Very disappointed by the way we were treated, it definitely dampened the experience at KYU. We were a table of 12 celebrating my cousins birthday. The waiter demanded we order family style when we told him each of us wanted something different so it didn't work out. He then aggressively asked for the order and stated that this wasn't a Chili's and that we couldn't pay with 12 credit cards. At this point we were uncomfortable and assured him the bill would be taken care of appropriately but he still seemed bothered to attend our table. Water was never refilled and we had to flag down other waiters for our drinks and other things. Finally we had to call over the manager and explain to her our experience which she then offered us a dessert but honestly it's not even worth going back there to be treated the manner that employee did.

Kyu 1000% lives up to the hype. The service is amazing and the food is even better.The head of cauli is a must try! The red snapper is INCREDIBLE and moist. This place gets super packed so reserve ahead of time. On weekends there can even be a waiting list for the bar.

The amount of food was really small and the ribs where literally burned even though they were really smooth the flavor was really bad. I only liked the coconut cake. The service was regular because I was celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and they didn't even put a candle. The ambience is normal, maybe good for drinks at the evening. I wouldn't recommend.

Well-prepared delectable plates with great presentations and flavors.The service was my favorite and that says alot since the food was high quality! We were a party of 4 and 2 of us arrived early- we waited for the other couple at the bar. While we were seated at the bar waiting for our drinks we noticed two gentlemen standing by the bar and were asking the bartender if anyone was leaving soon. the bartender told him as of now it looks like all seats are full and thats when my bf and i offered up our seats as we were just waiting for the other couple and didnt mind standing in the meantime. The bartender gave us a complimentary drink as a thank you which was also very sweet of him. As we got seated the waiter made sure to describe any dish we had questions on in great detail. He knew all the ingredients and assured us on our order. The quality of the food was also top tier! another nice note is that the use zak the baker bread which is a bakery near them and extremely fresh for the beef tartare.

Unfortunately they are currently closed and so sad since they are an amazing restaurant. The food offerings are a bit smaller than other places but they are incredible! There isn't a bad plate in the place. We had a table of four so we shared some pairings and all enjoyed the different offerings. Personally loved their fried chicken and beef plate. Not to mention they're amazing drinks. I've had the best "old fashioned" that I have ever had here. Just perfect with an incredible taste. What an amazing place and never will disappoint.

Tofu buns - the tofu was gelatinous and not firm at all. The 60 dollar beef brisket was extremely overcooked and not even that tender. The only good item was the crispy tuna bites. The service was painfully slow and the wait staff was all over the place in their confusion. Would not return.

Disregard for Allergies and Terrible Service

We never post reviews but what happened last night is unacceptable! We told the waiter very loud and clear twice that there is a sever fish and seafood allergy at the table. We ordered food, which was advised safe. When the food arrived to The table I asked to confirm the food was safe to eat, it turns out that it wasn’t as it was fried in the same frier as fish and seafood. We asked the waiter to take it back and we ordered something else that was said to be safe. Again the food arrived, we double checked and the same problem. Not even an apology from a waiter. The manager comes over and has a bloody nerve to ask how severe is the allergy!!!! We informed her as we informed the waiter at the very beginning that it is hospital severe! We then asked to tell us what was safe to order and the attitude she demonstrated was extremely rude and it certainly felt like we were inconveniencing her! The reality was we were just trying to make sure that we had a safe meal and no one ended up in a hospital. The luck of care, the luck of following health and safety protocols is absolutely shocking in a place like that. We eat in restaurants all over Miami all the time, we never had experience like that. People if you want to be treated with respect and dignity and if worse you do have food allergy please do yourself a favor and find a different place. To top it off the food was very average and way overpriced, definitely not worth it for us even if we didn’t have this terrible experience. Just wanted to share in hopes that if someone has severe allergies they’d better stay away for their own safety.

this restaurant is a must tryif you are in miami and want the best quality food, service and ambiance you should go to kyu this restaurant is has some of the best food and drinks i have tasted I have personally ever tasted. The service is great we had a server that was always fast to our needs. the ambiance was great as well. the dessert was by far the best i have ever had. we got the lava cake and it was so good. it made my mind explode. it was the perfect combination of sweet and rich, but not to sweet and rich. one of the Entrees we had was the chicken. it was really good, especially with the sauce we had. another entrée we had was the ribs. these were one of the best ribs I have ever had. in conclusion this probably one of the best restaurants i've ever been in.

