Worth a visit

Great menu varieties. Food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the black cod, gyoza, and crispy king crab.
Atmosphere is good with a view of the museum of the future in certain areas.

First of all sad to see that some people think it is ok to put a 1 star review for their failure to book at this place and therefore not being let in. It doesn’t do this establishment and their staff any justice.

We had dinner for two, chose the base omakase. Fantastic food and service, great atmosphere and music. I couldn’t think of anything that would’ve made the evening more perfect.

I usually put salt and pepper on everything but here that wasnt needed, beautifully crafted cuisine with phenomenal flavors and seasoned to perfection.

Although Clap can be tough to find upon arrival, it’s nestled away with amazing rooftop views of the city. The vibe is really good too, there was a live DJ and whilst it was buzzy it never felt too busy. We sat out on the open terrace, where there are heaters as it did get a little breezy. Staff couldn’t do more to help us, our waiter recommended dishes to us and even though we did the chef’s tasting menu, he kindly asked for one food item to be replaced as I didn’t like it. Be prepared - this is v pricey, as many places like this in Dubai are, so you can get cheaper Asian restaurants but we enjoyed the food and experience. Oh and the toilets are amazing too with scenic views!

Tried to visit clap with my friends just to have a drinks at the bar. But the receptionist was rude. Making some alibi not to let us in. I don’t think he like what he’s doing. Lol

We went as a large group, which is always difficult to handle. The kitchen did a great job of ensuring high food quality and presentation and the service continued to be excellent.

The atmosphere was what we like, the DJ was moving with the music, the cocktails were very good and the night views from where we were sitting set the visual tone. But the best part was the excellently prepared food, the textures, the tastes which blended all well together and finally the service which was friendly; always ready to assist and very courteous. Muza, our main server was fabulous.
We will visit every time we come to Dubai. 5-stars all the way. It's pricey but you can fast from another dinner or two and prepare for this one.

Not a big fan of restaurants in the DIFC and the show off crowd that goes there but Clap is on another level.

The Nobu’s inspired cuisine is constantly very very good and the business lunch is a luxurious bargain !

Love the bar on the terrasse and the mind blowing views .

The best part remains the service , incredibly kind and very fast ! Special thanks to Francis that makes every visit a very special moment.

Amazing vibes in CLAP ! On as passer un bon moment !
I was there for couple drinks,
Hostess Palina was very nice, she explain us concept and she help me a lot to find a space in the bar compter , to enjoy the evening. All bar team made d’élisions cocktails and DJ play good music. I will come back for sure ! Best on DIFC!

Beautiful busy restaurant, the service on the patio is quite relaxed and friendly however the second visit we were feeling rushed out of the lounge. The server kept trying to bill us 15min before our 2 hour out time and kept hovering by the table asking us to order. The cocktails are very good however the king crab roll was simply a tiny California roll topped with shredded crab (hopefully king crab for the price) and tasted bland. I love the crispy rice and edamame and the nigiri is excellent. Will still come again but hope not to feel so rushed.

First and last time to this restaurant
I dislike the 2 hour time slots that have become the norm now anyway but here they go the extra mile to ensure you know you are on a time limit. You barely get time to read a menu, food is taken away without you even being asked, waiters literally stand over your table hurrying you up and are constantly looking at their watch. To top it off the manager comes and tells you at least 25min prior to the end of you allotted time that you have x amount of time left. They feel they have done you a massive favour if they add 10 mins on to your time even though you are still spending money.
Food is ok but there are many high end restaurants in Dubai you can get similar. Restaurant itself is nice but overall the constant rushing to get you out along with over inflated prices which are not justified if you can’t even enjoy the evening means I for one won’t be back. It’s all about the money!

My first experience using AT was awesome and the AT support saved the day! When my booking transfer initiated two days earlier but didn't complete by the day of the reservation, AT was able to expedite the transfer and confirm a table at Call Me Gaby in Miami Beach. I highly recommend this service. Reservations sell out in minutes as they become available at this restaurant. I was able to get a table at the exact time we wanted, on a peak weekend night. Amazing!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
