftop views and was seated immediately. Knowledgeable servers. Started with the Catch roll. It was great! I had the steak and eggs. Steak cooked to perfection with chimichurri sauce and perfect sunny side up eggs. Also had the grilled jumbo shrimp. So much flavor. Some of the best shrimp i’ve eaten. Ended the meal with the Hit Me cake. Very cool presentation and tasted even better! We will be back!
😍
Great setting, vibrant and fantastic food
Absolutely fantastic experience from the minute we arrived, staff we’re so friendly and helpful. Our server recommended how many dishes were best suited for our party of four and he was spot on. Food and cocktails amazing, we throughly enjoyed our evening. Thank you

Racial Profiling is not Classy
Catch LA a place known for its elegant atmosphere and pleasant service, turned out to be an absolute letdown. I entered Catch LA today wearing my tailored fitted shorts when the apparently Fashion adept hostess halted my entry by calling them baggy. To my shock, I asked her what about them was baggy? To be clear there was no clear signage of dress code presented in the restaurant. The hostess then snidely suggest that I travel to The Beverly Center to purchase a new pair which is two miles away. After our back and forth, she said “ she’ll let it slide this time”. I felt uncomfortable and extremely unwelcome after this incident at a supposedly upper-class restaurant. After reading the other reviews I was not surprised to have experienced this racial profiling as I am a black male; especially after they let a white male in wearing a full tracksuit. It’s safe to say this is definitely not a catch in LA.

Taylor went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. Her bubbly personality and great customer service was really refreshing. Our food was good and the server was attentive. The music and overall restaurant vibe was very enjoyable but it was Taylor who treated us like royalty and really made our night!
called to ask if i can bring my dog outside, extremely rude "woman" on the line and could not even allow me to sit outside with him on a patio. she even hung up the phone without saying anything. really rude and unprofessional.

Don’t be fooled by the velvet rope at the entrance. Even by L.A. standards this is an overpriced tourist trap with mediocre food and even worse service. We’re locals and joined a friend for hopefully nice conversation over a nice dinner in a class joint. Nope. The staff was obviously instructed to turn tables fast because we were told by our server that for “efficiency “ we should order everything at once, an old restaurant thick. Judging by the speed or food came out it was certainly pre-prepared and waiting under a heat lamp. Busboys hovered like flies waiting to snatch our plates. Server, Marco, never came back to check on us. No wiping the table between courses. Table was disgustingly sticky. 2 cocktails, 2 apps, 1 entree, 1 dessert, and 2 coffees came to $276.
😍
Mother's Day Brunch was great
We had a nice Mother's Day brunch at Catch LA. Food was delicious, but only wish that the French toast with blueberry compote came with more blueberries as there were only a couple of teaspoons scattered about. Also wish that they had poured us a second cup of coffee during the meal (coffee offered after we were done dining). However, overall, we had a great time and all five of us enjoyed the brunch, especially our daughter who loved her avocado toast. Paid parking on the street. Valet parking doesn't start until late afternoon.
😍
I cannot think of a better brunch then at Catch.
Let's start with the scene as you walk in. A floral garden walkway greets you as you enter the space. Perfect for pictures and be sure to snap them quickly. We were seated in the main area. The panoramic view allows light to flow through the space overlooking LA as you dine. Start your brunch with the Moët flight. The food is served in portions to share with those at your table. Try the cinnamon pancakes and turkey sausage. I've been here enough to try most of the brunch menu. You can't go wrong. Sushi rolls, mushroom spaghetti, and the steak and eggs are great eats too. Love this place.
😍

Had some friends make surprise reservations here and boy was I glad ! It was my first time dining here and I enjoyed it through and through! Had some laughs with the waiter. Ordered some wine, my man got the eggs and steak and of course I stole some it was delicious! Too good I couldn't snag a picture with it. The poke bowl was so delicious as I'm writing this review I am craving it again! Even the water in this place was smooth and delicious. Maybe because the tap water in the valley isn't the best, but that water was so smooth and perfect. Totally a place worth the price. Fun vibes, great food good wine and amazing cocktails!
Went on a Saturday night couple weeks ago with my girlfriend. The buzz around LA is that this is one of the hot spots. Great active environment with suitable music. The booths were very comfortable! Had a couple different rolls and the bass, very well prepared (as it should be for the price). Not cheap but not crazy expensive. Will visit again when in LA.
