My brother recommended this place and it did not disappoint. The views were great and service was excellent. The food was mostly good too. The only thing I didn't really like was ox cheek doughnut. Was super sad the soufflé with good reviews wasn't available. Only reason took 1 star off was because when we got there still had to wait about 30ish minutes for the table even with a reservation. They gave a cute birthday cake since we were going for my birthday!
Popped in on the off chance of a bar snack or two with a friend, really accommodating as I didn’t have a booking, let the choose our bar snacks and they were all great tasting and really well presented, and the views are stunning!
I was really impressed, it far exceeded my expectations. The service, the food and the location with spectacular views of London was all very impressive. I will definitely be coming back!
😍
Incredible food and outstanding service
The most incredible food and service. The Sunday roast is the best in london and trust me, I have tried them all. I can’t wait to take my friends back here soon. Great attentive staff too!!
😍
Duck and Waffle is a must-visit restaurant with outstanding food, impeccable service, and a warm atmosphere
Firstly, I must compliment the food. The dishes I tried were all delicious, with creative and unique combinations of flavors that were truly mind-blowing. The menu features a range of options, from small plates to larger main courses, all of which are made from the finest ingredients and cooked to perfection. One particular standout was the duck and waffles dish, which is undoubtedly a crowd favorite. The combination of crispy waffles and tender duck meat was absolutely divine, and I could not get enough of it. In addition to the food, I must also praise Chef Max. He is a true master in the culinary arts, and his passion and dedication for cooking is reflected in his dishes. It's clear that he puts a lot of thought and effort into each dish he creates, and this really shows in the quality of the food. The restaurant itself is also something to write home about. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. The service was impeccable, with the staff always on hand to answer any questions and make recommendations. Overall, I cannot recommend Duck and Waffle highly enough. The food is outstanding, the chef is incredible, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends, you will not be disappointed with this restaurant. Thank you, Duck and Waffle, for a truly unforgettable dining experience.
🙂
We will repeat experience
The place is very nice, the food is correct and the views are impressive. The attention was very nice.

Our first stop to catch our bearings once arriving in London. Waffles were creative and crispy, service was stellar, and the views were spectacular. We will have to back for the Sunday roast!
Good and service are top notch!!!! Can't wait to go back. The food was exquisite and the drinks were flowing. And not to mention the view...oh the view! All around great time.
😍
Great and welcoming - and good food
A nice drink in the bar, based on the recommendation of the friendly waiter, was a perfect start for the evening. When we made a reservation for the restaurant, we asked for a table at the window, which we were kindly given. The food was excellent and the service was great and very friendly. As it was my birthday, they surprised me with a small birthday cake which was served on a beautifully decorated plate.
I stopped by for a dinner. The experience was very pleasant and wonderful. Very kind staff first of all. Food was extraordinary - I recommend Polenta starter and definitely tartar with a wine pairing!
Stellar staff that helped check my pram for my 2 year old. Amazing servers all evening super attentive and last but not least AMAZING food!!! I will be coming again 100%!
😍
Food was absolutely incredible.
Very creative menu. The view from the skyscraper is phenomenal. Good service, and I was surprised that it did not cost more!
😍
Love from the first bite
Amazing service and the view from the venue. I absolutely recommend the iconic duck & waffle dish as well as the octopus if you fancy to experience the delicious food to the fullest!
🤢
STAFF VERY INCONSISTENT!
As mentioned in several reviews, the seating is a lottery! We booked a table initially for 5 but sadly 1 couldn’t attend due to illness, it was also a birthday treat from my son. We were greeted by a very pleasant concierge and we were shown to a table that should only really accommodate 3 people max and looking around the restaurant this was the case. Sadly, it does seem to be about yield and not comfort. We commented to the lady who seated us ‘would it be possible to move to one of the ‘booths’ which was literally next to our table’ and in quite an arrogant tone she responded with ‘NO’ its booked out for 6! It was swiftly laid up for 4?! After waiting sometime to order drinks, a very pleasant waitress came over and we asked the same question about moving to the booth..she didn’t hesitate and said ‘of course, no problem’ it seems as though certain staff just can’t be bothered and don’t like to be questioned about seating. Our waiter/waitress were absolutely delightful and were a credit to D&W its such a shame when certain staff have the attitude of ‘take what you’re given!’ The food was superb though and the views across London were fabulous! We would most definitely go back but request a particular table as it is meant to be a pleasurable experience.
😍
Fabulous views and amazing food - definitely worth it!
Take the elevator up to the 39th floor and enjoy a great experience at height! beautiful decor, fabulous views, great service and amazing food will greet you when you arrive at the top. We went for dinner at sunset which was a perfect time to watch the sun go down above the city. There is a great choice of wine which could have been difficult to choose from if it wasn't for the expertise of the sommelier. The menu wasn't large but it was still hard to make a choice as it all sounded so good. The corn bread was tasty to start and the harissa roasted lamb belly was deliciously good. For dessert we chose the ice cream as something lighter and it was quite simply the tastiest ice cream I think I've ever had - beautiful! Even though it was busy, the service was excellent and we would highly recommend a visit.