The food was fantastic, I visited with a vegan friend so we enjoyed all of the meatless options which were delicious. Roasted cauliflower in pumpkin miso, black bean steam bun and the Thai rice pot were all so tasty and beautifully presented. The Thai tonic drink with elder flower was a delightful mock tail as well. This was our second visit to Kyu and it did not disappoint on return. We skipped lunch to do the tasting menu and were glad we did, even though we were still very full by the end. We’ll definitely be back on our next Miami trip. The cocktails are nicely done and pair well with the food. But the food is the main attraction. We did the chef’s tasting and were happy with how it came out - everything is excellent and we got some items we probably wouldn’t have ordered. They aim to give you a taste of every part of the kitchen, so you’ll get a couple of starters, some raw bar items, some veggies (the cauliflower, kale chips and bok choy are excellent!) and a few mains (the crispy fried rice with egg and crab was excellent, and the Wagyu brisket with sauces, pickled veggies and lettuce for wraps was perfectly done). Dessert was a delicious piece of coconut cake. Bring your appetite if you do the tasting. I think it’s probably more approachable for 4 people than 2 - everything is family style and they didn’t adjust the portions for 2.

KYU is a whole vibe!! Amazing food and playlist is on Point! I highly highly recommend dining at KYU at least once! Try not to get hooked!!! That's how delicious their dishes are. Do not waste your time or money. Food, including famous fried chicken and rice pot were less than ok. In addition, rice showed up 20 minutes after our main dishes and only because we asked. Server was incredibly rude and manager just told us “too bad” Terrible attitudes and made the whole experience unpleasant. Could not wait to get out of there! This place was special a few years ago—but no longer! Overpriced and awful service.

First off, we had some drinks at the bar, the old fashioned was AMAZING. Great bartender. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My kids LOVED the food. We ordered various plates to share, family style. Everything was absolutely delicious and I couldn't get enough. My 6 year old had most of the ribs and my 4 year old had the octopus. One of my favorites was the tuna tartare. The only thing I didn't love was the fried rice, it was just OK, imho. Would highly recommend!!!

Reservations- it's tough to get one online if not booked in advance but if you have some time in hand - check out the restaurant in person. That's what we did and got a table in 30 minutes. Price- It is expensive, but the service was really good ! The chef personally came to check on us and make suggestions Ambience- Great! Food - we ordered all the vegetarian options, and it was tasty! I'd recommend try it!

We ate out on the front patio and had brisket, the branzino, and the mushrooms. I thought the brisket and mushrooms were delicious but the branzino- for the price- was really really small. They need to either remove from menu or provide a larger piece. The drink list didn’t really entice me. The tables outside need to be cleaned a bit better, but I appreciate having it as an option.

Food was top notch! We ordered the beef wagyu, tomahawk steak, cauliflower, crispy rice with tuna, crispy rice with hamachi, Thai fried rice, fried chicken, soft shell crab Bao, and creamed spinach. Everything was outstanding but the cauliflower was the best thing on the menu! It's in a creamy cilantro goat cheese sauce and just was superb. Place is super loud so don't go here if you want to talk with your friends - only if you want excellent food.

If you go make a reservation and be sure to order the Pork belly bao buns. Service is great, ambiance is perfect match for the food and vibe. Music is also really good they played some Gunna which was super fire dollaz on my head is always a banger. Anyways the food here is incredible I tried the short rib, the stone pot rice, the sweet potato, the baby back ribs, and the bao buns. Everything about this place is a 10/10. If you're in Wynwood you should definitely try to come check this spot out. Food is incredible! On top of that the drinks are super fire too I forgot to mention that but they have one of the best espresso martini's I've ever tried. The high flyway was also an awesome cocktail. Service is outstanding I never had to ask for a water to be refilled.

Winner winner in Miami! This was my favorite place to eat here! What to get? The duck breast burnt ends were really tasty. I highly highly recommend the Thai stone bowl fried rice. The flavors were just amazing! The Thai flavors meshed so well together! I was skeptical getting a $40 bowl of fried rice with king crab but I didn't regret it at all! Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Money transfer

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

We were very pleased with our experience at Scarpetta. It made our anniversary very memorable. The reservation was seamlessly transferred into our name.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
