Tasty,tasty very very tasty
This restaurant was unexpectedly perfect from the greeting to the food, service and the upstairs bar. Went in after seeing queues outside many close by restaurants and by the time we left felt like the smartest people in London for choosing to come here instead. Great food and even better staff with our waiter Matthew being among the best at his job we have ever experienced. Top food top staff. Couldn't recommend more!

Very flavorful dishes and friendly staff
We happened upon Louie before a show around the corner. They might not cater for pre-theatre diners but I’m so glad we joined. Wonderful rainbow trout carpaccio and fennel/asparagus salad, followed by smoked lamb. The calamari was a little ho-hum but other dishes great and staff super friendly. They even found us the last bottle of a rare corsican wine. It was pretty quiet early on saturday night but imagine jt gets very busy later.

This is a fine dining restaurant and fine dining it was Beautifully cooked rack of lamb with red wine jus Foie de gras starter with brioche Excellent service Very good wine and sommelier

5/5 came here by myself which I thought would have been awkward for a place like the alligator bar, I have been here with friends and it’s such a upbeat place however the waitress Adele gave me suggestions on drinks and food, made sure I had fun,introduced me to the people who have gone to Louie London before.would definitely recommend
Wonderful evening
Had such a fantastic evening at Louie last night with my son, who had 'won' the meal as a prize from his employer. I had felt fairly worried that we would look daft, being mum and son, but not a single person made us feel stupid. We felt sooo welcomed from the moment we arrived. We were initially taken to the amazing bar with outside terrace where it was lovely to have a cocktail in the breeze (it was a muggy early evening) and then down to the restaurant. I tried the crab cake followed by the most delicious lobster as my main. Arthur had calamari followed by New York strip steak. Both of us loved our meals - beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I will dream of that lobster for ever! I then had their cheese selection (which came with a little dish of honey - genius idea) and Arthur had Southern Pecan Pie. Perfect....but, having had the cheese platter, I would return for that every single time! We both tried a few cocktails plus a lovely Italian red dessert wine (whose name I can no longer remember, annoyingly) and I am so grateful to everyone at Louie for making our evening one to remember for ever. The ambience was quite relaxed which was lovely - I am not a major fan of overly formal . I wish I had taken note of more people's names as everyone we came in contact with was charming. Tariq, our waiter, did a wonderful job and it is him I have to thank for the cheese recommendation!
Average at best
The bar upstairs was lovely but weird with little atmosphere and unpleasant that people could smoke on the terrace. The restaurant itself was very busy and buzzy. The food however was mixed with a nice starter and a very average main of just beans. The wine was average and the service erratic. Disappointed overall. Wouldn’t go again.
Louie is my favourite place !
Best place in London! First of all the stuff working there are incredible, making you feel like part of their family. Ali is someone very special, I have never seen a person who like is Job so much! He is fun, kind and has the best energies. This place is amazing, boutique environment, great music and great service.
Expensive for very average food.
First impressions pretty good although table accessories made it look cheap. Service was adequote and how it should be. Nothing special here. Food fine - expected much much more for the price. Wine - very expensive and nothing out of the ordinary. Location spot on as near SOHO. Will forget this restaurant very quickly as nothing tangible to hold on to. Sadly 22% or what ever it was for service was hugely out of place. I would expect to pay in Michelin star resutarants but not in a small very average boutique restaurant. Sadly cannot say will ever go again. Take plenty of money as expensive and not was one would expect. Sorry !
Elegant and classy
Beautiful food, great atmosphere amazing cocktails. We had great help from the Sommelier walked us through all the options and made it easier for us to chose the perfect wine that goes with our food was that it was amazing. Can’t wait to be back.
Wonderful dinner and beautiful spot in the heart of London!
It’s my first time to try this spot which was highly recommended by a dear friend. It did not disappoint! We ordered several seafood dishes like seabass, tuna and monkfish etc, they were all very fresh and delicious. Service by Pauline made the whole experience very pleasant. It’s a lovely spot on the second floor and they have a nice bar on the third floor, which we checked out after dinner with our amazing host Vanya. Highly recommend!
Terrible
Terrible overpriced salty food rude service. I will never return. Poor ambiance and all staff encountered were rude especially the restaurant manager .
Markets itself as a top tier restaurant but doorman are more Wetherspoons
Popped in for a drink after dinner at the ivy. 4 of us walked into doorway and bouncer came over said aggressively that it was closed and physically man handled our girls out of the door and pulled it into their faces. When we confronted him for being physical with our girls he then tried to fight us shouting at us and swearing outside the venue. Spent thousands here since it opened and this behaviour is not ok. Will not be going back.
Bad service beautiful place
I didn’t try the restaurant. We had a table for the bar in the 3rd floor. Beautiful place. Nice ambiance. When my friend booked her table there was a note in small letters saying that tables were required by 9pm or need to pay some minimum spent. Our table was for 7:45pm. So it was not making much sense.the waiter told us we would need to leave. We asked what time we needed to return it back. We were informed by 10PM. When dj would start playing. Then I believe the manager came around, and we asked if we could stay longer. He never came back to revert. So we thought it was ok to stay. Until a waitress came around and poured almost a quarter bottle of wine in JUST ONE GLASS. We were in 6 people. Some glasses almost empty and she totally ignored. A bit before she was already removing the glasses without asking if we had finished and without informing us that we would need to leave by 10PM. Terrible customer service experience for a place like this. They have a good price for cocktails but their wine menu is very small and the wines between £65-£85 were horrible options. Very very weak. We even asked if we could get a table at the restaurant. It was available online. But before we decided to check the wine menu of the restaurant. There were just a few more options than the bar and also not the best. It doesn’t go well for the place the small wine selection. The bar snacks were ok. The truffle toasties were nice. The arancini very average. I would like to go back but I do think they need to get better in their table service

Harassing Behaviour
Unfortunately, I have experienced a quite unpleasant situation on New Year’s Eve. I am still shocked by how I was treated, or should I rather say , harassed by a member of the staff, I assume a waiter. I do not know the name of the person but I can describe him as a tall man probably in his 40’s wearing a quite colorful shirt and gray suit. I was enjoying my drink and the music next to the DJ console ( where many other people were ) when this person started making his way through the crowd quite aggressively,screaming and pushing me several times. At a certain point he started screaming “move , move , move! “ in an incredibly rude manner. When I told him that this was not the way to treat clients he promptly screamed, gesticulating animatedly “if you are not happy you can leave, this is my house and you can just leave “ He also tried called other members of the staff to kick us out. Needless to say that I was totally shocked by such an aggressive and harassing behavior, especially when I understood that he wanted me to move to be next to the DJ and dance! Over the course of the night I haven’t received any apology from this person but he actually continued with his intimidating and awfully abusive behavior, making me feel unconfortable and unwelcomed. It is unacceptable that after paying an entrance of 100£ for me and my friend and for much more on drinks, one has to be treated the way I was.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