Came here for an early morning breakfast.
The view is impressive, yes. The food and service, not so much. Ordered the eggs Florentine and the whites were snotty. My wife ordered the duck cocotte, which was swimming in grease. Gross on both counts. Our waitress never came to check up on us and told me that "that's the way poached eggs are" when I pointed it out to her before we got the bill. The manager did take the cocotte off, but the general attitude is that they are doing you a favor by deigning to let you eat here.
Incredible view. Fun atmosphere. Attentive servers and talented kitchen staff. Check out the Sunday Roast! Best meal I've ever had. Will definitely be going back.
😍
5* service all round from Daniel and Michal
We visited Duck & Waffle for an early breakfast on Tuesday 7th March and were quite simply blown away by the entire experience! We had the pleasure of being looked after by Daniel and Michal and they couldn’t have done anymore for us from the minute we arrived; attentive, went the extra mile, and even threw a few surprises in along the way. The food was delicious, well worth the money, and if you need a recommendation, you have to go for the iconic ‘Duck & Waffle’ dish itself! It was my friend’s first time experiencing D&W and she is already asking to go back so the place speaks for itself really! Plus, the 360° views a bonus too… what more could you ask for!?
😍
Possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had.
We entered the great glass elevator up at around 1115 on Sunday for some breakfast (prebook weekends recommend), blinking away the ghost of cocktails past. My jacket had just been nicked by some chancing blighter and a 15 minute 4° walk rendered my nipples and I prickly. We were delivered to our window table, the level view of the Gherkin’s imposing tip and equally impressive smiles from the staff had all three of us at ease once more. The 40th floor was impressive, it seemed everyone was just extraordinary happy to be there, infectious really. We ordered the Duck and Waffle, Smoked Salmon Royal, a few bacon wrapped dates and a couple of cocktails. Although it was busy, the food appeared nilly dally and piping hot, accompanied with additional smiles and just one more zesty cocktail things. As you can imagine, every morsel on the plate looked ravishing and was beautifully cooked, it didn’t deserve to face a predatory me in its final moments, but I’m glad it made the effort. I won’t describe the taste as it would be as rotten as telling you that the blond one dies at the end of Game of Thrones, you should really find that out for yourself. However, I will say that from the long history of breakfasts I have pushed through my face, this one has been the most memorable and unfortunately for ducks, the one I most wish to do so again. Go, don’t look back, or down.
I went to D&W with some friends for a Sunday brunch. We have been welcomed at the bar and then seated in the dining room. Even if they weren’t able to give us a table next to the window it was still a wonderful feeling to have brunch there. I think D&W is the best place to have brunch with friends and families
Wow, what a place! Everything was excellent, from the welcome, to the service, to the food presentation, choice and taste. The signature duck and waffle dish is so good that I am already planning to return asap. The Ox Cheek doughnut was also excellent. First visit but definitely not the last.

Decent London restaurant to get a view that isn't too
Decent London restaurant to get a view that isn't too expensive given the comfort-food menu and portions not too big. It's at the top of the Salesforce building and a couple blocks from Liverpool station and the Eataly.Servers were extremely busy in the initial dinner rush so you should be ready to order. Not the best place for a family with younger kids, but a very good place for a date or small group of friends. Fried pig ear was too hard, best to stick with the familiar dishes, which they do a solid job of executing.
Visited for drinks, the rose Prosecco was so lovely and then the cocktail was gorgeous. Our server was so friendly and helpful. We missed dinner elsewhere as we were enjoying ourselves so much. Views over London stunning!!!

