We enjoyed the outdoor patio seating with heaters and the night time lights. The four of us agreed that the food was excellent and that we would come back for the food.However the service was terrible. We agreed that it was the worst service we had had in many months, and we all eat out frequently. The waiter basically ignored us. He came to table and never asked if we wanted something to drink. He took our order for appetizers. We had to flag him down to order and get drinks. We told him initially we were ordering appetizers and entrees. We again had to wait a while to get his attention to order entrees. Fortunately someone else from kitchen delivered our foods to table while hot. We needed some serving spoons for the entrees since we were sharing all of them - after waiting I walked thru restaurant until I found all their silverware and found some big spoons myself. Person that cleared table brought dessert menus. Once again we waited a long time and finally got his attention to order dessert. It seemed he was doing everything he could to avoid ever coming to or looking at our table. The only time he ever smiled a little was when he laid the check on table. Considering how nice everything else was at this restaurant, that waiter should not be working there. We observed another waitress who was very nice and frequently checking on her tables.

This restaurant was cute and very much tucked away, it's truly a hidden gem. You have to walk through an alley way between buildings to get inside the restaurant. At around 5, we walked in for 4. They were already buzzing with business but we were able to get a table. The food was delicious, the wine selections were extensive. Their staff was attentive and helpful, overall an experience that's worth going back for. Thank you for a great time, I hope to be back soon!

I was looking forward to this dinner with my boyfriend to celebrate Valentines and all we got was overpriced experience and passive aggressiveness from our server. Originally when I booked this reservation, I was intrigued by the "exclusive Valentines menu" for $125 PER person only to realize later it was the same exact menu just mixed and matched with each other with SIGNIFICANT different price points. Only maybe a couple items were different. I can understand the slight up charge for the special occasion but this was just not right. On top of that our server, I was really trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and say that she probably just has had a rough day or something but the passive aggressiveness was a bit much. We didn't feel treated the same as the rest of the guests. I still left a tip because I felt guilty to not leave one but honestly I didn't even wish to have paid for this poor quality food. Overall to describe our experience is - food portions small for the price- overpriced experience- bland food- "bEsT VaLeNtInEs EvEr"

Warm, welcoming, elevated yet unfussy atmosphere, lovely decor, friendly and unobtrusive service, extensive wine list, and tasty food. Perfect for both dates and groups. The tables both inside and out are nicely spaced, the lighting is tasteful (including candles at night), and there are lots of heat lamps outside.As for food, we really enjoyed the burrata (beautiful combination of flavors and textures) and the pappardelle with braised duck (the duck was tender and tasty, and the noodles were perfectly al dente). The mushroom bolognese was slightly sour (from the tomatoes), but the zucchini noodles were impressive. We can't wait to come back and try other dishes.

Simply outstanding hospitality!I clearly was in desperate straits when I arrived with my hungry toddler, and they delivered my al dente pasta, bread, and dessert lightning fast per my request. The hostess even offered me a glass of spumante in empathy for my dining situation. My toddler ate like a child, making good use of their perfect white napkins and tablecloth, but no one blinked an eye. As I left, I apologized to the server for the mess, and he responded "As long as you enjoyed, it's alright."

The food was delicious and the waitress was mostly great. We started with the burrata (which does not come with bread, surprisingly) and the scallops. Both were yummy. For dessert, we had the chocolate lava cake and the sorbet. Both were delicious. 4 stars instead of 5 is mostly for the service. We had to get the waitstaff's attention a couple times to order drinks and get more water. Would definitely go back!

After combing through their reviews and watching the social media content of Sociale, I was looking forward to our reservation here however after the IRL experience....like the millennials say, "it was mid."Their menu is very concise and not vegetarian/pescatarian friendly; we ordered the Rigatoni All'Amatriciana and a special order modification of the Pappardelle With Braised Duck but without the duck and instead with Mushroom Bolognese. The concept of eating Italian food in an alleyway sounds cute, but dependent on which side you sit, it can be a little creepy and unsafe as you're unsure who is going to arrive from behind. The heat lamps inside did their job, however the pasta dishes we ordered were not that impressive, it reminded me of Trader Joe's pasta prepared al dente with ingredients mushed, moreso that's how my dish tasted. Maybe for special occasions Sociale hits different, however the whole experience felt very unfulfilling as I joked we could stop by Super Duper Burgers after.

I've come here multiple with the most recent visit for a private event/educational dinner. We had the private room again and service and food were both great. I started with the salad and love the puffed rice for texture and that it wasn't soggy and or over dressed. The scallops were beautifully cooked and the tomato jam and pea purée added a nice sweetness. The short ribs were tender and flavorful as well. I had the chocolate cake for dessert and was rich and definitely very chocolaty but ate it all. Everything came out timely and servers were as well with all our drinks. My pics aren't the greatest but it was all really delicious.

Spectacular meal here last night. Enjoyed sitting outside in the patio under heaters and everything was perfect. Our waiter Mathew made some incredible recommendations. We loved the pastas. Each was fresh and served aldente. The duck pasta with truffle oil and the fennel sausage with green peppers pasta were amazing. The fried green olives are a real innovative treat and the secondis are not to be missed. We actually split the pork chop which was perfectly cooked .. moist and juicy and fantastic. Each of our courses was paired by Jim our incredibly knowledgeable Som. He went over and above explaining each wine and why he selected. Started with a wonderful proseco right through to the madera at the end with the chocolate olive cake. We only wish we had more room to try the game hen and other pastas. This is what dining is all about!

You will love the atmosphere. It is comfortable, upscale with inside and out dining. Lots of heaters for cool evenings. Food is very good, served professionally with the sommelier Josh offering wine suggestions that meet your taste and budget. I had Italian fish stew prepared perfectly with a light tomato sauce that did not over power. My wife enjoyed the pasta cooked al dente.

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
