Service was outstanding, and the martini rinks as one of the best I've ever had but after having the bone in ribeye for to a year ago and haven't fall off the bone and be something that we couldn't wait to go back to healdsburg to have again, sorely, disappointed. The meat was tough and the highlight this year was the hassleback potato and shrimp and grits was definitely a stand out as well but I would guide the restaurant to serve one or two less shrimp because it's a meal in itself, and the grits were cooked perfectly and a delicious tomato broth. Just super disappointed that we've been dreaming of that ribeye for a year and it wasn't even good, it was just OK. We finished the meal with a dirty chai cake, which was so hard you couldn't even cut it (so if you're looking for a moist piece of birthday cake, this is not it) we each took a bite and left the rest. We go out of our way to eat at Charlie palmers establishments, but this one was much better last year.

The girlfriends and I came in here for dinner and everything was great. The service is always top notch, I love how they always checked on us and make we have everything we need. The ambiance is perfect for those romantic dates and the food never dissapoints!
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Healdsburg.
Hands down, it has the best service in town. (Thanks, to Dan). Great food. Nice options for no corkage on local wines. Also, there are a number of meal options: A la carte at the bar (or Spirit Bar), 3 course prix fixe, 5 course tasting menu. They also participate in a number of specials and charity events (ie. Sonoma Restaurant Week, Jazz on the Menu... and that's just this week!) It is special enough that we had our wedding dinner there. And casual enough for a nice dinner with friends.

This might be the best meal I've had yet since moving to Napa/Sonoma. The dishes are very unique takes on classic comforts presented with incredible style and excellent service. I definitely felt taken care of. The ambiance was comfortable elegance & I like that you can sit at the bar for a la carte options. The short rib pasta was to die for as well as the duck! My friends and I tried 3 desserts and all three were amazing (chai cake, peanut butter chocolate cake, and cheese cake with grapefruit). Will definitely come back for their Prix fixe menu

5. I had a lovely meal here and an overall great experience.Upon entering (we were a party of 4) the staff was all smiles and welcoming. My only complaint at this point was that they sat us right in the front adjacent to the very busy bar. Maybe because we had an early reservation at 6:15pm, so next time I will make a point of asking for a table towards the back. At least the restaurant acoustics are pretty good so we were still able to chat over the loud bar crowd. The wait staff is truly wonderful, so attentive and always checking on us. We all went with the 3 course dinners. I must say they sure don't skimp on the portions here and the price of $75 seems just perfect to me. I started with the Himachi Crudo, simply delicious and fresh. Next I had the New York Strip steak and I learned that their medium rare is really more like a "rare", so next time will order medium. It was still really great though.The desserts are really great as well. All in all we had a great experience and will return.

All of us ordered the 3 course dinners. The 5 course tasting menu requires that everyone at a table order it. Kind'a like being at mom's house, you eat what she gives you.So right off the bat, the dinners were very good but not over the top - OMG - "This is the best thing I've ever eaten". As the 4 of us selected different things and shared bites, I got to taste most of the menu items.My shrimp grits was delicious plus. The 4 giant shrimp cooked perfectly. The grits were moist, flavorful, toothsome and buttery but not to a fault. My medium rare steak was also seasoned well. My inclination is to order a steak cooked medium, but at the behest of my wife she insisted that I order this one medium rare. And truthfully to my taste it was undercooked, actually almost uncooked in the center. Wine selection and enthusiastic recommendation: The Vivier Pinot noir. $21 glass. Smooth and rich tasting without being sweet. (All the wines by the glass and bottle are typical 4 to 5 times markup from retail. (Several Bay Area wine shops sell this Vivier Pinot Noir for $38 / bottle.)The best food of the meal? The desserts. We tried 4. Loved every single one.The best overall factor at this place: The service! From greeting to exiting the level of pampering is almost royal. Every server (we met 4) was calm, focused, attentive and knowledgeable. One of our party measures a restaurant satisfaction by the quality of service over the food. She was delighted here.So, for $75 per person this place offers great value. Given that upper end dining in ultra-touristy Healdsburg at the top 10 restaurants is horrifically expensive (ie; Single Thread), you can be quite satisfied with the Dry Creek Kitchen without emptying your bank account.

We were hard pressed to find a restaurant on Thanksgiving that was open and almost resorted to purchasing take-out from Oakville Grocery and Little Saint the day before and simply have a haphazard Thanksgiving meal in our room at the Healdsburg Inn on Thanksgiving. Ms. S's Turkey Two Ways and my Duroc Pork Chop were superlative but what stood out the most was the service (and they were packed on Thanksgiving Day) which rivalled the French Laundry...
Excellent in every way until the main menu item
My daughter and I were there for dinner and had the five course fix menu. Everything was exceptional: the ambience, the staff, food preparation and presentation. The exception was the steak, which was the main menu item. 1st we were not asked how the steak should be prepared, which I thought unusual. It was a New York strip. I had never seen a New York strip look like this. It was served medium rare and only warm. The real issue was that in my opinion, it was a bad cut of beef. My standard is Ruth Chris steak House. There was gristle from the first slice. Since I was already full from the day of wine tasting, I did not make an issue of it and in fairness I could’ve returned it, which I did not. There was a shift change at the close of my dinner, and they never asked how it was. I will give them the benefit of confusion at that point. Being from the Midwest, I have had a lot of steaks. Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