Food and drinks: 3/5 A relative small menu.
Got the Duck and Waffle - it's good but I wasn't impressed. Duck was crispy on the outside and pretty tender inside. But the portion was quite small. Definitely not full after this dish. Nice selection of drinks. Got the "tropic of conversation" (passion fruit liqueur, pineapple, triple sec, champagne) - very citrusy and refreshing but the drink felt almost watered down. Service: 4/5 Zero complaints but also nothing stood out. Courteous staff. We were seated in a corner high top table so it took us a while (about 10 minutes) to get our waiter's attention to place the order. Of note, there is complementary coat check downstairs when you first enter. Ambiance: 4/5Bustling space! You take the elevator to the 39th floor and then take the spiral staircase up. The first area you will see is the bar and lounge area. Past that is the actual restaurant with an open kitchen. View is incredible! But for me, the music was too loud and it had more a bar/club vibe than an elegant dining space vibe. Cost: 3/5 Maybe I'm not yet used to London prices but two entrees plus one drink cost us about £80. Would be happy to pay this premium price for the amazing view had I been full. But I was not even close to feeling full after spending this much!
🙂
The duck & waffles were amazing! The portions are pretty
The duck & waffles were amazing! The portions are pretty small, so I would personally recommend getting 1-2/person for the table in family style. The view was amazing with the skyline & amazing interior! Definitely a good date spot or brunch spot for mimosas. The service was a bit slow, not sure if that's the American in me, but overall I would definitely recommend to friends & family who are visiting the area.
😍
Enjoyed a birthday lunch here.
Spectacular views, food was exquisite and the staff are attentive. We were even offered a complimentary glass of prosecco to enjoy in the bar after our lunch was over. Thank you! Highly recommended and will bring coming back again soon.
We got our friend a birthday cupcake and the manager ordered the waiter to come and tell us that they will have to charges us if she continues to eat it…
🙂
The British roscoes chicken and waffle.
Nothing extraordinary but the food is good, view is nice, and they have a nice bar.

One of the things I could improve upon in my tactics for
One of the things I could improve upon in my tactics for identifying places to eat in new cities is my process for finding breakfast places. More often than not, restaurants that serve breakfast just don't end up on top restaurant lists. Constantly tweaking my strategy, but I did manage to find this place, Duck & Waffle. This place is like the Waffle House of London. It's open 24/7. That's fact that I find incredible. There needs to be more places like that. So we came around at like 8AM, rode the dedicated elevator up to the 40th floor, and walked through the labyrinthian dining rooms to our table, with an incredible view of the city. My picture won't do it any justice. I recommend you go look at others' photos of the view. It really is something special. So this place had the style. Did it have the substance? Spoilers, yes. I had to order the flagship item, the Duck & Waffle (crispy leg confit, fried duck egg, mustard maple syrup). Believe it or not, I've had duck & waffles before, so I was interested to be able to compare. The outside of this duck leg was So crispy. It was borderline duck brittle. But a bit bite of that with the extremely moist and flavorful meat inside, oh my, it was heaven. The waffle was nothing special, but the duck egg with the runny yolk made this a whole dish. A little of this, a little of that, some syrup here, some syrup there. Very delicious, very satisfying. I was a fan.I also got to try the Lemon Meringue Waffle (lemon curd, Italian meringue, lemon sorbet, dill). I love temperature-play. That blank slate waffle was covered in a beautiful meringue. And then they plopped a dollop of ice cold sorbet right in the middle of everything. The hot waffle, the cold sorbet, the curd making everything pop with lemon. Really fun. Not my cup of tea, I'll take that duck, but it was good. Overall, this place was beautiful, fun, and delicious. The trifecta. If you come to London for any reason, you must come here.
Outstanding views as always - the missus couldn’t stop taking pictures of the views (we were there from 10.45pm). The lobster Mac n Cheese was bursting with flavours. You can’t go wrong with the classic Duck & Waffle itself. The staff were warm and welcoming and professional to its highest degree. Lovely cocktails too. Missus loved her little birthday dessert and they sang
😍
I thought Duck & Waffle was just fabulous! I went there
I thought Duck & Waffle was just fabulous! I went there once with family during the daytime and another as a romantic date night. I love that going at different times gives you a completely different experience. The classic duck & waffle was delicious as well as the mousse-y foie gras after smearing it on their bread.I wish I remembered the drink names but all of the cocktails were pretty and tasted refreshing. The blue sparkly one was my favorite!
😍
Great friendly atmosphere
After a busy day in the galleries and the theatre, our bar bite and cocktail at this super place could not have ended our day better. We were very well looked after and the drinks and Duck and Waffle plates went down a treat, original and delicious. The views are stunning.....even from the lift! Congratulations on the very relaxed but professional atmosphere.

LOOOL looking back this was the funniest dinner experience
LOOOL looking back this was the funniest dinner experience for my europe trip-so u obvs come for the view, but if u get sat in the middle, like us, u get like no view pretty much which is funny.. seems like most of the window seats are only for parties of two, so like dates, so for our group of 3 big L no chance-menus kinda wack/weird which is fine im all for weird food but it ended up tasting so bad like no one even wanted to finish it LOL, which is rare. the ox doughnuts or someth were straight up raw, had to send it back, even though they even had to "check w the chef" first and still tried to tell me "thats how the dish is supposed to be". super weird sweet sauce that just did not go w it.the foie gras creme bruelee was alright but just too rich w no balancing/relief fries were good only cuz everyth else sucked LOL anyways fun experience cuz novel but overall actually sucks and expensive if u dont even get the view lol..which also u put down a deposit for reservation but dont even find out where ur gna be sat till ur there when its too late to back out
😍
Amazing food! Great customer service!
The food is amazing! *Chef kiss* The customer service here is also amazing , especially from Viktorija . Super friendly! And make this dining experience much more fun and comfortable. She even have the surprise congratulations dessert for my upcoming graduation. Such a sweet soul! Will definitely come back again!
Wow…the views are fabulous! We chose cocktails from a great list and they were presented quickly and tasted delicious …almost too delicious! All-in-all, a superb venue and one to return to!
😍
Much more than just an amazing view!
At first I was wondering is this the kind of venue that relies on its view - let’s just clear that up it does not! We came here to celebrate my birthday and I honestly had the best evening of our stay in London! There’s a great vibe in the whole restaurant it is busy but I loved it! It just felt happy! I can’t thank our waiter Nick enough (I hope we have his name correct very tall and full of energy!) he made sure every little detail was taken care of even bringing me a little gluten free cake and singing! The view is absolutely beautiful but I didn’t think it relied just on this the food was also amazing! Lots of choice for gluten free including the amazing waffles! I honestly had a lovely time and have already recommended to many others! Thanks for making it a night to remember!

This was our first restaurant in London, we had friends who came here and highly recommended this place. It is a bit hard to find, you have to walk into the lobby and take the elevator up. In our elevator ride, there was a girl who said she loves coming here but not for the food.... just for the view. And she came in, sat and ordered tea while she enjoyed the view. We were seated right next to the window and the view was AMAZING. Lots of other people would get up and take pictures against the window right behind me as I ate. They were smart for leaving spaces in between the tables along the window so people can still enjoy the view. Service: 4/5Our server was very kind. When we asked for recommendations he did not hesitate to recommend the bacon wrapped figs. We took his recommendation. Here's what we ordered:-Bacon wrapper figs: 5/5This was my favorite thing we ordered here, thank you to our server for the great recommendation. It was savory and delicious with a creamy inside filling. -Spicy ox cheek donut: 3/5I had high hopes but was disappointed. The spicy ox cheek was good, but the sauce on the side was sweet which I did not like and accidentally dtly put too much on my half of the donut. -Garlic and rosemary bread: 4/5/5I was bummed there was no bread for the table so we ordered this. It was like a naan bread and was smaller than I thought it was be. -Duck and waffle: 3.5/5This Is what the restaurant was named after so it had to be good! I thought the duck was very dry, but the skin was nice and crispy. I looked forward to bites with the crispy skin in it. The small quail egg was a nice touch as well. Overall, Duck and Waffle had an amazing view, great service but the food was overpriced.

It's a fun place, but...

Clearly you are paying for the view. We first entered the bar area and were invited to have a seat while we waited for our table. The bar staff was very nice, but we all agreed that the drinks were incredibly weak! When our table was ready we were seated in the middle where the view is a bit lost. The main restaurant (as well as the bar) look much bigger in the pictures than they really are. The room is quite loud and very chaotic. Giuseppe, our waiter, managed the chaos very well. He was very nice and adaptable to our needs. The food was very good, but the waffles seemed premade and reheated. This is a fun place if you want to say that you've been there, but probably not a place for a repeat visit.
😒
Just Meh! Beautiful views and this is what you are paying for...
The food was OK, nothing exceptional. The decor was outdated, the floors need replacing. The views are amazing and the best part about this restaurant.
I was there today with a friend and everything was great, the service was perfect, the food was delicious and the view was incredible... a big thank you to taslima and the manager Michael… see you soon 🥰

Amazing Father’s Day Brunch
We had a wonderful time here at Duck & Waffle celebrating Father’s Day! The food was outstanding, the service - so attentive, the London skyline views - amazingly stunning, and we even received a complementary dessert to celebrate the occasion. Absolutely worth the trip all in all and can’t wait to come back!
🤮
Awful service/experience. Still waiting for refund!
Absolutely shocked by the poor experience and service last weekend on my birthday. We had paid a £20 deposit per person as that was the min spend. Both of us ordered a breakfast and then a waffle. After 45 mins the breakfast still hadn’t arrived. The waitress said she “didn’t put the order through quick enough”. Finally the breakfast part arrived, and the food was good. After we had finished we sat there waiting for another 30 mins waiting for our waffles. We were in a hurry given the table reservation was only for an hour and half anyway as stated online, so we had made other birthday plans for after that time. We asked the waitress if the waffles were coming and she said “I haven’t put them through yet”. At which point we asked for the bill as we couldn’t wait any longer. When the bill arrived we were told there was a min spend of £40 (which had already been paid), and what we had didn’t equal that so were asked if we wanted to order more! In fact, we had tried to order more earlier and the waitress chose not to put the order through. At that point, I asked to speak to the manager. He came over and agreed we could pay the £31.78 we actually owed but rather than just refund £8.22, we would have to pay the full £31.78 additionally to the £40 deposit and he would refund the £40, which would be with us within 3 working days. A full working week later and we are still waiting for the £40 refund!! They have now had £71.78 from us on a £31.78 bill. Would like to hear back from someone immediately what is going on and when we will get our money back. Ruined my birthday :(
😍
Great experience! Had reservations here for my fiancé's
Great experience! Had reservations here for my fiancé's birthday for the view and it was amazing! Amongst three of us, we tried the duck and waffle, lamb, Mac n cheese, scallops, and cornbread. Everythinggggg was tasty! My favorite was the duck and waffle- much tastier than the traditional chicken and waffle. Everything we tried at the bar was very aesthetically pleasing and good as well. Highly recommend :)

Overpriced seems to be a running theme in London but maybe
Overpriced seems to be a running theme in London but maybe I'm just spoiled. Duck and Waffle is a highly sought after reservation for drinks and food and with the view it has, it's hard to argue. Situated on the 40th floor, you get a fantastic view of London which is really what you're paying for.We came for lunch and ordered a bunch of things to share. The namesake duck and waffle is by far the best dish and probably the best value. The dish comes with a duck confit leg and half a waffle for 24 GBP. While it's pricey, the flavors are spot on and probably the best value. The BBQ pig ears were also a great snack. Stay away from the breads since it's essentially 8 GBP for a pita with sauce on it. The worst thing we ordered was the lobster mac and cheese - at a whopping 35 GBP for a serving that rivals your large KFC side, it was supremely disappointing with bland flavors and literally 3 nuggets of lobster that likely didn't add up to more than 2 ounces. You're better off ordering the mini lobster roll for 18 GBP if you like lobster.Flavors of food are actually pretty good but this is borderline rip off territory in terms of value. The service here is pretty good though and the views are stunning. I would come once for the experience and never return.
🙂
Duck and Waffle was the first place i ate immediately i
Duck and Waffle was the first place i ate immediately i touched down at Heathrow smh. Nice location, amazing views of London. The duck was good and flavorful the waffle unmemorable. The waffle is pre made and for a restaurant with a namesake waffle that was a huge disappointment. It was an afterthought, drinks were cool tho, and service was nice, and prompt since we had less than an hr to eat and had to catch a train.
🙂
What a place, I'll say it again WHAT A PLACE to get great
What a place, I'll say it again WHAT A PLACE to get great food at 4am. Apparently Duck & Waffle is open 24 hours on the weekends which is completely insane. London has so much to offer and this is high up there on the list. The Colombian Eggs were fantastic but the Ox cheek donut stole the show. Ended it with the duck & waffle obviously and it was amazing. I need to go during the day when I'm not tipsy so I can really see how the food holds up hahaha. Amazing restaurant with a great view, can't wait to come back
😍
This is interesting place and great food restaurants.
their service quality was so good.staff are very friendly

Amazing restaurant with insane views of London! I booked
Amazing restaurant with insane views of London! I booked online about two weeks ahead of time for my friend's birthday dinner and this place did not disappoint. The food was great and the views were even better. Service was quick as well, and even though the restaurant was packed solid, we never felt rushed.
